Enjoyed this historic bed and breakfast as a nice getaway from the City. We stayed in the original 1764 building and it was charming, with a bathtub with feet and a fireplace. While the ceiling is a bit lower than present day standards, the room was spacious. The hosts were really friendly and gave a lot of good tips for the area. Interestingly, the current owner worked housekeeping there as a teenager and really knows the area. The breakfast was pleasant - indoors only due to some regulations. Beautiful location.

We visited Spring 2021 and stayed two nights in the Cromwell Suite - absolutely perfect! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was a delight, the sunset was stunning, and when our wine key broke it was no big deal because there were plenty to borrow. Jones Farm next door was wonderful for breakfast (the Inn wasn’t serving breakfast because of COVID - though they did have delicious chocolate marshmallow brownies, coffee, and fresh fruit out). They even provided a log for the fireplace, which we never got around to enjoying, but such a thoughtful touch. Staff was wonderful also, highly recommend booking now!

The Cromwell Manor is a truly special place to escape for a long weekend! The homes are absolutely gorgeous and all the little touches really made the weekend incredible. We went on a 4 day get-away just a bit after the fall foliage time. The fireplace made for the coziest way to spend a quiet day. There happened to be a blue moon during our stay and they put on a viewing party for us all to enjoy from the huge front porch. And if you’re a fan of delicious breakfast, look no further! Each of our days started with an absolutely delightful two course meal, fresh coffee and a view of the gorgeous property! Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Cromwell Manor Inn. Cody, the chef and host, was friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts he prepared were *incredible*. Poached pears, fresh fruit salads, bananas foster French toast... so, so good. The property is beautiful and Ethel the goat was a fun discovery. Excellent location for exploring the area, very convenient to West Point. The house has the little quirks you expect from a historic building, but the room and bed were clean and comfortable and the WiFi was good. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Stayed in the Wellington room and it was really fantastic. Becautiful room with a working fireplace. Grounds were very nice as well. Breakfast is only at 9am so there is no flexibility with that and it was ok as breakfasts go but not the best. Overall I would recommend. Very close to storm king art park.

Such an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfasts are very tasty, especially the fruit-based special treat that is served just before breakfast. I would definitely go back again! It is in a great location to go to many places. A favorite restaurant in town was Pepettini’s. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful food, reasonably priced.

Beautiful federal period historic inn on a gorgeous peice of property on Angola Road in historic and upscale Cornwall, NY. Right near Jones Farms and a short drive to town. Facilities inside and out for small gatherings, weddings and other events besides being a lovely bed and breakfast. They do not have their own food catering, but it is a gorgeous spot to stay or hold a small to medium sized event.

Without warning power was out for hours - on star-filled night. At nearly $300 a night with taxes and fees - but, no generator? Lovely staff. But, not enough.

Simple and quiet bed and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Worth the price, I plan to stay here again when visiting the area.
