Andale Mexican Restaurant in other cities:
We dont usually eat at Mexican restaurants because were doing low carb and the beans in the rice and chips and tortillas are off limits but we decided to try Andale. We got the fajitas for two with chicken shrimp and carnitas. The carnitas for some of the best we ever had. Tender melt in your mouth deliciousness. The service was very friendly and the items we couldnt eat looked delicious
Was not pleased with my order the chicken was boiled and slimy tasted uncooked the salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce chips were stale rice was over cooked refried beans were cold. I would never go back here again. I had better Mexican food at other local restaurants heck my mom cooks better Mexican food then this place.
We were sadly disappointed in all 3 of our takeout meals. The fish tacos had weird gooey stuff on the bottom and I couldn’t bring myself to eat them, chips were stale, and they forgot fries for my son. Maybe they should cut their menu down to a few good items instead of having so many options that are meh.
My husbands and my first time visiting. We loved the atmosphere, it was crowded, but friendly. The staff very quick to seat us although they were packed. The food was amazing! I ordered the enchiladas supremas, omg loved it. My husband ordered carne asada fundido, steak and chorizo, he loved it, and we ordered a chicken quesadilla. We cant wait to come again and try other dishes.
Went there tonight with friends and our server was so rude after we asked a few questions about the menu. Every time she dropped something off she would throw it on the table like we were bothering her. The food wasnt good. Queso was runny and watery. The salsa was the only thing I liked. I wouldnt have even minded how bad the food was if the server had been pleasant. But wow.. so nasty.
Made a 7 o’clock reservation that apparently was a waste of effort. Staff was friendly and helpful but the ambiance is lacking. Food prices were reasonable; the the food quality was disappointing. Likely my first and last visit; there are better options for good Mexican food in the area.
I went to this place couple of days back purely based on good reviews online and I was definitely disappointed. To start off, the food neither tasted great nor authentic. The rice was alright but the refried beans and guac tasted terrible compared to all the authentic Mexican restaurants I have been to. The grilled chicken from my dish that I had ordered was overcooked and rubbery. And to top it off, the waitress was not friendly and that definitely did not help.So will I visit this place again? Yes, I would like to give this place another try. Maybe I visited on a day where the chef/waitress were having a bad day. I hope the experience is better the second time. If not, that will be the last time I will be visiting it.
Ended up here unplanned. But glad we did ! What a great little place and nice atmosphere. Felt like I was in Pee Wees big adventure looking for the basement in the Alamo. Our waiter was great and drinks were very strong not watered down. I would def recommend for a non fancy but fun experience .
My usual Mexican restaurant was closed so I figured I would try this place because they had such a great review. All I can say is Taco Bell has more authentic taste than this place. The food was horrible! The beans tasted like they came out of a can, the queso tasted like that cheap white Velveeta and the guacamole tasted like the horrible pre-made stuff at Wegmans. Then the service, I lost count on how many time the waitress threw something down in my table. She definitely had an attitude for no reason. Even though the food was horrible we didnt make a single complaint. Definitely will never return.
Second time we have eaten here. One of only a few places that are back open to indoor dining after the injunction. Sunday night dinner and it was great. Service, top notch. Not pushy, not too slow, just about right. We arrived at 7:30 and they planned on closing at 8:00. We said we’d order right away and be as quick as they could be. Ordered queso fundido right away and with the drinks, it arrived. Ordered our meals when the queso arrived. The Special Steak was very different. Grilled veggies on top a very tender steak with all the sides. The chimichangas with pork is my daughters favorite and it was to her liking. The wife ordered mole poblano and the chicken was very good, moist and cooked perfectly. If you’re in the Amherst, Clarence, Lockport, Pendleton areas, a small place with a bar that has great Mexican food. A must try!
We order from Andale at least once a month. The food is always amazing and the service is always friendly! The food is a million times better than anything youd get at a Mexican chain like Moes - plus Id rather support a local restaurant than a chain! If you dont know what to get, I recommend La Bandera (enchiladas). If you like a lot of spice, try the tacos al pastor!
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the greater buffalo area. We had a party of 8 and the place is rather small and it was full however we had a reservation and we where seated smoothly. The staff was friendly and attintive. The food was so good I am from the west coast and to honest I find east coast Mexican food to OK but far less tastey then the west coast counterparts. I was impressed with the sights and smells of all the food all 8 of us where pleased thats not easy in any diverse group. I hope to go back soon.
This is the best Mexican food in the North Buffalo área. The staff is friendly the prices are comparable if not better. I only gave 4 stars because I always look at the green impact of restaurants and I wish they could find non styrofoam options for take out and to go orders.
Love this place!! Great margaritas, salsa, and queso in particular (the essentials). Large vegetarian menu as well. Portions were HUGE and the prices were very reasonable. Everything I ordered (and I ordered a lot) was delicious. Everybody was so friendly and attentive! I did feel guilty since I am a regular at El Ranchito and I felt like I was cheating on them, but then I learned that Andale and El Ranchito are in the same family, so I feel much better :) Definitely will be on my regular rotation of restaurants to visit.
I placed a 60 dollar order to this restaurant through doordash, which was confirmed by the restaurant and I was charged for it. When I got to the restaurant I had to wait outside for over a half an hour before someone even acknowledged me, all for them to tell me they never received my order. They said it was an issue on doordash’s end, but when I contacted doordash they stated their was no issue, and that the restaurant actually did receive our order. So the screw up was on the restaurant. The guy who was bringing out orders was rude and frantic. And the entire system for bringing out orders to customers was chaotic and disorganized. They also disconnected their phones (I called multiple times), so I was unable to contact anybody about a refund or getting my food. I will not return to this restaurant and would not recommend it.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER. our first trip was in October when we moved in the East Amherst area, and we order from them at least once a week now. It’s addicting. Have only been treated with respect and never a disappointing experience, I will forever be an Andale customer!!
Growing up in San Antonio Texas, then relocating to WNY in my early 20’s was rough, for the want of a bueno Mexican restaurant. Then. There she was. Like a haloed senorita she appeared magically in my own backyard.....Andale. With homemade tamales, just the right amount of spicy enchiladas, freshly made salsa, large Mexican beer selection and beautiful, not tacky, Hispanic decor, I am smitten . If you think you’ve had great Mexican in WNY and you haven’t been to Andale yet, you are wrong. Andale, Andale! Hurry up and get to East Amherst to eat and keep the hottest, yummiest new restaurant in town alive and well.

2021-12-31The chilaquiles were just hard, dry, crunchy nacho chips with a little green salsa and cheese on top. So disappointing! The pastor taco didnt have enough meat.$14 for a medium frozen margarita is insanely expensive and not worth it.

2021-05-31My first time eating here. Many of my local favorites were closed for the Memorial Day holiday so it was time to try something new. I had the steak fajita quesadilla and my friend had the enchiladas supreme. Both were absolutely delicious with generous portions. The place is small but its very clean. The atmosphere is cheerful with beautiful decorations and lively Mexican music playing. I will definitely be returning here often.

2022-01-30I want to give 4 stars. I thought the food was good and priced accordingly. The drinks were really good but SO expensive. So 3 stars for that reason. I understand that the cost of everything has skyrocketed and I know that the price needs to met somewhere but seriously $18 for a strawberry daiquiri? Will probably not go back.

2021-12-06Apparently this is what this restaurant calls a „guacamole salad“. One tiny slice of avocado. I would laugh if it wasn’t that expensive. The ribeye steak was like eating my own shoe. Maybe just unlucky? Idk

2022-05-10We always have a nice meal here. Food is great and service is good. This time we had the California burrito and the chicken/steak fajitas. Cant wait for their new location to open!

2022-05-28Where do I begin with this place. We have been coming here a couple times a month for the past two years. Throughout the past two years you can see that there service and quality has been slowly detroiating. Almost every time we go in the prices seem to change. They have raised the prices per meal about 5 dollars and the portion sizes have been cut in half(at least for what we order). I placed an order today and the woman read it back to me and I get there and she said she didnt hear what I ordered... Fine I waited 10 minutes for my food and I live 2 miles down the road and it was ice cold. I got the burrito villa and got only the burrito and the quesadilla (only a quarter piece). I also got a margarita to go the large one and they told me it was 21.00 bucks. When I went 2 weeks prior I was charged 16.00. I honestly feel that this place is extremely overpriced now and the service is not great. I hope they can turn it around but can tell you I will not be coming here again if things dont change and prices are more reasonable.
