Not a member went here to exchange some items I had received Christmas. I didnt have a gift receipt. Manager was very friendly and took very good care of making sure I found all my items effortlessly. Very good customer service!

To order a sandwich platter you must go in person to fill out a form. Then return in person for pick up.
Need to have items with less quantities.Do not need a large items always and Costco needs a real deli department like Sams club.

Excellent variety of items!! Lines move fast even though it looks crowded. Gas lines are long....watch out for grumpy people on line with big mouths....they yell and scream at people. Ive seen it a few times...
Really good value overall and the Kirkland products are often made by name brands without the packaging. I just wish you didnt have to buy sooo much of everything.
Busy on the weekends. Best time to go is during the week after 3 pm when everyone is home with the kids from school and starting dinner.

Sometimes, I get the distinct feeling that an employee is looking for a reason not to help me, and they employ is a sneaky -- subtle -- way to let me know that theyre not going to give me the help or information I need. Such was the case at the Costco hearing aid counter at the Costco Holbrook location on Saturday, February 12 at 10:30 AM. It didnt take very long for me to realize that the woman behind the hearing aid counter was looking for ways to turn me away. She succeeded; I wont be returning to the Costco Holbrook in the future. Rather, Ill try to find another Costco location where the employees are trained to search for solutions to customers problems. Costco Holbrook failed in this instance.
Great prices, selection and knowledgeable, Friendly staff
Love this place. May loose a star soon if we have to keep driving 120 miles round trips. Delays in getting one built in Albany NY have gone on way to long.

Costco is overall a cost effective place to shop, especially for gas. Some items are only offered seasonally, and some things are here today, gone tomorrow so in general if you see an item you like, buy it. Thereve been plenty of times weve missed out on something bc weve waited! Also their return policy is the best. All the meats & foods are fresh. The only frozen food Ive bought there that wasnt tasty was the shepherds pie. Be prepared for lengthy lines most of the time, which is my only complaint. .
Best gas prices....saving some money with these high priced times
The crowds and long wait to check out make me hate this place. Many people have the same issue if you read through the reviews. The half price Raos tomato sauce and baby wipes keeps me comin back.
Of all the Costco branches I visited in Long Island, this is what I like the most. It doesn’t get as crowded like in Lake Grove and Riverhead and it also has gas (if you’re into that as we don’t have to utilize that anymore 😉). It also has a wine place like Riverhead and close to Savers if you want that king of thing.
Awsome place. They sell only the best stuff available in this world and maybe elsewhere.

Very accommodating in and out quickly
I havent been to that Costco in a few years.Prices are rising and doing sky high...the fank was the hot dog wasnt good either threw,half of it away.....they used to be great.
This location is crammed and chaotic. When when you are almost next in line to pay, after waiting on a line that runs the entire span of the warehouse because there are only 4 cashiers, a gentleman encourages you to the self checkout lane because its faster. What they dont tell you is that there is a separate line for self checkout. So after waiting near 20 minutes to checkout, I was sent on another line to wait another 15 minutes when I could have been out the door. Worst Costco location Ive ever been to, and Ive been to at least five.

Terrible experience today. Went to check out. I ran my bankcard twice, cashier said it didnt go through. Ran my Visa and it went through. Get to my car and saw in my banking app I was charged 3x total on my purchase. Went back into store and was treated rudely by a manager told me to contact my bank and smirks at me. I said theres something wrong with the machine maybe? Again, smirks and says yeah, well look into it. Dispute put in with bank but extremely unprofessional response. Never shopping there again. First time, last time.

This tire shop is extremely unprofessional. I came on time and had to wait 15 minutes for the employees to finish chatting before I had to go back and ask them myself to come to the front to help me and another customer out. Same employee said he will call me when ready in about 1 hour. 2.5 hours later he tells me they decided to give the 6:30pm guy his car first, and put my car behind his in line because employee thought I had no appointment, despite me clearly saying I was here for my 6pm. After speaking with the manager about my 2.5 hour wait time, the employee again said I didnt have an appointment and after explaining I did he quickly got quiet. Manager swore my car entered same time as the other guy who cam after, yet other guy was gone well before me.Would not recommend this shop, very unprofessional staff.
Food court is tasty and a good value
The only reason I give this place 5 stars is because of my experience with Beth at customer service. She was awesome and so kind, she explained Costco’s policies and promotions with a smile and was so friendly. I wish I could say the same about her co-workers who are just rude. Thank you Beth for your pleasant demeanor.
Great selection of new and unusual styles
Excellent place to spend all your money. I plan to buy only a couple of things and come out with a shopping cart full. Alas,I have food for the week. Friendly staff always helpful. Highly recommended.

Love this store. They always have everything I need and more! The employees are super friendly and helpful. One suggestion would have an employee direct the lines as Ive witnessed customers cut the line and be rude to one another.

A standard Costco. Everything you expect from the chain in a familiar layout. Only downside is getting to it from the highway service road can be a crazy experience. Much nicer to get there from the back road (off Nicolls Road).
Went in to pick up flowers for my wife. I find their roses last longer then if I have them delivered from other companies. You also cannot beat their prices. Take a look at the arrangement I made for her.

Amazing experience. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my 2 year old. Prefer them over BJs! Only recommendation is to have signs for each aisle so you know what’s down there.
Is it sad to say that I actually look forward to shopping here every weekend? You just cant get sick and tired of this place. There are always little new and exciting changes. Never met an unfriendly employee. Im like a kid in a candy shop here.

What can you say. Great quality products, amazingly helpful staff (Shockingly polite and nice) and extraordinary pricing. Whether sticking up in the basics or looking for well priced rack of ribs this is your place. They also have a number of other services from home improvement to garage doors. Such a gem and a great alternative to Kmart or Walmart

It was good experience, wasnt to crowded. BUT, a big but. I went to get my tires checked and then needed 2 of them replaced. Got there early, but had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours for them to complete the job. So if you go therefor your tires. Remember to make an appointment. So shopping good experience. Waiting for tire repair, without an appointment NOT.

It was terrible. We were there to sign my husband up for a new membership and for the longest time there was only one person helping. The one person being helped was taking forever so finally after way too long they got another person. The place was way too packed so no room for social distancing. I dont know what I was thinking. I should have left. I probably wont be going with my husband to use that membership. My bad

We were there yesterday. Apparently Daniel the night manager is an authority on HOW someone should wear a mask. After we did all of our shopping and we’re going to check out, we were confronted by Daniel. We were told that he would call the police and have my friend physically removed. Daniel also threatened that he would not be able to check out. So I checked out with my card. And with that, he sent a women over to copy my card number!! Meanwhile I did NOTHING wrong!! Daniel is very confrontational and doesn’t know how to deal with people. He should be stocking shelves on the overnight away from any customers.

I love Cosco Wholesale if you are not a member you dont know what youre missing. They also have a gas station at this site you cant find gas cheaper anywhere and their premium OMG! Did you know the gas is rated top tier? Cosco offers so much you have to get A-day pass and check it out.👌

The Holbrook location is always stocked up on tons of meats & seafood options. Its also kept quite clean which means management is running a tight ship. Smart move that they got a gas station added to this location years back.

Best pizza. $500 on 4 tires (no new rims) with appointment but no time given they said they would call when they wanted me to come between 9am to 5pm and then they called around 1pm and said they may not have time but to come at 3 to try and squeeze me in!Luckily they did it today, finished by 5:30 it was super busy so I felt bad. Great prices on lots of household staples. Some of the best quality meats Ive found in the area. Also love the addition of the Costco Gas, I always make sure to fill up the tank when leaving.

Great place to visit, its clean, organized and I found what I was looking for. Its very convenient that it has its own gas station. Thats a big plus. I wish that all Costco had a gas station.
Huge selection. Usually good deals. Parking can be frustrating when theres a lot of shoppers. Check out lines move fairly quick, even when busy. Food is good from the quick order at check out.
Always a good experience. They sanitize the carts. They guide you to the check outs in order to respect social distancing. It is clean, meat is starting to be fully stocked again.
The only Costco I will go to on the island. The others are no where near as nice as this one. Well maintained and staff is very nice. Food court is always clean and the food is fresh.
Great chain, great deals, but we always seem to come out with more than we expected to buy. :-) Parking is plentiful, however, most spots are on the east side of the building which is also the main inlet for traffic. My suggestion is to park to the south of the building and be very aware of distracted drivers.
This might be my new preferred costco... between the gas station and the speedy express check out I definitely prefer this one

Price is good on something average on others. Parking lot lacks enough handicap parking! Thursday day time and all the handicap parking was full. Store was clean, lots of free samples, friendly staff and register line got long but they moved fast!

The staff is very friendly. Returns are never a problem. Checkout is always busy but moved very fast. The bakery is always fresh with dates for freshness always posted. Parking is never an issue nor is getting in/out of the parking lot. And, items needed for school are better than anywhere else. Michael.....

Lines were crazy when I went. It does go fast but I had 2 items and people who were on the self check out had baskets full. I wish the self check out was for items with 15 or less.

I have been a member for many years. I typically shop at the least crowded times-weeknights and late in the evening. At peak hours they offer samples of food items. I typically buy their roast chicken which in my opinion is the best. I buy a lot of clothing and use their optical services. Their return policy is simple.
Always find what I need. Fast and SAFE shopping. I am very happy that they require masks and distance the check out.

Filled my cart. Forgot a item. Left my cart. When returned cart was missing. Found it a half hour later where I didnt leave it and was half empty. Not the first time this has happened. Walked out empty handed. Wasted half a day for nothing.

Helpful staff. Decent layout with plenty of room like most Costco warehouses. Lines can be long but they move fairly quick. There are plenty of space cadet members that are oblivious to their cart driving so I dont like to go there during peak shopping times.

This Costco is on Sunrise Highway and is the best managed store in our area. When you shop it is always busy but when you get to the checkout area many registers are always open and one person is on the register and another puts everything in your cart. You never wait more than a couple of minutes and the staff is very nice. I love this Costco.

Holbrook store is okay but the Commack store has much more friendlier staff

How can you not love Costco? Great selection in the bakery and meat case. The idea of offering samples of different products on the weekends is genius, considering you dont want to spend money on a bulk product if you have no idea if youre going to like it.

Thank God for Costco! Their brand of anything is always better. I buy three Kirkland solid white albacore fish and you cant beat the snack platters along with their pricing for last minute occasions.
We dont normally go on Sunday. Interesting. Reminded me of bringing a 100 yacht through a tight marina on a day when everyone was bringing their boats in and out. But since I thrived on that for many years Costco was OK.
Some of the employees working here need a lesson on how to be courteous to members. They seem to forget who is paying their salaries. Also the way they check your receipt when leaving is annoying too. They think customers are stealing from the place. What a joke.
Unfortunately I love Costco which means I spend a lot of money at Costco. The Holbrook location is excellent, never too crowded like other Costco’s and plenty of parking. They always have an abundance of what’s in the monthly circular and best of all never question returns which is why I purchase many big ticket items from them. The security to know that if I’m not entirely satisfied with my purchase I can return for a full refund is why I keepComing back.
Costco is as usual the go to for anything you need in bulk. The meat selection is second to none unless you go to the butcher. The samples got me with a new item. The ramen noodle box. Delicious. Also the fresh fruit and veggie selection is awesome. I make my weekly fruit run for my babies. Costco is awesome.

2022-06-22You can pretty much find anything you need and more. You will spend more than you need to. Even if you are just going to get mill.They trick you. This place is magical and will drain you. But you will end up here bi weekly. Just like your pay check.

2022-03-07Arriving into the parking lot today my husband noticed he forgot his wallet at home so I called the store and they said it was fine that he could get a temporary card for today’s store visit. Since this had never happened before we went to where merchandise was being returned and I asked the young girl where to go and she pointed “over there”. I looked and the amount of people on a Sunday that are there is crazy! I looked at her like she said two heads because I had no idea where to go. Then she said “stand on the line where all those people are” so my husband, my two year old, and myself (39 weeks pregnant) stood in line where everyone was getting their receipts checked because that’s where it looked like she was pointing to. As we approached the older women with black short hair (up to her neck) who was also wearing glasses and has bangs, who saw we were clearly next to go to her completely ignored us. I started to talk to her and she was still ignoring us until I started waving at her. I asked her if this is where we went to get a temporary Costco card. She said “no you have to go member services” and I told her the young lady told us to stand here I’m not sure where member services is.. she said “it’s right THERE. That’s the member services line. I’m not a line. Do I look like a line to you?” And she rolled her eyes at us. I was so shocked at how she spoke to us as if we were stupid. We LOVE Costco we have never had a bad experience with an employee there until today. I told her thank you and went to go stand at the correct line. As we were waiting on line, she was talking to the gentlemen next to her (also checking the receipts) about how she has to keep doing things that “are not her job” and complaining about working there. Being a customer you do not want to hear that and it’s something that should be kept private not for the whole world to hear about how much you hate your job. The Costco at this location is amazing but that one employee really put a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think somebody with that attitude who doesn’t want to help out a customer should be working there. When we left and had to have our receipt checked I tried so hard to avoid going to her but of course we got her. She didn’t even check our cart she just put a line on the receipt and let us leave. What if we had stolen something? Are these the type of people you want working for your company?

2022-06-14Bought a power washer and didnt realize the box was damaged as they stacked the boxes with the damaged side in . Realized when I went to load my car and came back 4 minutes later to ask for an exchange based upon the damaged vox as I was worried the Machi e may have issues. The front manager at the customer service counter with the beard was very rude and combative . After exchanging semantics with this unbearable man I finally lost my cool . I pay a membership fee for the right to spend my money here , wheres the customer service!? Why are broken boxes being put out on the floor !? After my interaction with this man I will not be renewing my membership. For what I pay for a membership respect and customer service should be included . This man should not be working where he interacts with customers he belongs in the wearhouse away from the public . Will be filing a complaint with corporate!

2021-07-12Grill the garlic chicken wings to WOW your guests at your BBQ.Or just put them in the oven.Located near the deli section, they are easy to find.No extra seasoning is required because they are perfectly flavored.They are everybody’s favorite party food!
