Wife and I were looking for a tree to put in our front yard and had some issues with our yard and the placement of the tree we chose. We had all resolved from talking to Kat, Sally, Dan and front desk associate Stephanie. Super helpful, patient and knowledgeable, Kudos to these four 🙂 👍🏼
Since we discovered Hafners we come here frequently. If you like you always can buy an item - indoors or outdoors. Well structured and organized and clean. The quality of the products is excellent;so is the service: I called for a certain plant and after writing down my request and phone number I have been told they will call back. And! Yes. After waiting a few weeks I received the call on Saturday and picked them up today. Excellent! Thank you.
Two years ago we lost our father to Covid. On the anniversary of his passing, 3/30, my mother, sisters and I spend the day together eating and shopping. This year we took a ride from about 45-50 mins away because we love plants and just wanted to see all the beautiful houseplants that Hafners had to offer. We are seriously like kids in a candy store when it comes to plants! There was a worker, Morgan, out in the greenhouse with a huge cart of beautiful little 2” plants. She was in the middle of tagging them and after asking her a couple questions, and being excited about all the different baby plants that we did not yet have in our collections, we could clearly tell that we were bothering her. We left her alone and continued looking in other areas. About 30-45 mins later, we asked her if she could possibly tag the plants we wanted to purchase, as we were ready to head out, and she became very aggravated with us. We again stepped away so that we were not causing her any stress and she proceeded to take the entire cart out of the greenhouse and disappeared. We walked around another 30 minutes or so and she was never seen again. We decided then to just cash out, as she clearly did not want us to be able to make the purchases we were hoping for. This was one of the worst customer service experiences that we have ever encountered and it definitely makes us think twice about making a special trip out to this greenhouse ever again. Very sad!
This company no longer provides acceptable customer service. I bought a $300 tree and prepaid installation by them, totaling $578. After several days, I never got a callback for installation appointment as promised. I called them. Both Customer service and the floor manager had a flip “we are doing you a favor selling you this tree” attitude. No info available. Landscape install different company, they’re closed for the whole July 4th holiday long weekend.Wow. I decided to spend my money elsewhere. Requested a cancellation. When she was hanging up, this “manager” said “thank you for making space for someone else” and laughed.Go elsewhere. These people have brass ones. Been in business way too long.
Great produce and reasonable prices for them, other items are quite over priced. They have little statues for your yard or garden for example, but they are way over priced. Their costs for these items can be almost 200% over what can be found elsewhere. The plants they have are fairly good, better than most. Prices for those are a little high, but they have high exposure in the area and have become synonymous with these items.Checking out is fairly fast but we havent been here on really busy days.Just stopped in again, but after Christmas for their clearance items. Just as before, very nice products but a bit over priced. Even at 50% off, things seemed too expensive.
Awesome, experience everytime I go...you could get lost in the amount of plants throughout the buildings. Staff always attentive and goes out of their way to help...Chad in the garden center always seems to be working when we go and we look for him and his expertise, he has not steered us wrong yet! People like this is why we come back to Hafners every season...Hafners its the one stop, plant shop! Every season every day! Cg
My mom regularly shops here for her annuals, but Ive never been. This year we made it a family shopping experience with my mom, my dad, my son & myself of course. I was in shock at just the enormous size of the place & the incredible variety of plants they have. When you first walk in it is like a regular store/gift shop with anything and everything you can imagine. Then it branches out into greenhouses and the back is open air gardens, trees and shrubs in abundance. My mom filled her cart full of plants, I bought the most beautiful hydrangea, and hanging plant for my front porch (still looks as perfect as the day I bought it) and my son got a stuffed animal of course. We will all be back and I have been bragging to everyone that this is the place to get your garden goodies from.
The good - Chuck Hafners has the largest, most diverse selection of plants in the Syracuse area. There are ample perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, vegetable plants, and houseplants to choose from. There is a large outdoor area with many trees and shrubs to select from, and there is a host of succulents, ferns, bonsai trees, and terrarium plants available. There are some native species available including Autumn, Sensitive, and Maidenhair ferns. The bad - Although it is a large garden center I find that it lacks diversity in the varieties of plants offered. Some things are poorly labeled, some plants even lack a proper name - something that I expect at a hardware store maybe, but it seems unacceptable at a garden center. They also sell invasive species including burning bush, despite knowing these plants are a problem in the state of New York. Retailers should be held more accountable for the plants they sell to customers, as they have more resources and tools at their disposal and have the ability to find alternatives to offer customers instead. Finally, Chuck Hafners is on the pricier side, although there are a few clearance sections you can sometimes get lucky in.
Very disappointed. We spent over $3000 at Haefners this summer. We planted a dogwood that instantly got torched by the June hot spell. We planted all our other trees from Haefners and they are thriving. I called and they will only give 50% back. Absolute insanity the tree died within a week of having it. Every other nursery offers a year warranty. Haefners lost our business and I will not recommend to friends.
Last year I found a beautiful infinity tree at the store and didn’t buy it. I went back and it was gone. This year it was back! I wanted to give this to my daughter for Christmas. $80 later after the piece is shoved into a cardboard box with no tissue wrap or anything I get it home to find a chip and scratches all over it. I called to let someone know they said just bring the receipt. They’re did not mention their “policy” of 7 day return. I stopped in today to return it and of course it is past 7 day “policy”. I really wanted to give our local establishment some business. I brought my Sister in law here from NJ when she was visiting during Thanksgiving. We had lunch at their restaurant. I brought 5 people to shop and dine with this family business not to mention all of the lunch hours I’ve spent shopping here to find out dealing with this small business was nothing but a hassle. The manager made the comment that my tree didn’t leave the store looking like that. Yes it did! This plastic piece was crammed into a cardboard box with no protection. I’m very disappointed with my experience and must say I will not be shopping here any longer , very sad. You don’t blame the customer or accuse them of causing the damage. This is really a slap in the face since I pride myself in being honest and always doing the right thing.
Cant beat the price and quality of all there vegetables, flowers, and have everything a gardener would need and more.I do find their bags of topsoil and potting soil to be a little expensive. But if its as good as their other products it may be worth it.Cost half as much at a big box store, or buy a whole truckload dirt for a lot less.Still getting five stars. Awesome quality!
I worked for Chuck, and his wife, Linda, at the original farm stand 50 years ago. Seeing this massive, bright, well stocked store and greenhouse complex brings a smile to my face. This is a great place to get what you need and go, or spend hours just looking at stuff.
I posted several weeks ago about bulk top soil that I purchased. I was disappointed about the amount of debris in it. I screened it to remove same. Mr. Hafner made a generous offer of 5 free bags of premium top soil at no charge to ease my pain. I picked it up. I have used it previously. That time I poured it from bag onto lawn and raked. I was disappointed then with all of the debris in it. This year, while crawling around pulling weeds I notice what looked like peat moss in the lawn, at the base of the grass blades on top of the soil. I screened two of the bags that I just got. Pictures are attached. The bucket is from screening one bag. No stones, but, as advertised, organic debris, like sticks, and peat moss. Some of the peat moss is almost in almost a web form. I was glad it screened out. The soil itself seems perfect to grow new grass; it is light and airy and I do not think it will pack down like bulk soil does (which I expected). Also I was at a big box store and looked at closeout, premium top soil on close out. Some of the bags were ripped. Their soil was awful, lots of clay in it. Chucks is much better. Now I know that for me to be happy with top soil I have to screen it. You may be perfectly happy without doing so. I am glad that Chuck Hafners is close by. I will continue to be a regular customer; the vegetables this summer were awesome, and often priced well below the local grocery stores.THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE REVIEW I POSTED ABOUT A YEAR AGO. As I said then, I continue to be a customer at Hafners. Since I posted that review Hafners has, I believe, a new supplier for garden soil. For sure the packaging is different. I bought some of the newer product. It is virtually free of rocks and has only the smallest amount of wood bits. It is a much, much better product.
Customer service is lacking. Also workers driving power equipment should drive slowly and beep the horn when coming near customers. Work at lowes or home depot need spotters, this should be no different. Clearance section is ok. Still a little pricey. Good selections with plants otherwise, just top $$$ for many, and maneuvering around plants is easy. Pathway is clean and easy to walk around.
Like C Hafners....large, easy in and out parking. Huge clean and laid out well. More gardening plants, etc than veggies. Veggies look beautiful and are the same when prepared for the table. I find their prices to be somewhat high but as the old story goes, u get what u, etc.
I cannot give a high enough recommendation for Hafner’s Landscaping team based on our repeat experiences over the past year and a half.We met with Dan Metz in 2017 at our home to provide an estimate for landscaping our backyard. He listened to our goals, reviewed my many questions, design ideas, and measured our yard. Within a week he invited us to the nursery to review his design and they walked us around to see the plants and trees in person so we could really visualize the final project. The amount and variety of plants and trees combined with the design was by far the best, not to mention the experience, compared to four other vendors. We paid our deposit and got on the schedule as quickly as possible. The installation went smoothly and quickly and it looks even better in person. We love the finished design! The following spring, we hired them for pruning and spring “clean up.” They came quickly and worked efficiently to get our landscaping in great shape for the season. At that time, they noticed that a few of our shrubs did not make it, which they said were under warranty through the nursery. Without any issue, they came to replace them within a week or so.We have unfortunately had a situation this summer which required some plants be transplanted. Dan went ABOVE AND BEYOND in helping us. Dan, Doug and the office team have been patient and kind and more than helpful while making the best of a pretty crummy situation. Their support and dedication to help us, especially during such a BUSY season, definitely exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful.Throughout our entire experience, Dan, Doug and EVERYONE including the installation crew have been wonderful. They are a fantastic team of experienced professionals and we HIGHLY recommend them.If you are looking for professionals who produce high quality, beautiful landscaping designs that they stand behind… and if you are looking for fair, honest and GOOD business people, look no further than Hafner’s Landscaping team!
While this nursery/greenhouse is definitely not the closest to where I live, it is worth the drive, I was previously purchasing plants at Walmart and Lowes which saved me some money, but they werent nearly as nice, and the quality wasnt half as good as what I got at Hafners. Im glad to have found Hafners and it feels good to support a local business. I will definitely be back. My picture compares hanging baskets, the one on the right is from Lowes and cost $12.99 the one on the left is from Hafners and cost $24.99. This is what will keep me coming back year after year.
If you trying to find some fall family fun look no further. We love coming to Hafner during October. We spend 10 dollars for a single child and get to play for a couple hours at all the childrens activities. His favorites are all the free things. The big slide, tricycle, hay maze, and mini golf. They also have ticket attractions like a haunted house, face painting crafts and so much more. I think its best for age 3 to 12 as it is geared twords younger children. My son is 7 and its still the favorite fall activity.I also cant say enough about the friendly staff. One of the managers/owners heard us trying to tell my son that we didnt have enough tickets to both go in the haunted house and just gave us one ticket so we could both go.
I meet this wonderful Helpful sales Lady Karen, and we started talking about her 14 yr old Granddaughter. She wants to travel the world so I paid it forward and Suprised Karen with one of the World 🌎 Christmas ornament! She was Thrilled and told me no she couldnt except it. I said yes you can. She called me an angel 😇 and she also said she has only been pay it forward a doughnut 🍩.
Oh my goodness where do I start. Most of the vegetables were decently priced but not all. Food grown on the farm I would expect a little bit better pricing but if you dont mind spending more than they definitely have what you want. Hafners has always been very commercialized and it has been a very long time since I have been there but oh my goodness. They have everything you can need and more. My rating is more on the flower side since that was why I was there. All I can say I was in heaven to see all the varieties of plants, it was amazing. I really enjoyed going there.
Worst customer service...employees...smug and uncaring. Brought back plant purchased less than a week prior. Had concerns at Hafner’s when purchasing, but representative assured me it would be fine. Spent hundreds of dollars that day, along with encouraged family and friends, who also spent 100s each year. Never had an issue brought to their attention before but under the circumstances..after careful nurturing, under the guidance of their staff, plant was obviously not going to make it from the start. Staff insulting...lied about contacting the owner Chuck to speak with..after making me wait, as the cashier laughed..and other staffed walked away..then reluctantly gave credit of half value, even though I never wanted refund, just exchange...which they refused. My yearly family outing with family and friends..will be at someplace where they care more than just the day you cash out.
We buy our Xmas tree from Hafners every year. Have never been disappointed, do not expect we ever will. Very helpful associates and knowledgeable to boot. The store its self has every imaginable ornament for your tree and a great deal of decor for the rest of the house, including the kitchen. Highly recommend a visit for any and all Christmas needs.
They have a reasonably broad selection and quality seems good. Prices were fine. It can be a bit hard to find someone if you have questions, and their greenhouses arent organized in an obvious or meaningful way. For e.g., there are no signs to direct you to perrenials vs. annuals. And sometimes they are mixed together.
My husband and I really love this place and what they offer is nothing but superior quality of everything ! However, they close at 6:00 p.m. and we find that to be restrictive, so we would graciously suggest that they extend their hours. Maybe thats the plan after Memorial Weekend, but now is planting season. Oh well... He says Home Depot, Walmart and Lowes are ready to accept our money
Hafners is my favorite place to buy plants, bird seed, and fall mums and pumpkins! Plants are very well cared for and quality is excellent. Prices are reasonable, especially when considering the quality of their products and customer service in the nursery. Highly recommended!
By far the best nursery around. I strictly only buy from here, the best quality and choices to pick from. My trees, shrubs & flowers look great year after year. The place is just set up perfectly and is beautiful. Highly recommend, even if you live far away..,,definately worth the drive.
Beautifully setup garden center. You will pay a little more than the big box stores, but you will get excellent and knowledgeable service and high quality products. They take good care of their plants so you know that youre buying healthy flowers, trees, etc. We were able to show staff pictures of a plant at our home that we were not sure if it was a weed or a flower and get help because they actually know plants.
Wood Buyers beware. Purchased a Cord of wood for $145 delivered. Received 6x3x3 ( 54 cubic feet ) Cord is 128 cubic feet. .. RIPPED OFF!!!!I was told I got what a paid for by the manager and that they measured it. I measured it myself and knew when they dumped it that it looked short off a Cord.
This review is based solely on customer service. Hafners has the worst. They should invest time in training their staff to be friendly, welcoming and grateful to all the customers that shop there. There are other nurseries in the area that are very friendly with great selections.
Found ourselves a cute lil Xmas tree very reasonable price for our lil house. Love going there to pick it out. Always a nice selection, helpful staff and other cute stuff to look at. Great for those on a budget. $25 is all we paid. Perfect for us. Keep up the great work folks.
It has always been an excellent place to shop for garden, landscaping materials, Christmas items, trees, bushes and home landscaping design services. Some of the items are pricey but its good stuff. Customer service has always been good when I asked for help. Masks are required and social distancing expected.
Great gifts for women. Excellent produce. I love their community events. Loved the pottery sale with independent artists and the wild life rescue and education lady during Harvest Festival. Sadly, Im usually disappointed with the house plant selection and end up ordering on Amazon.
Our family lives going here for holiday events that are held here as they do an exceptional job of hosting these public events. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Their gift shop has a surprisingly wide variety of unique items for all family members with things you dont find elsewhere. Massive account of parking which is helpful with events.
Very nice garden sale. Check out their clearances at the end of season, and throughout on TLC plants. Great deals on plants that are still very healthy. We picked up a very interesting Japanese Maple earlier this season, that was struggling. A little bio tone, care, and time, and it is doing wonderful.
Shout out to Mike at Hafners Farmers Market. He helped my first visit to this massive store and greenhouse to be a very enjoyable experience. I walked in not quite sure what I needed and walked out with everything I would have hoped for. Not being familiar with caring for plants or repotting, I left with confidence that Id be good to go! Youll know Mike by his gold and silver Italian horn necklaces. Hope he isnt bugged by me for all the customers Im probably sending his way for an awesome customer service experience! Thanks again!
This is a great garden center! Its huge, deffinately one of the best selections in the area. Tons of greenhouses and indoor space, just walking through it is relaxing. They have an ice cream cafe and sometimes host yoga and other events, which adds to the fun. They always have lots of plants market down (sometimes due to damage, other times for random seasonal sales) even plants that are only slightly less full than there neighbors are marked down, making it easy to get a good deal. Personally I love there selection of terrarium plants. They have a decent selection of cacti and succulents at very competitive prices (selection good but not great) and a very large selection of tropical terrarium plants. Great store!
Hafners is amazing - probably the best garden center in the entire area. They pretty much have everything you can think of - from garden supplies and tool to vegetables, trees, and an amazing array of flowers. Whether you are walking around inside or outside the attentive and professional staff is right there to give you a hand with any questions you may have. They also offer delivery and home services as well!
Lots to see, I think they have 7 greenhouses. Just tons of flowers. It was very clean with workers cleaning and restocking flowers. I even had a employee ask me if I needed help finding anything, dont see that much more. As far as the price goes they are on the high end. But in saying that you get what you pay for.
They may not be the cheapest, but they have the healthiest and largest selection of plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. With this sort of thing being a you get what you pay for, at least you get great quality for the price. Ive tried other places and have been disappointed. Ill never go anywhere else now.
Good place to buy flower& vegetable plants. They also sell fresh fruits and vegetables from their farm. Prices are reasonable & items are usually picked same day. There are small gourmet type items for sale behind the fresh offerings - jams, jellies, mustards, etc. Place is very clean & staff are friendly and helpful.
Ive been buying my flowers from Chucks for over 20 years! They are absolutely beautiful, healthy, and sure to last all season long! I would never buy any of my plants or flowers from anywhere else. Absolutely the biggest and best selection! Just so pleased every time! And.. I always get the nicest compliments on how beautiful my flowers look. THANKS CHUCK HAFNERS!!!
This store has the most beautiful merchandise. This store is definitely one of my favorite places to shop. Especially at Christmas time. The merchandise is so unique and gorgeous. And whoever does the arranging does a fantastic job. They have a real creative knack. I think that the floor help could be friendlier. And not seem so suspicious of customers. Otherwise this is a fantastic store!
We love having a fire in our wood-burning fireplace insert, but weve been frustrated in a search for a good firewood source. Weve ordered firewood from different places each year that weve been here, but have never been satisfied... until, that is, someone mentioned Hafners to us. This is the first year weve ordered from them, and we will not go anyplace else. The wood is expensive, but they delivered it when promised, and the wood was uniformly cut, to length, clean, and seasoned. Its more expensive than other places, but we wont be ordering from anyplace else from now on. Thanks, Hafners!
I love going to Chuck Hafners. Ive been getting plants, veggies and gifts there for a long time. Its a beautiful place to walk around and visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention the family activities on holidays as well. Recently I purchased an item, when I got home I realized the sale item accidentally rang up full price. No biggie. I went back a couple days later and Matt at customer service greeted me and not only was he friendly he also refunded the full price for my inconvenience. He didnt have to but it was kind and appreciated! Im sure Ill be spending that extra money back at Hafners! Thank you!
Loss prevention or if that is what you really wanna call it is a little overboard. Went shopping for plants with my wife and I was followed from start to finish all until I went to cash register. Honestly this is a form of discrimination that would make anyone uncomfortable to ever wanna go back in which I will not. The guy following me made it so obvious that I stopped shopping and cashed out before I was finished. I said some words to the guy in which he turned his back to me. This was a terrible experience. The sad part is judging by looks is discrimination and all these years I spoke highly of this company. I give you 5 stars for product quality but 1 star for the ignorant uncomfortable experience I had today. It may not mean anything to you but you lost hundreds of dollars today by me not finishing my shopping. I was gonna let this go but this was terrible and people need to know.
It states online they have willow trees and water garden plants. They do not. Some of the staff seemed bothered by my asking for help. They have a lot of the normal annual flowers, but nothing different-just larger quantities. Very disappointed (considering the size of this place) that they dont carry more of a variety of floral.
Went on a friday afternoon and there was a line of people formed out front, waiting to enter, as equal numbers exited the store. There were safety protocols in place, which I was relieved to see, and people were being reminded to observe them.As always, Haefners was well stocked with just about any plant or tree you could imagine...and all beautiful healthy specimens.I was there to choose a fig tree that was a gift. I was happily surprised to have had a choice of several, and left that day, extremely satisfied...mission accomplished!
No1 helped us outside @ all. There were some good deals & unique plants, but pricing for the most parts clearly far too high. Quite frankly, w/the overly inflated prices & an operation of this immense magnitude, their nursery selection (# of varieties) kinda stinks! I know of > 6 nurseries locally that have far more options to choose from & @ better prices.
This place is HUGE! They have anything you could want as it pertains to outdoor plants, gardening and outdoor home decor. Definitely an interesting place to shop at, with all sorts of cool stuff inside. My favourite stuff was the plants trimmes to look like animals, like something out of Edward Scissorhands movie. I also loves all of the realistic animal carvings to put in your yard or garden. Def recommend it!
This place looks like a gardeners dream. Many of the same plant in row after row, so the variety could be improved. Assistance was adequate, but the last staffer to assist me was beyond great, she advised when a plant I wanted may be in the store, she even gave me another common name of the plant.Update on 5-24-17. The assistance could be a lot better, they didnt want to help me at all today. I look for a ground cover, and only find invasive plants. I look in the seeds, and dont find any. I go to the service desk to ask. A woman shows up after me, and the ladies behind the desk decide to help her instead. Well, blank you Chucks!
Sometimes customer service isnt the best. They have a great variety of plants and a bit of everything else too but their prices on most things are outrageous. Just wish you could go there and buy your plants and not have to spend double that you would most other plant/ garden stores.
I love Chuck hafners they have an excellent selection of plans that nobody else has, the plans are always super healthy well cared for. I know some people say that they are overpriced but when you compare apples to apples theyre actually a better value than anything you would buy elsewhere. And their selection everything Garden related cannot be beat.
Hafners is a family tradition, we always get our Christmas trees there. Today I stopped at the garden supply to buy mulch, it was so simple, no lifting bags of mulch than hauling them to the van. They loaded the bags into the van and I was on my way. The employees are very helpful and patient.
Great variety of plants, but the customer service is horrible. I went one time when the store was pretty empty. I was completely clueless and was looking for some assistance. After literally 29 minutes of wandering aimlessly, I gave up and headed towards the exit. At the exit, there were literally 5 staff people standing around. One asked, Do you need anything?. I responded that on the way out the door isnt the time to ask a customer that question. Smh. I only go here if I cant find a plant anywhere else.
I have shopped here multiple times for various occasions and have bought a wide variety of plants and other gardening goods. Their potted plants have lasted and they have good Christmas trees as well when they are in season. They are relatively expensive but they have good quality items.
We went to buy some plants Mothers Day weekend. The store was packed and the only complaint was not enough staff to direct you to exactly what you wanted. Just trying to mosey around was a bit aggravating with everyone and their carts. Couldnt find flags until we asked at check out, it would just be great having staff available throughput the store/greenhouse
While I do like hafners I recently purchased a Christmas tree for what I thought at the time to be a little high priced and I figured I was supporting the local businesses as I could have gotten the same tree at Walmart or Lowes for 15 to $20 less I got the tree home and discovered that some of the pine needles were already turning light green they also did not trim the branches off enough as I could not fit it in the stand so I had to trim the tree again and within 3 days of putting the tree in the stand many needles have shedded and the tree is already discolored quite a bit and is dying. I like their selection but I feel a lot of their items are overly priced
Two weeks ago I purchased $140 worth of plants from Hafners. 3 of the plants I purchased dyed . I tried returning them today and was told they are not warrantied. I then tried talking to the customer service rep and she just walked away from me took care of someone else. I waited till she finished with that customer to try and get more info but she just ignored me. I have purchased approximately $200 a year in plants and supplies from them over the last 17 years., My business will go somewhere else as their customer service stinks. They are too busy to give any respect or service. This has happened once before to me. I should have learned my lesson then.
Hafners is just huge. The place is so big you could get lost without the map they can provide. Even just for a beautiful walk it would be fantastic. As far as selection and stock there were so many choices. I was surprised they didnt have as big a vegetable selection as Id thought they would have considering the size.
I ordered mulch at 8 am when they opened and it didnt show up until 5pm!!!! The lady over the phone even told me it was going to be fast since they didnt have any deliveries to do. On top of that the mulch smelt like manure worst quality mulch Ive seen. It wasnt even cheap mulch its what I normally pay for premium overall not happy, even got a comment from other people walking by saying it smelt.
I think Chuck hafners is the best... Not only do they sell flowers plants vegetables fruit they have a whole lot of home decor as well.... Not to mention they have place to eat on site... There are events that go on there throughout the year my kids and I love going during Halloween they have arts and crafts to do games and other fun activities for children... Definitely check them out support our local businesses and farmers!!!✌️

2022-06-14This place is amazing! I went for houseplants, of which they didnt have a ton, but the place was swollen with beautiful flowers and the largest garden style country store Ive ever seen. I walked around for an hour just soaking it in, then bought a begonia.

2022-01-25Huge nursery in N. Syracuse. Well stocked in season, plants and flowers are always beautiful. Nice fruit & veggie selection, seasonal. They seem to always have enough staff, but not all of them are knowledgeable. You also have to seek the staff out, they arent necessarily pro-active in customer service. During busy seasons lines can be long, but they do a good job at moving things along. Prices are high compared to other area nurseries, but quality has been consistent and excellent.

2022-06-26I was able to get assorted vegetable plants for my garden here. Quality plants at reasonable prices. I wish they had a larger selection, but it could have been just a supply chain issue, and not Hafners fault. Overall, very happy.

2022-05-17Nice selection of the very common plants of summer. Hard to find the less common plants. Not always easy to find help to locate the more hidden items. All employees are very kind and patient. Can be on the high side of cost. A place where you can also find a selection of unique gifts.

2022-05-04I love this place!! Its like Disney for gardeners. Very friendly and helpful staff, and an enormous variety of plants and supplies. I love shopping at local places like this. Their soil and compost are top notch and are designed for this region of the state. Prices are very very reasonable!!
