Very clean and organized store. The staff is super friendly. Omar runs the beer section and is the nicest guy ever! Best market on City Island!

Relatively clean and organized, this location has switched hands several times over the years. Store layout is always the same, with easy navigation. Selection is as expected with occasional sales. Prices are generally higher here than elsewhere. Staff is usually friendly. Reason for 3 stars is mainly high prices and the failure to strictly impose mask mandates when they were REQUIRED- often times store was/is filled with maskless customers AND employees. Not very sanitary when the employees are handling fresh vegetables with no gloves or masks during a pandemic.

Small supermarket, yet they have options that even my big location doesnt have. Even after requesting. Employees & Shoppers know each other as if its an episode of Cheers. Every few minutes I would hear Hi so & so! Hows your family? Is Mom ok? Ive never seen such coziness in a store before. The only downside I would say is that the aisles are narrow.

Its without a doubt too expensive to be a C-Town but its also cleaner than any C-Town ive ever been to, good selection of ale, wish they had Brooklyn Stout. Staff not unfriendly but appear to not understand social etiquette, still another Bronx neighbourhood, get yours and c u later

I went in to buy a plant that was suffering and found another one that they were neglecting. They did not even give a discount it was the only plant in the ruit srction. I rescued it. The service was OK. They are not helpful. But it was a nice clean store.

Service was terrible. Have to bag your own groceries, especially if you have a lot. The cashier told me that she was not allowed to help me bag my groceries, and she rang up the next 4 customers while I was fumbling with my stuff. She was actually instructed NOT to help. Shopping Carts are outside, in poor condition, and not easily accessible. Produce does not seem to move. I bought items that were almost rotten. Peaches and plums had to be eaten the same day. I also bought chicken legs that went green the very next day in my fridge and stunk up the entire house. Wouldn’t trust anything from this supermarket that wasn’t sealed upon arrival.

Its very convenient if youre on the island. Has a lot of variety for its size. HOWEVER, double check the expiration date before you buy anything. Too many things on their shelves are expired. I bought this cheese on May 7th and you can see the best by date is April 26th

Change the name to Dominicks online because when you go to look it up it says C-town on the web. It makes it hard to find, but its the only large market we have so I hope they do well.

I love this supermarket I visit on a daily basis everyone is so nice and they have good home cooked meals and a big selection of beer

The only full service grocery here on City Island. Great prices and bargains we havent had before with IGA. Great customer service and very personable...like a friend!
