Positive: The gentleman that checked us in was very kind. It was close to the casino Negative: We booked 2 rooms and both were very dirty. The showers looked like they hadn¿t been cleaned in months. There were clumps of dirt on the floor in one room and a gummy bear and Qtips in the other. There was sticky spots on the tabletops and all very dus
So theres no housekeeping service if you stay more than one night but they dont tell you that until you ask the right person at the desk. The night shift desk worker is rude and makes up answers since he doesnt know much. We found trash from a previous guest in a drawer, the clock cannot be plugged in. Dreadful breakfast of the cheapest kind. The woman at the desk every day we were there was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Recently remodeled (07-21) so everything feels clean and nice. Not the fanciest hotel youll stay at. The price, quality and service all adds up to a great one night stay. The pool room was incredibly hot and humid, fairly common for an indoor pool; it was hotter than normal though. The pool water is pleasantly cool but not too cold. Hot tub was a slightly funky color but that might be because of the tile color. The only thing I have to really complain about is they didnt have extra pillows on hand for the pull out sofa. It was post covid and their reasoning was people have been stealing them. Our room was clean and orderly and the bathrooms were nearly spotless.
Very little complaints about this place. Restroom smelled kind of mildewy but was pretty clean, you could see some defects in the wallpaper. The ac didnt have an auto function to keep at a certain temp which was a bit annoying but other than that very clean and nice, nice staff
My family found a old sock in the closet! And the manager is very rude and he said that my children were walking down the Halls and he said that they can’t because they were bored and he said that they cant and he said that they were running when he came up to our room... and they were walking and made them Cry!! Bad review and they walls were leaking and the other reviews were family friendly and our stay was very bad.. I rate this a very bad... it should be called the WORST wester not the best western
The staff is very friendly they go out of there way to make sure your well taken care of.The pool and hot tub are open. They serve breakfast in the lobby. I would recommend this place to anyone to enjoy there vacation theres lots to do around the area great restaurants like Alexs Steak and seafood place, Sport of Kings.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We arrived at 7pm and our room was still not ready and we had to wait until almost 8pm. The room had an odor and the next morning we discovered our mattress had a urine stain at the bottom and thats where the odor was coming from. The breakfast area was not attended to and was empty.
The beds are like the main attraction of hotels and these were miserable. The pillows were fine. Theres a lot of options in terms of storage in the room so that was a plus. Housekeeping is a bit inconvenient (you have to ask due to covid restrictions) but overall alright experience. Cant give five stars because those beds suck. And the sheets are paper thin.
Id do 0 or negative stars if I had the option!!!!!! Price not worth it!!! Smells musty and moldy, needs updating. Reception wasnt very welcoming seemed like watching TV was more important than checking us in. We had no tv reception entire time there with no explanation or apologies when inquiring about it, also never how our stay was. Continental breakfast sucked, went and got breakfast elsewhere. Stay anywhere else if possible.
Positive: Easy check in and out. Negative: My room 217 was right outside a Tractor Trailer parking area. One or two of them cranked up their engines around two in the morning and idled for 30 to 45 minutes. I was woken by the sound and unable to go back to sleep for the night. No other complaints
Positive: The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Negative: I left a day early, it was due to the kids running around, up and down the hallway. They were banging on my wall. Yelling and screaming from the room next to mine. The parents should of had better control over them I feel.
We were not happy with the cleaneness , there was hair stuck in blow dryer. The mirror was not washed. Cobwebs strung on the bathroom lights, and mold in corner of bathroom ceiling. Pool was cold also had 6 unsupervised younger guest that resulted in them taking up the entire pool. My children could not even swim . it ruined their stay as well.
Staff is friendly and did not become offended when I stood in the lobby and searched for the deal Google advertised. Actually encouraged me to book online for the discounted rate. Room was freezing (warmed eventually), and water was not hot (great for kids though). Bathroom had peeling wallpaper above the shower walls and beginnings of mold underneath. Signs of renovation were evident throughout the hotel though so Im assuming they know and will be cleaning that up soon. Beds were comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast was very welcome (egg patties and sausage links), even though the waffle machine was in disrepair. Great carb selection.
Amazing staff especially, Kirk Thompson, who did above to beyond to help since many restaurants etc are closed in this area early. Very positive and polite gentleman. Rooms are simply stunning! Look like recent remodeling was done. Mini fridge, microwave, tv, closet, e.t.c in these rooms. But the bathrooms are some of the best I have ever seen. Water pressure was a little on the low side but it was not even an issue with all the other positives. Will stay here again for sure! Close to food, shopping, etc. Again, if you get to meet Kirk, who was working the night shift give this employee a raise as he is exactly what should represent your hotels!
Overall great! Clean, updated, and employees were friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The only complaint I have was how early they began to clean. Employees started cleaning services (involving opening/shutting doors, vacuuming, talking to their coworkers, etc.) at 8:30/9:00AM on a Sunday -- check out isnt until 11:00AM. Wouldve appreciated a quieter morning experience.
Our 1st vacation in 2 years. My husband worked for Hilton for 17 years, and they lost our loyalty. Decided to start fresh, and after researching,we chose this Best Western. Very happy with our entire stay. Room was very spacious and clean. Front desk,Sandra, was very friendly and helped book our next stay..,and the free breakfast was AWESOME.
Refurbishing entire building currently. My room was completed, and lloked very nice, other rooms are in construction mode, and could be seen from hallway. Smaller exercise room, but had basic equipment and treadmill. Swimming pool and hot tub were being used by another group of people, so could not personally evaluate. And the breakfast lounge was good. Employees were personable to boot too.
My family gathered in the breakfast nook to celebrate my great nieces birthday. We had full access to the kitchenette area, which was convenient to keep ice cream and other perishables cold. We then all went swimming and sat in the spa. The rooms were very nice as well. We cant wait to come again!
Stopped here just for a night while passing through back to Pittsburgh. Check in was quick and pleasant, hotel is in a safe area just off the highway with a convenience store within walking distance. The room was very clean and comfortable, no problems at all. Free breakfast is included and consists of the usual expected items, although my girlfriend got a bagel and it was molded! Aside from that this was a nice hotel and we would stay again!
I was extremely pleased with this hotel, especially after reading a bad review elsewhere. My room was clean and neat, and the breakfast was exceptionally good. It was as good or better than any hotel breakfast I have ever had, even at very expensive hotels.compared to other hotels I have stayed at on a long coast-to-coast drive. this was one of the best.I did have a broken chair, but I can;t complain, because I did not report it and they did not have an opportunity to replace it.Also, there was one dirty window on the outer door by the exercise room--which was very dirty, but everything else was very clean--I am guessing a bunch of kids were messing with the door after it had been cleaned.
Honestly my worst hotel stay ever. We booked 2 rooms. The first problem was one room was not cleaned from last stay, thought I walked into the wrong room. They gave us a different room, the window was wide open with no screen and there was at least one mosquito in the room. Our friends in that room opened the fridge and there were some old leftovers in it that smelled so bad that one of the kids vomited. Went to the desk to complain and they told us the smell was not from the fridge but from the vomit!Should have left then but they moved to another room. In the morning the friends went to shower and the shower looked like it hadnt been cleaned, so we left a day earlier than planned and went to a different hotel. The pool area was FILTHY. It was a hot and humid day and there was no air conditioning in the breakfast area. I watched a older woman dripping sweat. We booked the rooms and felt so bad for our friends that we refused to let them pay us back and asked for at least a discount. they gave me the owners phone # and he argued that there was nothing wrong, like we should have checked the shower for hair before we went to sleep. He finally agreed to refund a small portion of the fee but when he did it was only half of what he promised. We travel a lot and never had a stay like this. It even seems unbelievable to me as I write this.
Although the facilities in general seem to be clean and the evening staff, Sarah, was friendly and helpful, the day staff was not only allowing people to occupy the public spaces of the hotel without wearing masks, but the man at the front desk was himself not wearing a mask. The hotel also still has a bible and a binder in the room despite the fact that they cant be sanitized. This hotel advertised itself as following all of the Covid-19 protocols, but the ones its clear they arent following make me worried about the ones they might only be appearing to follow. Update: We tried to call Best Westerns customer service, but after a short discussion during which they said they would call back, we didnt hear from them again.
To be fair this is not a 4 or 5 star priced hotel. It is inexpensive and allows pets. But with that said we were happy with our overnight stay. Clean room, friendly staff, hot shower, comfy bed....pretty much what youre looking for when traveling. We were pleased and the puppy was happy too. Wed stay again if passing through. 👍🐕
There was a standard decent breakfast in the morning. Generally speaking though, the staff was not very friendly, our room had not thoroughly been cleaned (old takeout boxes in the room, coffee grounds still in the coffee maker, stains on the sheets), and the pool area had so much cholrine that it made my eyes hurt without even going in the water.
Very nice experience during our one night stay recently. Was quiet and beds were comfortable and clean. Overall the hotel itself seemed well maintained. The pool and especially the hot tub/spa were great and seemed very clean. Spa was large so not crowded at all. You could relax in it with either the jets on or off. Staff was average. Not overly friendly but professional. Free breakfast was good. Large variety of breads with a toaster there. Egg and sausage patties were also available to make breakfast sandwiches with. Sausage was VERY thin but tasty. They had a waffle maker and fresh fruit also. Free coffee/tea were available 24/7 in the breakfast area. There was no Do not disturb card available to hang on door which made me a little uncomfortable taking a nap. I was afraid I would not hear housekeeping and they would walk in while I was sleeping. Other than that I felt safe and secure in the hotel (and it helps that the Sheriff Department is located just down the road!) Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again if the need arises in the future. :-)
ZERO STAR REVIEW!! We stayed here 2 nights for a wrestling tournament in Attica. We only stayed here because on our flyer for the tournament recommended this hotel. This hotel was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. There was a dirty washcloth that had food on it underneath our freshly prepared bed. I walked down to the front desk and explained to them what happend. The lady told me that she was the only one working and that she would have fresh beddings in a minute at the desk. We went to dinner and came back and while we approached the packed parking lot, I watched the same girl get on the casino bus. No biggie right, her shift is over. I walk back in and talk to the young man at the desk and ask to have my sheets and he had no idea what I was talking about. He immediately went and got me everything I needed, so THANK YOU TO THE YOUNG MAN FOR ACCOMMODATING ME!!! Needless to say, the girl that I patiently approached gave zero concern that my bed was not clean. The house keepers DO NOT care to do their job and I will never stay here again, or even refer anyone to this hotel!!!
When we checked in our room had been given to someone else. We were put in a room that had not been cleaned after having maintenance. We were moved the next day but not offered any compensation for a nasty room. Breakfast isnt bad but if you are diabetic there Are not many healthy choices. Fitness room had an odor to it.
Great location, just off the thruway. Jacuzzi Room was very nice -- nice bed, refrigerator, microwave, excellent quality TV with huge variety of channels, pull out sofa sleeper, awesome jacuzzi. Two minor comments -- didnt have shampoo in the room (oversight), and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Otherwise, nice place
We were going on a 10 hr trip and left late the prior night and around midnight we decided to spend the night at a passing-hotel. We called about 5 different ones, and either they had no rooms available (it was not a holiday weekend) or their rates were outrageous and much higher than their website showed. We were ready to give up hope but decided to give best western a call. The receptionist was very pleasant and booked us a room immediately, at a very reasonable rate. We were genuinely impressed by the clean, modern rooms and fast wifi. All in all, great customer service and amenities. We were able to get a good nights rest and continue our trip.
Its okay. Basically you get what you pay for here. Its clean. We had to use a fan app on your phone to drown out the noise from upstairs (we called the front desk at 11pm but nothing seemed to be done about it). The breakfast was LAME. Grab and go consisted of a brown bag with a bottle of water, a great value or and granola bar, and a little debbie danish...oh and a tiny apple. Literally under a $1 to put that together. No tub in the bathroom...but the shower was decent and clean.
Its your typical low end hotel you get what you pay for it was clean nice showers but low water pressure and the bed was way to soft I woke with my back killing me and if you do stay here try to request a room on the west side of the building or your going to hear semi trucks run all night long
Follow up from prior review everything was sorted out and have still stayed here sense and the staff is still very friendly to me stay here every week for work nice area rooms beds bathrooms pool all that Jazz a lot of stores really close perfect if your working in the area :D
A Great Place to stay when in the Batavia, NY area. The Staff was always very helpful and friendly. They would go out of their way to help with any questions you may have. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was enough to keep you going until lunch time. Ours was a short stay just passing through the area but we would have loved to stay there longer. We will be back again.
We were woken up at 12:30am by a phone call on the hotel phone! Also the bathroom has mold and the wallpaper is coming off. The shower head only has 3 settings, none of which were strong enough to successfully rinse the shampoo from my hair. The AC unit sounded like a tractor trailer every time the compressor kicked on. It sure made a lot of noise but it hardly made any cool air. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. I kept rolling towards my boyfriend because the mattress was like a taco. The people in the room next to us had a yapping dog.
We stayed here on a Tuesday night on our way home from Ohio and we were pretty pleased with getting a King Suite for $99!! After looking at hotels in Erie PA and Buffalo, this was the best deal we could find that included free breakfast. The room was clean, very spacious, decked out with a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, desk, couch, etc., shower had good water pressure, and the bed/pillows were very comfy. There wasnt any shampoo in the bathroom, but we were able to get some from the front desk. However, I had to knock off a star because the breakfast was a bit disappointing. While we appreciated having a hot breakfast, the eggs were pre-cooked over-hard instead of scrambled and were pretty rubbery, the Belgium waffles were really dry, and the variety of fresh fruit was a couple apples, green bananas, and bruised oranges. Other than that, compared to the other hotels in the area, we were still pretty happy with our stay!
Very nice place for a nice price. The bad part was the pool area. The pool was cloudy and smelled. The hot tub was overcome with soap suds. It was the least amount of time that I have ever spent in a pool and hot tub. If youre not going to use the pool area, then the place is great. Really nice rooms!
The staff was not very friendly, we were there for 2 nights when we left the first night we asked the staff to clean out room, they say they can’t do that because the cleaner only work in the mornings. I suggested could we have a different room instead, staff stated they can’t do that because they can’t do a sale that way. If we wanted to change to another room then we needed to pay again they say even though we paid for 2 nights there they sure got balls. There is no HBO or premium channel services and the carpets seems like they never clean them. You can even feel the dust mites bite you. You are guaranteed to cough all night not recommended for asthmatic people. I give it a solid zero.
If I’m capable of giving less then one star I would’ve gave them - 5 . The staff was really nice and helpful but unfortunately the management wasn’t. What happened was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional from the manger who hasn’t not contacted me till this moment. I checked in and left to get lunch, came back to my room ate my lunch, covered the left overs and left them on the table. “Keep in mind the food was in a closed box” Then i left my room for the day and returned at night to find a colony of ants all over the food, table, bed , closet and inside of my bags. Apparently there was a hole inside the closet big enough for them to go through. My brother changed his clothes at that point before we knew they were in our bags and he got ant bites all over his body. “There are some pictures below! “The staff immediately took care of us, moved us to the Motel next door since there were no rooms available in the building where there were price and quality differences just to keep in mind. I couldn’t sleep at all that night after the horrible experience. At check out time i was shocked when the manager left a $30 hotel gift card with the receptionist for the next visit or to use at any other best western!!! They really think I’m coming back? I was on a vacation and it was completely ruined because of what happened! I barely slept , couldn’t follow the schedule i had in mind and i live 300 miles away!! I really expected more than that after what happened and still do! Throwing away all the food, some of my clothes and moving to a cheaper room?! On top of all that i left my number for the management to give me a call back to discuss the situation and got nothing at all!!All in all, really great staff👍, poor management and no professionalism at all. 👎
Best pool in Batavia. Rooms are clean but in desperate need of upgrade. Breakfast is terrible. Desk staff are rude/Day and night...4/7/18...Returned for overnight tonight. Man at desk is AWESOME! Courteous and eager to assist guests. Major upgrade over the past employees Ive dealt with. He adds a star to my review
This is a yearly family event for us - going shopping in Western New York. For the past 5 years we have been staying at Batavia because of the Best Western there. The staff (the senior most receptionist in particular) has always welcomed us, commented about how they remember our oldest daughter (now 5 years old) when she was just a baby, given us tips for shopping and sharing coupons, and we even just talk about each of our families. We have gone every year because we love the staff here, the free breakfast, and the overall great service. This year they did not recent upgrades with the modern furniture in the lobby and the rooms - looks beautiful. I still liked the charm before the renovation, but I understand the need to make improvements. Great overall stay! Highly recommended especially for the price you pay too!
We went for a weekend get away and were happily surprised at what a wonderful hotel this was. The hot tub and breakfast were great and we loved our room. I would recommend this hotel when staying in Batavia. The price was great for the money. We enjoyed our weekend and they made it special.
Nice room with king bed and sofa sleeper. WiFi is more than fast enough. Cable tv selection is lacking some relatively basic stations but tv was not rotating base which was nice for viewing on sofa or bed. More than enough electrical plugs. Bathroom was clean. Pool and hot tub were nice but could get very crowded. Breakfast was very good for being complimentary. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.
Nobody at the front desk when we arrived to check in. When they finally arrived they were bringing down the next days breakfast items in a laundry cart. Got into the room and found hairs on the pillows. Mini fridge was leaking and not very cold. Ac was off and room was hot. Ac was covered in dust. Side tables were cracked and badly worn. Jacuzzi tub in room, even though I didnt book a room with one, and it was dirty with cracked tiles. Traveling with a 3 year old and didnt want a room with a nasty and unsafe Jacuzzi tub in the middle of it which is why I didnt select the tub option to begin with. Internet signal was horrible. And to top it off the bathroom doors plywood was peeling off and made a very loud popping noise every time we opened it and was difficult to open. Wont be staying here ever again.
Clean. I would have liked a full size pillow with the half pillows, although the half pillows were comfortable. There were no towels in the pool area, so we had to bring one from the room. It would have been nice to have conditioner in addition to the shampoo. Overall, we had a nice stay.
Stayed here for a quick leisure getaway and was very happy overall with this stay. The hotel staff was great. The room was very good - very clean and everything working well. The wireless internet worked flawlessly and the speed was very fast. Looking forward to our next stay here!
Nice location, fast checkin/out, friendly staff.Needs some updating in some rooms.....King Suite on first night was very nice with large walkin shower, updated fixtures and super comfortable bed .....Double Queen on second night not so much with standard tub/shower combo, paint patches on ceiling, old fixtures and ok matresses.
Not a first come, first serve breakfast. They just keep refilling everything so everyone can have a hot breakfast when away from home. Free copying and faxing, which is great. Pool and Jacuzzi were both the right temperature. Beautiful inside and out. Staff goes out of there way to help. Loved it here!
Hi this is an update for my last post the hotel supervisor called me and I tried to explain why I was unhappy and that I felt that they should cut my bill down more than what they did because of how filthy our room was and then I had to jump around between them and corporate to try to just get refunded what was promised to me and then the office staff was very rude in the supervisor got real mean when I told him how I felt and he said he wasnt going to do anything and I said well Ill contact corporate again and then he said why dont you contact Joe Biden now what kind of hotel staff treats customers this way do yourself a favor stay away from this hotel
What a nightmare!! After getting moved 3 times in four nights to start off!! First 2 nights were great nice clean rooms and lived our housekeeper! That Friday night when we got switched to the handicap room there was dried poop on the sheet on top of the bed and hair in the shower. Also when you take a shower water goes all over the floor and makes it slippery. Than that Saturday they changed us back up stairs to a different housekeeper. We didnt think much about looking around before we went out to spend our last day and night up in Batavia. We got back around 11 went to the bathroom and pubic hair everywhere and dried soap all over the tub and grease on the tub walls and look behind the bathroom door dirty and grease all over the wall. Not my job was gonna clean it Im the morning before showering was to tired and late night already. So we go to get in bed and moved the cover and sheets and pubic hair all over that bed. I was so made so I went to the front desk nobody was there so O called the front desk and the owner answered I told her I need someone at the front desk asap. Took her about 10 minutes.well in that time another guest came to the front desk. I went off on her. They charged us 170+ dollars per a night to stay in there. Well she came up changed our sheets and wipe to the dried on shampoo on the tub and left everything else. Even though she was one of the owners nothing was taken off our bill even after talking to the front desk in the morning. I even took pictures and didnt do us any good. So be careful staying there make sure you dont catch anything!
The first room we were given, in this non-smoking hotel smelled like cigarettes. We moved ed to a second room that was better. But in the second room, the bathroom sink had a clogged drain. Called the front desk and they didnt have anyone available to fix it until morning, and asked if we wanted to move to another room. Since we were ready to go to sleep, we stayed where we were. It was a one night stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was traveling with my adult special needs son and the check in clerk went out of her way to get us two rooms next to each other, without being asked. The rooms were quiet, the breakfast was good and we had a great end to our vacation - I wish all the hotels we stayed at had been this great.
Unfortunately this was not the best choice for our stay in Batavia. The lobby smells, our room had a very musty smell as well, and the bathroom had a strong urine smell. The toilet seat was broken and the tub an extreamly slow drain. Normally I would discuss with management however in this case I felt the issues were so obvious that they should have known and corrected simply by housekeeping reporting them. I wouldnt stay here again.
No laundry facilities at this location. Staff not helpful nor do they offer suggestions regarding such. One garbage can only outside, located at front entrance of lobby. So if you park in the back and would like to clean out your vehicle drive up front. Key cards do not work on all entrances/exits. Would have been nice if staff knew how to be more welcoming. Perhaps they should attend a seminar regarding such.
Best Western in Batavia is a very clean facility. The staff is what sets this motel apart from the rest. The folks who assisted us were professional, friendly, warm and very helpful: Lorenza, Sue,. Jeny and Cindy. The hot breakfast was far better than the Continental fare usually available at motels. Also, there are accessible accommodations. The only future drawback is that there are plans to replace all tubs with showers. This is not helpful to tired motorists who need hot soaks to restore aching limbs. Also, young children are best not bathed in showers. Hoping that Best Western considers their future plans and leaves at least a few tubs in each facility.
We stopped at BW on our way from RI to Cleveland to visit family with our 16 month old.Pros: Room itself was Clean, easy check-in, and lots of parking.CONS: A Stranger walked into our locked room at 1230 at night because staff checked us into the wrong room. We could not get back into our room in the morning because of confusion with keys. They checked two people into the same room! Imagine being woken up at 1230 in the morning with your 16 month old after bring on the road for 8 hours because a random man walked into your locked hotel room. Needless to say, this mom could not easily fall back asleep. When I asked to speak to the manager in the morning, they said the manager would call us back. Instead, staff called and only offered 10% off. The manager should have called back himself. We stop in Batavia every time we make this drive. We wanted to find our hotel. This was not it.
Nice hotel, but they were remodeling rooms across from me, the hallways. Constant banging and hammering as construction workers were 10ft away. And as they were putting new carpet in literally had to jump across to avoid glue and get to my room. I had to open my room door so remodeling people could do things. Hotel management needs NOT to book rooms in remodeling sections. Very inconsiderate and I was give no warning about it.
I currently work here and Ive also stayed one night here and also in the Lockport BW!!! But I absolutely love this place!! All of my co-workers here are truly amazing!!! We are all pretty much like family here 😃 Its so much fun working with everyone here!! Ive never felt like this at any other job. Im amazed at how much we care about each other and help each other out!! It has been the best experience of my life!! Keep up the good work team!!! And thank you to everyone for everything you do ❤PS. The beds are super comfortable!! It seriously felt like I was floating all night👍👍 Ill be staying again 😀
First room they gave us had a stain on bedspread and a case of empty beer cans in the closet. Front desk clerk immediately moved us to another room. He was very apologetic . This room was freezing and heater was useless .set it at 86 degrees and it was blowing out cool air. I used my blow dryer to try and heat up the room. I would have used blow dryer in bathroom too but that was broken.
Very clean hotel with a friendly staff. The room had new carpet, fresh paint, and a very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast buffet provided a good selection of options. It is a nice quaint hotel right off the interstate and close to shops, restaurants, and the Batavia Downs.

My wife & I stayed at Best Western, 8210 Park Road, Batavia, NY on 7/25/17.It was probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.Room:- Bathroom fan was unusable because it clanked extremely loudly.- Bathroom floor was filthy - dirt around edges & globs in corners.- Bathtub joint with wall was filled with mold.- Bugs in the bathroom - I couldnt take a shower in the morning.- Fitted sheet did not fit the bed - I woke up wrapped in sheet.- Curtains blew out by AC and opened in the middle.- 2 queen beds, but only 1 chair in the room.Breakfast:- Breakfast eggs & sausage were ice cold at 6:00 AM.- Coffee ran out at 6:05 AM!Front desk:- The near bathroom stank & desk agent blushed and said she knew!- Desk agent recorded the problems and said manager would call us.- We never got a call!Dont even think about stopping here.
I would have given negative 5 stars but It won’t let you.I checked in at what seemed like a decent place got the keys and was directed to a different building across the parking lot.Moved the car closer and when we got out the building looked poorly kept but we were tired. Then we opened the door to enter and were greeted by old vending machines that in disarray and a carpet rolled up off to the side. Plus a stench that hit us that was horrible. We got back in the car and gave back the keys and asked for the money to be put back on the card (still waiting 4 days later).Lesson learned the lobby doesn’t always reflect the way the rest of the place is keptWe would never go back
I Would like to say my fiance and I had a wonderful visit, we stayed here because of a professional wrestling show, going on at batavia downs! First Day we met Sara, she helped us out with a room for weekend, and her service was 10 out of 10 , then for breakfast went downstairs met another staff member Sue and she was awesome too! Denise in the kitchen for breakfast she was a respectful, kind person, who was making sure everything was clean and stocked well for Breakfast!! Thank You Best Western, we will deffinately see you again in near future!!
The visit was bad honestly and ruined my whole visit.I get to the hotel where everything seems normal, just to find out the hallway i was staying down is under construction, it just looked awful! What ever i can get passed that. I go into room 124, with a slight garbage smell, i immediately start looking around for whats causing the smell, i was unable to find it so I just sprayed some air freshener. The jet tub ( the reason i bought the room ) was completely filthy, and the buttons were completely broken on it. So after cleaning it myself, i get the thing filled up and got in it, ready to relax. Try relaxing when all you hear are drills , and some hammering. The whole day i felt like someone was outside my door, it was actually really weird. I couldnt Even have some fun with my girlfriend. So i go to the closet and brush everything off where i soon figured out their iron is broken. Soaks EVERYTHING. So what ever i go to the casino for the night. Have a ton of fun and eat dinner and gamble and drink. I get back to the hotel at 2 am with my girlfriend. We both have headaches, so well as you all know hotels always have the good stuff in the vending machines, like advil condoms toothpast toothbrushes... Etc... ITS WAS EMPTY, a few bags of chips.... Alright... I went to bed to be woken up by hammers and drills. Not a good time. Extremely dissapointed. I did not feel like i had a night away.Response - well, a heads up on construction would be appreciated, 100+$ i just dont have often to spend on a luxury. Just because you need to make uprgrades does not mean you need to wake people up with power tools. Waste of money, better off ubering home for 70 $
This place is the worst. The pool is shut down by the health dept, the food is cold and hard to chew, the key cards only work for 1 day (we were there for 6) the room service doesnt change your sheets, they just make the beds and replace tge towels. Do not go here. They are not worth it, even at a cheap price.
If I could rate this place 0 I would. Ive never been so disappointed at Are stay thats only been one night and we have a 2 night stay here. We came in a day early and they gave us a room for tonight. We booked a room a week ago, we went down there this morning to eat breakfast when they told us they booked are room and we have to stay in out room instead of going to the one we originally booked and the room we are currently are in isnt fit for the peiple we have. We went down there to get and extra blanket when they told us they dont have any. I will never come back here again. And not to mention the lady at the front desk is rude:
Pre-booked a month before our arrival. Was told I would get a double queen bed with 2 roll away beds. 1 hr before we arrived I called to confirm the 2 other beds and was told we weren’t able to have 2 rollaway bed as we were told. 8pm at night, here from Intarii canada and no where for 2 if our kids to sleep. GM told us to find a different place to sleep if we didn’t like it...and we did. Save the stress and boo elsewhere.
Hotel itself not bad its the after service. We left some clothes and at this time still attempting to retrieve them. Its been over 2 weeks and have done every thing the people on the phone have asked. Sent a prepaid box included a money order for the large size even though it was a medium box, found out no COD. So the money order went back to them so they could put my laundry in the box and return to me. GEE I think some one there wants my dirty under wear as I still havent gotten it. I asked for a call or email when they got the money order, nothing I called and another excuse no one there to watch desk so they can go to P.O.. sure wish I could have my clothes or so i now need to file a police theft report that they wont return and kept my money order for 18.85. Help I hope someone sees this and
What wonderful staff. They knew I was coming in late and parking in the truck lot so she took the time and shoveled me a pathway to the back door. Next morning my truck broke down so they gave me my room key to wait until the wrecker showed up. Thats service above and beyond.
The lift chair in the pool area was not working (again). This is the second year in a row that we have heard an excuse why it is not working. Last year it was a part was missing or not working. This year it was the battery is not working. My 22 year old daughter who cannot walk could not use the pool after a long drive on a very hot day. All the other young people were enjoying a cool swim. It was heartbreaking. It is NY State law to have access to the disabled population in hotel pools!
The hotel was alright little dirty staff was nice but booked with booking and was told through there that we would get king bed ended up with two Queens and no jacuzzi for same price... when I asked front desk was told I shouldnt have gone with third-party to book and that the price I paid was for queen room. Will not be back!
It was really late at night or should I say early morning. We couldnt find rooms anywhere and the best Western was open and ready to accommodate our group of 9 people. We were more than excited to pay, and since were only staying for a few hours we got discounted rates and free breakfast 👌. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Dont stay in room 111 at Best Western Batavia, woke up with itching on my hand and found 2 bed bugs which I captured and gave to staff on duty...they changed our room, 1am...not fun....next morning found the maid changing the room, they never told her...just gonna give hat room to the next guest. BEWARE, (yes I have photos)

2022-04-04Positive: I liked that it was an easy check on process, and the breakfast was delicious. Also their pool/hot tub area was open til 10 which is later then most hotels and we arrived late so I was glad that inwas still able to sit back and relax before bed. Negative: The rooms were a little small, but not much smaller then the normal hotel room. The hot tub could have been a little warmer but really inwas satisfied with everything.:-)

2022-04-06Spent 1 night at this hotel, king room. The woman that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful also when I was looking for ice. Room was clean and as pictured on the hotel’s website. Included breakfast was as good. The hotel is right off I-90, as you exit the NY Thruway it is straight across the end of the toll exit. We would stay here again.

2021-12-06Not a bad price. It was decent as far as being clean. We lysoled everything but I always check under the beds and such. I was mad though that the one maid (today) told us they dont clean the pillows unless they have too. So I guess that was kinda what made me cringe. We stripped the bed on the way out in case it was the same with sheets. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. But, the lady ( today ) was super judgmental and rude. Breakfast was decent. Its waffles (make sure you ask how to make them, there is a trick), cheese danishes (not that great), bagels werent too bad (but toaster didnt seem to toast), cereal (was a bit messy), oatmeal packets we heated in the microwave in room & drinks were free OJ, apple juice and coffee through the day which was cool. The hot tub was nice but could of been hotter. The kids loved the pool but a lit of chlorine and we learned to check our key card before going to pool. Because on way back we froze to death while the card refused to open (if u stay longer then two days I think this happens). The points are pretty cool though.
