Really great food and nice vibe! Our server was keeping an eye on us and quickly attending to our requests. I never knew Blend had such great food but Im glad I finally tried it!
Went there for my friend’s birthday… I wasn’t disappointed. The food I posted is pretty smaller than it looks (which is okay, if you’re a girl) …so I ate it twice. Everything there is aesthetic and good to look at. They have good music, good dj, good waiters so yes I would recommend 100%.
Beautiful place, Great food , great drinks . Clean , neat with great music . But service was garbage, lazy and nasty blonde. Was 4 of us, she treat us like garbage. Tnx god we have hard work basser otherwise we Gona weit for drink 20 min . Conversation 👎Servise 👎We order 6 beers 2 pina and 2 guacamole but she don’t feel interested.We was feel like we are not welcome here . Probably private problem because Thet she spent all time on phone .We feel bad and we not Gona come back .
Absolutely amazing. The food at Blend is fresh, delicious and authentic. The drinks are also refreshing and delicious. The vibe is nice and the staff are all awesome especially Savannah who is usually my waitress. Highly recommended restaurant. One of my favorites.
Blend is a great spot to meet your friends or family. You’ll have a good time here. Especially this Location in Astoria.The service was excellent, the food delicious and the Mojitos!!! They got better and better as time passed.Definitely a place to go back to.
Out of all locations I think this one is my favorite! The outdoor dining is beautiful! The entire place is super spacious. I came for dinner and everything was great, the service was top notch, the food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and strong! Can’t wait to come back for brunch.
Atmosphere on point, food on point, service up until the check on point. They took forever to bring the check and we also canceled an appetizer but they brought it to us anyway. I wont complain though because it was delicious. We were late for our reservation and they still seated us without a wait even though it was extremely busy. They deserve 5 stars for that alone.
One of my favorite spots in Astoria for latin food. Food never disappoints however service does. They stopped seating tables with reservations after 10pm luckily I had made one online earlier. Even with reservations I waited about 45 minutes to get seated and about another 25 minutes for my order to get taken. Also the menu states that for parties 4 and under you get charged a 18% gratuity in your bill but my party of 3 got charged 20%. So definitely always double check your bill as the service I had that night left me with a sour note.

Small inside but beautiful interior design, good latin food and the drinks was on point..Hanged out with a client of mine at Blend Astoria, and you can never go wrong with the Churasco
Good food, although Id change the lemon butter sauce to garlic ajillo on their marinated chicken breast and certainly switch the white rice to yellow. Unfortunately, the drinks had no flavor just overpowered with alcohol, the contents just werent in great proportion. The atmosphere is nice. The is great for a relatively young crowd, 20s to 40s is definitely their demographic. I wouldnt bring my family there or my parents. Im in my 30s. Service was excellent. Seating with reservations was timely. Id go again, I just would switch some things around if they havent made the changes and Id stay away from the drinks unless my intent is to simply get drunk.
Came here on a rainy Thursday night for ladies night. DJ blaze was amazing. He played amazing music. I wish there was a dance floor though, they need to incorporate that. The interior and atmosphere is very nice. Food here is delicious from what I heard, but only tried the fried calamari and it was good. The red sangria was delicious. Just wow. 5 start servers, fantastic drinks, even the skinny ones, the best empenadas ever, desert was fire, the two chicken dishes were impeccable. The indoor ambiance was trendy, backyard looked like Miami, and outdoor was endless tropical hideaways. One of my top restaurants in NYC now. Good music too. 5 star! Ty for making my friends birthday memorable. ALEXIS YOU ROCK!
We had a horrendous experience at Queens Bully Restaurant- dirty table, dirty drink was served to us and no management to acknowledge their issues, we left - bad first impression. We decide to came here instead and had amazing experience with Marcela R. Everything from start to finish was just WOW. My first time to this Blend being we usually go to the one of the water

Was having an average experience at blend until I found out I had been drinking from an extremely dirty cup with what looks to be mold. Seriously!
Coming here was a hassle during a Friday. If you just walk in, the wait time would be 1-2 hours. The servers were okay, but just seemed to attend people at a slow pace. The place was beautiful though, just gives a nightclub lounge in Manhattan yet with good food
Place looks great but service really sucks.Awful service , seated us and rush to order , we order a round of drinks. Food came out and never checked back on the table, after like 30 mins they came back , we ate without salt. We had to walk to them to ask for things and took and other 30mins to deliver some mimosas. I like the place but they need to improve the service.
Everyday it’s something different with Blend Astoria. Our office used to go there as much as we could (birthdays for example), however, we have decided not to go there anymore. NOW there are only brunch and dinner menus. Since when does brunch end at 4pm? On their website there is a lunch menu that doesn’t exist. Why does rice and beans have to be so complicated? Everytime we call it’s something different and different rules so I’m sure tomorrow it will be something else. We were excited about this place bc it’s Latino owned but now we rather go somewhere else.
EXCELLENT!! Blend has amazing staff, the restaurant itself is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating, and the food was delicious!!! If youre in the area, or not, come to Blend Astoria... Promise you will not be disappointed...
Pésimo servicio … waited 15 minutes then asked the hostess if someone was coming. Finally the waitress came. Took our order and that took another 15 minutes to come out even though it was only wine and a mojito. We only saw the waitress once after that. Definitely wouldn’t go back but I will say the mojito was good and the food looked good. They will need to fix the service to make it worth it.
Came here for lunch with mom on a Friday afternoon. Food was great. The drinks were also good. Had their white sangria. Would also recommend their dulce de leche cheesecake. Loved the music and ambiance. Our server was also really sweet. Unfortunately I didnt get her name.
Food is great. Although the rules they have are ridiculous, I can’t order my food until all my guests get to the table I never experienced that in my life. Also there’s a time limit to when the guests get here so basically I can get 90 minutes for my guests to get there . Why am I being timed? I’m here to eat and have a good time. So the waitress and the front desk did me a favor for letting me sit on a table to wait for my guests also they let me have one appetizer hahahaha. Just great . My guest didn’t take longer then 20mins. Don’t see what’s the issue here . First time and last time Comming here don’t like being treated like that.
Normally when I do come to blend Astoria I have reservations but I came on a Saturday night and they had available seating outside which I had no issue. It’s beautifully decorated and spacious outside. The service was great, drinks were strong (frozen margaritas, piña colada, red sangria). The white sangria is good, not too strong not too weak if you want something smooth and on the rocks. I’ve tried the calamari, it’s really good it has pico de gallo and mangos diced up. One of my favorite appetizers currently is the chicharrón de pollo pinchos. The churrasco is great, and the grilled chicken with the creamy sauce as well. You can easily substitute the sides with no issue as well. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well.
I was really excited to come to this restaurant at first, however, I arrived at 8 PM sat down with my friends, did not even get to order until 915 and waited till about 930 for my drinks to come, and they pretty much watered down on all four drinks I purchased, and my food to be served at 9:45 PM so I waited an hour and 45 minutes to get two small dishes and a plate of plantains. The food was pretty decent three out of five stars however we had to return one dish due to the discrepancy of a plate not being fully washed and tasting like dish soap. The waiter we had was very nice however we had requested more than three times for three glasses of water since 8 pm, we had one water and three straws 😑 Food was very pricey, and I felt bad for the waiters because they probably don’t even make a lot of money so I gave them a tip out of courtesy. Thank you, but I will not be returning unfortunately, and I say that with a heavy heart.
The food and drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was great. Really popular place so make sure to book your reservation. I wouldve given this place 5 stars but we were a party of 3 celebrating a birthday and they didnt have space for us at the time of our reservation so we had to squeeze in a 2 person booth so our table space was pretty tight. Plus our waitress was also really busy with other tables so we had to grab the attention of the bus boys and other waitresses.
Im going to start off by saying WOW . I absolutely love this restaurant . The food is impeccable , the drinks were AMAZING and The great choice of music plus the DJ ! Who could not love this place ?. OMG let me mention my server Savanna she is beyond amazing, very attentive and the great part she knew exactly when I needed another round. She’s is so funny and sweet she kept great conversation on top of having a bunch of tables she checked on us when needed NOBODY likes a server that’s ON TOP of you asking every second if you’re okay. . she is nothing less than Incredible made my experience here The best one ever I’m only coming back for her. When you visit Get a Sangrita ( she informed me that it is a Margarita and a sangria mixed SOOO GOOD )The best drink on the menu and ask for Savanna you won’t be disappointed.
My first time at Blend, cocktails were nice, papa rellena nice flavor but unfortunately the service was Bad. We waited for someone to wait on us, the hostess took order, then a rude waitress also came to take our order and a third waiter also came to the table.
Such a beautiful birthday I had here even when we arrived at 10:30. The food....really good and the birthday treat....out of world😍😍🤩😍The server Diana was incredible too!
My friend and I ate here Saturday (3/5/22) to celebrate my birthday. We made a reservation online, but it did not register in the restaurants system. We presented the confirmation. The hostess told us that we would have to wait for a table when dinner started at 4p.As I stood waiting for my friend to return from the restroom, I observed the hostess preparing to seat people who were coming in announcing that they had no reservation. This infuriated me, and I addressed the hostess. She quickly found a table to accommodate us because she understood a scene was about to unfold.Once seated, two tables that were seated after us had their orders taken first. We pointed this out to the waitress who admitted that she did not know the order of seating. She was just told which tables. This is a leadership issue.The individual filling water glasses passed our table but had a second of hesitation as if she was going to stop before continuing to another table. She came us afterwards.As an African American male, I am shocked when I have this type of experience from another minority group. It simply could have been bad timing. I do not know for certain. I do know that all of these are things that can be addressed and should so that it does not happen again.I am now tossed with whether Ill return or should recommend this establishment based on my experience.
As a recurring customer, I was completely shocked at my experience this time in ordering food at Blend. I placed my order 4 hours in advance and when I went to pick it up, it was not ready for yet another hour. Nonetheless, I waited and brought the food home for my family as it was for a special occasion. To my surprise, some of the items were missing and the food I received was burnt completely to the point where there is no taste. We were completely and utterly disappointed with this experience and ended up having to get food from somewhere else. Sad to say, you just lost some valuable customers.

Google said that they have lunch menu prices..when our food was served it was lunch portion but they charged us dinner prices. Reason its getting 3 stars because staff were friendly, kept checking on us and food was okay
Service was bad. The table we requested was not available. Our drinks never came through, the food was not up to par for the price. We never got any attention until we asked to pay and even that took forever. Will not be returning.
Delicious food, amazing drinks and great service. They try to keep it warm, but on a windy day it wont do much. Even so they give you that tropical feel in winter adding that beautiful decorative flower.

Drinks 🙌🏾. Had some mini pull pork sandwiches for appetizers, they were 🤤. Main Course was the skirt steak very flavorful dish. Im from the Caribbean so season is a big thing to me. Most restaurants serve bland food that looks good. NOT THIS PLACE. THE TASTE MATCH THE LOOKS 👏🏾.
Celebrated a birthday here over the weekend and was disappointed had reservation for 6:30 pm for a party of 8 it was 6 of us there and the others were on there way we couldn’t be seated until the whole party of 8 was there the hostess had a Attitude she was very rude and we were giving a time limit on the table which wasnt explain when the reservation was made the food portions are extremely small the frozen drinks are very sweet waitress was not attentive at all and every time she did come to our table she kept rushing to sing happy birthday and give us our check everything felt rushed

I’ve been to Blend 3 times. The food is amazing HOWEVER and the wait staff are decent.*****THIS RATING IS FOR THE HOSTESS******EVERY SINGLE TIME, She is INCREDIBLY DRY AND RUDE. She addressed me every time with disdain and almost anger. Why would you put someone like that as your host. I am a business owner and I’d never keep someone with such bad energy.I will never return and will will not recommend this place
Located at a very busy street at the heart of astoria this place has limited parking.Happy hour, they have happy hour specials every day. As well as brunch. They do not have boozy brunch which is a bummer cause their food is good.The service is very good, we sat at the bar and our bartender was pretty quick to tend to us and super friendly.Needless to say that the place has great decor and it is a very well designed space, they even have an upstairs and back garden.POKE TACO- somewhat a healthy option since is the nice sushi tuna, they were 3 little tacos, the tacos tasted pretty good, but I was not very pleased with the fact that the tortilla was hard shell and those are generally fried, so it kind of defeated the purpose of a quest for a healthy snack. so I would not order it again when looking to eat clean.CAMARONES AL DIABLO- its like a popcorn fried shrimp with a very spicy chipotle sauce yet pretty amazing, this was one of our favorite appetizers as far as flavor, but again fried. so not the healthiest choice.TRUFFLE FLATBREAD- omg this is the best flatbread I have ever had.OBVIOUSLY carbs and not the healthiest of the choices and we were aware, but the size was just right for 2, as well as the fact that it tasted so good, I am definitely a fan!Over all we were ok and somewhat impressed with the food. The service was very good as well as the sitting outside option. I will probably be coming back for more happy hours.

Excellent service! The waitress Marcela was extremely informative. Music was great, just loud enough that you can still have a conversation with your party at the table. The food and drinks were fantastic. We had a Grey Goose Fruit Bunch, Fiery Dragonberry Mojito(AWESOME!), Paribas Rellenas, MOJO SnS and Pan Seared Tilapia. All was excellent!
Really nice place! I have been to Blend on the water so I have been waiting for this to open! The staff were so welcoming and the ambience was perfect! Although they have not presented the full menu, our drinks apps, entrees, and dessert were really good! Cant wait to go back to see what else they will be having on their menu!

Gorgeous interior, seems like they try really hard to make the atmosphere feel trendy, towards the end of my meal some live ambient music started and I thought that was a nice touch.The red sangria is strong and flavorful, and the pitcher is almost too good of a deal to pass up on. Ordered the churrasco medium rare after seeing pictures of it in reviews and it didnt disappoint, flavorful, the right balance of fat, and the meat had great color. The pork chops were incredible as well, cooked well and they came with a generous amount of very flavorful sautéed onions. Will definitely be coming back to sit and will be ordering to go to try some other menu options.When its not the dead of winter I will be back to order a frozen drink.Maybe I came at an off time but the service was slightly off beat, couldve just been the day or even the time, I was there on the early side.
Really good food. I tried the lunch special on a Monday. It was really dead but nice. Cocktails were cheap and delious. The quality of the food was excellent. I would definitely come back again. Only thing is I heard it gets really packed on weekends and holidays.
Sunday brunch was great. Started with fresh guacamole and sangria, both very good. The entree selections are fantastic. Service was on point.
After 3 or 4 visits to blend (Astoria and Lic) Im happy to say this one officially one of my favorite places to eat in Queens. The venue is gorgeous. The wait staff is gorgeous. The drinks are always money and the food is fantastic. What more could you ask for? Oh you want authentic Latin food? Blend got you.Most recently my wife n I split the cubao buns (think deep fried cuban sammie pork buns w/ pernil. Fried pickles and jalapenos on the side were an amazing compliment). This was a new addition to the menu and theyre amazing. Hopefully yours is less greasy than mine were. Still amazing doeeee. Arepa cups have always been my favorite app. Their flatbread is surprisingly bomb.Bill can get a little high if you over indulge, but youre guaranteed to be taking delicious food home in a to-go container.All in all, Blend is a great spot for most occasions. Awesome for dinner nights out with bae or the sqaud. Great for grabbing a quick bite. Great for getting drinks with friends. Great to go to if youre lookin for love.The Astoria location is right in the heart of the neighborhood and can lead to an amazing night Astoria. The Lic location is right on the water and has gorgeous views.
Amazing everything! The service was great and fast, the food was so delicious! They also make the drinks virgin for those who don’t drink, and the strawberry mojito was much better than I expected! Definitely coming back, and highly recommend this to anyone in the Astoria area or looking for good Latin food! And the outdoor seating is beautiful, and the restaurant is right by the bus stop!
Friendly staff, restaurant takes COVID very seriously so they will take your temp and info. Besides that the food is amazing! And well portioned 👍 I definitely did stick around for dessert, in which was no disappointment. I will be up for another round ☺️
Outdoor seating was not an option this evening as it was raining,and but the space looked festive with the trees and plants to help u forget you are in Queens for a short while. The restaurant was well laid out (not too close to the next table). We kicked off the evening with a fruity $20 pitcher of red sangria paired with fresh Guacamole with chips and a Queso de Cabra salad. For the entrees, we shared the Citrus crusted Salmon and the Ropa Vieja. Wow. The salmon was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. It arrived on a bed of purple mashed potatoes with steamed asparagus. The plantains added a sweetness to the beef which complimented the rice and black beans very well. I look forward to our next dining experience here.
Unfortunately the lowest I can give is one star, I wish I could give them zero. The most unprofessional restaurant and manager I have ever met. After making a 10:00 reservation and confirming what this includes over the phone, we attended their New Year’s Eve party. The first red flag was when they changed the price of their dining package after we had already booked our reservation. Per their multiple flyers, we were told that our 95 dollar payment would cover an open bar and a two course meal. When we got to the restaurant at 10:00, they told us to wait at the bar until they could find us a table (red flag #2). We waited at the bar for 30 minutes until they finally seated us, having a few drinks as we were under the impression this went towards our open bar experience. The bartender told us to close out our tab before being seated but we were confused because they said it was an OPEN bar. After being seated, we were told that the $95 reservation only included a two course meal, and in order to enjoy the open bar we would have had to pay an additional $30. In what world is $95 per person a reasonable price for a 2 course meal?! This was not the deal promoted on their social media pages. After realizing the table next to us was experiencing the same frustration, the manager was called up and was extremely rude and dismissive. He said that since Blend has 3 different restaurants, the deal we were told we’d be receiving only applied to “Blend on the Water”. This makes no sense, as it was posted on the Blend Astoria Instagram page. In retrospect, we realize now that they lied to get us in the door.The manager had a smirk on his face and told us if we werent satisfied, we could leave. That is exactly what we did. We paid the bar tab and left, as did the table next to us. Don’t go here.

If I could give no stars, I would. Where do I begin? My friends and I saw the Instagram for a New Years Eve at Blend offering a 2 course dinner, champagne toast and an open bar until midnight for $95. We quickly made a 10:00 reservation and we’re very excited to ring in 2022 with Blend. We couldn’t have been more mistaken. First of all our reservation was not honored so we were told to wait at the bar. At 10:30 when a waitress came over to seat us, we were handed a bill for our drinks! Wait, what??? We called for the manager and showed him the Instagram stating the $95 included an open bar and he rudely replied that offer pertained to one of their other Blend restaurants. Are you kidding me????This OBNOXIOUS manager lied to our faces, tried to cheat us out of money, and couldn’t have been nastier. He told us to either pay or leave so we left. So did 6 other people who were lied to and taken advantage of as we were. What a SCAM!!! What was done to us was not legal and I am pursuing this matter further. But in the meantime, RUN, do not just walk away from this horrendous, deceitful, dishonest place. And tell everyone you know about this disgusting experience as I have and will continue to do so. The place is beautiful n the Waitress good also but the food was cold my food had a hair on it . We left once we seen that . Not happy at all
Stopped by here today around 5:30 with my wife for quick dinner. First the host girl was horrible. We got sat down at a table that keep moving. Asked to be moved 4 times. The waiter told me we gotta have the host move us, but the host was too busy texting on her phone completely ignoring our request. When we finally got moved took a long time to get service. I took the grilled chicken in lemon sauce. It was very dry and over cooked. Once we finished eating told about 3 people I want the check but they wouldn’t call the waitress just again completely ignored us. This was one of my favorite spots in Astoria and the food and service just went down the drain. Probably wont be eating here any more.
Ordered from seamless their phone is disconnected and the order was over an hour late. Since they use their own driver no one can contact them. Ended up giving up and having to eat dinner at 10PM due to their lack of communication.
Love the place, looks fancy but its casual, they have great drink variety, the food its good, the cheese in the empanadas where litter too salty, but cuz it was a mix of cheese. The sweet plantain with cheese, omg delish...
Food was good, except for a lack of veggies/greens on our dinner palate, but the meal was quite tasty. And they have vegan “chicken”, yay. The outside seating was great and felt covid-safe, and music was wonderful. The inside was nice and clean. Waitress, however, had zero personality and service skills. Spilled two drinks on our table and, with a tone as dry as the Sahara desert, said, “I’ll get you another drink”. The bus boy was sweet and attentive, so that made up for the non-smiling waitress. The manager never came out to check on the outside diners. For the icing on the cake, at check time, 20% tip was already included. Look, it is what it is, but this restaurant just won’t be high on my list for dinner next time. I mean, for the price of dinner here, the service just didn’t match it. Maybe you’ll have a better experience (I hope).

Place was clean and maintained covid19 protocol. Food was TASTY AF!!!!! Ordered the Crispy Chicken and 2 piña coladas. Food was just a tad on the greasy side, just FYI. Other than that, chicken was well done, flavorful and juicy. Avocado mango salsa was very exciting and scrumptious. #todiefor😍 piña colada was not too sweet, not to heavy on liqour. Well paired combination! Ambient was something similar to being in a jungle with so much greenery, very pleasant and inviting! Staff was very attentive and helpful. This gem is a must when in Astoria!!

I was quite disappointed with the fact that my sister on law could not have the upstairs area exclusively for her party of 20 & had to share space with 6 other strangers they couldve made accommodations for elsewhere...the entire price per person $70 was not worth it.&.no alcohol included so its a thumbs down for me 👎👎💯 service was mediocre as well as the food 🙃 offerings on the pre fixed menu..I did enjoy the atmosphere of blend but im going to guess the waterfront location offers more than meets the eye...I left blend feeling hungry but happy to share in the birhday celebration w/ my sis & family.
I would best describe this venue as being average. They dont really cater too well to huge groups even though you can set up a big dinner upstairs. The second time I was there, the waitress took our credit cards and never came back. We had to find her in order to get them. Guess she didnt feel like going back upstairs but she could have told us to come down if that was the case. Also be aware that scramble eggs and cheese is not made properly here. And for some reason my steak was made well done instead of medium rare. On the other hand, the decor is inviting and the menu options are appeasing to anyone who likes to eat latin food.

The atmosphere is amazing. From the live music, the decor to the way the food is presented. I’ve been a loyal customer to Blend LIC, Blend on the Water, Blend Astoria for over 5 years. It never seems to amaze me. I love how each location has different menus so I have a chance to hop around and switch up my meals. Very nice staff and mgmt. I highly recommend visiting all three locations.
I live close by and have been here numerous times so here is my review.Overall good service, good drinks and good food.I noticed the chef goes a little unique sometimes when requesting a specific meat temperature, or asking for extra sauce on the side. Im a foodie, so a open to creativity. Ive tried almost everything off the menu ( except pork items) and never any issues.Waits can be long sometimes, I then usually just go to a different location, tho one night waited about an hour because a friend wanted to try it.We got drinks across the st in the mean time
I went there tonight with some friends. The food was phenomenal. Ordered the churrasco medium well and it was cooked perfectly. Ordered a blue Hawaiian and it was awesome. The server was very attentive to our order and made sure that me and my party was well taken care of. The portion size were more than fair and the food was phenomenal. Will definitely be going back

Out of all the locations this one on 30th Ave was spot on. Came here yesterday, Sunday 10/3 for brunch with 7 other people and the host accommodated us within minutes with the phone ringing off the hook and people standing in line. She even overheard me talking about our friend’s birthday and had our server (who was absolutely amazing) come out with a surprise cake. A+++ for the whole staff, waitress and even busboys fixing up the fan, booster seat and providing ice water every so often. The service was fast, great tasting food and drinks and they even had a DJ. Even with so many people around I was surprised we were attended to so quickly and organized because there was a lot going on. Our waitress did a great job on checking up on us. Will definitely be coming back! 👍🏾
I had a whole Google Docs List Planned out of potential places across the city where I wanted to have my birthday dinner and I chose Blend Astoria because Ive been to their other locations and received exceptional service!Vibes are 10/10, Undeniably beautiful atmosphere and delicious food as always. My reason for a (generous) 3 stars is a particular waitress we had that disregarded our table and would serve others prior to ever checking in on us, we wanted to order drinks and attempted to get her attention several times and was unable to. Her name is Jennifer. We recieved more attentiveness from the busboys refilling our water without asking.Other than that, everything else was exceptional.

Food and drinks were great here. The brunch menu is pretty small but you can also get regular entrees during brunch time. The only thing not up to par is the service. We asked to sit outside and they were reluctant to put us in the small back area. Seated us directly in the sun. Had to ask multiple people if we could be moved and they kept going back and forth between asking managers. They said we needed a reservation to sit at the nicer area on the sidewalk, which I did make a reservation. They moved us a few seats down and the waitress was visibly annoyed we moved to a seat in the shade.4 stars for food, drinks and ambiance.3 stars for service.

While the restaurant and food was spectacular there was a hostess that was very rude and basically rushed my family and I out of the restaurant. Not only did we complain about her, other Staff members as well complained about her. She has no business being in customer service and blend Astoria needs to reevaluate who they hire.
If theres a God, He eats at Blend. The churrasco flat bread recommended by Jasmin literally could not be better. It tasted like a warm log cabin with your favorite friends. Jasmin was so attentive. Not sure what the weirdos that said service sucks were referring to but at no point in time was I ever waiting aimlessly. Jasmin was always within reach. Like she knew that I wanted something even before I did! And dont get me started about James, the manager. If this place is heaven, then James is St.Peter. Nothing went over his head. He personally stopped by to introduce himself and gave me a brief history of the restaurant! Wow! Now thats some service. I even heard some girls behind me checking him out! Had a surprise bday dinner there and it was great. Staff was friendly but the area upstairs was very stuffy for all the people present within that area. Nonetheless had a great time with great food.
Food is always excellent as well as the drinks. The table wobbled and tabletop was loose. They fixed the wobble. The staff was friendly. The service was terrible. We waited for 15 minutes to get drinks 10 mintutes for appetizers and always had to stop anyone to ask for extra napkins, more drinks anything. We were not finish with our appetizera and they came to take our plates. We asked for the manager and he mysteriously was not available afyer he saw with his own eyes how rhe seevice was because he had to help us get service at one point. It was not crowded.

Honestly one of the worst nights i have had in a while, I was hoping to have a good dinner tonight but unfortunately I didn’t. First they sat me upstairs, then the waiter came to the table to ask for our drinks 10 minutes later and actually brought them around 10 minutes again. I saw a rat next to me and it went under the other side of the restaurant. I was already disgusted but my partner decided to stay. The food (only the appetizers) took 20 minutes to arrive. Keep in mind I arrived at 9:30 and sat down 9:50. Then I ordered the lomo and at this point it was around 10:30 and the waiter gave me the same appetizers but I told him I already ordered them. The lady proceeds to tell me that the appetizers were the lomo with rice I ordered so she lied to my face (I know the difference between lomos and tacos) My food comes 10 minutes later at about 11:10 PM. I didn’t even feel like eating at this point. I ordered a ginger ale and I had to personally ask the lady about the ginger ale 7 minutes later, like how long does it take to bring a single drink. In conclusion do not go to this disgusting place, the women that take your order are only there to hang out from what I was seeing and I literally saw a rat crawl next to me. Do not be decieved by looks, this place isn’t even meant for eating to be honest.. it’s just for drinks and hanging out. The thing I hated the most is that woman lying to me about the lomo I ordered and the steak tacos. The woman lied like I didn’t know and tried to play it off, at the end of the day they have a sad job and that’s to be a waiter, but it’s whatever.
I was really excited to try this place out for my friends birthday. Their menu is inconsistent, the attitude of the server was horrible and it was about 10 of us but she never checked up on us to see if everything was okay. We went for lunch and I got something with chicken and the chicken was rubbery and the taste just wasn’t there. Totally disappointed
This review is based on a one time visit to Blend which happened on a Tuesday afternoon in March, 2021 to celebrate my mom’s birthday & I would like to share my experience. At this time inside seating was available so I went for it because it was pretty windy outside plus I wanted to explore the restaurant,Inside the restaurant the ambiance makes you feel like you are in a tropical place with a fresh and happy vibe, salsa and Spanish music playing in the background & the waitress who took care of our table was very attentive and helpful the entire visit and most importantly the appetizers, main courses and drinks were all on point in size and flavor.We all tried different dishes and were all satisfied with what we got and although their menu is not too big I would be coming back to try other items from their menu and if anything changes I would update my review.
This was the worst Serb I’ve ever experienced. Arrived host at desk gives drink menu. After 20 min we asked for food menu. We only wanted peas rice plantains & seltzer water.These “waitresses” are eye candy ….water, never came, asked 3x for seltzer water. Very beautiful and the food is very pleasing to the eye. However I gave 4 star because I was expecting it to be fancy yet I saw people under dressed so I was confused. Also people were walking in and out of the restaurant which is not a bad thing but the waitress usually combines smaller tables to make bigger tables and our waitress took a table from a group of 6 guys who were hanging outside smoking because she assumed they paid an left. So when they came back inside they had to squish up beside us and we felt uncomfortable. They should really have a rule so no mix up like this can happen again. Yeah its a place to drink and hang out with friends but it is a fancy restaurant at least dont let a whole group leave and allow them to come back in especially if they combine tables to make bigger tables.

The service was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. Waited 25 mins for our waitress who kept walking past us. My food came before my drink did and all I ordered was mango juice to drink. The best thing that we had was the purple mash potatoes and the rotisserie chicken. I ordered the churrasco and it was burnt and tasted burnt even though I requested medium. Def wouldnt go back.
They would have gotten five starts but the male bartender today was unfriendly. Other than that everything else was great. Great ambience and food. The decor is beautiful and the music is wonderful.

Nice atmosphere here and if youre the kind of person who posts everything you do on social media then this is your spot. Went here on 4/30 in the middle of the afternoon and the roasted chicken dish I ordered was NOT seasoned at all. The drinks were very weak and the menu is a bit on the expensive side. I ordered the braised beef empanada and that was really good. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our order. My girlfriend took one bite of her food and did not finish it, in most places when your server sees this they will ask whats wrong. Here they didnt bother asking what we thought of our food.
I visited on Sunday for my Mother in Laws Birthday and went around 2pm for Brunch. The wait to be seated was about 25 minutes. Unfortunately they do not accept reservations. The food was delicious and well worth the wait. The server was just okay, it seemed she was a bit distracted by the guy seated next to my table. I chose to be seated outside because the weather was nice but the traffic noise Id pass on next time and instead sit indoors to enjoy the music.
Came here for a birthday. Table was reservedFor a party of 7. 6 of us arrived on time but one person was running late. They wouldn’t sit us until the one person got there( don’t get this mentality at all) so that was annoying. The food was excellent but the service was subpar. The drinks tasted great but after having 5 of them I should at least feel a buzz.
My BFF got our crew together for brunch during a visit. We ALL enjoyed our food, drinks and best of all dessert. I will definitely return when back home in NYC.
I usually don’t write reviews, but very disappointed with the service for my birthday. Our waitress did not bring out plates, had to ask other waitresses to call her. For the poor service we got they had the nerve to charge the gratuity. We complained and come to find out, they charged TWICE! Our bill was $400! Never will i be returning, and if management is reading this, customer service should be number one and having more waitresses on shift would be beneficial.

To me everything was good . The drinks tasted good , the customer service was good , & the food was good too . My food came out in no lie like 5 mins and it was hot too I was impressed. I ordered a lot of food too btw. The bartender wasn’t stingy like I wanted to try the drinks and he didn’t give me stingy or weird vibes when I asked for a sample he gave me a good size sample . I also didn’t feel rushed to leave the restaurant maybe because I was by the bar and constantly kept buying drinks LOL but I was there for hours honestly just vibing. The music is good too I would say it’s versatile enough for everybody with different music styles to enjoy at some point there. I would definitely come back .

The corner bodega food has more sazón then here and a quarter of the price. the location is sticky and greasy smells like a low tier night club. don’t be fooled by the appearance from the outside

My daughter took me out to this restaurant. I ordered the salmon with asparagus and mash potatoes. My daughter ordered chicken with rice and some kind of sauce. People believe me when i say the food and appetizers were disgusting. My salmon was previously frozen and it was dry as hell. My daughter children had no flavor. My green mash looked like vomit. Our frozen drinks were served warm. What a waste of time and money.

I hadnt been to Blend since pre-pandemic times. I was hoping the quality was maintained. Happy to report it certainly was. Their drinks were tasty and strong without an overpowering alcohol taste, and every entree was perfectly prepared.
The food is delicious thats for sure. That said , we got the seat next to the open entrance of the streetside enclosure. It was very cold on my back and feet. Service was great and our server was on point . Outside dining in New York in January isnt for me.

Made a reservation for date night after my wife gave birth and was cleared to eat and drink anything and everything. Wait time was almost inexistent as we arrived early for our reservation. Everything from the service by the waiting staff to the food and drinks were above and beyond. Its not the first time we come to this particular Blend, extremely consistent everytime we come and dine.
Small portions .. Unlimited drinks end at 2pm but brunch ends at 4pm.. Does that make since?? No

Dined in on 8/15/21 for dinner and I wasnt even given the option for a paper bill and had to use my credit card and pay a tip right in front of the waitress who was holding the credit card device, as Im writing this I dont even know what the total is I paid for the meal. Worst than what I just described is I took a pina colada tres leche desert to go and the desert was spoiled, so dissappointing.
Good food, AWFUL service.It took over a half hour before we even got table service for starting drinks or anything else. Out party still stayed and gave it a chance based off of a good review (JUST on the food) from another friend. When it came time for the appetizers, they brought out half of the tables food and everyone else was left twiddling their thumbs until a member of our party literally had to get up and remind the waitstaff that there were more people waiting for their food (at least 15-20 minutes, everyone else finished their appetizers by that point). Last but not least, when the main course arrived, two of my friend recieved undercooked rice.Seriously? Undercooked rice in a Spanish restaurant? Tsk tsk.I had no personal qualms with what I ordered, but thats not nearly enough to ever have me go back. Disappointed!

Everything myself and the members of my table ate was delicious! I highly recommend the Maduro Croquettes and the Chicharron de Pollo Skewers as appetizers, as well as the Ropa Vieja as an entree. Also the drinks contain a generous amount of alcohol. We went at a busy time (on a staturday) without a reservation but still managed to be seated within (40 min) and our servers were quick, accurate, and kind. Cant wait to go again, and try more menu items.

Will definitely come back with a larger groups.Went there again with a larger group for birthday celebration. Since they dont take reservation, we were quoted 30-45 mins. Here we go 1.5 hours later we are still waiting to be seated. There were available seats just for some reason their inexperienced hostess were sitting 2 people instead of trying to focus and sit the large table. Eventually we got seated and had some delicious food. The order was messed up but cant complain.5 Stars on the first visit. 2 Stars on the second visit equals a total of 7 stars divided by 2 brings it to 3.5 Stars. Well see how the next time will be...
This place is a disorganized mess. The food is flavorless but the drinks are good. Good enough to help you swallow the rubber tasting steak they charge you $30 for. Had better food at liberatos in the Bronx.
One of my friends was raving about this place so I thought I would go with my sisters. The website said a reservation wasnt needed but if your not trying to freeze outside, a reservation IS needed. It was raining and we did not want to sit outside regardless of how cool the outside space was with the heaters. The hostess was not trying to accommodate us whatsoever. We wouldnt mind waiting as we saw tables that were vacant but she said that was not an option at all. Really unfortunate that she was so dismissive and didnt seem to care but we walked down the block to THE GRAND and had a blast so if anything thanks for turning us down.
So, let me start off by saying that I would give their Monday evening RECEPTIONIST - NEGATIVE stars, if I could. Walking in and being greeted by a bull dog face snarl felt like a shot through the spirit, Especially, after making reservation for my friends birthday. You’d think our party would be greeted with more enthusiasm (way to ruin someone happy party mood). She made my party of 3 wait standing up for 15 mins at the front door until I arrived, which is absurd, annnnnd with the nastiest attitude..... I came all the way from Manhattan to have my friends almost leave because of this. The establishment should really consider who they have greeting and being the representative of their establishment. Besides this I’m so grateful for the staff upstairs who were very accommodating and hospitable. We ended up staying because of them!!— the food was great, I can’t take that away from the establishment.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant! I went here for dinner on New Years Eve and I wish I didn’t. I understand that because of the holiday it would be somewhat hectic, however every table around mine seemed to have no problem getting proper service, the waitress’ attention, and a constant flow of drinks except mine. The waitress constantly walked passed my table, looking in every other direction besides my table, even though we tried to get her attention multiple times. The table next to me had about 10 guests, the two tables across from me had two guests each And the table on the other side had about 3. The waitress kept their drinks flowing constantly throughout the two hours we were there however my table only had 3 drinks. When we asked her for another round, she said she would bring it. Twenty minutes went by without her bringing it and again avoiding our table. When it was time for the countdown, she provided all the tables around us with glasses of champagne except ours. Again when we tried to get her attention she continued to walk fast and look the other way. We had to ask another waitress to bring it instead. It saddens me to think her lack of attention and proper service was because we were the only table with people of color but in reality, that’s what it comes down to. Therefore, if you’re a person of color and want to get a good dinner with good service, don’t come here!

Food is good but the wait for the food its ridiculous and they dont even bring the entire order together wich is not the way a restaurant should serve. Everyone comes to eat as a family or friends so they should get there orders at the same time. By the time my son got his french fries he had eaten his Chicken tender.

Made reservations for 7:30, got there on time and wasnt seated until about 8:20 and thats only after a conversation was had. Even with reservations, they may attempt to seat you outside. Staff wasnt very attentive at all. Was asked if we needed water, said yes and then never got water. Had to ask again, and then only one glass was brought out. The food is good though, not great, but good. Citrus crusted salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus Potatoes are green because cilantro 😒 apparently you cant just garnish anymore, you have to use it to color the food. Salmon was actually pretty good. Guacamole has sunflower seeds 😒 and not much flavor. Mojito and wine was really good. Overall, good place to go,but pre-covid was a lot better.

Placed on an hour wait followed by a 40 minute wait to be seated inside instead of a wet outdoor table. The communication with the severs were terrible. I had been forgotten outside and had numerous trips to the front desk to inquire on new seating. The drinks saved me from giving it a 1- star.
I went in for brunch. The service was great and the food and drinks were really good. We had the skirt steak platter and the pernil entree. However the portions were really small comparable to the price.
I didn’t get a chance to eat here but the website says a reservation isn’t necessary. When I got there the hostess told us indoor dining was by reservation only and we couldn’t wait for a table to be available. It was early in the evening and we didn’t mind waiting but no tables available at all? On a cold rainy night who is gonna sit outside? That was not an option. If reservations are necessary to be seated indoors please state that on the website. Thank you

Pretty empty so quick service , still needed to make a Reservation even though it was early and nasty weather out . Food always tastes amazing 👏. Sangria Delicious , only downfall was Churassco wasnt cooked how I ordered . Overall good still tastes amazing . Long wait for check .
Food is great! Atmosphere is beautiful. Really recommend the arepa bites and fried shrimp. Also recommend the blue pina colada.
BLEND was an amazing experience, the ambiance was great, the pernil and salmon tasted amazing, definitely a place I would visit again. Our server Nareemah was very attentive and met all of our needs.
Gissel is the only server you need to ask for if you there. She will take care of you and your entire party. Went to celebrate a birthday and the entire party had a great time thanks to her. Next time you go be certain to ask for sitting in her section.
The service is so bad and slow af, the waiters and waitress need to go to school and learn how to do their job right! The food was bland and disgusting which is sad because Latin food is supposed to be flavorful. The portions are for kiddos which doesn’t match the price to portion ratio. Trust me it’s better to eat at a food cart down the street at least their food has flavor compared to this over hyped “restaurant”.
Honestly, this place deserves 1 star. The service was horrible! I took a bite of the chicken here and didn’t like it and the host didn’t even offer to remove this item off the bill or even take a portion off. Meanwhile she was hovering over me while I was paying for the bill to make sure she got her 18% tip that she DIDNT deserve. And the service was so slow. We literally waited so long to be served and to order. Don’t even bother coming here honestly.
I had a great time here with some friends, Giselle was the sweetest waiter and was really friendly :). Overall it was a calm and great night.
The place looks nice but the food is mediocre. Bland and not how you make any of the dishes. Guacamole wrong, Seafood Chaufa wrong and ehh Skirt Steak with something kind of like chimichurri. Honestly way better food options in queens.
I always come here to eat dinner! The food is soo Good and authentic I love it here! I have also brought my friends to eat here and they love the food also! The staff is amazing and so friendly! DONT MISS OUT!
My second time here and I have to say it gets better and better. DJ Camilo you did your thing here with decor and the new outside patios to serve guest with respect to social distancing. It’s beautiful, I felt as if I was in Miami. Food was tasty as if I was on an island, love it. Great vibes and all staff was very gracious especially Anita, she was very welcoming and attentive. I will be back.
Food was very delicious, but the waitress we had made us feel like we had to hurry and eat or we would get kicked out in one hour and 30 minutes because of COVID. We never received a receipt and she also took 20% tip by herself without any authorization of how much we wanted to give. It was a very unpleasant experience which sucked because I love the food and drinks served at this location. I get the demand is high but customer service needs to be worked on!!!

Went for brunch with my best friend. Always heard of this spot and finally got to check it out and it was definitely worth the hype. Great vibe for brunch. The food was delicious. Drinks were on point. Completely satisfied the brunch craving properly.

This was once a great place but its not what it used to be. The service is horrible. The Employees have an attitude Even with a reservation you will wait 20-30 minutes. Picking up food ? That too will be delayed for 30-1 hour after the pick up time.
Amazing food, portions extremely tiny. I spent over 100 dollars for just me and was starving after I left. It was WAY too overpriced. Service was horrible too. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers, lady didn’t even bring me the check after 2 hours of waiting. Impossible to get server’s attentions. All staff acted in a rush and were extremely rude, have never seen such rude people in my life. Never coming back. If you want to get ripped off for a bad experience with extremely small portions go here.....
Blend was great. The food was fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and it was awesome to be in a classy after work environment. The prices for food range from $9-$28. We went during the happy hour and most drinks were $5-$7. Great experience, would come back.
The food was good but could not compensate for there terrible service! I really wanted to like them 🤬and when a Latin restaurant serves raw rice it kind of pisses you off!

2022-03-22This has got to be one of my new favorite restaurants. They’ve got a large food variety and they have some of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted. I also love that they have vegan options. Drinks are good too! From two different visits, staff isn’t bad, but not great.

2021-10-09What an nice experience eating here. The decor is mortem and nice. Outside dining is also a nice addition for those who want to eat outside. They do have heaters in certain sections for outside dining. The staff very friendly and attentive. Frozen drinks are nice and tasty and well balanced. The food is presented very nicely and fresh outta the kitchen hot and tasty. Overall I highly recommend this place for food.

2022-06-01The food was not good and the price was to high for nothing. I guess we paid $800.00 for presentation because the food had little to know flavor the chicken was to tough not good at all. It was suppose to be $45.00 per plate but thats not the case when the bill came. The gratuity was $132.00 seriously they lost there minds. Never again.

2022-01-15Blend has a great atmosphere. It’s a restaurant you can enjoying lounging in, eating good food, and delicious drinks. I first tried the chorizo empanada which was a bit pricey considering the size but tasted good. For an entrée, I recommend the pollo a la plancha. It’s marinated in a delicious creamy lemon sauce and paired with some sweet plantains as well. Added a few frozen margaritas as well which were great and came in a variety of flavors. Restaurant was also very clean and waiters were pretty nice. Nice experience at blend astoria.

2021-08-24My girlfriend recommended that we come here to eat for our 3rd year anniversary and we are very happy that we reserved to eat there!We ordered the Citrus Salmon, the fillet mignon, and the corn, and the warm chocolate cake for dessert, and everything tasted great! It was suggested to get the salmon as medium well and Im glad I listened.Our server was even so gracious to ask if we were celebrating anything and added something special to our dessert!All the servers, waiters and staff were 100% on top of things and were always making sure we had water, that our table was cleaned and that everything was ok.I highly recommend to come here even if it isnt a special occasion. Thanks again for the amazing experience, food and service!

2022-04-30The bartender had me and my friends back the whole night. All I can say is he was amazing. I cant say what he did because his boss will be reading this review. 😂The hostess, are waitresses are absolutely beautiful people. The food was pretty good and the drinks were delightful.I gave this establishment five stars because it is so clean and nice looking. Everybody is very professional and helpful. I never felt like I was being ignored. Everybody take care of us. (A+)

2021-08-02The vibe was nice in there, the food was ok. Overall it was a cute spot to have a drink & a cute plate of food. Towards the end we ordered more drinks & the waitress had forgotten and blamed it on the busboys they dont speak English when we speak perfect Spanish and the busboys do not take orders. The waitress had simply forgotten my drink. Thats the only incident that brings my rating down.
