The new dog park is awesome. Its big for lots of dogs to run around. Fresh waterto give your dog a drink.
Took advantage of the beautiful weather and played some pickle ball on the tennis courts. Park is well kept. Bathrooms were locked which was kind of a bummer but it is out of season. Used to play softball here on a local team and fields were always clean and taken care of as well.
I haven’t been here in years, so today I decided to go with my 12 year old daughter. It’s a nice walk, but it’s very creepy. We saw about six to seven vehicles, each having one man driving, no one else in the vehicle, driving up and down the road. They would drive, park the car, get in the car, drive a little more, park again. It was the weirdest thing ever. There was literally just older men there, driving up and down. It didn’t feel very safe, and I don’t recommend going alone.
Loved the hiking trail. Park was full of birthday parties when we went so we didnt get to use the playground.
Great walk but people definitely leave garbage...
Super easy hike with a lot of trails that shoot off in all different directions. Beautiful view and great for people with disabilities and dogs/kids. Theres a playground, a pavilion, bathrooms, picnic tables, garbage cans and the trail up to the tower is paved so you can drive up there if you dont feel like walking. Great place to have a picnic!
Went up the hill through the gated entrance on Rte. 32 and pulled into the playground. There were two men standing around, one smoking a cigarette and one shirtless. Find another spot please?
Nice park. It has multiple sections for lack of a better term. There is a playground, baseball fields, open grass areas and soccer fields. You could pack a bag and have a picnic of you desired. They also have events during the summer here.
Excellent view! Worth the drive. Unfortunately there are no hiking trails that we could find, even though theres plenty of room for several. There may be some, but we could not find and theres no map available. Note: to get to the road to the summit, enter on the northeast side of the park.
Its a great park, theres a location for people to have gatherings or even parties outdoors. Also theres trails to hike, and a fire tower thats at the end of the road up where you can walk up and see a beautiful view of both sides of the hudson river.
Beautiful park. Great place to play tennis on a nice day. Just wish the parents would keep the kids with their bikes off of the courts. There is a sign saying this is not allowed.
This is a review for the dog park. Its clean, a lot of room and has a section for large and small dogs.

Great passive park to relax in or meet friends for good times. Not heavily used durin the day. I enjoy going there to read and relax
Well maintained local park. Offers walking trails, soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, a stream to cool off in on hot summer days. Hosts fireworks and other civic events.
Walked up the fire tower n it was truly gorgeous looking over everything and seeing the Newburgh/ beacon bridge with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. it was absolutely breathtaking. Very cool to check out n lots of hiking trails.
Nice park for the family or friends. Plenty of room for playing any sport and a playground for the kids and a tennis court. It also has a softball field and plenty of parking. There are bathrooms, open during certain seasons.
I have hiked a good portion of this park. I personally have not run into any miscreants, but Ive heard stories from other locals. I did run into a local walking two HUGE German shepherds without a leash. I was nearly attacked. Also, look out for the speeding motocross bikers. They race through there from time to time. You can drive to the peak to enjoy the view. The Hudson does look pretty amazing from this location.
Pretty park for a summer picnic. Out of the way place that seemed uncrowded on our visit. We had a picnic here on our way to the Stewart Airport air show.
Played softball there my whole life..... Great park with tennis courts and softball fields....and a play ground.....nice!
Bathrooms where cleaned. Park is very well maintained. Very nice.
Field is a bit rough, but otherwise nice, large complex. Indoor bathrooms, tennis courts, playground, and bridge connecting the two sides. Parking is a bit tight.
Tower was closed during visit.
Interesting park, would have liked to stopped but when I parked, I was swarmed by insects. Perhaps another day.

Children can swing and play on the slides. There’s a few tables where people can sit and eat. There’s also a public restroom.
We take our dog to the dog park there..everyone is very respectful and the place is clean.

Just anivrclose place to take a walk or drive to the tower lookpver a part of the Newburgh great in the fall for vitamin D and the colors that make living worth it in the Northeast..

2022-07-02Very nice park which offers a variety of activities to visitors. There are courts for tennis, basketball, and fields for soccer, softball and baseball. A narrow footbridge spans a crystalline brook. There are stationary bathrooms, if open, and plenty of open field for flying kites and such. Two parking lots. In July 2022, the Orange County Libertarian Party appeared at this location for Newburgh Community Day.

2022-01-25Ive hiked here all 4 seasons. Park at the bottom and you can follow the path pavement or take a trail on the left. Ive had picnics here, there are stone ruins if you can find them. Ive also gotten lost here lol so if you have an app that marks your trail or for where you parked your car use it. Bunch of different spots you can hike up to but it does lead to the fire tower. Nice view. Can be a peaceful spot but also gets busy in the summer. Good spot to eat sandwiches, no matter which path you end up on.Tiny road! So watch out for cars coming the other way and people/dogs if youre driving up

2020-10-22Nice park with softball and soccer fields, tennis courts, and a playground. Everything is well maintained and in good condition. Bathrooms onsite. Plenty of parking. It’s a pretty safe park.

2021-09-11We always go to this park. I see a tree fell, probably due to Hurricane Ida, but the park is usually tidy. My dogs love the kiddie pool!
