When installing a new roof above my bathroom, they were supposed to close up a fan. Then put a new roof over. Instead they put a piece of cardboard in the hole instead of wood and silicone it closed. The rain came flooding into my bathroom through the opening.It was covered with paper so we wouldnt see it.

Very satisfied with the end results. Staff is very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and concerns, even pointed out a few things. They removed 2 layers of roofing and replaced all the plywood with new, two fireplaces (flashing looks great), all in under 8 hours with no mess. They even suggested what colors works well with my house. Perfect.. Thanks guys. Would recommend. My husband and I had our roof work done by Done Right last week, and we are so happy we went with this company. They were very professional, and the job was done in 2 days. They did everything that was promised, and our home looks terrific. We needed all of the plywood on our roof replaced, along with 6 skylights, and all new gutters. There was a huge mess from all the debris, and when they were finished the clean up was terrific! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their roof replaced.
I would like to show my appreciation to the great work Done Right did for our home by writing my review and experience. Our roof was leaking in the past but didnt think much of it until we noticed mold in our roof. I called up Done Right and they scheduled me in the following day for a Free Estimate. They found the leak and showed me exactly where the leak was. They repaired our roof the same day. They matched our roof shingles and replaced the rotten wood. Kismet and his crew just replaced our roof, our shed and fixed our chimney. The turn around from the initial estimate to the actual work was super quick. All this work was done in a day. Beautiful roof on house and shed and chimney for the winter. I had a roof done in queens a few years go and comparing the pricing the prices for the Hampton Bays was very reasonable. Done Right Roofing recently installed a new roof on my home. I am so pleased with the professionalism and quality of work that they performed, that I am compelled to write this review. Kismet and his crew were clean, prompt, courteous, and quick. My roof was completed in one day (full rip and install), and it really was Done Right ! I say this because they repaired structural issues as well as installed new plywood, flashing, weather seal (better than standard tar paper) and beautiful shingles of the color of my choosing, and kept it all within my budget. The communication and attention to detail was exactly what I had hoped for and the roof looks great. Thank you to all at Done Right for an excellent job!
I recently had a roofing and gutter job done at my home by Done Right. I have used other companies in the past but after my experience with this company I will never use anyone else!! It started with the first friendly call I made to the office to schedule the appointment. I needed the work done right away and they sent me a technician over the same day. He represented the company well and was very knowledgeable in the roofing industry. I felt so comfortable with him that I had decided to go ahead with the work right then and there. They worked efficiently and in a professional manner. Once they were finished with the job they cleaned up the work area and left it as it was when they started. I would recommend Done Right to anyone who needs good quality work done to their home. Let me start off and say thank you for the roof repair you did for our home. We had a roof leak problem for a couple of weeks and made some calls to get a quote on the repairs. We choose Done Right because of their reputation and I am glad I did. Thank you for fixing my leaky roof and for providing such great customer service.
Done Wrong!!! Charged me almost $4000 for a $1,000 roof/chimney leak. Used cheap materials (about $200 worth) didnt install it correctly or use enough material. I ended up having to spend another $1,000 to have their work corrected and the repair actually made. They had the nerve to try to upsell me even while the roof was still leaking!! DONT USE!!!! PS the workmen did NOT wear masks.
I just had a new roof installed by Done Right. I have to say their name fits them well. My experience was amazing just saying. It started with the excellent customer service provided by the office to make the appointment. Great company! Would use them again! They had my roof done in no time! Amazing customer service. Done Right worked on my chimney. They used quality material and the work done by Charlie and Dimitri to install a new cover and renew the pipes was very good craftsmanship and also looks great. Clean and good job all the way!
I recently needed some immediate roofing service due to a storm we just had. In a panic I contacted Done Right for a free estimate. When I spoke to the office they sent someone over the SAME DAY. It was a pleasure speaking with the office staff. When they arrived the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. We had our roof, fascia capping, and gutters/downspouts replaced. Done Right provided great customer service from beginning to end. During the estimate, they educated us not only on our options, but what to pay attention to when gathering estimates (including what things go unsaid by salesmen). They gave us a great price. The workmen were very considerate and fulfilled requests we made onsite. They moved our patio furniture out of harms way. They did extra things like caulking a sky lite we did not know could use it. The work looks great, like a face lift for our house. The owner even came by before the job was completed to check in on things. They did a decent job of clean-up, too. We would reach out to them again and recommend them to anyone, including friends and family.
I recently had a new roof and a new gutter system installed by Done Right. I have to say their name suits them well. My experience was amazing to say the least. It started with the excellent customer service provided by the office to make the appointment. When it came time for my scheduled appointment the office confirmed the time window in which they would be arriving, they showed up within the allotted time frame and sent a technician who was very proficient and knowledgeable in the roofing industry. He was able to provide me with detailed answers to all my questions. He really made me feel confident that Done Right was more then capable to do this job. After meeting with the technician I could not imagine using any other company but Done Right. When it came time to install my new roof they showed up bright and early in the morning and worked right through the day until the roof was completed. They made sure to clean up after the job was complete leaving the house just as it was when they arrived. Once the job was completed the owner of the company came to inspect the job and make sure that I was completly satisfied with the work. It was a pleasure working with Done right and if I was able to upload pictures of the beautiful work they did I would but unfortunatly all I can do is praise them. Update - on Saturday, 8/29 at about 10AM, there was a knock on my door. I thought it was an unsolicited individual trying to sell me something. I open the door and it’s Mani, I said what are you doing here, you show up at my house without calling me first. He started speaking in an aggressive agitated tone. At that point I said get off my property, I’m calling the police.The police showed up and told him that I have every right to write a bad review if I don’t like the estimate. Police told him he needs to move on at which time he drove off in his Done Right company truck.You can judge for yourself if you want to do business with this unprofessional company that comes to your house with intimidation tactics.I received a estimate from Mani recently which he stated was a zero percentFinance. To be sure I asked him twice. Initially he said he wouldnt be able to give me the quote until the following morning. Several minutes later he knocked on my door again and said he would be able to give me the quote in a few minutes. When he gave me the quote it was more than $3000 above two other very reputable contractors who also quoted me 60 month financing. I encourage the owners to contact me as this individual is a loose canon who will destroy the 5 star reputation of Done Right.

I recently needed a chimney repair estimate. I already had received one and decided I wanted a second opinion. I called Done Right and they were able to come the next day. The office was very friendly and they came right on time. The technician gave me a great estimate and I just needed a cleaning and chimney flashing. Thanks Done Right, for saving me time and money.
Had my roof done a month ago and they did an excellent job. Kismet was very professional. He didnt try to upsell me and he was honest. The workers showed up when they said they would, got the job done, and cleaned up well. THE PRICE??? I was happy with the price that I given. It was reasonable and probably as low as you can get without using a company that isnt insured and all that jazz.
With winter approaching, its time to make sure my chimney is working properly. I reached out to Done Right to set up for them to inspect its condition. My appointment was 11-2. They called me to confirm and showed up within the time frame. The technician was very educated and efficient. He did a thorough inspection, and also cleaned my chimney. He didnt leave behind a mess like the last company did. I would recommend anyone that needs a professional and honest estimate to call Done Right. I am beyond satisfied and will never need to look for another chimney company!!!!!!
The Done Right team really went above and beyond for me when i hired them to remove and replace my roof. They were able to give me an estimate that was much more reasonable than the three others i obtained over the past few weeks. The office staff kept in touch with me throughout the process and the crew that actually worked on my home were not only just skilled craftsmen but also conducted themselves as complete gentlemen.
Overpriced, they don’t keep appointment time and don’t return calls. Don’t waste your time calling them.You should think on how to improve your business (office personnel in particular) instead of accusing people of fake reviews. My review is 100% NOT fake and threatening to fine or put me in jail does not change my opinion. I got another company to fix my roof twice cheaper than your estimate. They returned calls and came on time as promised. Have a nice day too.
Im a Property Manager and my partner and I have been in the Home Improvement business for over 30 years. I hired Done Right to rip and re-roof my customers old barn (about 100 yrs old) and supervised the work. The crew of Done Right went above and beyond by replacing lathing missing due to rot. They did a clean job of the rip, the roofing is perfectly level (no dips) and a GREAT cleanup! I highly recommend Done Right for your roofing work!Eric S.

They did it fast and they used high quality materials and they gave me a great price.Now my house looks brand new even though it has 14 years since it has been built.
I had my roof done by done right, they had to rip the old roof off and install an entire roof, they had the old roof ripped in about an hour and had the complete job done by 3:30pm in the same day. they left no mess and i have had no issues with the roof at all. pricing was competitive and they did a great job!thanks!
I know nothing about roofing but these guys were great, they explained my options to me and spent a lot of time going over the job. They did not rush me to make a decision, I priced it out with other contractors and they were very fair.They cleaned up great. Would recommend them to anybody .

More stars would be appropriate for this company. I had a new roof, windows and siding done and my garage roof was literally falling down, so they did structural work on that as well. From start to finish, these guys were real pros and took pride in their work. The people in the office are organized and knowledgeable and helpful. The owner gave me a timeline and delivered on it. The day after the job was done, I realized two things that were forgotten (after I looked it over and confirmed everything was done) and he sent two guys in the pouring rain that same day to finish them up. Even my grouchy neighbor told me how professional and neat they were. That may have been the first nice thing I ever heard him say in eight years of living here. And one more thing that was really remarkable and I also didnt know this at first - I had asked the guys if they could look at my 80 year old neighbors upstairs window before they left for the day to tell her if she needed a new window. They did indeed go over (it was raining that day too) and ended up bringing a ladder to fix whatever she needed on the outside and wouldnt take her money. Yet another neighbor heard the guys decline her offer to pay. It may have only taken a few minutes, but they really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Done Right without hesitation.

I normally do not write reviews but Done Right saved my day. My chimney has been producing black smoke lately. I received a few estimates from other companies. One company wanted $1900 saying my liner was bad and another company did not even call me back with the pricing. Done Right came and looked at my chimney. They said all I needed was a good cleaning. So for less than $100 they spent a good 45 minutes cleaning my chimney and the problem is solved. I would def recommend them to everyone I know.
Cleanest roofing company ever, gutters were looking better than ever. My chimey was redone and it looks phenomenal! I had a few leaks on my cieling and my roof was destroyed but they gave my house a whole new look that i love with amazing price and supreme customer service

Avoid Done Right Roofing ........Over priced, did very sloppy work which still didnt fix the problem. Upon calling them back to fix the job that they originally did they wanted to charge me $8,000 to redo the roof and how he described what they would do it seemed like he didnt really know what he was doing...... It seemed as if all they do is try to con the customer price gouge and then just cover up and problems giving the illusion that it is fixed without fixing the root of the problem

Very happy with all they do...I have called them twice last two years. One time for roof service and the other time for chimney service.Both times very satisfied with their service. Great company, willing to help and charge very low prices.
The actual work they did was good but they left metal shards, metal clippings, and tons of nails laying all over my backyard. Thats a problem, I have little kids and two dogs! Then they took all of the stuff they replaced and just threw it in a box on the side of my house instead of trashing. it themselves. Do the whole job! For reference, this job was completed in November of 2015.
Rip-off they told me i needed to completely change my sky light and flashing and that it would be a big job. $2900 then which i declined then price dropped to $2500 then $2200 all the way to $1800.I went to a different company $600 all i need was a double pained glass it was condensation from the heat
BE AWARE OF THIS GUY! I have asked them to call me regarding finishing the roof they started for us before the storm about 5 times now!!!! The secretaries tell me hes busy on other calls and he will get back to me by the end of the day. My ceiling leaked terribly around my chimney and I really need someone to respond. I have left emails and phone calls to and no response from the guy who is supposed to come back. They were eager to come estimate and start the job, take my money, and now this headache? I am tired of my continued patience and hope to hear from someone soon. Spare yourself. If the owner gets this, CALL ME BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, I will have it fixed by someone else and you can pay for it.
Asked for an estimate, they offered to make apt Friday they can send a rep. Between 2-5 ok I agreed. Received confirmation call this morning, they will call 30 min before arriving, now it 4:45, I callRep asid oh yeah, your next, he must still be making repairs?Running late.Its not ok, I wating all afternoonIm moving on!??No ok

Needed a full new roof. Got three quotes. The technician was the only one who willingly went up on the roof and gave me great advice on selecting a new roof. Price was not the lowest but competitive. The crew who did the work were respectful, fast and cleaned up well.Would recommend them to anyone.

This is the second roof job has done for me. My husband, who is quite knowledgeable in home repairs/renovations, was VERY IMPRESSED with the work that was done. In addition, the clean-up was so well done - there was no trace of debris from the old roof. It was as if theyd never been there.
It was great to see four guys come and complete the roofing job in one afternoon within a week of the initial assessment. They left our yard clean. Having had many contractor experiences, this was definitely a success. The crew was very professional and courteous.

The technician came out and checked our roof and gave a reasonable quote. The crew worked efficiently and expeditiously and did a careful cleanup afterwards. 2022-05-05We had a minor leaking issue with the roof and Ideal agreed to fix it, but after his visit and the roof inspection we decided to have the whole roof replaced even though he didnt push for this. I wanted roof to be done ASAP. The waiting time was only one week and the job was done in one day. They are professional, well organized, pay attention to client needs and details. Ideal gave some helpful suggestions including shingles colour. Best price among three companies. Well done!

They completed independent jobs on our home, inclusive of a flat roof, shingle siding and soffits and fascia.....our home is now pretty much maintenance free! They did an awesome job...…..would definitely recommend them. We had one small quality issue and they immediately jumped all over it, no questions asked.

2022-05-21Done Right replaced crumbled masonry and a cracked chimney cap. Ideal was great to deal with. He responded quickly to the request and scheduled the work soon after the assessment. Unfortunately, we ran into several days of bad weather but he kept me up-to-date on when it would be safe to do the work and the crew arrived on the first dry day. I would definitely consider calling this company again, if needed.

2022-05-21Ideal takes an enormous amount of pride in his work. His team was fast, diligent and cleaned up brilliantly. We had several quotes, chose Done Right Roofing but then were unable to complete the work right away. Ideal worked with our schedule and accomodated us as soon as we were ready. Were completely satisfied with our new roof.

2022-06-10They came and re-shingled the roof and flat roof over 2 days and were very tidy upon completion and they fixed my soffit when putting in the new eaves, which look great!
