ALDI in other cities:
The employees are always super friendly and knowledgeable. Anytime Ive had a question, or needed help carrying something, or even when my toddler was having a meltdown mid-checkout someone is always there to help me out. Now, if we can all work together to make their zero-carb bread a regular store staple...
Ive been doing curbside grocery pickup at this Aldi location, and they have been amazing. Mega shout-out to Claire, who fulfilled 2 of my orders so far. She has been incredibly friendly and professional, and she has gone above and beyond to make sure my orders are accurate and the items are high quality. In fact, all of the employees have been friendly, prompt, and helpful. Some of my friends have had concerns at other stores about getting quality produce - I can honestly say that the Aldi workers select better produce than I would, ha! For example, weve received some of the best avocados ever. Yum! I am so grateful that the Aldi employees are working and willing to help me and my family stay safe, and they wear smiles on their faces while doing so. Thank you!!!
Horrible today I went after work to buy something to make for dinner and there I was standing there for a good ten minutes before they fold me that there was one line. Register 2 and 4 were open. There was another girl waiting too. They finally told us that the line was down aisle 3. The line was so long and I would have to get behind people who came up after I did and there was no distancing 8n the line. I left the groceries. I will not be shopping there ever again.
Best prices overall, excellent store brands, more and more organic products on the shelves and in produce, delicious bakery store items, very reasonable prices on seasonal items. Stretch your food shopping dollars beyond belief. I havent shopped in Tops or Wegmans in several years.
Lots of parking. Need to use .25 to get a cart, which you get back when the cart is returned. Prices are lower on most items, but higher on others. You need to know your prices to get the benefit of savings. Most produce and fruits are very good. Aldis brands are good bargains. Cream cheese is a great buy and I have used it for baking a lot. Their brand is as good as Philadelphias brand. I do not care for their eggs. Just my opinion as I find the supermarkets eggs much better.
I have been shopping at Wegmans all my life and I never really thought I would change. But then I tried out Price Rite and realized there are much less expensive stores than Wegmans. I have only been to Aldis once but it was exactly what I was expecting: low prices, not much variety, and quick. The store is much more condensed then Wegmans allowing a faster shopping trip. The prices are low! But the variety of brands is reduced usually to just one brand for each item. The produce was great and fresh (but definitely not as many different types as Tops or Wegmans). If youre looking to save money on groceries come here!
Love Aldis. All of their food is always very good quality and the prices are incredibly reasonable - a lot cheaper than most supermarkets, without sacrificing quality. They also always have different random things (like, for example, our kids needed a humidifier and we found one at Aldi for $25 that works very, very well), and they always have different brands of things throughout the year (one season theyll have something from one brand, and then the next few months theyll have something from another brand), so its nice to be able to try new things. We switched from Wegmans to Aldi and we are so glad we did.
AWESOME prices on so much. I love their baby items! Little Journey organic food pouches are only 79 cents compared to 1.79 for plum organics at top or Wegmans. Wipes are super soft and good quality but are cheaper than Wegmans/tops store brands. Girl scout cookie knock-offs only 1.39 (but taste like the real thing). And they have random deal on home items that I always check out. I just wish they had better evening hours- I work until 8 pm so can only shop at Aldis on the weekends.
The service was horrible, we go to this Aldis all the time and the cashier Emily S was so rude...she was in conversation with another cashier who’s lane was closed and who’s name I didn’t get. We were the only customers in line and she didn’t even scan our items until we stepped into her line of sight and blocked her friend. She finally scanned all of our 3 items and then STOPPED TO CONTINUE her conversation. Our total was very visible and we were paying in cash but she ignored us even when my wife tried to wave a $20 to get her attention. They were speaking about someone who didn’t know the proper way to shelve things or some such. Nothing important, and certainly not important enough to ignore customers who have things to do and are tying to get out the door in the morning. We’ve witnessed this cashier do this before but not to ourselves. Her behavior is ignorant and rude and after noticing the cash in my wife’s hand she goes “oh sorry hun, have a nice day’...hun???? I’m not your friend, I am a customer. So incredibly irritated at this whole thing.
Rude, unprofessional staff, buy the low priced food of Aldi, just dont expect any customer service from the lazy staff and manager at this location, go ahead and connect the dots, one cashier open with huge lines. Rather go to a different Aldi 5-10 mins drive away been to 4-5 different neighboirhood aldi stores many times all have low prices and courteous customer service consistently, accept this location, if in cheektowaga just go to wegmens if u like smiles and friendly staff, bring in the self check out Aldi especially for the staff and manager at this location or try moving it like the walmart did and re-hire the rude staff. Keep the money in the community, no thanks not this Aldi.
I love shopping at Aldis. I just spent $83 and i have 4 pks of meat, 2 cartons of milk, 2 containers of orange juice, bag of potatoes, onions, tomatos, carrots, mushrooms and breads and snacks....i mean really?!!....anywhere else and i would have spent $150 or more... items are not expensive so that you can try them to see if you like them without wasting your money. By the way the cheesecake is delicious.
I am rating this as a 1 for this situation only. I wanted to know if Aldi carried honey. Their web site is a disaster. One cannot search for an item. I then tried to call them with a number from their site and it was a non working number. Unbelievable ! I guess Ill see if they carry honey on my next shopping trip-which is always enjoyable and I would rate a 5.

2022-05-27I love their meet selections, I always expect a cheaper store to no have quality meat. That isn’t the case at Aldi’s. They also have a very good fresh produce section. Could have more cereal options, I just didn’t find much I liked.

2019-07-16Produce is iffy as usual. Bottle water is cheaper than regular stores and taste good so I get that when I come here. Overall very inexpensive to pick up a few odds & ins if you dont mind waiting in line longer than it takes you to shop

2021-12-30This is not the Aldi I normally shop at but I am here a few times a year. As like my normal Aldi this is a great store. It is clean and neat and the employees are great. Cant beat the prices. The check out lines were long but dont let that scare you as they are very fast.

2021-10-29Aldi is great regardless of location. However, this location has a serious issue with how it handles its lines. Only one register was open and about ten people were lined up, taking up an entire aisle due to distancing. Another register opened and the line that was formed would split at the register. An employee then let another customer bypass this main line completing disrespecting the ten plus groups of people and there time. This would not be an issue if Aldi was better about moving stickers to help when the line gets larger similar to Trader Joes. It does not help, that there is no self scan which would also alleviate this issue.

2022-05-11More cashiers would help. Store cleanliness looks worse every time. Still understaffed...

2021-12-01Gave me a hard time because I drew attention to them not abiding by the new Erie County mask mandate set in place November 23. They either threatened to, or actually did call the police on me. Was very disappointed in the manner which they handle Health regulations at the store. They shouldnt be treating people who abide by the rules in such a hasty, unjust and unprofessional manner. I am disgusted by their disrespect for covid health precautions set in place by the government.I followed up by calling Aldi customer service and the Erie County Health Department to file a grievance.

2021-08-20Let me to you about this B* at Aldi ...I got up to the cashier and she was like happy Friday and I said right on ... And she goes can you smile for me ... And I go what?! (As she stopped scanning my stuff) ... Can you smile for me ... Me, with a confused look on my face ... I just want to pay for my groceries and go back home .... Her: are you serious? ... Me: yeah and you wonder why people go to self checkoutsAfter that, she was less than careful with my stuff. Wonder why.
