The staff are respectful and welcoming, as well as genuinely helpful with making sure things get handled to suit your needs. I worked with a gentleman named Christian, who helped make the process of dealing with flood damage, very easy to handle.
A few days prior to my move in date. The store manger, Destiny Barnett reached out to me to go over the application. She answered all my questions and concerns I had including the insurance policy, the storage sizes and reassured me of the safety and security. When we arrived (April 9th) the staff were extremely friendly. We were greeted at the door with a smile and a welcomed hello. We met with Ms. Barnett she, walked us to the storage unit, and ensured the whole process was smooth and comfortable. One of the best experiences i had ever had. Very friendly. The facility was spotless, they have taken all the Covid-19 precautions. I am so impressed. I know i will be a long time client here! Again, Destiny Barnett was a pleasure to work with... if you are looking for a clean, safe and friendly place reach out to Destiny Barnett! She is awesome and made me feel like home!

The General Manager at this establishment is very unprofessionalI called this morning to make my monthly payment and the general manager told me I had an outstanding late fee and I asked her to explain this fee to me.As a customer I wanted to be fully aware of the responsibilities that comes with the unit because her employees did not go into detail regarding the unit when purchasedI asked her to explain once more the payments and late payments just so it would not happen again and her remark was simply pay it or dontThe employees are very ignorant and need to be given proper customer service mannersEspecially the General Manager !She made this experince truly unpleasantAnd I will be moving out of my unit shortly
I like this storage facility. Its clean and peaceful. Its ina good area and there is a few restaurants around the corner.Its well managed and easy to navigate. Plus the customer service is great.. Christian explained everything very well and let me tour the facility before I signed up. Sosi set up my account quickly and easily.She is very kind and helpful. Everything went smoothly and effortlessly.No problems here just good service.

I came in as a walk in looking for assistance with a unit. I needed help choosing a size that worked with all of my stuff. I was helped by Destiny who walked me through 3 different units and talked me through pricing. She was amazing and showed great patience. My experience couldn’t have been better. I did not have a good experience. Some front desk staff was nice as well as the other workers However during a pandemic, late fees should not have been aggressively pursued with annoying phone calls. There was no understanding by the management or policy makers of what clients were going through. I paid my bill every month. BUT dont try to take advantage during a national emergency by charging additional fees. Especially when state and local governments were putting guide lines on rent.
My wife and I rent a 7.5X10 foot storage space at this Cube Smart. All areas, including bathrooms, are always very clean. The staff is highly competent, well trained, always friendly, and always helpful. There are plenty of parking spaces. When necessary you can back your vehicle up to a wide door that opens to a broad elevator vestibule. We moved to this Cube Smart from a famous local brand storage company, and have zero regrets. The price is in line with a top-class facility, and there are annual rent increases. But you DO get what you pay for. An operation of this quality is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Most highly recommended.
I originally tried to make arrangements for a storage unit via telephone, but there was an issue with my contract and the unit had to be downsized because what I wanted was not available. Thank goodness for the contract issue. Nelida called me to explain that I should come in and view the unit before signing the contract because it was an odd shape. I made the trip there to view the unit and sure enough odd-shape was an understatement. The unit would not fit my needs. I thanked her for her honesty and not trying to make a quick sale. She didnt want me to leave empty handed so she searched for cancelled units and found me the size I was originally looking for and honored the terms of the original contract. After my contract was signed, I was escorted by a maintenance man to my unit to install my lock. He graciously swept and mopped the floor of my unit which was immaculate I must say and even wiped down the door and installed the lock for me. My experience was great unlike the CubeSmart at another location a few years ago. I highly recommend this place. The staff is awesome and the place is clean.

Very highly recommend! Was looking for a cheap storage place to house some items for a small amount of time, but didn’t want to go through the hassle of paying too much money. Looked up closest storages to me on goggle an found the CubeSmart on Broadway. Best decision!! They had a sweet promotional deal that allowed me to occupy some space under a month for free! If after the month we still needed the space, then that’s when a charge would be made to my account. Tour of the facility was beautiful. It was Clean, and there was an efficient process . Christian the young man and representative who I spoke to first about coming in to sign documents an look at the space was super professional an very sweet. Can’t go wrong with this location of cube Smart!
Ive been renting a locker at Store 6607 for about a year. Everyone is always friendly and the place is always spotless. The only problem was that I had a top locker, which I hated. I expressed this to 2 employees, Christian and Jeselyn and they were extremely helpful. They helped me reserve and the following day, transfer to a bottom locker. They were both helpful, knowledgeable, polite and very friendly. I really appreciate them for all of their help!

A year agoBrand new facility, clean with plenty of parking, good service. Many of the other lockers are further down from the elevator. The floors are carpet which is nice, hopefully they can keep up with the maintenance for the next 10 years. Overall best intro experience with typical and easy access.2-7-2020Update after terminating my contract with this facility because I have no need for the storage.The transition was simple and the staff was respectful during the exiting transition.Enmanuel and his staff has made this a painless experience during the move out. I highly recommend and grateful for having a storage facility with a professional staff at home.

I appreciated the tour of the spaces available and how clean everything is. Lisa assisted me and was knowledgeable, professional and outgoing. My rationale for the four stars is that the passcode system has been down. I have had to receive a temporary code each time I have gone in and each time there has been an issue. The office staff at this location have no control over this issue, they have all been very helpful.
It is hard to receive good customer service in NYC, but it is not the case here. At this CubeSmart the customer service is outstanding. Lisa felt me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She took the time to listen to my needs, and found the best option to meet them. I am very satisfied with the superb service provided by Lissa and Rossy.
I happened into the store by chance while out on other errands, and found their prices on moving boxes to be the best Ive seen in all my research. I purchased 3 wardrobe boxes and 2 extra large boxes...then came getting them into my car. When I realized my car was too filled with junk for all the boxes to fit easily and that a recent neck/back injury prevented me from the necessary maneuvering to get them in...the store employee, Jessalyn came to my rescue. Thanks so much, Jess for all your help! From locating the products I needed to your polite and informative responses to my barrage of questions to helping me get everything in the car, you were awesome! Thanks again!
Great storage unit, employees are friendly and very helpful. Main reason I cant give 5 stars is because the ceiling is hella gross even though this place was built like 4 years ago. If you store clothes, make sure everything is wrapped in plastic so you wont get mold or mildew or whatever that is on the ceiling into your stuff.Also got to keep in mind that the rates can and will go up every 6 months or for a new calendar year so keep an eye on the emails they send you because they will notify you about rate changes so you wont be surprised by billing time.
This was a user friendly/customer friendly experience from the start. I reserved online and selected the date in which I would pay and start. I chose to drive to the facility - 5740 Broadway, Bronx NY. I was greeted by Nelida who pleasantly took me through the process in about 5 - 10 minutes. During my induction another attentive customer service woman, Lisa, also helped and I was set up to do my self storage needs including locks and pads in about 15-20 minutes with a trip to my new 10x10 storage locker!Very good experience and the pricing is competitive.
I have only ever had the most wonderful customer service experiences when dealing with everyone at Cube Smart on Broadway. Lisa Rosario who manages this establishment is one of the most helpful and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Lisa goes above and beyond your expectations and her kind and caring demeanour are truly commendable. Lisa provides excellent customer service, her knowledge and passion plus her smile can lighten up even the most challenging day of moving.
When I arrived the staff were totally unprofessional. I heard nothing but complaints from them about the customers.Regardless of this I reserved a unit for a Sunday. Business hours were suppose to be 9:00-7:00pm for the office and the loading gate. However, when I arrived with the movers, the gate was down for both the office and the loading gate. I was left stranded in the cold with ALL my belongings in the truck. I had to call customer service so they could contact the manager but he/she wouldn’t answer. Luckily they were able to find another location that was open for business. Horrible experience.
Jessilyn and Manny were amazing! They provided answers to all of our questions, outstanding customer service, excellent patience, and great understanding. My mom and I were in a rush to move my things in (moving out from college is very tedious and stressful) and into my locker. They even offered to stay a little after closing to make sure we were okay. As we told them on our way out, we couldn’t thank them enough! If you’re looking for a great storage unit, this cubesmart is the best way to go!

The ladies at this location were great! Abenji showed me a few lockers and I chose the one that best suited my needs. While getting the computer stuff and paper work ready she and her coworker jokes around and we had great conversation. Over all great place, service was on point.
This was the most easiest and simple thing I had to do with my Mum’s move.Christian Jones very helpful and patient. He showed us all the u it’s he had available that would fit my Mum’s belonging and took his time to answer all of her and my questions.We definitely recommend going here.

Reserved the cube on web, visited this location and was greeted by Jeselyn C. And her coworker. She was very descriptive about the contract and explaining terms and had let me pick my own location for the same size. Would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for not just the storage, but also great customer service.
Its true the Customer Service is phenomenal! Ive been here on two occasions and its one of the main reasons that if I have storage needs, it has always been CubeSmart (Riverdale)-due to their staff. The manager Nelida and her team are phenomenal Christian, Yeselyn, and Manny are an incredibly-amazing customer service team who always go above the standard(s) in order to support the needs of customers. Nelson, the maintenance person of building and grounds keeps that place and the grounds 100% clean. Yeah, I know Im raving about a storage facility but life was stressful for me during this time time and the staff at least made my day easier by their welcoming hellos and just assisting when needed. It took me three visits to actually decide that paying for storage was the way I wanted to proceed. On all three of these visits, I was treated with utmost patience and respect...and on the day I visited with the intent of renting, I was offered a discount that I wasnt even aware existed.As for the facilities, they are clean, dry and easy to access. So...while I do not necessarily feel that storage is a long-term option for me personally, there are times when it is necessary and I have no reason to feel thst this isnt an ideal place to use to its advantage.
Great friendly staff, personable yet professional. Exceptional customer service. Facilities are outstandingly clean. (Recommendations as part of the rules of moving in they should mandate, people with mattresses to have mattress-covers on. This is for the well being of all).
I had better service when I rented at Uhaul. The staff here don’t open on time, gave me improper instructions on accessing my unit and the rates are high, especially during a pandemic. No thanks.
Pros.Employees were great. They even offered bottled water. Very nice +++.Climate control is great.Very clean.Cons.Loading dock entrance is narrow.Availability is difficult as the other floors arent open yet.Van wasnt available. You need to reserve Van 48 hours before even though I reserved the space 3 weeks prior.Still better than my previous storage co.
The person who helped me, Rossy Fernandez, was exceptional! She was very clear and helpful in every way. After ascertaining what my needs were, she found just the right storage space for my needs, and then guided me through every step and option with a warm professionalism. Highly recommend both CubeSmart and Rossy.

There was a flood in my unit floor they were so helpful and got me a new unit. The manager was so on point was going all out . The staff as well.
Lisa was great!! I had trouble deciding on a space size.... she patiently showed me spaces, gave me time to make up my mind, and was very friendly!! She even hugged me when I told her I had recently lost my dad and had to use the storage unit to store items from his apartment! The place is also sparkling clean, brand new!! I highly recommend it!!

I recently signed up for storage at Cube Smarts 5740 Broadway location. I can honestly say hands down that the staff there are extremely friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about pricing and sizes of storage. Prices are a bit high like any storage facility, but the perk is that you get 25 percent off when you first sign up so that alleviates the monthly cost. The facility itself is well kept, very clean and is climate controlled. The entire staff from Emmanuel to Jay to Nelida the site manager are super helpful! I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing storage.

The facility appears to be clean. The workers are kind and helpful although they could use a little more help. The front desk is often abandoned and people are confused about who theyre supposed to deal with. Parking is not a problem. Its a newer building so the wear and tear is minimal to non existent at this point, which is good.
Lisa and Hi Rosie who first gave me the tour to storage unit and parlor these team workers are awesome! they are nearby texting and updating feedbacks ,the free truck for two hrs was a great help. They and makes me feel at home they explain and suits your space needs focusing the moment you enter clean and tidy friendly atmosphere I will highly recommend cubesmart to my friends . Staff was very helpful and friendly. I worked with Mr. Rodriguez (I forgot his name given that I was extremly overwhelmed personally with my moving). He was extremly resourceful. Guided me step by step with the process. He showed me the unit and was very detailed with the cost and terms. The place is very neat and clean as well. I would definetly recommend this place.

Chris and Lisa are the best customer service representatives at CubeSmart. They are professional, polite and excellent employees. They’re what makes dealing with this company a pleasant experience.
The staff is nice and really helpful. It is a shame that they close so early (645 pm) making it difficult to make it there during the week. Its also inconvenient that we have to go make payments in person in order to avoid fees over the phone or online. For the convenience and extras if I ever need a storage unit again, I will use Manhattan Mini Storage again.

If I could give them. Zero star rating I would. I moved my clothing and household items from UHaul to CubeSmat at the end of December. I thought that this was a better facility. However, my daughter was moving her dorm stuff in on May 16 and noticed a bunch of moths. The more she moved things around, the more moths flew and crawled around our unit and in all our boxes. We walked around the 4th floor and there were dead moths all over the carpet everywhere. They have a major infestation! And, the manager acts like it isn’t a big deal. My daughter and I spent 6 hours cleaning out our unit and moving all our stuff to another floor...to a less desirable unit no less for the same price! I had to throw out several coats and household items and can honestly say it was one of the worst days of my life. Spending several hours killing moths off your clothing and household items is not fun! After 13 loads of laundry I still have at least 10 more and all my expensive coats have to be dry cleaned. Who is paying for all this?? Cubesmart offered no help!!!! We had to move by ourselves! I have been significantly financially impacted and want Cubesmart to do the right thing and also fumigate the 4th flour. Who is going to reimburse me for all the expenses associated with the moth infestation? The time I had to take off of work? All the stuff I had to throw out and will have to rebuy! Wake up!! You have a serious problem! Lisa Rosario was the only person who was sympathetic!! She was professional and helpful. The other so called manager was horrible to me and my daughter! She may have been a robot because she acted like this was not a big deal!! Several thousand dollars of losses and all the time and money to correct THEIR infestation is significant!!Take ownership for your flaws! Your facility is not safe!! I want a resolution and want them to alert customers on the 4th floor that there is a serious problem

After a hectic week the only thing that was right was the staff at my cubesmart storage. Nelida the general manager there helped me get into my cube not once but three times. The staff here is professional and courteous. I was allowed to use the other restroom since the mens room had been busy fir a while. The restrooms are kept clean.

This facility is convenient and clean. The loading docks are right near the elevators. Check in was easy. Lisa helped me and she was awesome.

The staff member who assisted me in the rental of my unit was Lisa, who was professional, courteous, friendly and super helpful in guiding me to the right size space for my needs. I will definitely recommend CubeSmart Self Storage to my friends.
My initial experience with CubeSmart was good at first. Was met by Lisa who gave me a tour of the facility, pricing, hours of operation etc. I reserved my storage on 7/24 thought I was good to go. Came back 8/1 with my lock and fees but learned that my reserved storage was given to someone else. Note: It was not verbally told that their is a 10-15 day reservation period frommove in date. However in their defense I did have 2 missed calls/ one vml from them but nothing indicating that they were going to give my reserved unit to someone else. They were also given an alt# to call if I wasnt reached that they did not use. When I returned a few days later on 8/1(prior to 10-15) my unit was rented out. I was a little disappointed about that and the fact that the storage does not stay open later then 6:45 PM.

CubeSmart at 5740 Broadway is self storage made friendly, clean, and convenient. Moving into our 3rd floor unit was quick and seamless. There were multiple carts/trolleys for us to use. This location is brand new, we were the first to move in.

They were very accurate in predicting the storage capacity we needed.

I went to a New Cube Smart on 237 and Broadway. A young lady name ROSY was at the front when I arrived, This young lady was extremely helpful, very professional answered all my questions and concern.

This place calls for eminent domain. In an area replete with inferior shopping choices, a few spaces appeared a few years ago. This one, by the liquidation of Loehmans. And what arrives to hog up the available space, removing it form being available for something useful like a good supermarket, something this whole region lacks,, a self storage building. A self storage location doesnt have to be situated right on Broadway in a retail area, it can be located more off center, in a off the main road location. Oh yeah, they included retail options attached to their space hog building, a row of small stores that are still unrented after a couple of years, except for a small FedEx store, Im assuming, because of the small size of the available stores they built. Hopefully CubeSmart will one day go into bankruptcy, like Loehmans did, and again free the space they prevented from becoming something this area can use. Until then, this is a case where eminent domain would be in the public interest.
CubeSmart Riverdale: If youre raising the monthly rent at least extend the hours for working folks that cant make it to storage by 6:45pm. Also, can you install a dumpster so we can dispose of our boxes?

2022-05-28Good and bad: the facilities are clean and very well kept the staff in both facilities are very professional, good people; however, the rooms are not true size, a 5x10 is really 46x 910 a 7.5x 10 is really is really 7x 98 and so on. Also there is no consideration when you move within the facilities. I moved from one CubeSmart to another CubeSmart and I was treaded badly for doing that. and I moved on the same date that I was due in my first unit into my next unit. I really dont understand this.Thank you.

2022-02-07Your manager, Destiny Barnett, was a lifesaver when we were moving into our apartment and your storage facility. Knowing we only had minutes to load the elevators before we would be locked out, she grabbed us 2 elevators and hustled my movers inside, averting catastrophe (seriously, we couldn’t bring the boxes back to our apartment and the moving company had no storage of its own for the weekend). On a later visit, she helped us dispose of a cart of boxes, so we wouldn’t have to bring them home. You are lucky to have such a smart, hard-working manager.

2022-03-06I rent with Cubesmart for 3 years at the Broadway location in Bronx, NY. My experience was delightful. I really appreciated the courtesy call I received every month for payment. The customer service was also excellent. Lastly, the cleanliness through out the store and around the storage space was amazing. If it wasnt for the rent increase; I would have stayed. I had lost my job (due to Covid) and I couldnt afford the rent.

2021-09-07The very professional, very amiable staff at the 5740 Broadway location are your very best ambassadors: Destiny, Norman, Chiva (spelling??), Jessica, and Ashley - each and all were extraordinary, providing on-demand assistance always with a smile and a ready answer. Further, the lobby of the facility was always spotless (including the womens restroom), comfortable and welcoming. The cellar where I rented unfortunately partially fell victim to the ravages of Hurricane Ida, but prior to the storm, it too was spotless - zero evidence of pests anywhere (thank goodness!), and swept/vacuumed clean. Ive never felt more at ease and comfortable as when I was assisted by your unbelievable team of Jessica and Destiny. Knowledgeable, courteous and above all professional, they made choosing CubeSmart the only choice. Whatever they are being paid, I think it should be doubled. Frankly I dont know how CubeSmart found such talent.
