Alps Sweet Shop in other cities:
My absolute favorite chocolate shop of all time. I grew up with the Alps getting their chocolates every year for all the holidays. They have become a staple in my life for these special occasions and just to enjoy as a treat here and there. The chocolates are so delicious; I cant get enough when I go! Theyve expanded their selection over the years which is wonderful. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I always look forward to sharing my love of the Alps with those who may not have yet had the pleasure of trying. Please note, they do get a little busier around each holiday, so plan ahead if you can, but regardless, their product is so worth it!
Way overpriced. The staff could use some sweetening up. A little paranoid about anyone walking around with some of the chocolate pieces. Had some strange experiences there years ago. They seemed to push the wrapped boxes on me one time, saying some strange things. Will not go back, again.

2022-05-17Chocolate is good. Beware other items. Bought a package of fruit slices today and felt bad for my garbage pail as I threw them in. Old, dry and hard. Inedible.

2021-12-28Adorable chocolate shop! Great selection of gummies (sorry the pic is street kids ate most of the bag...) and chocolates! Chocolate covered almonds were excellent and the coconut toffee macadamia nuts were heavenly!

2021-12-24Delicious chocolatey goodness made right on premises. The dark chocolate grahams are the best you will ever experience. Reeses aint got nuthin on Alps peanut butter cups, especially the dark chocolate. Want something a little different? Try their lemon almonds. Youre welcome. 😉✌️

2021-09-06Im in love with the dark chocolate covered Graham crackers and the dark chocolate marshmallows. Actually anything dark chocolate. This is by far, the best dark chocolate Ive ever tasted. Ive in Rockland County, but whenever I am Beacon, or close by, I make sure to stock up on my sweets and say hello to the lovely young ladies. They have the sweetest dispositions and make me feel so welcomed each time I come. They even know my favorite pieces now. Great customer service. Ive even purchased choclates here and mailed back home to family in Massachusetts. They love it as well.

2021-08-06The chocolates were super delicious. Loved the almond turtles and honeycombs. Shout out to Victoria who was super helpful in picking out the perfect gifts for family that is super ingredient conscious. She was also very kind and friendly. We also appreciate that she was wearing her mask and using sanitizer when handling items. Overall a lovely shopping experience. Will visit again.

2021-04-08The Alps milk chocolate is my absolute favorite. Its so rich and creamy. I LOVE the milk chocolate covered pretzels and potato chips. The milk chocolate sea salt caramels are also heavenly. I dont care much for dark chocolate, however my husband and son love their dark chocolate too. I think the Alps makes better chocolate than the other chocolate shops in the Hudson Valley.

2021-04-02Who could rate a chocolate shop anything but five stars? Alps was the highlight of our Beacon trip. It reminded me of the chocolate shops in Europe, the employees were really nice, and most of all, ohhhhhhh the chocolate...so very good. I wish we would have brought more home.
