Cute nature walk. Small forest trail that winds past the water.

It is an amazing place to visit when you are traveling eastern long island. The foundation works very hard to preserve precious land and the beautiful animals that live there. The foundation also has a wonderful location for an outdoor event.

As boat owners and nature lovers, we were very excited to have a day off together to go walk the paths here. We were stopped and told that there was no public parking and that a summer camp was in progress. There were plenty of spots available and the camp was playing in the field. I dont quite understand why we would be turned away as we would be out of their way. For money to be spent on this project to encourage preservation and the appreciation of the creek, I was extremely disappointed.
