Flowers, plants, food, drinks, dogs, live music, casual, colorful, mud, green, outdoors, character, farm, fun. Oh and did I mention allll the flowers and plants? So gorgeous. Could have spent hours in the greenhouses looking at everything. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
Such a gem! The drinks and cheese boards are amazing. Great locally sourced food, and amazing folks; family owned and operated. I love sitting on the big porch and listening to the live music they have on the weekends. Recommend the mimosa flights. Also booked a greenhouse with friends where we learned to make planters and had a blast.
Great place in the middle of the country to stop for coffee or food. The staff is nice and the porch huge. If you want to enjoy a spot off the beaten path this is the place for you. Its not too far from Syracuse, Camillus, or Marcellus. They also have a flower nursery on the premises if you want to buy flowers on the way out.
My wife and I just got back from a wonderful night at Crazy Daisies!! Their staff is very friendly and helpful and the food and drink there is fantastic!! Tonight, while we ate, we enjoyed live music under a large, beautifully lit greenhouse, tastefully decorated with area rugs, plants and tables with comfy chairs. It is amazing how much their business has grown over the past couple of years!! If you are a couple or family looking for a great place to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon or evening, look no further than Crazy Daisies!! Youll be glad you did!!
Absolutely love the ambience and delicious food. My Purple Magic(?) ale was the perfect compliment to a wholesome brunch and the greenhouses and gardens are beautiful with a view for miles. Thank you for a great day! We will definitely be returning for more fun and harvest goodness.
I was really looking forward to having brunch with friends and family at Crazy Daisies. Unfortunately, the customer service was completely unacceptable, and I will never be dining there again. The staff was aggressively rude; I was so upset that I left in tears, over something that should have been a nonissue. I will never recommend this place to anyone, considering they ruined my entire morning with unprofessional language and poor communication. The employees made the entire group feel disrespected, and there were better ways to approach the situation. They’re also very pushy about tips. Additionally, I overheard them complaining loudly about my table in a very public area, which is really not a good look. If you want to be unbearably uncomfortable and treated poorly while eating subpar, overpriced food then this is the perfect place for you!
Went on a Sunday with a group of friends. Got the scrambler, which was excellent. Got a piece of mousse/pie thing which was also great, and we shared a cinnamon bun. It was very busy at the time we went, so be aware of that. But the people working there try their best to keep things moving and are very pleasant. There are also senior pups wandering around and theyre adorable. The owner even bused our table! Didnt get one, but they have mimosa flights. I wont get into the plants, which of course I imagine would be the main attraction. This review would be about 10 pages long. The drive up from downtown was also beautiful.
If I could give this place a negative 5 star review I would. The food is completely overpriced for the quality. I ordered the quiche and it was severed completely cold. My boyfriend took a bite and found a plastic shard that was baked into the quiche. When we told them about it nicely they were rude and sarcastic and asked if we wanted our money back and just threw cash at us instead of apologizing. The plastic was sharp and could have easily cut his mouth. Absolutely ridiculous. The chips with the chips and salsa also tasted like dirt. The lemonade tasted stale and smelt like vinegar. I will never recommend this place or eat here again. Save your money and go somewhere else. Still can’t believe how disgusting and unsanitary they must be to allow plastic shards to be baked into a quiche. The mimosa flight also tasted disgusting and tasted like sweetened vinegar. Save your time and go to rise n shine.
Drink are ok/good, the atmosphere is good with the band playing but he have waited about a hour for a single pizza. Additionally the girl seemed aggressive by asking for a 20 or 25% tip when we havent even gotten anything yet. I get you need to make money but when thier is little or no customer service you shouldnt ask for such a large tip at all. It is also expensive here but that alright for the view and music.
Great concept and cool place. Did not appreciate being given the only option to tip 18, 20 or 24% while paying at the register with a card before getting the food. Thought about the tip as I had to get up from the table several times to get napkins, salt and more water. If you going to be aggressive enough to ask for such a tip when it’s not full service please at least pretend to be attentive. Did I mention the order was messed up and one of our party didn’t get there food until 20 minutes later. Too bad because my daughter was so excited to bring us there and it was her food that didn’t come. I think a new restaurant manager would do wonders for this place. Sadly because of the tip/service, ok but overpriced food and a generally unkept restaurant we won’t be returning.
So, my first experience was a 5 star, my 2nd experience was a 1 star.I love the mimosa flights and I enjoyed the pizza and the garden. What I didn’t enjoy the 2nd time was soggy nacho chips and the rude wait staff. So we ordered, they told us it was about a 45 min wait for our order, so we asked if it was fine if we headed to the greenhouse and they said yes. So that is what we did for 30 mins. My friend went in to use the restroom and they were complaining about order number 25 so loudly. My friend said, hey if you are going to complain about customers you should do it out of earshot of customers, since I’m order 25. We shared with you that we were going to be in the greenhouse as you said it was 45 min wait. They didn’t respond but just stared at us. No one apologized. Listen, we get it as we work food service industry as well, but you can’t treat customers like that
Stood in line for nothing. Out of most of the menu by noon, which is fine, I guess we will have to get up earlier. What dropped it to one star was the cashier - ordered once, out of biscuits; ordered again, out of breakfast pizza; ordered a third time, out of bacon. Would have been better served had there been a running list of what was available. Feel bad for the people behind us because all the chatter was about the items they ran out of. Unsure whether Ill make the drive from Eastwood again.
The best casual, partial service restaurant in the area. The garden cafe offers local food and drink in a unique environment. The staff is always friendly and hard working. The family that owns and operates this local gem truly epitomizes the American dream and for that reason alone deserves your visit. Have been dozens of times and have never been let down.
This place is spectacular! All of their food and drink items are locally sourced and are delicious. The flower farm is so pretty and inviting. Went on a Saturday evening and they had live music which was great. Great place to be outside, social distance and support local. 10/10 will go back!
One of our favorite spots in Syracuse! The porch is full of flowers and amazing for drinks and eating while taking in the view. Love their pizzas, cheese boards and mimosa flights!, Relaxed homey, yet fresh and festive vibe. The staffa is mostly family, and you can tell- they take their time with you and always treat their customers like good friends.
They have a interesting selection of beverages. They seem to have a decent selection of food as well. While we were here we had a few wine slushies, we will definitely have to go back and explore their menu further. The seating is a little bit limited so be prepared to wait for a bit.
They have a great selection of all flowers, from house to outdoor hanging baskets. However, be cautious of the dog, as my boyfriend and I were walking to the checkout he bit my boyfriend in back of his the lower thigh. They claimed it as him “being friendly.” This behavior should not be tolerated and he should not be out and about casually biting people. Unacceptable. If it wasn’t for that, my rating would be much higher.
I loved this place! Have heard lots about it. Quaint and relaxing. Must say tho I was taken back a bit by the unfriendliness of the girl who took our order. I didnt expect to be treated like that. Not a deal breaker, would return, but wish we were greeted with a little more friendliness! Definitely detracted from the experience.
Overpriced and average-tasting food- this place charges sky-high prices for their food and also does not post the prices on their menus. Very shady practice. I went with a friend and between the two of us, for breakfast pizza and garden scramble, an iced tea, and a coffee, we spent about $45. Absolutely ridiculous.
I have been coming to Crazy Daisies for many years. There is no place like it in CNY. Lots of annuals, perennials, succulents fun creative containers and classes. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Jennifer, the owner has recently opened a cafe featuring local fresh produce and meats. Baked goods made on premises. Always worth a visit 10 minutes outside of Syracuse.
I have never been to this nursery, but the last 2 years they have gone above and beyond to help me send hanging baskets of flowers to my mother in law. They baskets were full and gorgeous and unbelievably reasonable in price. No other nursery in the Syracuse area had hanging baskets of flowers and Crazy Daisies also delivered them for me!! I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and hanging baskets last all summer where bouquets only last 2 weeks. Thank you so much Crazy Daisies !
In a search on the Proven Winners website, this greenhouse came up as a retailer for this brand of plant and flower. While other greenhouses also carry this brand, Crazy Daisies has the MOST variety of Proven Winners including my favorite Supertunia. And finally.....in all my searches for Dragon Wing Begonias, I finally found them here! Their prices are very reasonable as well. Im so pleased with this greenhouse and will be coming back for years to come. THANK YOU!!!
Last year pot party 10 girls not gardeners all came together to make a container planter. We had a great time and each planter was a work of art also continued to thrive throughout the summer and into the fallWe are looking for a date to return and make another beautiful creation.

2022-06-08This place is amazing! I went to the greenhouse on Saturday to get breakfast and buy a new houseplant. I asked about their pet friendly plants as I have a cat who is prone to chewing the leaves. They did not have a section of pet friendlies at the time but the staff were helpful in finding me a few options. I went back the next day after I had done my research on some pet friendly options and was thrilled and surprised to find that they had created a shelf with pet friendly plants!!! It was wonderful to see that they cared and did this so quickly! My pets and I are very appreciative!!Beyond that the breakfast and coffee was delicious and their plants are beautiful!!Great people, great food, great plants! Will definitely be returning and recommending.

2021-10-15THE getaway spot !!I love this spot for a creative, quirky and refreshing escape. This is a great location with super fresh and unique recipes - truly an experience! We got the Mimosa Flight 1 - summer edition - it was around $20 which was well worth it for the taste, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail. Fresh flowers, herbs, and juices (plus all local ingredients, including the liquor), really made this flight stand out. We got something called a honey dipped pig (or something like that ) pizza, and WOW again. It was a combination I have never tried- and I am sure I can never even recreate. The environment really tops of this place. The staff is super friendly, and you can tell the staff puts a lot of thought into every detail. The greenhouse is gorgeous and the cafe itself is also super cute. We went for dinner and there was a ton of people, but there was plenty places to sit outside. The prices are on the higher end, however the quality more than makes up for it.If you are looking for a relaxing, unique escape, and you have a taste for farm fresh goodness- this is the place for you!

2021-10-27Such a cute place with an awesome drink menu! Its pretty extensive! I ended up with Flight 1 for Mimosas. Im pretty sure it changes seasonally, but I was not disappointed in the options, nor the taste . We also ordered the charcuterie board and baked apple and brie board. Very good, and not skimpy. I will definitely be back if only to drink my way thru the drink options, and the grilled cheese sounds pretty tempting as well!

2022-01-30From a creative menu, to welcoming staff, to a cozy atmosphere, to a range of plants to choose from... we love it all! Crazy Daisies is one of a kind. While shopping for a gift, for instance, you can enjoy live entertainment or sip on some tea during brunch. Weve done both, plus attended a private event onsite, which was beyond amazing. We consider this place our own secret garden! I highly recommend visiting Crazy Daisies and getting to know the truly kind-hearted people that run it🥰💐✨

2022-05-09This business has a very relaxed and calm atmosphere. I had the opportunity to meet most of the greenhouse staff and they were extremely kind and welcoming. They have a massive selection of plants and the staff are super knowledgeable about what can work best for your requirements. Definitely would recommend stopping by the cafe after a long morning of plant shopping!

2021-10-07I really enjoy going to Crazy Daisies during the week. Whenever I go it hasnt been too busy and its been a relaxing venue. Being mostly gluten-free, dairy free, and pescatarian, Ive only really been able to try their flights and hummus platter with gluten-free crackers. One time I wanted more of a charcuterie board and they added fruits and more veg to the hummus platter for me. Both times I went, there were no gluten -free baked goods. I hear their pizzas are tasty; I wish they made like a gluten-free red pizza.

2022-04-12Crazy Daisies was one of the most cozy and unique dining experiences! The chance to eat in a heated greenhouse surrounded by beautiful flowers, lush plants, with live music!? Sign me up! We went for breakfast and ordered the breakfast pizza, brioche French toast, and mimosa flights and loved everything. Order at the main cafe building then find some seating in the greenhouse and enjoy! Great spot for brunch with friends or a fun, unique place to take family visiting from out of town. We will be back!
