Beware trying to get a car service from this train station
Very convenient, although a bit shabby. The platform and elevator clean but steps had feces. Long wait for bus,so, if you dont have a car, be ready for long wait.
Not much protection from the elements. Rough in the hot summers, even worse in the cold winters. Convenient location. Ample parking thats free on weekends. Beautiful view of the Hudson River. Regular schedule usually stuck to with few delays. Easy to use machines for ticketing and parking. Safe area.
I found out you must park in spaces that have numbers if you dont already have a parking pass. If you get there after 10am, you can park in any space, with or without numbers, and then you can pay at the kiosk. I couldnt pay at the kiosk so I got a notice on my windshield when I returned. I could easily pay the ticket on line and it was a $20 fee. Lesson learned, however, I may never get back to do it the right way.

Had a great trip to yankee stadium n back. Even though coming back was very crowded . The train was clean n on time. N lived the free parking on the weekends I will ride again at some point
Parking is terrible for morning commute, not enough spaces or you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the train. Not enough heating space in winter and walkway tunnel smells like urine. Otherwise, it gets to me work 🤦🏻♂️

The maintenance in this station is horrible. The station is old it always smell bad. In the summer the bugs are so out of control that one do not want to wait on the platform. The spiders are everywhere and most of them are big. When it rain the entrance of the station has water leaks everywhere. This is the worse station it doesnt even deserve one star. Harlem 125st. Is 3 times better then Beacon. In the five years l been taking the train at Beacon it has not improved. I hate the condition of Beacon train station.
The blue line (Hudson velley) needs an upgrade there is only 1 restroom, 2 at the most. And only one electric wall outlet on the entire train. Also the train ride is pretty bumpy and loud. Please do something- it seems that the train fare continues to increase bot what are you spending the $$$ on?PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!
Great views, plenty of seating. Stairs to the track are a bit steep, if you have any problems walking

Bought ticket waited for 90 minutes no train showed up I ended up driving to make my appointment... still have the tickets because none was there to get any information.. terrible experience
Beautiful view. Steps to the ferry, local bus routes, or taxi pick up. Fairly safe location.
It has a convenient store up on the tracks which is nice but there is no bathroom until you get on the train.
Lots of taxis outside ordering a uber from here is sometimes long but its a trainstation... good thing is they have a heating box so in the cold winter months u can stay warm also has a lil snack shop on the platform

Shame on the upkeep of this area such a bad first impression on a beautiful town.. the post office is also lacking a good trim of her front garden :)
Beautiful town and the train conveniently goes close to downtown. There are a few restaurants and a cool bar and grill right there.
Parking is easy and affordable. The trains are frequent. Will use again when needed.
Love the heated booth while waiting for the train. But its no human contact to buy tixs or ask questions.

Really need to clean this station. Especially the “tunnel” to tracks. It smells horrible and this has been this way for years! If you can not fix, build above track ramps

2 Tracks, an underpass and 2 overpasses make it easy to get around. Central to Beacon and right on the waterfront.

A question to the users, the train goes directly to the big central station, so you have to transfer, thanks in advance
I thought it was a big station but I was disappointed. A small one but at least it has a shop where you can buy breakfast or a snack. The train is widely used in New York to move to the periphery. We took the train from the Grand Station. Quite comfortable and fast.
To pay for parking in the application, they ask for the space number but it does not exist physically

2022-05-22Nice ride to city. Paid parking available, may be difficult to find spots on weekdays because of commuters. Best to show up 20 minute early to pay for parking and grab ticket.

2021-06-23Station is functional, utilitarian. The below street level tunnel for ingress/egress to platform is not pleasant. Whats great is the family of birds nesting in the rafters of the station.

2020-12-23Quick trip out of the city to the mountains then back again. Grateful for the platform elevator because there a lot of steps here. Windy platform and no ticket machines or personnel. Some platform seating.
