I cant tell you how much I love you I mean this store. If youre down in the dumps or feeling sad this is the place to go, youll find something to get you happy, or at least thats my case.I wish they had one in Puerto Rico (ho) so I can enjoy this place with my parents.I love you Dollar Tree. What happened to the shopping carts? There was literally one two in whole store. One customer had one and the other an employee was using it. Why have they removed the carts? And why they still have boxes in the way?-2yr old review-Long lines with only either two or three cashiers open. Lot of boxes took most of the space. They do have nice finds but store needs to remove the boxes, lots of reviews mention the boxes being in the way.
Some unstocked shelves and only 1 cashier.
A great selection of items but minus stars for not having more than 2 cashiers ringing and having long lines that took more than 30 mins to stand in.

The Dollar Tree in the Bartow Mall is excellent. Store is clean, staff is friendly and the aisles are clearly marked. You cant go wrong on price and there is a treasure of items there. Only flaw is not enough cashiers.

This store is a gem in the Bronx for people with limited funds. It has a variety of things to choose from. If you don’t have plans for the day, you can easily get lost in the store, finding items you love and leaving with a cart full of things.
I love this Dollar Tree. Its a dollar store where everything is $1. Every item No more than $1. Some times a little less. Some items are $0.79 or $0.89. Mostly the candies at the check out area. But where else can you find Hersheys chocolate bars or MARS candies like M&Ms and Kit Kats for that price. I stock up by the handful when I run in. Not to mention the selection is beyond decent. They have many things from greeting cards to socks and even pantry items. Which, surprise surprise, are NOT expired. Thats right! Not expired. Most of the hood 99 cent stores are not as brightly lit or clean and definitely do not always have unexpired goods, nor are the priced at .99 or less. Granted there are times it may get a lite hectic in there and the isles may not always be in tip top order. But compared to other stores theyre doing a great job. My favorite Dollar Tree.
The re-design is nice, however the upkeep does not compliment the makeover. The store is unkept, products are still in boxes and the isles are blocked because of the boxes. The floors are dirty, looks as if it has not been mopped in months, also, there remains a leaking hole in the ceiling, when is this going to be fixed!
Left 1 star only because I absolutely love Dollar Tree. However, this one in particular has traumatized me forever. It all happened as I waited in the line and the person in front of me claimed to have given the cashier girl more than what she received in returned. Then when it was my turn, I stated that I didnt want two items and I held them in my hands all while she ignored me and proceeded to scan my items. After half of the items were scanned she snatched them away from me and started sucking her teeth and nodding her head. I apologized and asked if there was a problem. She then stated that I was shoving the items while she was scanning and very rudely said its like you expect me to stop scanning so that I can take them from your hand . I was so embarrassed because since it was a cart of 70 items, there remained another five minutes of waiting patiently while everyone waited behind me starring and awaiting a response from me. Shamika is the worse person to have working in retail. I was so disgusted by her behavior. My two little girls almost cried in the car because they said they felt embarrassed by the way we were treated.
Decent store. Plenty of items and easily accessible since its in the Bartow Mall. However, the cashier lines can be long. But thats among Dollar Tree stores.
Typical dollar tree. Store is neat compared to others but employees are kinda rude. More than once there were 6 employees by the registers but only 2 were working while the others were talking ot whatever. Which means the lines are always super long.
I love Dollar Tree but I dont like the people that work in Dollar Tree so Im giving in cereal
1st and only dollar tree thats stocked and clean. No boxes in the way everything on its shelf
This place is pretty small with low quality stuff for $1 (but you get what you pay for). If you go to this one, youll find it as a very hostile place. If youre going after-school, youll notice that they make you take off your bag at the entrance and they make you put it in a shopping cart or on the floor. Nobody watches the bags half the time and a students bag was even stolen 2 weeks ago.
The selection is constantly changing every week and the prices are unbeatable a $1 each. I typically find myself making Dollar Tree my go-to spot for items before searching elsewhere.
Everyone is rude and inconsiderate which is unfortunate because this store used be really clean and the customer service was on point when Vincent Nicholas was the manager .

I love shopping here. The only problem I ever have is when the High school students come after school and throw crap. I actually got hit in the chest with an item. But other than that, shopping here is always great!
Worst customer service ever! One girl whos name I forgot but she has a curly hair wig on is so rude I felt like slapping her twice for having an attitude w me. However I didnt feel like going to jail so I let it go.
Variety of things , especially for the cheap prices. Lines can be long but the employees make sure to keep it moving.
This place is trash and so are the ppl. Super bad attitudes and a minimum of 40 ppl with a long line outside and 10 ppl just about in there. Huuuuhhhhh???!
Place seemed unkempt when I walked in. Difficult to find certain things, since I dont remember seeing aisle descriptions. Come here for the price. Dont come here if looking for large selection or high quality.

I love dollar tree stores but the pictures on here are hilarious to me since the truth is most shoppers are straight up pigs and trash the store while shopping justifying the insignificance of everything costing a dollar, this wholesome image is far from reality.
This is a good branch of DT. They carry a line of spices here that I like so I make it a point to come here for that about twice a year. Clean store.

Place is clean, spacious, and nice staff. Could need a few more cashiers and they need to stock up on more whole wheat bread😊😊.

To busy here no room to parked the cars. It a pain in the butt. My ex-partner (best friend ) have his apartment near by Co-Op City. I just parked near the huge apartment building. I think he go the penthouse.
This is not your typical dollar tree store. this one is definitely bigger than most dollar tree that I have visited in the bronx. and has more variation of item haa well
They got some good workers in there for the xmas season. Normally when I go to dollar tree I always have a problem or get bad customer service.

2022-05-27****Closes at 9pm now****Almost all of these high positive reviews are fake.Messy and not very well stocked. Aisles blocked by thousands of unopened boxes. Lacks a lot of items available even in other dollar tree stores. Theres one on Gun Hill nearby with far more items. The longest wait times Ive ever had in a store. Im not exaggerating when I say that I waited in a line exactly 57 minutes that stretched to the BACK of the store AND DOWN ANOTHER AISLE just to check out 2 items. I only go here if absolutely necessary. I dont blame the cashiers. The cashiers try to go as fast as possible but they arent hiring enough and theyre swamped.

2022-03-15I love that they have the automatic opening doors. It’s very convenient for those of us who have strollers , walkers, wheelchairs and etc. The store is usually stocked. I always find what I need. So no real complaints.

2022-06-11We have two Dollar Trees in my area and I shop at either depending on what else I am doing.The stores have a variety of items ranging from food to crafts, cards, medical basics, kitchen ware, storage items, school supplies, books, party, cleaning supplies etc.The key to successful shopping is to remember you are shipping for an item at $1.25: quantity and quality are limited. A bottlee of spice or plastic container are fine but you wont find a screwdriver with a lifetime warranty!The second key is to rember staffing is limited so lines can be long and stock can be in the aisles awaiting shelving.Bottom line is that with patience and a discerning eye useful bargains can be found.

2021-06-16Convenient location in Bartow Mall Co-OP City Bronx NY. The ailes are a little tight, and gets tough when stacks of unopposed product boxes are also taking up the limited space.Other than that, we do like shopping for all the $1.00 products available.
