This is an amazing spot to get work done or hang out! The food is super good, the indoor and outdoor seating is very cute, tons of outlets and free Wi-Fi! Also, whenever I go, the people who work there are always so kind and welcoming! Great energy all around :)

The first time I was amazed by the portion and the taste of the bowl I ordered and that was late April so I went back to order the same bowl late June and realized the portion was twice less than the one back in April with the exact same price...A bit disappointed tbh...
Great fresh food, huge variety of vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. All kinds of smoothies, juices, sandwiches, bowls, and breakfast options, and of course coffee. In general lots of organic, fresh ingredients.I always love the dragonfruit banana smoothie (16oz for just $5.50!).Also really liked the vegan bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin.
Walked by plenty of time but never went in. Finally did and wasn’t disappointed! Every register is self checkout for ease of use. They have loads of great sandwiches and bowls which you can customize into oblivion. You actually order said food at the self checkout too using a touch screen kiosk, you you can take your time browsing the ingredients and building the things exactly how you want it. On top of all that, it’s delicious!!
Very happy this place exists. I order my meals once a week from them and they are always good. Its the only place where i can find organic plants in different forms (like salad, smoothing, juice) to full-fill my daily quota of veggies!

By Far MY FAVORITE NEW PLACE !!I happen to be walking by court and saw this new place so I had to try it. The place is nice and clean the ppl are amazing a guy name Johnny took care of me he was amazing . Amazing customer service very attentive !The food is delicious and heathy , I love that they meal preps makes my life so much easier.
The service was terrible, I purchase the black bean bowl, and the Presentation look as if someone already eaten the food and put it in the tray. I took the food right back and they were expecting me to get a replacement meal at a later time. SMH! After speaking for over fifteen minutes they decided to make the meal over.In that moment I order 2 more orders for family members and prepaid for them $32.00, and came back to pickup the order and got home to realize the order was incomplete. I called them and they told me I would have to wait for a response whether or not I can get a refund. They want sell meals they would like you to eat at you expense!Terrible service!

This is a great spot for vegan meals! Eli recommended the Vegan chorizo sandwich and was tasty and flavorful. The Hazelnut latte with oat milk was also delicious. I will try the meals to go 4 for $20 next.

The staff is rude and seems like they don’t even want people to come inside! I asked the lady for crushed peanuts inside of my protein shake and she told the guy (in Spanish) to add the peanuts to my shake and he did not want to do it (which is fine). BUT SHE CHARGED ME FOR EXTRA PEANUTS KNOWING THAT HE DID NOT WANT TO ADD IT TO MY DRINK. Then as I was walking out I drank it and walked back and told her there weren’t any peanuts in the drink and then she told me that I didn’t ask for it in my drink she though I meant in my salad and began to tell me that “I did not specify” so I told her that I understood her when she told the guy in Spanish to add the peanuts to my drink and then she just looked at me with a shocked look. And they were looking at me and whispering the entire time after I asked for the peanuts in my smoothie smh. I’m never going here again! No wonder it’s always empty! And the food did not taste good in my opinion.
Visited this place at the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint. Eli was great with explaining the menu and giving suggestions on which items I should get. I had the Greek Bowl and it tasted sooo good with the roasted eggplants, calamata olives and the Acai vinaigrette tied everything together. Ordered a Mango-Licious smoothie to go along with my bowl and wow, the blend of mangoes, pineapple, apple and peaches was spectacular. Would definitely visit again!
This place is actually really really cool! I Love the healthy “brain food” menu. They offer meal prep for a fantastic price, the coffee is to die for, plus to place your order you do it yourself at these little kiosk things. That way if your order is wrong, more than likely it’s your fault. Also you can eat inside, which is a rarity currently in NYC.

The Greek Bowl (cold) was okay. Not enough of the mix-ins, roasted red peppers, chicken peas, red onions.... overall if you want a fresh salad then thats what youll get. My boyfriends Mango-licious Smoothie was delicious.
Hair In MY FOOD!!!! I just ordered from here for the first time And it is MY LAST!!!!! The Vegan Tuna melt on a gluten-free wrap is what I ordered, with Avocado (which was extra $$ but NOT on it) ONLY to FIND HAIR IN MY FOOD AFTER BITING INTO IT! I called several times, finally spoke with the woman who took my order. All she said was come back we can make you another one. NO employees wearing hair nets , I took a chance and it was a horrible experience. NEVER AGAIN
I just bought a smoothie from you guys that was delivered and there are shards of glass on my smoothie! I will never ever eat here again and I am shocked this has happened. This is so crazy! I have never had an experience like this.
Vegan chopped cheese sausage tastes as if they made it on the same grill as the non vegan meat and it tasted like and smelled like multivitamin. So for that reason I’m giving a 2/5, their vegan sandwiches used to be really tasty to me but this one wasn’t so good
I loved the atmosphere in here.Since it was my first time there someone named Eli suggested that I get the salmon that was on the menu and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend some more of my friends to eat here.
OMG love this place. My husband and i have been walking 2 hrs every weekend for the past 4 weeks from Queens to get our meal preps. The food and smoothies are amazing. Meal preps are 2 for $10 and are definitely worth your money. They are also very involved with the community donating meal preps to the community and essential workers. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and they make it very convenient for you to order there with a self-checkout. Will continue to go there until they open a Brain Food in Queens!!!!

I go to this place almost everyday for my dirty Chai and breakfast , Eli is really helpful and always welcomes you with a smile :) they have healthy options for food and also pretty good juices, a really nice spot in the neighborhood.

Delicious, healthy and wholesome food that is made fresh for you. I find the bowls at brain food are really great value. If you are easily satiated then I suggest adding greens as a base instead of quinoa. The chicken was a better option than the salmon, but both were delicious. The juices are also tasty without added sugar and I like how you can also buy pre made meals to take home to freeze or eat for dinner. There is limited seating inside but also outside chairs (non heated) during this pandemic time.
I used to love going to brain food but for the past few times the smoothies are disgusting. The women in front of the register is not helpful and has turned me off from going back to brain food.

Cool place with a good choice of healthy food. Bowls, sandwiches. Breakfast, lunch. Snacks, coffee, fresh made, counter service, seating. Pleasant, friendly staff. The food we ordered was served up promptly and was fresh and tasty. I hope they become a neighborhood fixture. They werent super busy when I was there and Ive been around long enough to see places I really liked fade and close just as I was getting used to them. Im definitely rooting for this one!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Please if you are reading reviews to decide if you are going to order here, order from somewhere else. After 2 hours of waiting for my delivery order they decided to cancel. Then I called again and they said they would make it right then one hour later they told me they wouldn’t do anything about their poor service. I used to be a regular customer but I will not be reordering. There are lots of great healthy places in Brooklyn. Please choose some place that values their customers and operating a moral company.
Good smoothie but customer service sucks!
I went in one morning for a smoothie after a spin class. When I went in, one of the doors were not open which is just inconvenient. But the biggest annoyance was when I asked for a Create your own smoothie the barista had a huge attitudinal problem and SLAMMED the tablet for orders around for ME to put in my own order. If I am paying 7 DOLLARS for a smoothie, I SHOULD NOT have to put in my order if the store is empty and the barista was there. I dont know why I was surprised with such behavior because her hat said the words I DONT CARE. I would not recommend--I WILL BE GOING TO BROOKLYN BLEND FROM NOW ON. The last time I was there she was screaming on the phone. This was final straw.
They have great vegan and non-vegan options (with great portion sizes), and their smoothies are really good.They truly care about the quality of their food and customer service and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied.10/10 would recommend :)

Just came in last minute for food prep cus I have lost my mind to cook from working and the staff were so nice and understanding albeit the late arrival. Today I went into this store to order a Jamaican Me Crazy salad and none of the employees were practicing COVID safety protocols. No one had on a mask or gloves they were talking during food prep ( yuck covid droplets). I gently asked the staff why no one was wearing mask, the staff replied our boss told us we didnt have wear mask because we are all vacinated. I replied you do know there is a new strain that is more contagious that Covid called Delta, do you watch the news. The all looked like duh🤔. Needless to say I didnt order any food.😪

The food was really good. I only had 2 of their items but they were really, good. I mean like i wanted to go back the same day and get some more good. I had the pineapple Jerk chicken sandwich and the Jamaican Me so crazy bowl. They were both really tasty.. Will be going back soon

Great setup with lots of grab and go snacks, healthy options, drinks, etc. Most of their options seem to be slated toward the hard core health crowd; for example they only had turkey bacon, no option for regular bacon...not a bad thing, but just be aware that healthy is the priority. I had a hot food breakfast and it was not quite as good as I wanted it to be...it was absolutely fine, and I appreciate the fresh and healthy ingredients, etc but was more in the mood for a big, sloppy sausagey-cheesy breakfast and that is not their strength. So go for good healthy stuff, not for your cheat-day indulgence. Staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful, well worth the visit.

Came in after reading positive reviews and my standards were just not met at all. Staff were not polite and I just felt like my business was not wanted. Definitely will not be coming back or recommending to any of my friends.
I order food from Brain food located on Dekalb & Bedford all the time, but have to stop because of all the sodium they’re putting in the food. I can’t even eat their basmati rice due to the high sodium.

We just ordered two salads for delivery: the Mexican chicken chop salad and the Thai peanut salad with chicken. Awesome food! Super fresh and good sized dinner portions. We will def order from here again!

Brain food is good for you. An incredible variety of food, snacks and beverages coupled with great service is the best recipe.
Food is ok. 3 out of the 4 workers inside werent wearing masks (they were around their chin or head). I had to ask the person that was going to make my food to put on his mask and he seemed confused.

2022-03-02I love this place. Great energy amazing prices & exceptional food for an affordable price. I love the staff especially Johnny, he is overall an amazing person & worker. The food is so good & healthy. I was amazed after all this time that past the prices are still very low. 4 meals for $20 & its delicious! Besides the food & the amazing service they help out the community! They help feed the homeless what a phenomenal way to way to give back to others . I truly hope this place expands & with the right people in charge like Johnny it will prevail.. Thank you love Marly🌸 I will be back soon!

2022-07-14This is the best place in Brooklyn for juices or smoothies. They actually use fresh ingredients. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and look happy to work there. However the main attraction is the back garden. Its a perfect place to work, relax, or just to wait for your order. Highly recommend.

2022-07-15I did a build your own bowl to try some of my favorite ingredients (my first time here) and Im glad I did a test run. The honey garlic Brussels have a hidden kick to them and the fresh pineapple is warm? Also, expect all of your toppings to be mixed, they dont separate them like in the menu photos.Great quality tho and Ill definitely be back! Im just gonna ask a lot more questions next time 😂

2021-06-07Really nice place. We ordered two sandwiches one was vegan and paid 20$ for both! Vegan chorizo sandwich was tasty and flavorful. I got the bbq meat sandwich it was incredibly delicious although the Serrano peppers were extremely spicy!! So beware. Lol you can order right off a computer when you walk inside which is super convenient. Everything looked clean and fresh!

2022-07-19The food is good. The space is amazing. There are just 2 things that keep me away. 1 is sometimes there is a cat litter smell in the garden. And 2 is they refuse to turn down the music. Its not that I hate music but its hard to speak to people even if they are directly across from you. Its loud pop dance music. This place needs to decide if its a night club or a chill spot to eat. Would be here every day if it werent for the music. The smell is probably from the buildings around them so they get a pass.

2022-06-09Cannot recommend enough. Brain Food has been a god send when I’m on the go and need a healthy, macro-friendly meal. The build your own option is great, and the veggies are tasty without being doused in oil. The straight forward preparation of high quality ingredients empowers the consumer to know exactly what they are eating. Whether you need a quick, healthy option or just don’t feel like preparing your own root vegetables on a weeknight, Brain Food is an excellent choice.

2021-06-22I love the opening hrs till 10PM, their food is really healthy and a good variety. However, I like it saucy and if something says curry tofu I would like to see or taste some curry. Personally have tried different bowls that were all very dry and plain. Need seasoning badly lol. Love the prepped meals 4 for $20, will add hot or other sauce to make it taste like anything.

2022-04-05This place could be so delicious and is sometimes .. but most of the time, particularly recently it seems sloppily / hastily prepared and is sometimes just tasteless.Additionally they just dont know how to make their own juices . The ratios of ingredients are always different. One time i paid $8 for a green juice what was like 80% lemon ... this and the fact that the food is always really sloppy makes me feel they just dont have well trained staffBummed because i would come here all the time if it was consistent , there are not many options around .

2022-04-12THE PLACE IS A GEM! SOO BOMB!The food is amazing but the star is the back patio! I went for lunch spontaneously, after one of staff members encouraged me to go in. Im so glad I did! The music is smooth, sit back and eat some healthy food. You might miss it just walking down court street so be on the look out! 5 stars hands down!
