Ordered online and gave it about 20 minutes before I came to pick up. Not ready. After another hour of waiting I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. The manager wanted to refund the order amount only and not the taxes and tip. After an argument I got the whole amount charged on my credit card. Then the manager told me to get out of the restaurant. And here we are.
Was my first time at this location, took my beautiful daughter, food was good, service was great, crew was on point, definitely going back. Wasnt too busy for lunch time. 😋 only thing wrong was table was sticky, even after we clean it. Like the wax was coming off. Not like food sticky lol... but free parking, right off highway, nice view of the Cemetery lol..
Not sure how this place is still open. The only thing that could perhaps keep them open is the bar and the barbecue sauce. Otherwise : not worth it. With a meal for two here you can go to an actual restaurant and get freshly prepared food and support small business. It’s really a shame that corporate has not realized that they need to fix this with the same sense of urgency they overcharge us. Overall the location needs an overhaul: from the cooks to their carpets, it really reminds me of a cheap hotel in the middle of nowhere. I usually don’t go in this deep but the people of The Bronx deserve more.
The waitress brought me the wrong order and And served me terrible drinks. However, the manager was a wonderful lady and gave me my correct order very polite and professional. Additionally I felt that it was a bit pricey for the amount given.
They’re understaffed so badly. I waited 40 minutes for my drinks after the waiter took my order. At least the food was fresh and good. But beware that the service here is very slow.
The worst place looks very dark and dated. Waited to be seated when the place was empty. Got my seated waited over 30mins and was not approached by any wait staff or greeted in anyway finally decided to leave ! Will not come back as we walked out so did a few other people who also got tired of waiting.If someone had just said hey we will be with you in a few all would have been well but no one even acknowledged we were sitting there and we were passed by several employees and no one made any eye contact or cared about our business.
I been in all the Applebees in the Bronx in the past few months and they all seemed ghetto. This one is NOT. Its actually a cozy spot with a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were good as far as I know. I would actually bring a date here...not them other ones in the BX though...oh no.
Every item we ordered was horrible. It had that rubbery microwave taste. If Im going out to eat I really dont want food that tastes like something I could pop in the microwave on my own. I wont be returning here.
Waiter was pleasant but…Took the order and did not write anything down. Serves drinks after the food arrived. Gets the order wrong. Forgets a drink and brings it at the end of the meal. BTW Applebees has gotten expensive the prices are crazy. At least the food was good.

The staff was amazing doing the best they can with what they have ... the tables broken about 80% of them... The three stars is because of the shape of the restaurant not because of the staff the staff gets five stars
Two of us walked in together looking for our party. The host greeted us warmly (after checking for our vaccinnation status of course) and pointed us in the direction of our party. We got to the bar and the sever/bartender was very quick to take our orders. I like fast bar service. After our food was ordered, I thought the bartender did a great job moderating her wellness checks with us. Drinks were filled, food was hot and jokes were made. A good time indeed.This was actually my first time at this Applebees location - a good first impression was made. :)
🤢 Fly in my drink.. 15 mins for a new one.. Why?? The Outdoor seating section is completely neglected..Waiting over 30 mins just for the check alone. Food prices have skyrocketed but food quality is mediocre. Serve never checked on us.. Sad to say but this is the type of service you get in the Bronx.-Very disappointed In The Applebees Chain
Great food. Great vibes. Fresh and clean atmosphere, including the bathroom. The waiters were attentive and helpful.
My first time here and it was very peaceful. Large television and large windows for natural light. The manager was polite and attentive. The greeter was also attentive to seating us at the perfect booth. Our food was spot on delicious and the restrooms were very clean.
My friends and I came here for happy hour and spent about half the time waiting to order drinks. We finally got our drinks and mine tasted horrible so I had to wait again for my second drink . We ordered a combination of appetizers and mine was a joke. I ordered boneless buffalo chicken and the plate had more sauce then the chicken as shown in my photo not to mention they were severely overcooked. The celery was soggy and o are maybe 2 pieces that were edible. I wont be coming back here for happy hour again.

Food was sloppy dry and cold . Waiter kept forgetting things & they never came to sing happy birthday to my mother . Horrible service. Drinks tasted like juice . Always disappointed when I come to this location .

This was not a pleasant experience at all. Our table was sticky and the seats were covered with glitter. When I requested to have it cleaned our server Vanessa informed us that the sticky substance was on all the tables because they were old. I got a wet rag and cleaned it myself. We waited twenty-five minutes for dinner, which was not a full representation of the picture on the menu. The taste was substandard and was drenched with barbecue sauce. We were told the machine that made the frozen drinks were inoperable and were only able to order regular lemonade and not frozen. This establishment has left a bad taste in our mouths, and we will not return. This is a picture of the steak exactly as it was brought to us untouched. We first eat with our eyes and this is an eye sore. The $20 steak dinner was minuscule and resembled a kiddie meal. Our server apologized and told us everyone that orders this always complained, what a disappointment.

Worst sit down breakfast experience ever! It was expensive! The menu consisted of one page and the food was not good. It was a Sunday morning. The place was not very busy at all. The breakfast potatoes were more onions and peppers than potatoes. My wifes waffle was of a very dry, crumbly consistency--not good. The gentleman at the front, not only asked for my proof of vaccine--typically, a photo of my card--but also to see my I.D. Very Bronx and not in a good way! If the card is fake my I.D. proves nothing! Not everyone carries I.D. or is required to. The place was clean and looks nice, but thats about it.
The food is just ok, I go to other Applebee’s in the city, and this Applebee’s food standards are not that high, average at best, and btw, how you run out bbq sauce? 😂😂😂, they could’ve just went to target 🎯 And purchased a few bottles of bbq sauce

Great food and Great service. Plenty of appetizers to entrées to choose from. Great cocktails. Plenty of Sets to watch your favorite team. Either at the bar or table you cant go wrong. Prices are fair, not over priced. Nice place for a meal
This Applebees is so so. The staff is friendly but the food isn’t the greatest. There was also a foil wrapper with gum in it on our table when we were seated. I don’t think we’ll be coming back to this location anymore.

Really family oriented, and the waitress was very helpful in assisting my friends and I. I visited the Bronx location by Huchinson River Pkwy and my server was awesome. Price wise is your single $20-$50 just it be safe and cover gratuity. If your in a group or more $100-$300 just to be safe and cover gratuity.

Had a great lunch today. My sirloin steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. The garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli complimented the meal. Didnt get my servers name, but she was sweet and courteous. Compliments to the chef!
Great location to take your family out to eat this location is so much more better then the one in co-op . The customer service here is great and so are all the customers .Want to eat at a peaceful and friendly Environment this is a great spot .
Theyre clean inside. They ask for vaccine card and your photo ID in order to enter. The food was done well. The restroom was also clean and well stocked.
I guess it depends. Loves you. The first time I went to Applebees was a week before and I have the sweetest server female and the manager was really cool. The second time I went was 5 days later and my server was a little clumsy and he wasnt quite on point. And the manager was not cool! So the service on the first day was really good service on the second day was not! depends on the managers they all dea different with people! Prices n food is different with different managers even though I ordered the same thing, I DID NOT Appreciate it!🤔😒

Our waiter was so slow like literally. Me and my dad went on July 29th last week thursday. We had a booth. I think our waiter was very slow, he took long to bring the food out, and even dropped sauce from our everything appetizer. Everyone got our food 1st before us, and we literally came before half of the people! I would actually never come back to this location. I would, but just to not see that waiter again! He needs to be fired. I know i looked young, but i have a piece of mind. My dad did not want to tip him but we did anyway for trying-
No draft beer for over 2wks, only 2 brands of bottled beer available, Modelo and Heineken. Horrible
Although their menus have changed a little, like they no longer have half ribs... You gotta order the whole one ( its a Bummer, honestly) I still enjoy their friendly atmosphere... But Please Bring Back Half Ribs Available... Its my Favorite, however, cant eat a whole one... and taking the other half home is not the same, re-heating doesnt taste the same!

Ive been to this location before and this was the worst experience. To begin we were never asked for proof of vaccination like it is required by the state,that to me is very worrisome. I lost my sister to covid in April.The seats in the booths were ripped and sunken in very uncomfortable. We had to ask 3 different servers for salt and pepper and waited for 9 min for that. The womans bathroom was filthy and the hostess was too busy talking and gossiping with other employees.
This is a really bad service. I went there for lunch and I wanted to dine in and asked an employee if I could do so. The employee responded in a very rude manner. I did not understand their business policy. Why they hate their customers.

The dine in experience was poor. The ac seemed not to be functioning properly and table was super sticky. Our server R. did not come once to ask if we wanted to order another drink or would like anything else. As a result we ate our food and decided to leave without ordering anything else. My husband usually doesnt say much about where we go to eat but on that day he said I would never go there again. What an unpleasant place.
First of all the place is understaffed. They got the bartender at the bar and tending tables as well as doing to go orders. The girl is running back and forth giving customers wrong orders and receipts. I did a pickup order for a three cheese chicken cavatappi, this looks like a no cheese cavatappi.

Waited almost 45 minutes to be seated. After being seated we waited about an hour just to put in our drink order. When it comes to service, there was only on one waiter who helped us. Everyone else kept telling us to wait. We got there at 7:30PM, didnt leave until 10:30.
Id rather not select a star. Horrible service! My family and I, 6 total, including my mother who is in a wheelchair waiting for someone to serve us. Its 1pm in the afternoon. Only 4 tables occupied. Not croweded at all. I spotted 3 servers. All just looked and walked by. 13 minutes waiting. Finally a manager approaches to address the situation. By this time we are ready to go. Im on vacation. Eating out. Tipping waiters $30 because THEY DESERVE IT. Oh but not here at this AppleBees. Never again!!!
I was very disappointment with this Apple Pay poor staff poor food quality the server tried but he wasn’t good enough he has an Alex I was not doing right by us…. I got the food cold another food was missing an item took my food back came back again cold still missing item after I said something about it it was freezing in there as if the temperature was like below 10 and that is not a lie I waited 45 minutes I need to get cold food appetizer was much better than the original food I was just very disappointed I don’t think I ever will come back here again but they need to change this as I look at the reviews I guess I was not the only one who is not pleasant About this place. I think it needs a new owner or something to be changed it’s sad cause I really love this place but will not at all come to this one I rather be else well Applebees then this one. I give it no star.

The staff was great... It was Halloween and they were festive and funny and posed for pictures... Spidermanwas our waiter and he was hilarious 😂.. It was a fun dining experience and the food was hot when it came to the table...
This place is close by and its not so jammed packed so if you want to grab a beer or some food, I think this place will suit your need. I come here once in a while and always get a table within 5 to 10 min.
Decent food, Wonderful server, who fixed my drink, bc she makes good drinks, it was, thank you. Fast service, not crowded, to hot to sit outside, AC pumping inside, outdoor dinning is wonderful on a nice summer night,music and tiki set up, give ambiance, a taller fence/partition would work wonders to cut out the parking Lot view

The worst apple Bees in the Bronx!I was with my family and we wanted to enjoy a meal, however, I encountered the worst customer service from the hostess and manager. I was told that I would there would be a forty five minutes wait time, however, I waited about an hour and half in the cold weather. When I asked the hostess about the wait time, she rolled her eyes at me and turned her back, completely ignoring me or my needs. My children and wife were freezing and hungry as we waited. When I told the manager about his staff the manager did nothing. We left without even consuming a meal.
The servers were plenty nice but the choice of views were of the parking lot or the cemetery & the highway. The food was okay. Typical of Applebees.
My experience there was great. We was seated within 5 minutes. As well as the waitress coming to us within 5 minutes. No complaints about the food. As it was delicious. I would say the drinks we ordered with alcohol could have been stronger. And Im not a big drinker. Just tasted like a fruity sweet drink. But other then that great food excellent service.

Great ambiance. Music was present but not distracting. Staff were attentive. Our waitress Genesis was perfect. She predicted our needs and catered to them without us asking. My only complaint would be that my $25 bourbon steak with mash potatoes meal was a lot smaller in portion size than expected. Also, I didnt taste any bourbon. I felt the need to order an appetizer after the meal and fill up on additional drinks to compensate.
This used to be one of my favorite places. I go there often. I went yesterday and the service was terrible. They served coffee in a cup that looked dirty that you dont wanna drink coffee. All the other foods and drink was poorly made. I am very disappointed that the service quality went down like this.

Our waitress was young & inexperienced. She did not really check on us. We had to ask for bread & she said they served only breadsticks & how many did we want?? There were 3 of us at table. Served my drink only upon my asking for it. Claimed bartender was backed up. Really UNPROFESSIONAL. She got 10% tip from us to send her a message. The 3 of us come from the restaurant industry & know how it should be done. Food was good.

Service was very disappointing. It took 25 minutes to get our appetizer and then another 30 minutes for our meal. The both in front of ours sat 15 mins after us and got their meal way before us. Waitress drops drink and splatters everywhere even reaching out towards my leg and coat. Food was room temperature warm coming from the kitchen and meal comes with bread stick because its an Italian dish and she forgets it and later brings it when we are done with our meal, which we took home. Over all bad experience. Will not return to that location.

Drinks are cheap and sweet if you get the specials on Fridays. The bartenders are slow though, order two at a time if you want, because you wont see them back for a while, the bartender came to the register which was near where we sat at the bar, saw us empty and never ask if we want refills. And then if you get mixed drinks, takes a while for them to prepare it. They need a better system.
The waitresses are really pleasant and are the most redeeming quality of this place but the wait times are consistently and inexcusably long. Are they understaffed? Is the kitchen and/or bar understaffed? There is a complete lack of organization from the host that sits you who seemingly forgot to tell someone a new table had arrived. Just to be sure it wasnt just me I looked around and noticed multiple other people at their tables visibly frustrated at the lack of attention they were receiving. The food is what youd expect but this place could benefit from an experienced manager who helps keep everyone functioning how they should.

I went twice to this location. The first time I went they didnt have anything I ordered because the waitress told me that the food shipment didnt come. When I did order, one hour past and didnt get my food. The waitress was avoiding us so I just left. I decided to give it a second chance. This time the table was extremely sticky and the food was over cooked. Basically, Applebees quality has dropped dramatically. Youll be better off going to a cornerback store and ordering a sandwich.

Worse experience EVER! I usually make this my “Go To” Applebee’s. I drive from far just to come eat at this one and today was horrible. Waitress was sweet but she was beyond lost with everything. My steak was not Medium it was surely Well to Well done. I couldn’t even ask for a replacement because she obviously would have messed that up as well plus I wouldn’t have been able to eat with my family.
This restaurant is very well kept. The bathroom is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The food can be presented a little better and quicker. On a couple of occasions the food came out cold,but the waitress took care of it quickly. Work in progress I guess?!?

Went on a sunday and plenty of seating was available. I was still asked to wait 15 to 20 minutes .I did not understand why. After iWas seated it took another 20 min for orders to be taken ... Got the 2 for 22 blackened tilapia with red potatoes and broccoli. The only good thing on my plate was the cold potatoes...not the old, under cooked , and brown broccoli or the over cooked and dry fish with way to much black pepper. The only truly enjoyable item was my beer. This space should be put to better use....even the waiters feel bad when you order food here! 👎
The food wasnt that great. I remember Applebees being better in the past but I guess its changed a lot. The service was OK but the restaurant was absolutely filthy. The table was sticky and the floors looked like they had never been vacuumed. Everything had a film on it like they had been using dirty rags to wipe down. Also smelled bad. Definitely not dining here again.

Ordered a 12 oz sirloin with garlic mash and steamed broccoli. The broccoli was lightly steamed with absolutely no type of seasoning to it at all. The garlic potatoes had absolutely no butter at all. The steak... I ordered it medium and I received it not medium at all. It was very rubbery and was not tasty at all.Bright red Blood was coming out of it so I decided to not eat anymore due to this. I am going to speak with the manager concerning this because this food was awful.Update:Spoke to manager Anthony and he removed the steak from my bill. He also told me to get his attention and he’ll make my steak personally.
The destination is awesome. Low key and not too crowded which was great. Unfortunately, the restaurant was under staffed. Our waitress was doing 3 different things, running around like a chicken with her head cut off. The food was not very tasteful like other apples bees; my burger was under cooked, my milkshake tasted spoiled. Due to the the waitress running around I didn’t even bother addressing it, the waitress seen I was devestated and brought the manager over anyway. The manager asked if I wanted another burger, I informed him I didn’t want to be “that person” and it’s okay. The manager took off the burger from the bill. Although progress is still needed, the staff is very considerate.
Went to eat yesterday at the outdoor eating at applebees.The good. The food was delicious.The bad. Service was aweful. Before even ordering our food 3 different employees brought food to our table. 3 times had to say we did not order our food.It was at least 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our order.Your sound system was aweful. Cutting in and out. Plus it was so loud we had to yell to the waiter so he can here us. Plus wearing masks muffles your voice. Not blaming wearing mask on applebees.

First off if you go to this location your not liable to get a decent seat, I was brought to three different tables by the host.The seats are covered with tape patching up the ripes in the chairs.My Caesar salad had no croutons and was made of old tarnished lettuce barley any dressing and a pinch of cheese!My steak which I asked to be well done was very rare I had to wait 23 minutes for another one.
Went to this location for the very first time n I must say it was great. I didnt enjoy the food that much but the drinks were great and my hostess Brittney was so friendly and patient. Even the manager was wonderful checking on us to see if we enjoying.... I will definitely be coming back to this place next weekend. Its a great location and great chill out spot
The server (Yvette) was great. But, one plate of ribs had to be returned for being dry and hard. The food wasnt hot. A bowl of soup had to be reheated and as opposed to sending it back again, we just didnt bother. The Impossible Burger will never be ordered from there again. One thing that should have been and was expected wad the special $1.00 Blue Hawaiian Long Island Tea...it should be called a bag of sugar. It all appeared they were limited on workers. They didnt even have lemons...the server was asked why wouldnt a Manager send someone right to Target as few steps away to buy a bunch of lemons....we had to settle with limes.Again, the server, Yvette was very pleasant and aided in us getting through the unpleasant experience.
Last chance! We waited more than 15 minutes after we were seated to be acknowledged at the table. Entrees were terrible, actually sent mine back in exchange for a cold french onion soup. The restaurant was also a little cold and drafty when the heat stopped blowing. I went there for some comfort food and left hungry and thirsty because the waiter didnt even bother to ask if we wanted to refill our drinks. I work too hard to waste my money like that. The chicken quesadilla and spinach/artichoke dip was good. Even though come to think of it the spinach dip was missing the cheese. I actually drove to that restaurant because they were doing well for a while .The Applebees closer to my home is also bad . I really have to stay home and start cooking.

I wish I could rate this a -1 Star! Horrible customer service. I sat down and ordered a drink while waiting for my food. My appetizer came then a little later my damn meal came in a to go bag!! Four of the waiters looked confused as if they didn’t know what was going on. The bartender by the Name manisha was too busy flirting with every guy Instead of making sure our drinks came and food was correct. I WOULDN’T WASTE MY TIME TO GO BACK.
I went to this place Oct 4th with my boyfriend... first I want to start by saying its not all bad. The staff is very friendly. The service was great!! Our main course took a little longer then usual but thats OK cause we were still digesting the appetizers. While we were eating I felt a pinch nothing serious so I brushed it off. As I got in my car I couldnt help but scratch. In the back of my mind something told me what it could have been. Once I woke up the next morning these 3 bites were incredibly swollen and itchy😣😣 I dont care how good this place may be they have bed bugs. Its definitely something u dont want to be around or take to your home. I do not recommend anyone to go to this place under any circumstances 👎🖓And I really hope these bugs didnt travel with me into my car or home. Please do not place yourself into these situations no food or service is worth it!!!
I changed my mind from steak to shrimp, yet I received the shrimp with the sides I wanted with the steak, I let it go. Then I waited 15mins for utensils after I received my food, the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. So gross!! The service was horrible waited too long for any lil thing requested, the whole time the server kept scratching her head it was disgusting! For a chain restaurant its a shame they dont have better service or at least better quality of food.

Food was ok. But why did I have to stand there for 5mins to be seated since there was no hostess in the front meanwhile a waitress looked dead at us and kept walking and said nothing? Great hospitality. Not to mention that she ended up being our waitress and messed the order up to cap it off. Seriously dont bother with this Applebees. I never write reviews either. Should have known better since the one other time I went there I had to eat my soup with a long ass Sunday spoon since all the other spoons were dirty. Really?
I just had dinner with my family here and one of my cousins got her chicken under cooked. Not only did we get a personal apology from the manager but he told us he was personally going to cook her meal to ensure it was thoroughly cooked. In addition, he also gave her a free appetizer. It was the best experience in an Applebees Ive ever had
I must say I am not an Applebees fan at all. I only went here because my kids wanted to. First the hosted open the doors for us. After begin shown to our table our server Tyson T immediately came with water for my and water for my kids in kids cup. He was very helpful with the menu even suggesting a better price point for a dish I has ordering. Once our food came out my daughter needed to use the bathroom when we returned our food was covered. (They have never done that for me in any restaurant). Before I even asked he had brought out take home boxes. This hands down has been my best Applebees experience and it was all the service of Tyson. Thank you Tyson T and I hope this message gets to you.Oh and on the way out they open the doors for us also
I dined here two years ago when it opened and everything was absolutely perfect; food was delicious and the staff was top notch.However, my last visit was something to forget; my server seemed like she was never trained and the food was so bland I could not finish it. It may be a while before I try Applebees again.
This is the absolute worse place to eat. After waiting 45 mins to be seated not because the restaurant was full. The tables were dirty because they didnt have a bus boy. The entire time I did not see one manager to clean table. I told the hosted why wasnt the manager cleaning the table and she said it was he said it not his job. So we sit to eat and I ordered a Mac and cheese for my daughter and they bring out linguini for a 3 year old because they didnt have Mac and cheese.I order ribs and when I get my food the ribs look old and dry. When I try to cut into it with a knife I couldnt cut the meat off the ribs. Please avoid at all cost. Trust me you can get a better deal at a fast food joint.
We enjoy this place as it close to my girlfriends home in the Bronx. We think the burgers are great. The manager Nicole is very warm. Th hr service ranges from great to weak. We will continue to go based on value and atmosphere.
Good job at social distancing how ever my appetizer plate that I received in a plastic wrap is dirty. There are green gooey stains on it. My utensils are also filthy very disappointed. Never coming back here again.
My last experience made me unsure about Applebees dining experience, it might be a 50/50 chance that Im going to have a good experience. Sometimes the food is cooked properly sometimes its not. If I see a certain Manger there I feel relieved. Sometimes the hostess is serving food too. Too many employees doing nothing while other employees are doing too many jobs!
I went here last week with my family. The hostess was serving food,hosting and cleaning. She sat us at a wet table, that was just finished being cleaned except underneath the table. We asked can she have someone clean under the table, I guess there was no bus boy because she came to clean but it was so much food she couldnt get everything. I just got super annoyed and disgusted so we left. There was a big hole in our seat anyways smh. Kudos to the hostess/waitress/busboy, but shame on the manager for being under staffed on a weekend. It sucks that only the bronx customer service is horrible. She was great. I wish I knew her name.
Location perfect - love the way restaurant display enough room to move around - food tasted fresh made and delicious - alot of menus choices meant combined menus 2 for 22 dollars in case you want to split with a friend. Service was ausgezeichnet. Recommend anyone to give a try wont be disappointed.

Typical of any Applebee’s, there is not much accountability for customer service when it comes to the length of time it takes to receive your order. Adding to my review.... almost 40 minute wait and no salad yet. Wondering how long it’s gonna take to receive my entrée, I probably won’t be hungry by then. The restaurant is only 1/3 crowded.

The service was fairly quick. The food was okay but it was not served got although the plates were. Fairly large with allot of seating. There was no wait to be seated which is always a plus. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. The staff was friendly enough.

Today, March 19, 2018, I went to the Throggs Neck Applebee’s to celebrate lunch with my family. I would like to add we frequent this location often but during peak hours.The waitress, Lousita “Lucy,” barely came to the table. Half the orders were cooked well but the other half were not. The chicken was undercooked for dishes and then replaced; however, the replacements were not seasoned. Because we couldn’t access Lucy, we asked the host to bring a manager. He had an attitude but said he’d let the manager know.After 45 minutes of waiting (oh and Lucy didn’t come back to the table), we noticed the manager Jose Valdez assisting another table. My husband had to get up and ask Mr. Valdez to return to the table to discuss the poor service and poor food quality preparation. Mr. Valdez failed to make eye contact. Then came with a compensated receipt that wasn’t even the correct items purchased. So the receipt was not adequately compensated and the complaint was not addressed. We paid the bill because we simply could not waste anymore time in the restaurant.We will be contacting corporate and the franchise owner with a detailed complaint and copies of the different receipts. This complaint was written to advise potential patrons to visit during peak hours when the restaurant has it’s A-team on staff or to go to the Applebee’s in the Hutchinson Metro Center. It always exemplifies professionalism and courtesy.

Friendly service, clean beautiful ambiance. I like this one better than any other Ive been too. Great location off the highway. A little confusing to get to though if you donr have a sense of direction. They should put more signs leading from the highway.

Worst experience that Ive ever had at Applebees. The waitress had two tables, and decided that flirting with someone at the bar was more important than taking our order. It took 20 minutes before she even came to take our drink order, and then took another 10 minutes to just get the drinks. Im a huge fan of Applebees restaurants, but the service at this one in particular was absolutely atrocious. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone going out for a bite to eat later on in the evening.
Service was beyond the worst its ever been there. First, me and a friend came and asked to sit at a barside table and were denied because they were reserved for a larger party that didnt even exist at the moment!! We sat at the bar and got our drinks 20 minutes after asking for them, and the food came pretty damn late as well. I had asked for a zesty chicken sandwich with only lettuce, pickles and onions, just no mayo and no tomato. Why does it come out with absolutely nothing on it and the fries all wilted and cold already? I told the server all I said was no mayo no tomato but everything else yes. She comes back with it with only one slab of tomato on it. After almost losing my mind for a minute, it came back accurate but still not enticing. After that I vowed that applebees is without a doubt inept and going down the toilet really fast.
I give this location a chance time and time again and they always disappoint in some form or another. Inattentive staff, wait times are always ridiculous no matter the time of day, and food quality is a hit or miss most of the time. I can definitely say I won’t be dining here again.
This place cant handle regular customers while handling big parties. They ran out of food by 6pm on a Sunday night! No mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or baked potatoes and they barely had any french fries! The servers were inattentive, there was no communication between the kitchen and managers. For all this, we waited 50 minutes. Every time I come here, the steaks have been sub par and tonight, they were full of fat.The past 4 times were okay, but this time ruined it for everything. Never again!!!!!!!!!!
Come Early !!!! Gets packed on weekends early as 4pm. Wide variety of food with lots of specials. Plenty of parking. Lots of tables but could take a while to get seated. Food is tasty, served warm. Service is courteous but could be slow if crowded.
Customer service was lousy. 1/2 before they served me appetizers. Then another 45 minutes before the food came. No cutting utensils. Not a lot of customers and the wait to sit was extremely long. Not satisfied at all.
Usually go there during the day for lunch and was awesome... Tonight on the other hand was absolutely horrible my waitress only came every 25-30 minutes to see what we needed. I had to walk over to the bar and asked if our drinks were ready... my niece waited 30 minutes for juice and never brought plates for our appetizers had to keep reaching over... I think Ill just stay away from the Applebees in throggs neck.
Love this Applebees!!! Staff is wonderful. Always makes you feel welcomed. Food always hot!!! Never an issue with anything. Management always available for compliments or complaints. My favorite Applebees by far!!!
If you like to spend over an hour waiting for your food and getting overcooked bite sized steak and your salad as dessert, then this is the place for you. Oh yeah dont count on getting your table checked on to see if anyone needs drinks or anything else for that matter.
This was my worst experience I went this location and at the bar ordered my two for $30 special from the young lady at the bar I then waited one hour and still did not receive anything after explain to the young lady that I would like to have my money back the manager came over and stated all its coming out now tell them no its OK. He then just walked off didnt show any care or concern I would never go back to Applebees again. The laziest employees I ever came across
It was a nightmare, everything we tried to order they were out of, even the alcohol. I finally ordered the bone-in pick chop with bake potatoes and garlic green beans. The meat was tough and dry the potato was crumbly and the beans tough. The manager gave a discount and the waiter was very polite, but I will not be returning.
For the first time ever my wife and I DID NOT tip any of the three that waited on us. Tonight was the worst dinning experience weve encountered, and we only asked for appetizers. We sat at the bar, and received our food not the way we wanted. Not once were we asked if we are fine, neither were we asked if we wanted desert at the end of our meal. Not one of the three checked on us to ask if we were okay. This is the worst Apple Bees that weve ever been in. To top it off, it took us about 20 minutes to pay the bill, I had to grab the hostess from the front to come and help us. So, if you come to this place be prepared for the half ass service.
I have been here quite a few times i enjoy their meals and of course one of the best parts are the appetizers. Also i think if you go during certain periods you can get some discounts and sometimes a two for one deal which works great if you dont eat much and your date is just like you then its saving money.
Frank and Crystal at the Bar are great!!!! They work so hard to get you what you need, I been at other Applebees places but this one is the best one in NYC thanks again to Frank and Crystal, they make you feel at home... comfortable and Great 😊👍, dont go elsewhere and tip them well, they deserve it

The main course was ready before appetizers so the appetizers had to get cancelled...the food was great and I think the service was good on Mothers Day! Waiting time for a table on a holiday was 10 minutes!
Gross, I seriously havent gone back to this place. The food is precooked and prepackaged, they dont make anything fresh. Chef? Chef microwave. One time my bf and I ordered wings... they were SO salty, so we tell the bartender that they were extremely salty and had a funny taste and she says the batch came like that and we asked her what do you mean and she says the company who sent the wings made he batches too salty that all of them are the same.
This was my best Applebess experience. I never look forward to Applebees but actually left happy tonight, and decided to write this review as soon as I got home. First, I love the new kids menu options! Love love love! We decided to do happy hour apps and the new brunch burger which looked great. Our wings were amazing! Super crunchy. And more mozzarella sticks than I remember usually getting. DEFINITELY more than other restaurants. While our burger arrived undercooked, Edwin the Manager was outstanding and made it right. He went above and beyond to correct the situation and we will definitely return. Applesbees has always been average at best, in our opinion; I think we changed our minds tonight. Thanks Edwin! The service is very slow, I waited for almost an hour for my food to come out and then it came out cold, sent it back and finally it comes out hot. The food itself was actually really good but the service makes me not want to come back.

This place deserves no stars at all !Ordered for delivery and when I got my food it was barely anything in the food container for $31. And when I spoke to the person that prepared the food she tells me shell take up my concern with the manager and let him know they need smaller containers. disrespectful!

Went there twice, and will no longer be going. On may 29th i went with my fiance for lunch to this location. My servers name was Jessica and when i went to pay the bill she first gives me the wrong bill. I give her my card to pay and when she asks me to sign i saw 2 different balances. Instead of $40 it was $66, when i asked why she brought me the correct receipt and apologized. I let it go. I even left her a $15 cash tip. Thankfully i kept my receipt, i check my bank statement and see she charged my card $81. So not only did she get a $15 cash tip she got another $15 tip from my card! Ive called the location n the manager gives me another number to call to get reimbursed but nobody answers and im getting the run around. Wile its only $15, its principal. Your servers are supposed to be honest and trustworthy with your cards. Never again. Side note- the appetizer boneless wings i got were cold when they got to my table anyway. Not even worth the trip to this place. Others were also leaving due to wait time on their food.

When placing an order was told they did not have item because they serve it on the summertime. So why put it on the menu. Waitress didnt come by to see if everything was ok until we were finished. This place is not what I expect it to be, the manager is not even doing her job she doesnt care what goes on in the restaurant. There was no body to serve or sit us down, we waited for half an hour for someone to come take our order and nobody came and we left. We wasted our time going to his place I will never go back there. From what I observed the staffs are kinda racist they only served the Hispanic people.
Wait time was good just chicken fingers came super crispy twice probably due to old oil. We were given brown napkins almost like they were bought out of a dollar store and plates were noticeably dirty and greasy for some reason.

I got lettuce and croutons. The container with the sirloin stir fry was damn near empty. I called and spoke with the manager, Chuck. He apologized and offered me to come in for another meal. I will take him up on his offer another day but I ordered delivery because I couldnt go there myself today. Im totally disappointed. I feel robbed. I didnt get what I paid for. Amazing service! Food was great! Peter is an amazinggggg employee! In the hour and a half that I was there I witnessed him take orders, bus tables, make drinks, seat guests, and sweep up floors.

The service was bad and the place was not crowded. We had better luck with the machine to get our orders filled out. The food was salty for no reason and the steak was a little raw. This was not a busy time either so the service could have been better.

Food was mediocre. Services was wack as our order was neglected to be entered into the tablet and forwarded to the kitchen. Manager tried to make up for it with the cheapest appetizer on the menu.

2021-11-03The service was immaculate the waiters and hostess are very friendly and especially attentive. The location doesn’t get too busy so it’s a chill laid back vibe. The music is hip and up to date. The food was delicious and fresh so thanks to the chef. Great location and they offer the 2 for $22 deal which is a bang for your buck. They also have a large outdoor seating area and plenty of parking space.

2022-04-20Ralph took me for my Birthday, after driving over five hours from Upstate New York, I was very hungry, I requested a window booth, because it was snowing, the waiter, his name was Mose. His service was exceptional and the staff even sing and wish me a happy birthday with a slice of chocolate cake. The food was Delicious! as you can see I could not resist capturing the memories. I would recommend this Location anytime and ask for Mose, make sure you give him a good tip too.

2022-04-09I go here quiet often with my boyfriend & his friends & we usually sit in the same area so half the time we have the same server which is Moses absolutely best service every single time we go . Always attentive , Awesome customer service, always a delight to have him as our waiter. Very hard working always moving taken care of multiple people at once and manages it very well .If anyone ever goes there I personally recommend you guys ask for him personally trust me you won’t regret it . One thing that personally made me very upset last night when I went was how the manger that was on shift last on April 8 around 11pm was absolutely unprofessional Moses and him were having a conversation that should have not been had in front of customers should’ve been a private conversation . Not everyone is 100% every single day people are allowed to have off days we’re human not robots. I understand that work is work and you leave you’re personal stuff at the door but that doesn’t excuse that behavior Doesn’t matter who was right or wrong if you are a manager you need to handle things professionally and nothing but that .

2022-04-27Great hangout for our family date nite. Chicken wings (bone in) are really tasty. Get the sauce on the side. Appetizers are always nice and hot. Frank the bartender (Wednesdays) is always on the money. He makes sure you are not forgotten. Just remember, the food is not gourmet, but decent enough.

2022-06-05My experience wasnt that great in the beginning due to the kitchen staff. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich with no cheddar and it came with cheddar. They replaced the sandwich only for it to come with no bacon this time. The manager Eladio was nice and refunded my meal without me asking. The waiter Elias was extremely friendly and helpful as well. Even though the kitchen messed up the front end staff kept exceptional service going!!!! Thank you!!

2021-07-29Happy hour drinks had no liquor, molten lava meltdown cake had MELTED vanilla ice cream...more like vanilla milk shake. We never touched it and had it taken off our bill. We dont know how many times the waiter said, sorry about that maybe a dozen times. And the place wasnt busy at all.
