Theyre never on time to get me to my appointments but always there to get me home right away..... Super money centered, which is understandable - however: NOT AT THE COST OF SERVICE -You people seem to forget that youre getting folks to MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS not the circus... Do better!!
There timing is horrible.. I will never use this cab company again. Made my fiancé n my 11 month old wait for 2 n half hours extra at childrens hospital for a med cab. Never again.. Lost my business big time plus when u call to check where ur cab is dispatch is soo rude got hung up in 2-3 diff times checking on cab time.
If i could give them a 0 I would. They actually left one of my staff members on the side of the road in at night in the winter weather and she had to call her father to come and pick her up. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. tHIS IS UNEXCUSABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just terrible!! My pick up was at 1 pm my appointment was at 2!! I called them at least three times 12:45, (otw) 1:15(driver’s on the way) 1:30. Same lie!! They never showed up! This company still gets paid from Medicaid if they show up or not and when Buffalo Transportation) are for a return trip !!!!…. Omg From a ER visit!! Oh your gonna be waiting 3 hours no less!! If they are 15 mins late they should not get paid!!! The company has no structure!!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I never waste time writing reviews but this such a poorly run company. The last 6 appointments I have had 5 of them have been disasters. I’ve completely missed 3 appointments because I had no ride no one came to pick me up no one called even to say they were on their way, or not coming, they just literally flat out didn’t come or call period! When I called asking where a ride is I was told that the location where I live in the (Southtowns) is very difficult to get out too so it’s hard to get rides out there. That’s BULL. I see Buffalo Transportation driving around here all of the time just apparently never actually picking people up! I am empathetic to the situation everyone seems to be in with being extremely short staffed but when it comes to people and their medical appointments, like injection appointments that you cannot miss that it’s every three months or it can take six months to get into see a specialist and you don’t have a ride to take you it’s RIDICULOUS. On the off chance that I actually do get a ride to an appointment, I’ve set appointments for 2 1/2 hours waiting to get picked up to go home. A 45 minute doctors appointment should not be a 6 hour day ordeal. My advice: do no use this company ever unless you want to miss all your appointments on purpose
OMG, what a nightmare of just dealing with them over 2 yrs. The past 3 mos. have been just horrible...Full of lies, no cabs, an 1 & 20 mins. late for a test, etc. I could go on & on, Totally unprofessional... Even lied to my dr. that a cab was outside & Im at the window & no cab. I know how these cabs do the eta, so I didnt get alerts, but do have to say 2 wks. ago did get 1, but stood outside in this heat for well over an hour & 20 mins...The drivers are ok, they show u when they get the call, & its not what the office tells u...They are not low staffed, but claim, they dont have enough cabs, well buy some....I even called the Head Boss, David of the Co., never got back to me. My Case worker filed so many complaints on them, didnt help. I think they were just doing that to me just to harass me for the complaints... Im so happy I switched cab co.s. You must get to your appt. around when they feel like it, not what time u have to be at yours...They feel the drs. can wait...Even told Roswell knows they are always late, lol Nice!!! Very stressful when youre late, but now they will have to pay my dr. the 40. fee b/c it was the 2nd, I missed an appt. with them b/c of no cab....Just switch, save yourself from this insanity....
5 stars for DRIVERS!ZERO stars for people in office who fail to understand we are at their mercy. On Thursday, July 8th my mom, 89 year old woman in a wheelchair, required transportation to a medical building at 310 Sterling. Drive had paperwork indicating 301- an entirely different building. It so happens the next day she did need to go to the 301 building. Thought it was a simple mixup- driver was going to let them know and I showed he the info the Thurs apot being 310. He drove her to 310.When I called for a pickup, a woman who must take lessons in rudeness informed me her paperwork said 301, not 310. She would not send someone to 310, with attitude to boot. If you want your mom.picked up at 310 you have to call Medicaid and get them to change the address.Im.in a doctors office waiting area, my mother in a wheelchair, and Im supposed to call Medicaid? Ive no idea how to do that, where to call- local or Albany- etc.I explained the very nature of the trip was WHEELCHAIR transportation. She then tells me: then you got to take her to 310. I say- you want me to push my elderly mom IN a wheelchair, through a parking lot, across a TWO LANE ROAD, to a other building she doesnt have an appt at , so they wont let her in the building, to stand in the possible rain in their parking lot while we wait up to an hour (standard answer whe ever you call for pickup)? She said it was t her problem and HUNG UP ON ME.I frantically called the nursing home- they must have gotten the same woman because the first time they got hung up.on and the second person did get results but not without a lot of attitude. We finally got a van. The facility managed to get a different van provider for the next day. This person in the office should lose her job. Her lack of compassion was atrocious. The drivers are always nice and helpful. This was obviously a transposition of numbers, I was not asking to be driven to another town, to another place, but to be picked up whete she was left originally.I would not recommend this business, and I will be filing a formal complaint with the company, Medicaid as well as my representatives, and I know the facility is filing a complaint as well.
Two times in a row I have missed appointments because they were late. This last time was even worse, not only was the driver late but kept making wrong turns and couldn’t follow the gps... the first time I used them a few months ago they didn’t pick me up from my appointment and I had to Uber home, something I can barley afford. I should have learned my lesson the first time but now with Over all terrible experience, I well never use them again.
The cars are all super ghetto, the door handles are broken off or the backs of seats are missing, trash in the backseat. The drivers are super unprofessional, theyre talking on their phone while driving or sending voice messages complaining to their boss about whatever. If they just HAVE to get another pickup they dont give a care that youll be 30 minutes late to by our appointment. Go with any other service if possible, I have no idea how this is an actual medicaid transportation theres just no way. Uber drivers are better than this.
No one is perfect, there is always room for improvement. Buffalo Transportation is a very good company. Weve used 2 others and by far this is a superior company.I have only a couple of complaints. I understand drivers run early, but they have been as early as one hour. That leaves my husband arriving much too early and sitting & waiting. I try to push out his pick up by an extra half hour in case the doctor is running late. This works well. No problems. The front office staff needs some extra training in customer service. Unfortunately I havent had a good experience with them at all. Ive been hung up on and treated abruptly. I spent 33 years in the customer service industry and know how busy it can be manning the phones. I spent 10 years working for my grandparents back in the 80s & 90s when they owned an ambulance/wheelchair service. I know how difficult it is manning the phones and dispatching. However, thats no reason to be rude.We had one VERY BAD experience. Our driver, a female, was unprofessionally dressed, blasted obscene music, drove about 75 miles an hour on the thruway, took the long way around (I think she was lost) and it took 45 minutes to get home when it should have taken 20 minutes. The music was absolute filth, and Im no prude. My husband battled prostate cancer and now is having total left hip replacement. Spending 45 minutes sitting in a vehicle is not possible. He cant sit that long and has to use the bathroom after 30 minutes. One other problem was due to Medicaid. A very nice young lady explained to me that Medicaid downloads the trips to the system the day before. Sometimes MEDICAID does not do it properly. The company can see the trip, but it does not transfer to their system. The young lady did apologize and tried to correct the situation but my husband would have been too late for his appointment so we had to reschedule. NOT Buffalo Transportations fault.I book all trips through the MAS system. Any Special Requests I make they honor without a problem. They are the ONLY company that pulls into my driveway for pick up and drop off.I am thankful they are 24/7. My husband has surgery coming up and they are the only company who are available to drive us in for his 6am check in. I have us scheduled for a 4:30am pick up. I just hope theyre not an hour early that day!
Horrible, Ive had so many patients that our offices have to call for their ride multiple times and the drivers never come on time. I had a patient in a wheelchair and had to wait on that van to get home. He was waiting for almost 3 hours and their office was 5 minutes from us. Terrible service just because it may be provided through health insurance or whatever the case may be. This company needs to be taken over by new management who knows how to deliver great customer service regardless of how the service is funded.
I have been hung up 3 times by this company attempting to get a return of funds after they refused to pick up an individual for non payment when they in fact had at their office a check for payment in full that had been overnighted to them. Furthermore they refused to return the check; having given me their address previously as to where to send payment as I had called to make sure my client would be transported to his appointment.
The drivers are great, However the service that the company provides to the elderly and disabled, isnt the greatest. There are times one calls to schedule their appointment three days in advance and you have to call the company back the day of your appointment to remind them to pick you up. Ive been told excuses such as , the appointments were never put in by the staff. I hope this company begins to provide better customer service.
I love it because it helps me go to my doctors that I need to go to without this I dont know what I would do! The drivers are friendly, and they make sure that your safely secured during your ride and they drive carefully to take you where you need to go and the always end time to pick you up for your doctors appointment and picks you up to return ride home without waiting too long! And they know exactly where to go and how to get there without any problems very professional! I will keep using them for my rides!
So my rehab facility books some our residents transportation thru buffalo transport. And I go with many residents on appointments as an aid. Anytime I see buffalo transportation as the transport provider I want to died. I know that with a doubt that if buffalo transport is picking my resident up I need to bring food cause we will be stuck at an appointment for hours trying to get a return ride. I called at 1:50 today for a return ride and its 2:52 now. I called at 2:10 and they informed me it would be 15 mins. I could get a uber here in 5 mins!! I recommend Aries
My family has been using Buffalo Transportation for a couple of years now and I can proudly say that we appreciate the services that they have completed for my disabled grandfather. The drivers are always professional, polite, friendly and are always on time. We have never had an issue and will continue to support this company and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quick and efficient experience!
Used this company for the first time today. My driver (Josh) was absolutely amazing and i thoroughly enjoyed traveling with him. I will absolutely use this service again if i can have him for the driver. Well mannered... very respectful.... good job Josh.... and thank u
I have this service setup for my father in law and it’s pretty great and convenient people come to door and pickup the passenger, help them in and out of a wheelchair accessible car, and some people are pretty nice and friendly and are always happy to help and wait if you need a couple minutes for yourself so altogether it’s a pretty great service for disabled and elderly people and it’s safe..
My family has been using Buffalo Transportation for all of my fathers medical appointments for years. They are reliable and its very easy to schedule pick up and drop off times. The drivers have always been kind and help him in and out of the van. I highly recommend this company for any medical transportation needs!
Had to wait a month for an appointment with dr. Prearranged with Buffalo Transportation for round trip. Called multiple times when they were not on time. Lost the appointment because they were not on time. Called and asked for a supervisor hung up on twice. They did not care, would not do a thing to make it right. Now I have to wait another month. I will never use this service again.
They don’t show up on time. I was late for my appointment because of them so I ended requesting a Lyft so I wouldn’t miss the appointment. I requested their return service and they told me that my cab would be there in 20 - 30 mins. I called back at 40 mins asking for an ETA and was told the cab was 7 mins away. 20 mins later and I called back to see what was going on. The cab eventually showed up 10 mins later. When he did show up he was eating a Burger - seems like he bought it en route and that’s probably why it took so long. Then he had to do another pick up. It was the most frustrating and annoying ride. I waited so long and then had to wait while he picked up someone else. The free ride wasn’t worth the headache.
Absolutely by far the worst company known to western New York. Because they offer the cheapest rate for anyone on Medicaid, they are in business. Vile communication from the receptionist. Doesnt matter which one you just stuck with. Inconsiderate and UNSAFE drivers. Have videos and pictures to prove it. Notice the only positive feedback on this company are people with no description or responses.Thats because theyre fake. All the other 100 reviews are negative. Youre better off with a serial killer from uber. Theyll get it over with. This company will have you sit in the cab with other clients for 6 hours, driving all over the area after theyve caused you to miss your appointment because they were over 45 minutes late. The better business bureau will be contacted, along with Medicaid fraud department. Lets face it, we know youre get paid regardless. Why youre so lenient with youre unprofessional drivers. Disgraceful, disgusting, fraudulent company. Maybe if this company was charged with the late fees and missed appointments due to their own negligence things would change? Probably not. Enjoy pocketing New York States tax payers money. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I dont know how these people still have contracts. They are Never on time, usually trashy or rude, I was in a van that had all the check engine lights on before. Rarely do I get a safe driver. They are on their phones. If you call about your transportation they always have some generic BS response. They have made my pregnancy commutes a freaking nightmare.
On or about 9/7/2018 I called to set-up transportation for my Dad. His appointment was on 9/18/2018 the time was 9AM they told me his pick-up time would be 8AM. The appointment was set with Buffalo Transportation to pick him up. Because I called for transportation 2 weeks in advanced, I call on 9/15/2018 to confirm his transportation! Appt confirmed. On 9/24/18 at 8:04 no driver ever showed up. So I called Buffalo Transportation they advised me to give it 15min a driver will be arriving. At 8:19 no driver! I called Buffalo Transportation again, this time I get they are running behind, give it another 15min. At 8:34 No Driver! So I called again, this time when I called I was told that their was no driver assigned to my Dad, I was very upset and stated that I called 2weeks in advance to set this up, His appointment is at 9Am, and you Have no driver! Really, can I speak to a Manager, I was told he would not be in for another half-hour. This company is always late, dont call person, and now did not even show-up. I already changed transportation companies for my Dad. I would never recommend Buffalo Transportation to anyone. Poor business and Customer Service.
I would give them a 4 stars for service as far as being on time (I scheduled ahead online), and getting me to my destination on time. However, I will give them one star because they robbed me.I had a flat rate as a student to the train station, $39, and it was me and my one friend going there. When the woman arrived and we got in the van, she began to drive away and was very friendly, asking questions. Once we got far enough from where she picked us up, she asked how much time we had to get to the train station. We didnt have very much. She then said something along the lines of, very casually, My boss is making me charge double today, and went on to change the subject. She knew I was in a vulnerable position, needing to catch a train hours home. There are two reasons that I did not fight her when she said that: I had never taken a taxi before, only Uber, so I had little idea of how they work, and I had an important train to catch and no time to leap out with my friend and attempt to get another taxi in time.I had only $39 in cash, so she made me pay the other $39 for my friend with a card, meaning I got one receipt for $39 and she obviously pocketed the cash. Yes, I know Im an idiot, but this woman preyed upon a couple of college kids and is definitely scum for doing that. I know now that I should have requested a receipt for both, meaning shed only take $39 because there is no double charge.
My father in law Al Knight got a wheel chair van a month ago which he needed assistance so they sent two people to help.First of all they Didnt help him so i ended up getting him down the stairs into his wheel chair then after he got done with the doctors they never showed up to get him so after an hour and a half i had to pick him up. He was never reimbursed his money which he was promised. Calling the better business bureau tomorrow.
I work for the company, we do a great job. If Medicaid and some clients would connect better Id guarantee that are timing would improve. You cant send us to wrong addresses, cancelled appointments or facilities where the aides are late or they dont have one willing to go and we have to wait 15 minutes by company and Medicaid policy before we can go to the next call and sole blame us for being late to come and pick up you who has actually done everything correctly for your pick up. Although we as the people coming to pick you up understand how you feel this is what we dealing with 7 days a week. We at Buffalo Transportation do our best to provide great service to each and every person who rides with us and we appreciate you as well as your business. I in BST VAN29 look forward to seeing you if need be, in your time of need.
This would be a three star rating if not for the drivers. Ive used this service over a dozen times and only had one driver I wouldnt consider professional. Aside from that one, theyve all been great. My two latest were Christine T (car 173), and Kandra. They are the perfect example of personable and accommodating Ive found with most BT drivers. The only real problem Ive ever had with BT is punctuality, but thats as much a dispatch issue as anything else.I would definitely recommend BT, but schedule pick ups a little early.
Talking about a company who doesnt have they stuff together. Called for a medicaid ride call back. Waited for 45min. Just to call back and find out the never sent a ride and then said itll be additional 30min wait...like are you serious very unprofessional or train your dispatch correctly . I will be complaining to the owners of company... Very upset .very disappointed
My dad had two appointments in one day, multiple hours apart. The transportation was scheduled for 2 round trips. The staff took it upon themselves to cancel the second trip. When my mother called and ask where they were they advised the same and were well over an hour late to pick my dad up for his medical appointment. And well over an hour late to take him home. The man just had back surgery and cannot move well, this dumb mistake has a ripple effect that Buffalo Transport does not feel.
My handicap sister have been a rider of Buffalo Transportation for about a year, and I will have to say we have been very disappointment with their services. We missed many appointments due to the vehicle coming in very late! They operator tell you something different every time and half the time the rides don’t even come according to what they say. I don’t see ourself pursuing with Buffalo Transportation any longer.
I schedule transportation for seniors, and I do everything I can to avoid this company. They must have a deal with medicaid to make people ride with them for doctors appointments, thats the only way i can see them getting return business. Medicaid doesnt give you a choice. Their cars are dirty, and their drivers and dispatchers are rude. Today I had an extremely important appointment scheduled for a senior, they were an hour and a half late. The dispatchers dont even check, they just tell you the car is a few minutes away every time. The senior told me that someone urinated on the seat and it wasnt cleaned, they had to sit in urine for the entire ride. Thats disgusting. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who rides with this company.
The staff and service at Buffalo Transportation is second to none. My grandfather has used all of the Medical Transportation companies in the WNY area and refuses to work with anyone but Buffalo Transportation. They are always on time (or even early) and are always sure to make sure he is comfortable and safe from pick up to drop off. He swears by them!
Not sure if they deserve one star. I happen to visitA family member at a local hospital, literally 5 days in a row the medical van is late over 3 hours andHeard the nurse argue with a customer service person and dispatch telling them that they run out of gas and one day had multiple flat tires!!!!!Do not use unless they change. Can’t wait for uber medical transport.
Arrived at airport and called for a cab back to my University campus. Caller told me to wait 45 minutes which was okay. However, I waited 10 minutes and a cab driver called me saying that he will be here in 5 minutes. Driver came within 5 minutes and was very polite. Would recommend this cab service to anyone.
Would write less than one star if possible. NEVER EVER had a cab arrive on time or even had one call to say they were late. You call them its 6 minutes away wait 30 minutes and it will be there in a half hour. Worst transportation company ever no idea how they are still in business if you get the choice do not ever ride with them. Staff is rude, unprofessional, and the vehicles are very poorly maintained and every one ive been in has stunk or been filthy.
They Was A Whole Hour Late To Pick Me Up . Finally When They Picked Me Up , The Driver Was Driving Under The Speed Limit ! I Missed My Appointment And Couldnt Reschedule Untill A Month Later And I Really Needed To Make This Appointment. I Will Never Use Their Service Again !
Drivers and dispatch are unprofessional. No supervisor @ 5:57 12/20/2018 pm to handle a unprofessional driver, you have to wait the next day to speak to a Govini. I asked the driver for his Van # and was questioned Why, yall must be having a bad day after refusing to help a ambulatory resident to his unit. (MAS payrate was for amb. not taxi) Had to walk out to the van just to get # (Van 327) If you use MAS you have options you do not have to chose this company. Company should revamp their customer service!
Pick was set for 2:30p. Never communicated that that pick up window was a half hour. At 3:15p Spent 15 mins on hold. Still no answer. Spoke to dispatch, who’s supervisor name is Gary with a last name that start with a Y but has not idea what it’s is. Who does know their boss’ last name. Supposedly they will be here at 4:07p. Will see it this is correct.
Always late. Had to reschedule my appointment twice this week. Today I literally waited outside in the freezing cold for an hour, because they said they would be there and when I called they kept say 3 more minutes, 3 more minutes, and then they refused to answer me. So done with this company! Very unprofessional, unsafe, and just plain rude.
My client & I got a ride to the emergency room & when going back didnt know it was going to be such a hassle .we had terrible customer service with the representative. She was very sassy,no mannerism, huffing& puffing ,yelling though the phone. because we didnt have the Hospital call medicaid first. Were still waiting 2 hours later.
This company is terrible. I hired them to bring my mother home from the hospital. They were told ahead of time that I had 3 stairs and my husband would help if needed. They sent my mother home with a woman driver who stated she had never been trained on stairs. Consequenly, my husband brought the wheelchair up the stairs while the woman stabilized the foot rests. If I had wanted him to do that we could have brought her home ourselves without hiring a van service. The manager(?) I spoke with was unapologetic and offered no compensation. As a former nurse manager who dealt with many van services, I can state without hesitation, this company is one of the worst in my book.
Worse place to work for, and to have provide transportation. The owners are big heads and think they are better than everyone they don’t care abt anyone but their money, they try to find anyway to scam cars have bed bugs and so does their office nowhere is safe there. If you can get other service DO SO, they had serveral accidents they try to sweep under the rug. Drivers smoke cigarettes and weed also have a driver tht drinks on a daily basics. The good reviews are from employees NOT actually customers
I have been using these guys for years now, for both Taxi and medical transportation, and Despite a few hiccups I will say Buffalo Transportation has always been very easy to communicate with and accountable. Over the yeats I have only had a few issues, but any issue I have they get back to me real quick and they fix it, it doesn’t happen the next time. Can’t ask for better than that.
Buffalo Transportation takes my grandmother to and from her medical appointments when necessary. I cannot explain what a relief it is knowing that she is in great hands when i am unable to take her. The drivers and phone operators are always nothing but polite ..and some even funny, makes an already uncomfortable situation for her that much more easy. Absolutely would recommend to anyone!
I have no choice but to go with Buffalo transportation through Medicaid because thats the only choice they give. They have Never been on time Ever. Their company is almost always an hour to two hrs late and Ive had to cancel several appointments because of it . Wouldnt recommend to nobody!!!
The worse service you can spect from this people ....fast hahaha funny for my appoiment the driver was a hour late and a few times to get to me home two hours so fast service call speedy Gonzalez dont waitFor this company to get u on time and realible hahahahaba sure if u want to miss your appoiment you can call Buffalo Tranportation.why I give this company one star? I feel sorry for the people who depend on Buffalo transportation please look for another company this is the worse if you are dying you have more opportunity to be on time to see the doctor taking the bus. This was the last chance Im done with this company.
These mfs dont even deserve 1 star. Not all, but most of the drivers are ignorant and like to argue with you or yell at you. I absolutely do not feel safe with them. If youre looking for a cab I hope you see this message. I DEFINITELY do not recommend them. Despicable people. Could explain the terrible rating.
So far been riding with buffalo trans. For a good 4 years I have no complaints Ive been driving with car 29 or 27 Ive rode with 29 the longest and hes very punctual and polite. He can also be a very humorous guy. Some ppl have rhier own opinions but this driver could relate to just about anyone.
Hired them to transport a wheelchair bound family member from nursing home to family party. All details and payment were arranged in advance. Driver was an hour late and had a lousy attitude. Of course they got lost and which made them even more late. Expressed our displeasure with the service to the driver and was told we would get a call from the Owner to discuss. Of course they never called. No suprise there. Thank goodness for lyft and uber.
I have been riding with buffalo trans for a little less then a year. i had pretty good service with the same cab driver. she got fired and i recieved a new cab driver. she was always coming at different times and the last 3 weeks i rode with her she smoked pot twice in the van. i go to a methadone program. i have been clean for 18yrs. i do not need to get a dirty for breathing in fumes. i told someone at the company i did not get a name but was told if they believed everyone that called in we would have none working for us. that is a poor excuse. DO A DRUG SCREEN. on top of that she was having people sign her sheet so she could get paid and not drive them. that is why there is not enough funds for people that need transportation. everything i have said can vbe proven.
Booked their cab twice to the airport and twice they DID NOT show up!! No calls no apologies just did not appear! When I called in the first time they didnt even pick up until an hr later. The second time they just told me they had no record of me reserving a cab! Never again! Almost missed my flight as a result of their unreliable business!
This transportation center is terrible on taking responsibility for the passagers. The diver doesnt know the flat rates for the order and charge us 26$ per head!!! Not recommended! When we call back to the center, the staff doesnt seem like want to give back our money! Tell us to call back on the day we want to book another taxi! Irresponsible!
This is the third time Ive used buffalo transportation for my client. The first time I was supposed to have a 12:45 p.m. pick up for a 1:45 p.m. appointment and at 1 oclock when no driver had showed I began the hour long process on the phone to be told that no one showed up because buffalo transportation set the pick up time for 10:15 p.m.. the second time the driver showed up just a couple minutes late and we made it to the appointment on time and the return trip although took a while for the driver to get to us came and got us home in a reasonable time. Today for our third trip our pick up driver was about 15 minutes early and got us to the appointment very early my problem today however is that I called for a return trip I have been waiting with my client for over an hour I called to see where our driver is and was told that because I need a wheelchair van for the little girl I take care of the wheelchair vans are behind and its going to be at least another half an hour. This is a ridiculous time to be waiting for a return cab especially because we have to wait outside because the office is closed!!!! Not to mention if there will be a wait we should be told!!!!! I am very angry and Im going to look into another company we can ride with. We always have a lot of appointments to go to and with the weather starting to turn to call this is unacceptable. This child should not be stuck outside like this for so long especially with how easily she gets sick!!!!
If I could use a negative review number I would. The owner, Gary Yusbashev, is conceited and ill tempered. He says he has an open door policy but when you knock on his door he goes into a tirade. When complaining about conditions of vehicles and other ideas to make the job better he says to employees that they can find work elsewhere. The medical vans instrument warning panels light up like Christmas trees. Check engine lights are on in every vehicle. Very unsafe. I dont see no way no how should these vehicles be DOT safe. Someone from the state needs to look into this deplorable company.
I decided to take this cab from UB North to Amtrak Depew. It was my first time trying this company. First of all, the cab was twenty minutes late. The driver had no idea where to pick me up and I ended up having to walk to where he was, and he did not even apologize. The cab itself was distgusting. There were stains and groceries everywhere. Not to mention, it smelled like weed! The driver took the longest route on purpose, and gave me an attitude when I brought up the fixed rate that UB students get. Im the one who should be giving him an attitude, I almost missed my train! He also brought along a friend for the ride who made the most disgusting, lewd comments about women that we passed on the street. I will never again take this cab service.
For whatever reason, this company is unable to send the right vehicle to pick up someone for an appt. My friend has now missed 5 appts in the past 3 months because he requires a bigger transport and the send a regular one. Its beyond comprehension as to why it KEEPS HAPPENING.
This has got to be the most irresponsible transportation service in Buffalo. One of their drivers nearly caused a t-bone accident by NOT yielding to the right of way. Oh, and my THREE YEAR OLD was in the car AND Im SIX MONTHS PREGNANT. The driver didnt even bother to stop and check on us while we were sitting on the side of the road with brake fluid gushing out of my car. Thankfully I narrowly avoided what could have been a horrid accident, but am now faced with a $300 brake repair that I should NOT be responsible for. They were initially very polite and receptive of my complaint when I called, swearing that theyd see to it and that this is a rare occurance - but two days later and theyve yet to get back to me. I can only assume that this conpany has zero regard for public safety. There are too many transportation options in this area to place your life in such irresponsible hands - go elsewhere.
Half of the employees are convicted felons one of the big guys is a violent sex offender drugged 2 females and had sex with them in 2003.... Did 5 yrs in state penitentiary...Drivers are extremely rude phone operaters very rude.Cars are not safe at all for employees or clients....daytime disbatcher is very vulgar to the drivers. This company is a joke
Terrible treatment! Put my 83 year old dad on a bare stretcher. No sheet, blanket or pillow. Drove dad to Dunkirk blaring rap music. Took a wrong turn. A 1 hr trip took nearly 2 hrs. When I called the office, the staff denied that they even transported dad. Complaint filed with ECMC. Will contact the BBB!
I have a feeling we were the first group that Buffalo Transportation has ever shuttled to and from a stadium; namely Ralph Wilson stadium to see the Rolling Stones. Well let me just tell you that I hope they are as happy with us as we are with them!!! Our party of 21 people had the most fun and fantastic time on that mini-bus. Speaking for myself, I had a better time on the shuttle ride than I even did at the concert. A big fat Thank you to the crew who helped me put it together: Tiffany, Gary, Victor, maybe a Rhonda(?), and of course, our extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful busdriver- Alex. And thank you also for not overcharging, like so many other companies do.
They always come way to early or way too late. I can deal with that. But the thing I am absolutely done with, is how DISGUSTING thier vehicles are. I wash everything my kids and I wear after being in those cars. Who knows what gross diseases, germs, bugs...whatever it may be. We need transportation because we are Ill. I DO NOT need to catch anything and bring it into my home because they are too lazy to clean and sanitize. Oh and the vehicles always smell like smoke. Never again!
These drivers are horrible. They nearly caused accidents on two separate occasions, gave me the finger, and when I called their number with the license plate information the dispatch lady wouldnt let me speak to a manager. Highly unprofessional business and hazardous on the road.
&%$*!. Apparently, this transport company is based out of Hamburg, NY, and there was a delay to Williamsville. Maybe they had to make a pit stop at the Erie County Fair beforehand for a deep fried twinkie and that delayed the transport. My mom was supposed to be transferred from Millard Fillmore Suburban to Brothers of Mercy at 5:00pm yesterday, and the nitwits didnt show up until 9:45pm. I think Millard Fillmore would be better off contracting w/ U-Haul than these chumps. I will be reporting this half-baked company to the BBB.
If there were a way I could give no stars to this company I would. The driver on our way to the hospital was rude, sped on the 198 highway, and drove crossing two lanes on the 190. Later, the company lost our pickup order for the return trip leaving us stranded at the medical facility. I cannot think of a less competent service.
Cab suppose to be here at 7am got a call saying will arrive at720 then received another call saying my ride will arrive at 732. Called to question when will they be coming was told werr running a couple seconds behind.to be patient and then they hung up on me.This is my first and last time
One of your drivers aggressively cut me off, stopped, cursed at me, then spit at my vehicle. Why? Because i pulled over and waited for emergency vehicles to pass by. Disgusting behavior from a professional driver even after i pointed out the situation (which was apparent with five emergency vehicles at the intersection)

I set up a cab to get to appointments that were multiple days in a row. Turned out I didn’t need the cabs for those days since I wasn’t going to that place anymore. I called and canceled for those appointments and they keep sending the drivers anyways and I called a few days in a row.

2022-06-07I seriously advise anyone from using this service. They left my mother (who is unable to walk well) stranded for over two hours. Might I add, the doctors office in which she waited, closed, and was left waiting for the rain in which I had to leave work to pick her up. What we thought was a reliable service, turned into a nightmare for my mother. The customer service representative and manager were snarky when I called. No one called us to tell us the wait for pick up would have been over 2 hours, and if I had known that, I wouldve made arrangements. Apparently their customers should just wait and hope their ride shows up. I never normally write reviews but I advise others and their families from putting themselves in a similar situation.

2022-04-19When my mother was in the hospital this is the company that they insisted that she be transported to rehab by. I was told to call their main number and speak to a representative. I had to give my CC# with all of its payment details over the phone to a woman who was very rude. When I commented that the company should have a different more secure way of doing these transactions she yelled at me. Once this transaction is done I am canceling my card as doing business with this company feels like having to grab your keys from the bottom of a sanitary sewer. Buffalo needs Better!

2022-05-10I was skeptical about using Buffalo Transportation after reading a lot of these reviews. I guess, everyone has there own personal experience, but mine was fantastic. I was picked up and dropped off on time if not a couple minutes early.P.S Thank you to the ladies on the phone for sending me Jerry as my driver!

2022-03-04As a business owner myself, I have to say that their service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Call the night before to verify a ride and then the day of ride no show or no call. Every time we call they hang up because they know there in the wrong. Suppose to have pick up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 am for my daughter to go to a program and they either done show or call and never show up. If they do answer the phone then the say that they don’t have a ride scheduled but can get to later in the day. Daughters program starts at 9:00 am, NOT whenever they can get her there

2022-03-15I wouldn’t recommend anyone who cares about there loved ones to use them, they don’t care about the needs of handicapped customers I called them to schedule a ride for my mother in a wheelchair and I didn’t know her weight so I was treated like I slept with the operator she was very nasty with helping me and then I called back with my mothers weight and got another operator which I was like thank god it wasn’t the same operator but I heard the operator from my previous call in the background saying my mothers name to the dispatch I was talking to and then I was put on hold and then hung up on twice! I wouldn’t recommend them at all, I called Liberty Yellow and got treated with respect and my mother was picked up for her appointment.

2022-05-25While driving to church this evening, we saw one of these drivers doing over 90 mph on route 5 in Buffalo, NY. I was in his way, while traveling at a rate of 60 mph. He became irate and then gave me the one finger salute. Not only was this driver acting in an unprofessional manner towards my wife and I, his driving was extremely dangerous. He cut people off and sped through Lackawanna with no regard for the law. He was driving in Van #31. He should lose his license and be imprisoned, but no police officers were near. His job should be in question as a result of his dangerous behavior.Wed. 25 May. 2022

2022-03-23They are not punctual! They know that my father-in-law needs to be picked up at 2:30 for dialysis, yet they still arrive 40 minutes late. I get it if they are 5-10 minutes late, but 40 minutes is unacceptable. They need to have a better staff who actually care! I hope they do something about this. It’s a shame for a company to have so many bad reviews!

2022-02-04I would only give negative stars for this service. I work in the medical field and have worked with several transport companies but after researching this company and seeing that the MAJORITY of the 277 reviews are negative I would never suggest this company. My sister missed a MAJOR surgery yesterday due to the incompetence, unprofessionalism and flat out ignorance of this company. I will be contacting the BBB as well as an atty. this company was contracted through Roswell Cancer Center and thought that it would be reputable. Carol was extremely rude and incompetent. I feel this company is detrimental to patients health. Not sure who this supervisor arson is but he is not doing a very good job. Not sure how they stay in business.

2022-05-28The absolute WORST transportation service in WNY. Plan on being late every time IF they show up at all. Drivers AND dispatch are rude beyond forgiveness. Especially an office worker named Hailey. She is beyond ignorant. Dont even bother trying to set up a ride
