My first comment on entering the room was that it was the cleanest motel bathroom I had seen in a long time. Very friendly staff, quiet room despite being relatively close to the highway, a decent breakfast, and to top it off, I left behind my phone charging cable and they found it and mailed it to me in Canada! We will definitely return next time we are in the Buffalo area.
If I could give his hotel 0 stars I absolutely would. My family and I had the worst and most unprofessional experience at this location. When traveling home from a vacation we called this hotel to check their availability for the evening, we were quoted a price over the phone, were satisfied and arrived about 10 minutes later. Once we arrived we were asked to sign the paperwork for our nights stay, and noticed that the price on the paperwork was 2x what we were quoted over the phone. We spent the next 45 minutes trying to dispute and come to a resolution about the price discrepancy. Without ever stepping foot into one of the hotel rooms our credit card was charged $250 dollars, due to their cancellation policy- even though nothing was ever signed. We left the hotel and did not stay that night. For weeks after we tried to reach out to the general manager and she did not respond to ONE of our calls. We had the worst experience here and had to bring this up with our credit card company to dispute the charge. I would NOT recommend staying here. The management is unprofessional and dishonest.
Parking was sumple and easy and check in took about 10 minutes. The girls at the desk were informative and nice. We got to our room and later on realized that one of the key cards didnt work. We went back to the front desk, easy fix. Theyve got an inground pool and their complimentary breakfast was okay. My biggest concerns are that they clearly missed vacuuming, because there was cereal and a blueberry on the floor, and my other much larger concern is that the room doors dont stay closed. We walked in to set our bags down went back out and closed our door behind us. We came back with our suitcase and the door was sitting wide open. We brought our things inside, closed the door behind us again, and oticed the door creeping open on us. We thought this was a weird fluke and used the extra locks on the door when we were in for the night. The next morning we get our breakfast, and on our walk down the hall back to our room, we see other room doors just sitting open, with luggage sitting inside. Ive been in several different hotel chains a d doors have always been more eager to close on you than creep open like that and it doesnt make me feel very secure. One more thing to add is that condensation on the bathroom floor from showering stayed on the floor and kept the floor slick for about 12 hours. In closing, its a pretty average hotel. Not really extraordinary, but not too shabby if you need a place to stay. Just make sure you slam the door behind you and test the handle before you walk away from it.
Me and my family of 6 stayed for three nights traveling with sports for my daughter. Breakfast is mediocre and tends to have a crowdof people because the dining area is small. Beds were comfy! Hotel forgot to give us the right amount of pillows and accused us of stealing them when we checked out! Had to drive back to the hotel wait 30 mins for them to realize that is was from an error on her housekeepers part. Needless to say we won’t be back!
I put one star because you have to rate at least one star or you can’t post a review. But this service is terrible. The girl at the front desk acted as if it was an inconvenience to be doing her job. She could also not complete a simple task without getting frustrated. There were also dirty towels in front of the doorway to our room which created an unpleasant welcoming to our stay.
I stayed in July 7th until July 8th 2018 and the room was horrible there was blood on one bed, crumbs on another. The rug was not vacuumed. Shower curtain was yellow. Ketchup packet inside the covers. table was dirty and I went to the receptionist and told her how the room was she said she was sorry but theres nothing she could do but give me new sheets so I could put them on the bed so I took the sheets and the pillow cases, put them on the bed Myself. There was no customers (Nicole)the rereceptionist could of helped us and she decided not to I got done putting the sheets on the bed wanted to go out for dinner and ask her where was there a good place in town, she knew that we had children with us. She sent us to a bar with loud music and and people were drunk. Our room was $145 and lowered for $89. That hotel is only probably worth $50 a room no more than that the pool was small and is dirty you can even tell not worth a stay there at all.
We stayed in room 106 at first the jucuzzi didnt even work and the TV couldnt find signal so about an hour later they moved us to room 108 the TV in this room didnt have no signal so about 8 PM they figure out the TV the front desk guy offered us money off but we never got it since we paid cash. When we woke up There were ants everywhere on the chairs ground and also in our bed. I went to the front desk and they offer me 20 dollars off a room that came to 128 are you serious!!! The front desk girl was new and didnt even act like she cared and was rude I will never stay there again . We checked out around 730 because we couldnt enjoy our ant filled room plus I had my 18 month old child with me !!
It was a wonderful experience. Located close to the highway for easy access, within a mile of shops/restaurants and within a few minutes of Darien lake. The room was clean and spacious, the pool was also clean. Front desk and maid service were friendly and accomidating.
We had a minor problem with the room (booked a King but we were given two queens), that was fixed immediately by the staff. The room was clean and spacious. Decent free breakfast. Easy location to the wedding we were in town for.
Rooms are dirty and in need of serious repairs. First room was so smoky that we didnt even get the suitcases in the door before asking for another room. The second room wasnt much better as the kids slept in a rusty pullout sofa mattress and the shower curtain rod couldnt stay in the wall. Will not be staying here again. Would give this place zero stars if I could.
Employees were calm and courteous always willing to help. As our team Gfinders had a blast there and can’t wait for our return. Everything was clean to say the least. Checked out after about 4 hours....due to horrible smell and filthy whirlpool tub my 3 yr old had a dirty film after taking a bath... Front desk employees were fantastic though so I didnt complain but what a waste of money and what could have been a special NYE with my little boy. Would not go back

2018-09-19Nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean. Our room was quite large but showing some signs of aging with wallpaper beginning to peel, some marks on the floor, and dirt & scuffs on the lounge chair. Plus there were some cobwebs in the corner. Also, there is no elevator so if you cant schlep your luggage upstairs, you might want to contact the hotel directly in advance. It wasnt my favorite hotel that weve stayed in but Id stay there again.

2018-08-02Our stay here was comfortable. We had a slight problem when booking, but that was just a miscommunication, and was quickly fixed. Checking in was a breeze, and the room was nice. It definitely isnt an expensive hotel, but it didnt feel super cheap. The continental breakfast was pretty typical for a cheaper hotel. It is close to Darien Lake Theme Park, which was nice. My biggest complaint is that they dont have an elevator, but the stairs are easily accessible. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

2017-05-21This was not my first visit here. I find this hotel to be clean, comfortable, and the staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Our stay included breakfast and the choices were varied from choices of cereals, fruit, and yogurt to hot items and breads. It was well stocked and very enjoyable. The only issue I had was the beds in the room were doubles instead of queens. You dont see that often anymore and for the cost (which is never cheap) it could have been better. Overall though, our stay was very pleasant.

2018-09-04The staff was very friendly. The room was clean except for one thing, and that was a toenail on the carpet that didnt get sucked up in the vacuum cleaner they use. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were awesome.

2017-06-14Cheap, convenient and clean. The only downside is that it is super dated and the rooms smell heavily of smoke. In summary, it is exactly what you should expect from a hotel of this price. Perfect for a quick one-night stop as a through-traveller.

2018-10-30Clean rooms, decent outdoor pool, super helpful desk and breakfast staff! In fact, they were willing to work with me on no cow-milk in the eggs. And, they had a fun variety of waffle flavors.Not very walkable, but all hotels in this area are on the outskirts - being right near the thruway helps make up for it and the traffic is still quieter than many cities this size.

2018-10-13Stayed here after a wedding a few miles north on Rt. 98. Nice hotel with no elevator access. Good breakfast buffet with a waffle maker and other hot food selections. Some of their rooms have jacuzzis as well, we didnt stay in one though. Would stay again!

2017-10-20Rooms are neat and clean. Bed mattress, however, uncomfortable, which was disappointing as a good sleep is what one looks forward to after a journey. Sheer curtain in window shredded by sun... Breakfast was good, with plenty of variety and more than enough food. Service was satisfactory.

2018-07-02This Choice hotel is definitely better than the Quality Inn but still needs some work. The rooms are clean which is an improvement over that other one.The fitness facility needs work. The treadmill is broken and when I asked when it would be fixed the lady at the front desk said she had no idea that she just found out that it was broken. There is an unfinished floor in the room that is dirty. The air conditioner seems to be working but the cover is off.The breakfast food was good but the room and furniture was dirty. All of the chairs were stained and the floor was dirty. I put a post on Facebook with the pictures that I took of the breakfast room and fitness center.I am not sure what is going on in Batavia, NY that the hotels are run down and nasty but Choice Hotels Corporate members need to send someone up here to look at the conditions and fix these hotels.
