Rooms are newly renovated, so everything felt new and clean, even if not super high quality. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable enough. Outside the building wasnt in the best repair, but they just redid the pavement and I imagine are working on further improvements. Overall, for the great price I would definitely stay again!
I recently returned to Albany for work after Covid and began looking for an apartment... again. I returned to the Econolodge because I lived here for a month 6 years ago while apartment searching when I first moved down. The new owners are wonderful, the rooms are clean and service is friendly, helpful and prompt. The prices are the best in the area and it is close to many amenities. Highly recommended if you need a budget room with honest, friendly hoteliers.
Safety was a problem. There were people loitering around in the hallways selling drugs.Checked out within 30 minutes of arriving. Did not get a refund.Customer service is poor. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the booking agent (priceline) and contacted the hotel, the hotel falsely declined all complaints.Definitely stay away. Days inn or Quality Inn down the road is a lot better.
Rooms were dirty. We got two, so it wasn’t just ours. Floors hadn’t been vacuumed, headboards were gross. Bathroom wasn’t clean (looked like they had wiped down the toilet but the shower wasn’t clean. Broken caulk & walls were not clean or fixed. Blankets had burn holes & tears in them. Garbage outside the rooms just piled up. Disgusting. Would not stay here again. The building is old which is fine but it can be fixed & cleaned they just haven’t put effort into it.
Positive: Well, it wasnt because it was cheap..$--- for 6 days. It shouldnt matter cleaniness as a human but to take your dortiness further to a place of because where people stay and sleep.I requested everyday to move..mold everywhere.I had to stay in that moldy Negative: Mold a lot of it all around shower in bathroom on the walls. Why would they not see that cleaning..dirty unsafe. Staff did nothing. They didnt change my room or take care of it.
Positive: They let me have my dog in the room for only $10 a night, while other hotels around cost $20 or more a night. The staff was friendly. The staff was willing to change my room do to the heater not working right. Negative: The heater not working right, and the door trame didnt look like it was secured right.
At 2am I tried to use the microwave in my room it did not work I contacted the front desk letting him know asking to switch with the microwave next door because it was empty. I was declined my request but the manager made me go to the lobby to use the microwave there. I did and when doin so I asked if I could get a working microwave seeing as Ive been here for seven days pay on time with no issues. The manager stated how do I know you did not break it? I replied I had to sign documents stating for any damages done to the hotel room id be charged so I requested documentation that everything in the room was in working order before my booking. I was denied again sayin they have nothing like this here. Now I am banned from this hotel unable to rent for nothing.
I wasnt too happy here. We first asked for a room in the back away from the traffic and with a microwave. The room they gave us was in the front and no microwave. We ended up moving to another room that was better.I didnt feel safe entering the building since there are no hand rails on the stairs. You really have to watch your step. There is free breakfast but it didnt look too appetizing. The room was small. The place was clean and is good for a cheap stay.
DO NOT STAY HERE! My friends and I booked a room here, it looked so nice in the pictures online but when we got there it felt like a hotel out of a horror movie. The place was so dirty! It smelled like cigarettes everywhere you went. Our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait and then they just gave us a room across the hall that was ready. There was stains on the wall, the headboards had hand prints on them like they’ve NEVER been clean, stains on the floor and stains on the sheets, one of the beds even had cigarette burns. The energy of the entire place was off and it was so dark and creepy! We got out of there so quickly and decided to stay somewhere.
This place is nasty. So gross. Especially the bathroom. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but I will be checking out after 1, even though we already paid for the 3 and will not be reimbursed. We booked through Priceline.com and apparently there’s nothing they can do either (well except a 15% off)
A comfortable and well-appointed establishment with clean and comfortable rooms. It was ideally positioned for our needs and very quiet and we would have stayed for another couple of nights had the hotel not been full on the night after our arrival. We had limited contact with the staff but those we saw appeared intent on ensuring that guests needs were met. Breakfast choices were limited as expected but perfectly acceptable to us and the food provided was fresh. My only complaint is that the in-room wi-fi was extremely weak and erratic - despite our rooms proximity to the lobby and I found it impossible to use the Internet to catch up on business correspondence and needs. Otherwise, this hotel ticked all our boxes and, as said, we would have stayed on if that had been possible.
This was quite a suprise to us while arriving. We have stayed with EconoLodge before and never have I ever seen a room this dirty. The floor was sticky a multiple places in the room. The bathtub seemed like it hadnt been washed in a while. The sink had little hairs in it. The bed sheets had strange stains which after examination, was javex stains (which to be fair isnt so bad.) We had read comments about possible bedbugs after reserving. We thoroughly checked our beds and they seemed bug free. The general cleanely-ness of the room was very pitable and down right unacceptable. One positive point was that the wifi was fast !
This hotel was okay overall. The lobby and room looked clean and the staff were nice. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled like cigarettes and was almost unbearable. The outside corridors were very dirty as well as dark and had discarded mattresses, cupboards, and shopping carts in them and the stairwells outside are starting to fall apart. A bit of basic maintenance and this place would feel a little safer to stay at.
I was traveling with a group and we had 3 rooms-- 1 king non smoking, 1 king smoking and 1 double smoking. For the smokers in my group it was a rare find to have smoking rooms available. All of the rooms were clean and all had relatively new bedding on them. They were all very quiet. The breakfast was a continental breakfast (all cold foods) and it was well stocked. Flat screen TVs with plenty of channels in each room. The best part of this hotel was the front desk service. First we arrived at 1PM. Even though check in was 3PM, they got us our rooms. The person staying in the king smoking was 72 years old and the room was on the 2nd floor (no elevator). They moved him to the 1st floor without issue. After we checked out and miles down the road, they called me to tell me that we left a very nice shirt behind. I asked them to mail it to me and they did without charging my credit card. I totally recommend this hotel if youre traveling on a budget and you want a clean quiet hotel with a front desk that cares.
I didnt expect the Econo Lodge in Colonie to be much, but it met and exceeded my expectations! The room was huge-much larger than any budget hotel or inn Ive used in the past. First room I had was supposed to be non smoking, but smelled so bad of cigarettes, I got a headache. When I called the front desk, they offered to switch me immediately. 2nd room was fantastic. Super clean. Bed was comfy, and 4 pillows each bed (2 doubles)! Couldve used more coffee/sugar in room for the coffee maker, but overall, great hotel. Near everything you could need! Will stay again!
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. For the price especially, I was shocked. The bathroom was one of the cleanest bathrooms Ive stayed in, and I have traveled around the world. The room and bedding was also very clean, I had no issues using the bed sheets provided (as I brought my own expecting to have to use them.) Also, that was the first time I have ever used the continental breakfast, and it was perfect! Fresh bagels, muffins and donuts. Along with juice and coffee. The lobby was cute and clean and had a fireplace and tv for when you are enjoying your breakfast. Check in and check out took no more than 5 minutes a piece also. I give this hotel a 10 out of 10 for budget hotels (keeping in mind I did not want a microwave or fridge). Thank you for the great experience!
Room was clean and modern. Its not luxurious but has what you need to stay overnight. Breakfast was of very low quality food/drink so we stopped going to their breakfast. Again, for the price, it was worth it. Staff always very nice, but like I said I could not communicate with housekeeping staff very well.
Good basic hotel. Good mattress; TV worked (after help was summoned to plug it in); nice working table in room for meals, reading the paper, doing work. Very hard to find hotel room - numbers by the door were not lit, and are very small. Toilet seat is too low (below comfort height of 18 above the floor). Shower water power was excellent; theres a coffee maker in the room.
The lobby & breakfast area are very nice but the stairwells & hallways to the rooms are terrible. Garbage bins were overflowing, the carpet was torn & extremely dirty & the stairwell was dark. The lock in our room was hanging off the wall. The room & bathroom however were very clean & the bed was nicely made & comfortable. The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast, good enough & good coffee. The staff were all very nice.
In good weather we power through our 11 hour trip to see family. However, this time we needed an inexpensive place to stay to break up the trip. This hotel delivered what we needed: a clean, comfortable place to sleep. The room had newer bedding and was quite large. The heat was already on, which was a real plus coming in from the cold. The room was quiet and we had a good nights rest. We were thankful for a well-stocked breakfast of cereal, coffee and breakfast breads to start us on the road. Great value.
I was very satisfied with every aspect of my stay. The low cost was the reason I stayed here, I just needed place for the night by myself. The young woman at the desk was very pleasant and efficient. My room was clean and comfortable. The flat screen television and hi def programming was excellent! Wifi worked great for what I needed. Nice fridge and microwave. The breakfast is truly continental, the only thing hot is coffee and toast, but nothing else was promised. For me it was just fine. I would definitely stay here again.
There was a million things wrong with our room. It is the most disgusting hotel Ive ever stayed at. Looks like it hadnt been cleaned in years! And was falling apart. Holes in walls, plus walls covered in something, looks like it was spilled iced tea all over the walls. I would give this place negative stars!
Most Econo Lodge hotels are older properties and they show it. THIS ONE DID NOT. I was quite surprised how nice the hotel was. The lobby was very nice, the room very comfortable & clean and the front desk staff very accommodating. Took care of my packages arriving several days before I arrived which I was very happy about. Malls, movie theaters and food places were nearby as well. Very good stay - I would stay again.
Check in was efficient despite there were several parties checking in too. Got room #126 for a night. The room was spacious and the beds okay, however, the management seriously need to maintain the property better; we found 3 bugs, broken wall panel, paint chipping on the doors and an outdated refrigerator with a worn out wash cloth in the freezer compartment. Please see pics. We DO NOT recommend this hotel!
This place was pretty run down. The outdoor hallways were carpeted and parts were missing sections of carpet or it was rolled up. Someone could trip and get really hurt. There was a very strong pot odor. The room was decent until we checked the bathroom. There was a hole in the wall next to the shower from water damage that management seemed to not care enough to fix. The room wasnt carpeted which isnt a big deal, just different. The signs in our room looked aged and had corners broken off. Next time Im in town, Ill spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else thats a little nicer.
We stayed here for an extended visit with family. The room was nice, clean and large. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The bath was clean and looked to be recently updated. The shower worked well, and we had plenty of hot water. Nice to be able to stand under the shower head without bending over. The room had a microwave and apartment sized refrigerator that both worked well. Even though the property was on a major highway, the room was quiet. The only caveat is that you are right across from a fire station. You WILL hear the siren. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The only problem we had was handled promptly and efficiently. WE would stay here again.
My wife and I only stood for one night, but the overall experience went very well and for the price of the stay, it was well worth it! Room was spacious and very clean! Bed very nice and the bathroom was beautiful. I really enjoyed the free breakfast they provided. I would go back without a doubt. Service was nice and the entire place was very clean.
Rooms were clean. However when we got there our room door was wide open, we had called the front desk for a change of room and she didn’t want to give us a new room. The AC/heat hardly worked. We had house keepers knocking on our door at 930 am. And we requested a 12 o’clock check out. At 1140 house keepers we’re knocking on our door again telling us we had to get out because that was their job.Called to speak to the manager this morning. Very rude and poor customer service. Told us there was nothing he could do about anything. And to write a review if we wanted.
Uncomfortable! Both of them. Did like size of fridge. We did have to check in early. I dont expect anything for free. But i was charged $96.00 DOLLARS! Almost crapped my self when seen that!! Also placed loaded with shade people! Drinking liquor outside middle of day. All that said I wouldnt of cared if WASNT charged 96.00!! For 1 day and quarter!
I stayed at Econolodge in January and the young medical student that checked me in was very quick and handled everything with exceptional smile and was very professional. The room was very clean and definitely a great value for its price. The breakfast was actually good! The internet was a bit slow and had to call for extra pillow (which was brought to my room very quickly and the young lady actually called back to make sure I was comfortable with my stay). I have stayed at this hotel few times before and would recommend staying here for business or pleasure. Located about a mile from Colonie Mall with plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from.
Room was large, fresh smelling and very clean. Bed was really comfy! Had a really great flat screen TV, working and good sized fridge and microwave, lots of storage and floor space, table with two chairs and lots of space in the outer bathroom area, where the sink was located. The toilet/tub area was much smaller and fairly dated although the curved shower rod was nice. Cons: old, two story, motel style lodging which required much better lighting to be able to see my room number when driving up to my room. Had to pull in, shine my headlights on another rooms number then count backward to find mine! Ratty looking indoor, upolstered chair being used as outdoor chairs beside the doors. Mattresses stacked leaning against the walls of a walkway....new ones?...old ones? Couldnt tell. Wifi connection VERY spotty. Fine in the lobby, but faded immediately in the room. Overall, this is a great place to stop for the night if you are looking for a clean room and a comfy bed and nice people at the front desk. I would not hesitate to stay here again
This hotel is located on a very busy main road and is convenient to many restaurants and businesses. The continental breakfast was good and served in a nice area of the hotel. The rooms were average, nothing bad about them but nothing to write home about either.Leaving and entering the hotel by car is a nightmare and extremely dangerous. Traffic is very heavy and waiting 10 minutes or more to pull out is common. Finding the entrance to pull in is just as dangerous. This hotel desperately needs a different entrance and exit route. The room was clean but during my three night stay, the cleaning crew never cleaned the room once. Not sure what is going on there.Aside from the road and traffic issues the most annoying thing was the woman working the reception desk. She was rude and cold and gave an immediate bad impression for the stay.Overall this is an average place to stay, moderately priced and clean enough. however, I dont think I will return when I have business again in the same area. That reception girl has got to go............
For a 2-star hotel, we werent expecting an exceptional stay. The hotel was not dirty, however it was a bit outdated with the exception of new flooring. The beds were uncomfortable; worn out pillows, old spring mattresses, stained bedding and sheets. The lighting in the room released a horrendous buzzing noise, while the air-conditioner was unbearably loud and rattly (I enjoy sleeping with constant loud noise but it was truly unbearable). However, I can say that the hotel was in a phenomenal location. Wonderful restaurants and shopping areas in the area made for a good evening before attempting to sleep in the hotel.
Everything was perfect, Nice up to date room. Comfortable beds and great breakfast options. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again. If you are looking for a low cost option with out all of the bells and whistles this is a great option.
The room was clean and comfortable. I had requested freshly washed bedspreads and I was pleasantly surprised to see what appeared to be brand new linens on the bed. The room had all of the basics; nothing extravagant, but perfect for my purposes. The check-in and check-out procedure was seamless, and the staff was helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a great hotel in a nice hotel with everything the business traveler needs to conduct their business.I enjoy pulling up to my room without having to climb stairs or go through a lobby. The rooms are extremely spacious with excellent television service, furniture, lighting and a comfortable bed.I was also able to work from my room on my first day, and had the benefit of being able to look out my window while concentrating on my work.If you want a great hotel with comfort for a great price, I would encourage you to stay at this hotel.
Had a great 1 night stay here recently. Check in was fast and efficient. Room was immaculate. I check everything out on arrival always at hotels and this was about perfect. Pillow cases had some deep stains but found perfect clean ones of the pillows on both beds. Bathroom, tub, toilet, sink, bed linen, towels were all perfect and not stained. Comfortable bed. I wish they would install digital thermastats so the AC shuts off when its cool enough. Conveniently located on the main strip. Glad I chose this for a comfortable overnight
I was there for one night and it was ok. If I needed to stay for more than one night I would have gone to another hotel. The facility needed sprucing up. My bathroom had broken floor tiles and the water pressure in the shower only worked if it was on fully hot or fully cold, it would turn off if you put it somewhere in between. There was furniture that Im assuming was being put out for trash left in the stairwell. If I hadnt made a reservation and was just driving around looking for a place to stay, I would have passed on it. Staff was nice and the room was clean.
Needed to stay in hotel with my dog without spending too much. This hotel was fine No problems except breakfast was less than I expected. Listing says deluxe continental but I wouldnt call it deluxe. All I remember were, bagels, limited cereal, maybe some fruit. The room and beds were fine. Easy check in
The outside of the hotel made me think that I made a mistake booking a room. Unkempt, falling apart, and old furniture stacked in a pile. Getting into the room, you can tell that its dated, but at least they tried. The TV was much larger than I expected, the staff was friendly, breakfast was basic, cereal, toast, that sort of thing. If I had to stay again, I would, but if I wanted to go on vacation, I would get a better place. Not good, not horrible, great place to stay if you end up needing a room for the night
We stayed for 2 nights in June. The outside was a little off-putting with peeling paint and some ruined furniture behind the building. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The room was larger than expected and very clean. It was a quiet motel and we will likely stay there again in the future.
We thought we would be getting a cheap room for a night but we had a happy surprise! We had a large screen HDTV in the room with great cable reception! The beds and pillows were so comfy we slept like a dream! Everything was clean and comfortable! We definitely will stay again when we are back in the area.
Only thing I would say is the carpets need to be cleaned. they were a little musty, but it was a good overall experience and I would stay here again. If you are just needing somewhere to spend the night it is a great option. there are few cheaper hotels on the same road, but they are dirty. the bathroom here was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Excellent location and value. Ive stayed here a dozen times over last couple years and each time they seem to add some improvement: New chairs, updated HD TV, more rooms with microwave and fridge. This time they had done some exterior painting which improved the appearance.
Lobby was nice, checkin was fast. Outside is dumpy, room was large and seemed nice including a refrigerator and two microwaves (OK one didn’t work). AC worked great, internet was slow, but worked. Large counter in bathroom. TV was old tube type with lots of channels but picture varied. No fast food within walking distance, but lots about two miles away. Lots of workers at this hotel (construction, etc.) Bed was comfortable, shower sprayed water on wall behind bathtub. I reported it when I checked out.Motel connects to other businesses behind it, and even though they have signs telling people not to cut through, they do, so there is a lot of traffic.
I arrived from the airport at midnight, exhausted, and went straight to bed. Even though I had made the reservation several days in advance, the room had not been heated in preparation for my arrival, and although I turned on the room heater immediately, it took 2-3 hours for the room to warm up sufficiently for me to be able to sleep. Literally, the cold kept me awake. There were no spare blankets, either. I tried putting my coat over the part of the bed where my feet were, which helped a little. The bathroom in my room had a large black spot on the ceiling near the shower . . . mold, I think. The mens bathroom in the lobby was broken/ out-of-service, and the womens was not particularly clean. The breakfast had limited choices but was adequate. However, the orange juice was warm, which wasnt very appetizing. The person at the front desk was very efficient and I had no problems at all with check-in, reservations, check-out, etc. Also, the room was quiet, which I appreciated.
This was a pleasant stay at a restful place that renewed our faith in the Econolodge chain. We had previously had a stay elsewhere that had leaky toilets, smelly interior (carpets?) highway noise despite its location a distance awa from any freeway, rude clerks, and more. Here instead we were cheerfully greeted. then politely redirected to our room before proceeding down the incorrect corridor, The maid inquired whether we were planning to return to our room after breakfast so it would be OK to start sprucing the room. There were many other touches of courtesy, cleanliness, order, and proactive but tasteful management strategies that were clearly the habit of the staff. Did I say spacious rooms? Well, Albany is graced with a small motel laced with the grace of a 4 or 5 star hotel. Just not the unnecessary amenities of special services seldom used. This is a great place!
Horrible experience. I understand its a cheap place to stay but i didnt pay for the bed bugs or heavy layer of pet hair on the bed. When I told the front desk they brought me one blanket and one pillow without changing my room. I finally went back down and demanded another one, that bed was covered in literal dirt and there was a towel on the floor next to the bed with questionable stains on it. I finally got a clean room and was told it was a different house keeper so it should be better. Dont subject yourself or family to this place, splurge on that $70 night place you thought about but overlooked..
It was clean and reasonably priced. The Manager asked if we were satisfied with everything at checkout. Breakfast is the weak spot as the food is supermarket quality as opposed to fresh baked. It is a great location as the mall and many fine restaurants are within a few miles. We stay at Choice hotels most often but we were hesitant to try an Econo Lodge as we thought we would be giving up too much. The smaller rooms and beds werent an issue for us and the cleanliness was at the top of the scale.
The hotel is in decent shape it is older but clean and the lobby is very inviting. My room was a bit musty The bedding was a bit threadbare and the blanket had a burn hole in it. I had asked to switch to a room with a fridge but was told there were not any available. I did check online as I thought I had reserved a room with a fridge and saw that there were some available. Bathroom was clean nad had good water pressure and temperature. The chairs in the room were very stained and I wanted to put a towel down before I sat in them it was not inviting at all
The staff were kind, helpful and friendly! When asked about local dining they were very knowledgeable about the area. But the room and bathroom were not cleaned well. The carpet in the room was dirty and needs replacing. The room, bathroom and exterior of the hotel needs updating. They do have cameras and that makes you feel secure. I was very surprised to see a foot activated door jam to prevent someone from kicking in the door. Seeing this made me concerned that this hotel is more than likely not in a safe area or has had problems with people kicking in the hotel doors.
I arrived late (8:30pm) and left at 6:15am so I didnt have much opportunity to use the hotel. The front desk person upon check in was very personable and helpful. Having been on the road for several hours, she was able to offer some restaurant recommendations and print out a menu from an adjacent restaurant. This was very helpful as I was traveling with my dog and didnt want to drive any further. The hotel check-in was also very quick and easy, especially with having a pet and not needing to go through several hoops to get checked-in. I would stay here again.
It was a really nice stay. Clean and quiet. It snowed and it was quickly cleared. My room did not have a refrigerator or microwave and the front desk said it was because of the low rate. But that was not what was advertised. I would still stay again as long as I had a fridge and a microwave
First - you cant beat the convenient location of this hotel and the price, which is what brought us to the Econo Lodge Colonir Center Mall. The rooms are simple, clean and safe. The breakfast had a good variety, nice presentation, plenty of tables to sit. The lobby has a cool retro feel. What is really exceptional about this hotel are the people that work there. Everyone was so friendly and warm, helpful with area information and checking in/out was a breeze. We will be back!
We were in town visiting my daughter who lives nearby. I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to her apartment. And this was both! The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. It was not too hard and not too soft! I did like the coffee maker in the room.I was disappointed to find there was no fridge in our room. And there was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.
We got a nice deal on two rooms and only one room was a bit dissatisfying what with stale cigarette smoke smell and a dirty looking bathroom. We requested two smoke free rooms but I guess they ran out of that option so be prepared to buy some air fresheners. The rooms were large enough and had comfortable beds and pretty fast internet speeds. The hotel was in close proximity to decent restaurants and the actual city of Albany was a 10 minute drive. All in all, it is great for a 1-2 night stay.
Dont get a room by the staircase. Comfy beds. Dirty bathroom. Great location.. Home away from home for construction workers (the people who gather outside) would stay again for price and comfy beds.. Bring some cleaning wipes to wipe down bathroom! Air/heat worked fine.. Tv old but worked without issue.. Electrical outlets by bed for phone chargers(youd be surprised how hard that can be to find !) office staff not very friendly.
This was the seventh time I have stayed at this EconoLodge in Colonie, NY. There are 5 other motels in the immediate vicinity, but this EconoLodge is my favorite. The sheets and towels were immaculate and soft. The bed was very comfortable. The carpet looked brand new and was clean. The continental breakfast was adequate and appreciated. I requested a room that had not accommodated pets and the manager/owner was happy to oblige. The public transit bus stop was located in front of the motel parking lot. I travel public transportation all the way so that convenience was much appreciated. I will definitely stay at this EconoLodge again.
We spent the week here at the motel and were very happy with the accommodations, we would leave very early in the am and when we would return in the early afternoon the room had been serviced so we could relax. The beds and pillows very comfortable nice big flat screen TV and water pressure in the shower was excellent.
The bathtub had black mold in all the joints around it and the bottom of the tub was pretty black as well. Beds were comfortable, good TVs but the air conditioner was super loud. I ended up spending a good 15 fixing the frame so it wasnt vibrating so much or else we wouldnt have been able to sleep. Also housekeeping just barges in without knocking luckily we had the lock on preventing it from opening all the way.
We arrived a little later than we expected, the two girls at the front counter were great. Friendly, smiling and very cheerful. The room was as expected. The beds were fine. A nice night sleep. Breakfast was ok.....coffee was hot...bagels were fresh. Check out was the only disappointing part. We had to wait to be helped.. not long , but long enough to wonder .......the gentleman was in the back room...not sure what he was doing, but customer service was not his strong suit......
This was the sixth time I have stayed at this EconoLodge in Colonie, NY. There are 5 other motels in the immediate vicinity, but this EconoLodge is my favorite. I enjoyed staying that I was happy to extend my visit one more night and retained the same room without any issue. One easy fix would be to have night staff more aware of the items provided in the room. Another easy fix would be to have copies for guests of their receipts and the items they sign. Ice machine is in the lobby and being at the very rear of the hotel ensured that I wasnt going to get any at night.Nice place, quiet room, and close to everything. I will choose it again when I return to Albany.
I was in town for a family gathering, and did not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. The Econo Lodge fit the bill. As others have mentioned, the outside appearance of this hotel leaves much to be desired. However, my room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I did not have the free breakfast, or even coffee (Dunks is right next door :-) ) so I have no comment on that. Overall, a good stay.
Room was clean, comfortable beds, clean linens and towels. Would have liked higher pressure in the shower but it was acceptable.Decent offering of TV channels, storage space for clothing.Toiletries provided - shampoo, conditioner, lotion - all OK.Not much available for breakfast.Id stay again, definitely.
Ok. Staff were ok. Hotel quality is just ok but not like I would prefer. But what I dont like is their breakfast, just bagels, muffins, coffee and juice and some other little breakfast stuff, but if you are looking for the whole breakfast with eggs. Sausage and the rest. Forget it. I didnt get that. But in general its an ok hotel.I give it a 3 star.
Not good, do not stay there. They enter my credit card in the computer as an American Express when it should have been master card then they said my card didnt work to charge me for the room and delayed mi check out. I called to extend my stay one more night and in the morning they wanted me to check out because nobody New about the extra night. They need to improve staff communication skills. The smell in the lobby is disgusting which makes you realize from the instant you get there that your stay will not be what you expected.
Walked in to the lobby which smelled of cigarette smoke. Keys did not work the first time I attempted entering my room - when I returned to the desk I had to wait 5 minutes before a staff member showed to help me. Once I got into my room it smelled musty and damp - as if the room hadnt been visited by anyone for days. The A/C didnt lower room temperature to my satisfaction. There was no shower head in the shower - just the hook out of the wall. Room was clean with plenty of towels. The internet stopped working after an hour and never came back. Breakfast didnt have anything I could eat available. Also to me this location is a motel rather than a hotel. It is run down, and doesnt contrast well with the other hotels on the strip. I felt unsafe leaving my room in the dark.
This was the fourth time I have stayed at this Econo Lodge in Colonie, NY. There are 5 other motels in the immediate vicinity, but this Econo Lodge is my favorite. I will definitely stay at this Econo Lodge again.Room Tip: I always request an upper level room and a room that has not accommodated dogs.
From the moment we enter, the employee was very nice! The room was very clean; modest and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and it was great to shower there. The lobby was very simple, but Homey. Loved everything about the place and would certainly go there again.
This hotel is one of few who allow pets. It was our pleasure to stay in an extremely clean room with our dog. This is the third year we stayed at this hotel and will be back next year. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just enough. With booking in advance we get an unbelievable price. To be able to have a clean room and our dog with us makes the trip even more enjoyable. See you next year!!!
The hotel was adequate. The room was clean but pretty bare boned. There was a coffee maker and an iron and ironing board, a TV and a table and two chairs. There was no luggage rack or clock radio. The hallways to the stairways were covered with indoor-outdoor carpeting that was very dirty and ragged. The carpeting on the stairs was the same; some rubberized stair treads at the edge of the steps were missing. This did not give an overall good appearance or the feeling of safety. Pieces of old carpeting was strewn about this walkway. The breakfast buffet, while being adequate, could have been enhanced by having some fresh fruit available in addition to the cereal and breads. The ice machine was a long distance from our room. There were storerooms near the ice machine and vending machine area that were open, displaying lots of boxes and what looked like garbage piled up.The staff did their job. Beds were made; clean towels placed in the room daily. The breakfast bar was monitored. The staff were serious but not unfriendly.
My daughter and I stayed at the Econolodge while visiting a college in Albany. The room was comfortable and neat when we arrived. Its near shopping and food with a Cumberland Farms right next door. The price wS really reasonable. The bathroom could have been cleaner (baseboards) and it was obvious the toilet seat is old (looks like paint is coming off) other than that, everything was great. The gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating!
Hotel was clean, and appeared mostly well kept. A/C was a lot quieter than in the last two hotels weve stayed in. Price was right, breakfast was OK. Fix a couple maintenance issues - toilet not flushing properly and broken door lock, and Id definitely stay there again.
Rooms were dirty and falling apart. Beds are uncomfortable. Was harassed by the manager while moving my stuff out of the room a few hours prior to checkout that i am not allowed to access my room until I settle a payment issue that could’ve easily been settled after i finished cleaning out the room. I was discriminated against based on my age, which i find unacceptable.
Overall a great no-frills stay at a great affordable price-point vs other options in the area. Nothing fancy but it was clean and staff was helpful and accommodating. Breakfast choices were limited but my kids enjoyed them. We had a great stay, Id stay again with the family anytime.
The lobby recalls a rustic mountain lodge, yet the hotel itself is on a commercial road near the airport. The continental breakfast was not as fresh as I had expected, but was ample. The lobby contains information for several area attractions. The sink in my bathroom showed obvious signs of wear. I was easily able to park, and I felt safe leaving my vehicle overnight in the parking lot. The wifi did cut out as I was streaming a movie on my tablet.
I have stayed here before and would recommend this property. It is conveniently located off of the highway. Staff was friendly and understanding when we experienced strong smell of tobacco in assigned room. We immediately got a new room. Continental breakfast was adequate. Problems with WI FI, after many attempts finally got it to work, somewhat.
I want to say that you get what you pay for but I have definitely had better experiences at this price point. I needed a central place to stay...more specifically, to sleep. This hotel met my needs. Room was clean (mostly), and a positive attempt at modernization had obviously taken place. The one MAJOR drawback for me? The one concession I wont make again? The stairwells you must enter to reach second level rooms were frightening to me. Especially, Im sure, because I was traveling solo. Of course, on my first trip through the dimly lit and heavily concealed hallway, I had the pleasure of being accompanied by a total stranger who may or may not have been residing at the hotel...Oh joy! Hunger brought me out after dark on the first night but I hunkered down tight on the second night, despite having left my cell phone charger in the car. Im not easily frightened but these stairwells made me very nervous. Will probably stay again (price, Choice loyalty), but never solo.
The staff was very helpful. The rooms very clean. We went to Albany for a concert with five kids. We arrived at the hotel with just enough time to check in and head out to the concert. Check in was very quick and professional. The rooms were basic, but very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and appealing to the kids who are pretty picky eaters. Check out was a breeze. Very nice stay.
Mold on cracked bathroom ceiling, no refrigerator or microwave, noise transmitted from upstairs, bleak breakfast choices, complete disregard for the room requests we made when booking (near lobby, room with fridge and microwave). Not great but okay on the first night, totally disappointing when we returned a week later. Great location, poor accommodation.
Ive stayed in all the Choice Hotel properties in the Colonie Center area in the last 3 months and this is the only one I stayed in more than once. All things considered, it is the better value. The other hotels in the immediate area are a little creepy and they have the same or inferior rooms, amenities, breakfast, etc. and they cost more. This one is a very straightforward motel, pretty clean, quiet, good cable, no bugs, standard Econo Lodge breakfast. Also the owners seem to be making efforts to improve the property and I hope they continue to do so.
When I travel to Albany for business, the Econo Lodge on Central Avenue is my go-to place. The staff is always very accommodating. On my last visit I wanted to stay there on Friday and Saturday night, but they were sold out for Saturday. I stayed there on Friday and the manager took my cell phone number. On Saturday, he told there was a cancelation for a smoking room. Even though I prefer non-smoking, I made the reservation. But between that time and my arrival, the manager had another cancellation and reserved a non-smoking room for me. He stayed on topof things for me to get me the room I wanted for Saturday too. That is one of the many reasons I choose his hotel when I am in that area.
Save yourselves the hassle and book elsewhere. There are plenty of other options in the immediate vicinity. This motel has seen better days. The beds are ancient and extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were a joke. My husband and I both woke up with neck and back pain and we were in such discomfort that we were grateful to check out and not have to spend one more night on that bed. My husband complained to the staff at check out and was told that the motel is in the process of updating the beds, but that there were still 20-25 rooms left to update. Seems odd that in a motel appearing half empty, we would still be assigned one of the not updated rooms. Also, the bathroom was atrocious! It smelled like mildew, the shower curtain was moldy and the faucet for the tub pointed at the wall, not into the tub. I would highly recommend booking anywhere but at this motel.
We stop at this hotel chain (choice hotels) for many years, and The last time we stopped at this econolodge hotel. The room service was top of the line. The front desk was very professional and polite, somehow the last 2 days we had different rooms, one in non-smoking and one in the smoking area. The man at the front desk named Bob was very patient and polite, he solved our problem very quickly. And thank you very much.
This was just a one night stop on a long road trip, but it did what we wanted. It was clean and comfortable and in the right spot. The continental breakfast was less than exciting but better than nothing. The people at the check-in desk were not really friendly, I kind of like to actually be actually greeted when I check in.
Smooth check-in. Room was in excellent shape, no complaints at all about the look of things. This was better than some Econolodges where I stayed in past years. Breakfast included juice, coffee, cold cereal, fruit, and a variety of breads. I would be happy to return here. Easy access from the interstate highway.
First off, the manager was rude to my daughter when she requested a blanket our first night there. We arrived on a snowy, rainy evening and he stated in a yelling manner to her that she couldnt get a blanket. I was tired from the long drive, so I did not address it that evening. Secondly the next day I asked for extra towels and I had to switch out towel for towel. So I never received any extra towels. Thirdly, I always request a late check out when I book my reservations thru Choicehotel.com, for some reason, this wasnt noted. The first gentleman came by around 11:40 and I told him we were getting our things together to leave. 5 minutes later we received a phone call stating it was time to check out. Thirdly the same manager from not wanting to give up the towel came to the room around 12:10, Although at this time, I had the curtains pulled back to show into the room and I had the front door ajar. So he could clearly see we were on our way out the room. I think that was an over kill. I cannot believe that they were that pressed to clean that room to re rent it. Overall, I was not satisfied with how we were treated.
The best shower I have ever had.In general, I am very satisfied with my stay. There were a few little things here and there, such as slow internet (it worked fine though), and it doesnt have the greatest outside appearance. But its an Econo Lodge, not an Ascend Collection property, and the hotel delivers what it is supposed to as an Econo Lodge. Very quiet area.
Checking into the motel, we were excited because the lobby was beautiful and welcoming. When checking into the room, our opinion quickly changed. Had it not been late at night and knowing we would lose the money we already paid, we would have gone someplace else.1. The door bolt did not work. We had to rely on the slide bar for security2 The carpet was dirty, enough to dirty my socks3. There were no blankets in the room, and only sheet and cover on the bed4. This was a nonsmoking room, yet the smell of smoke, from outside? nearby room? another floor? ventilation? was so strong that you would have sworn there was a smoker IN the room.5. TV did not work properly. WiFi was in and out.We called maintenance about TV, fixed. Asked about the smoke and he insisted he smelled nothing. I even told front desk the next morning , the clerk just kept repeating that it was a non smoking room and the whole block of rooms was reserved for nonsmoking. (As if that changed the fact that there was smoke there.)
Ive stayed here several weeks for business and this hotel is the most inexpensive in the Colonie/Albany area. Dont let the price chase you away, the rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is amazing. Its why I stay here Sunday through Friday consistently!! Smoking rooms are available and pets are welcome. Also one of the safest hotels. Close to shopping and only minutes from downtown Albany. Very convenient for me to get to and from work every day!
Disgusting. Our beds were made with dirty sheets, the rest of the room was half attempt cleaned. We didn’t have this problem previously hence why we booked here again. Probably won’t again based on this experience. I feel like I wasted my money paying for a dirty room when the friend who stayed with me worked for a hotel previously cleaning rooms and was disappointed as well.
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. The staff was not the least bit accommodating. The manager lacked the necessary knowledge and customer service to want any return service. The manager also stated in front of multiple guests how bad your smoking hotel rooms costs. Im sorry but if I knew any of this information prior to booking I would have never stayed there. You live and learn and I will never stay at your hotels again. I will also make sure everyone I know never stays at your hotels.
I would never stay at this hotel again. It was unkempt, the room was damp, with a funky smell and the beddings had strange stains on it. We checked in very late and were too tired after our 3 hour drive and 2 hour flight, and had no energy to go down to the lobby to register our complaint. We checked out immediately in the morning. The curtains were grimy and the general upkeep of the room was abysmal.
The lobby was nice and the staff member that checked us in was very friendly. The room was pretty old looking and moldy smelling. The cleaning staff cleaned the room but it was dark, dingy and I just felt like I couldnt wait to leave the next morning. The breakfast was pretty bad too, not much to choose from.
I will start with the checkin experience. I arrived early and the owner assured me the room would be ready in 10 min. I know I was early so I want to lunch and shopping. When I arrived the front desk clerk had my key already made, and had acknowledged that I requested a late checkout on the choicehotels site. The hotel was quiet, no prostitution, no traffic with loud idiots hanging outside and that is rare for that area. When checkout day came no one knocked on the door multiple times asking when I am leaving opposed to asking the front desk about my late check out. This was a first and I recommend this hotel anytime.
I got a nice and cozy bedroom, with a really good and clean bathroom, fridge, microwave, LCD TV. The staff were friendly. I didnt get the breakfast because I was out the hotel by that time. It is quite far from city downtown but you have 905 bus stop just in front of it and it takes you to the city in 20 minutes which is OK.
Room was clean, although bedding and carpet were worn. No fridge or microwave in room. TV was old. Staff was very friendly.Breakfast was fresh, but extremely limited - no fresh fruit, yogurt, or oatmeal. A good value for the money if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, no-frills place.
This hotel was clean inside the rooms and seem to be somewhat updated from most Econo Lodges. Outside needs some updating and cleaning. When I see a dirty outside it just turns me off. A little power washing and cleaning up and the whole place would reflect a better look.
The lobby and room were fine, would have expected it to have been priced about $10 less per night compared to others that are similar. Ice and snow build up was in excess around walking areas in parking lot. Room was warm and well lit, water was always hot and the room was clean.
The hotel had a nice appearance & the rooms were clean. The breakfast was okay but ALL carbs - maybe consider adding a refrigerated storage for some yogurt? Maybe a small drink dispenser instead of a warm carafe of oj? All in all, good place to stay in the Albany area.
Stayed here Nov. 8 and 9. Requested first floor room, which I received. No fridge or microwave, but I was told that. If I wanted those amenities I probably could have gotten them on second floor. Clean, quiet, everything worked. Asked not to be disturbed by housekeeping the second day, which was OK with manager. Pleasant continental breakfast. Close to Wolf Road and Colonie Mall, a very busy part of Albany area, but despite heavy traffic, getting in and out was easy with center-turn lane, and some patience. Will be back soon.
Stayed twice this trip 10/18 and 10/27/2016. This was 8th & 9th times I have stayed at this EconoLodge in Colonie, NY. There are 5 other motels in the immediate vicinity, but this EconoLodge is my favorite. The sheets and towels are always immaculate and soft. The beds are very comfortable. The carpet looked brand new and was clean. The continental breakfast is adequate and appreciated. The public transit bus stop is located in front of the motel parking lot. I travel public transportation all the way so that convenience is much appreciated. Since my last trip in May 2016, Cumberland Convenience Food & Gas Mart opened next door to the motel. That created a very convenient place to shop and much needed improvements to the public sidewalk between the motel and the transit bus stop. I will definitely stay at this EconoLodge again and will recommend it to anyone wanting a great place to sleep when visiting the Capitol Region.
Overall, our experience was disappointing. The reviews on the hotel were very generous and misleading. The breakfast was very sparse and the juice was awful. We would not have stayed except we arrived after our cancellation time and decided to tough it out because we were road weary and needed to stop.
This Econo Lodge is an older property and it shows in some parts of the room and in the building. Dont let that deter you from staying at the hotel. I had a comfortable stay, the front desk staff was friendly and the room was clean. There are places near by to eat and it is an easy jump onto the highway. I would return again if my travels brought me to the area again.
This hotel room was very clean, however, the hallway and stairs leading up to it were very dirty and grungy. The bed was awful-very springy-and only 3 flat pillows were given even though there were 2 of us. This is the first time weve stayed in an Econo Lodge and will be the last. We redeemed our points for this hotel as we didnt have enough for a Comfort Suites (our usual hotel preference) but wished we had just paid for a hotel somewhere else. We also based our stay on the 4 1/2 star rating we had seen on the Choice Hotels website. Either that rating was rigged or they dont have very high standards.
Damn, some of bead experience happened to me like the former reviews. 1. The heating system took 4 hours to warm the room, its night, very cold. 2. Terrible housekeeping. They came at 9:30 and knocked the door again and again, even didn’t understand what I was saying, I tildes them came afternoon. And they came back at 11:30, still arguing with that( actually I can’t even understand their English) 3. The room seemed longtime no cleaning. I found the hangers were dirty. Cause when I grabbed my right hand got colored dirts. NEVER TAKE A RISK IN THIS HOTEL!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!
The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. the parking lot did not make sense to me. the parking spaces where not pointing towards the entrance. other than that the place was clean, good water pressure in the shower, breakfast was a typical continental breakfast.
Lake Placid is a six hour drive from where I live. This hotel is at the half way point allowing a quick overnightstay with breakfast in the morning. Close to the Northway and easy to find. Clean and economical. I did notturn on the TV or use WiFi so I cant comment on those amenities. Room was nice and warm and bed wascomfortable.
This was my 10th stay at this EconoLodge in Colonie, NY. There are 5 other motels in the immediate vicinity, but this EconoLodge is my favorite. The sheets and towels are always immaculate and soft. The beds are very comfortable. The carpet looks brand new and was clean. The continental breakfast is adequate and appreciated. We were looking for a pet friendly hotel in the Albany Colonie area that was reasonably priced. Econo Lodge Colonie Center Mall was perfect. It is a beautiful place to stay, which isnt always the case in some pet friendly hotels. The staff couldnt be friendlier; the room was clean and spacious; parking was available right outside of our room. Didnt make it in time for breakfast, but the breakfast area looked very nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the place to friends looking for accomodations.
Generally was an acceptable for the price I paid. Cheerios and Friehofer donuts, with generic bagels does not rate as a deluxe breakfast and no creamers were available. General cleanliness was good if you did not look in the corners too close. The last night a large ant was crawling on the bed and a flying ant was in the room..probably carpenter ants. It was in a decent area of town which was important, no safety issues.
I stay at this location often. Sometimes I have to check in early and the manager, Bob, always finds me a clean room for only $10 extra. Other hotels cannot offer this, or charge $25 so this is a HUGE help to me. Staff is always friendly, and my room is always clean.
Used a free choice night so it was ok not a place we would stay long term. Musty smell bothered me if you are looking for an inexpensive stay short term probably ok. Bed seemed a little outdated too. Everything ok for value. Bath tub needs make over was very old and funky
A good inexpensive alternative to other area hotels which have scathing reviews. The wifi did cut out on me as I was streaming a film. Easy and ample parking; I was able to park right in front of my room. The continental breakfast is good for a quick bite but not much else. The room was spacious and clean, and came with a guide to the area. The sink in the bathroom showed obvious signs of wear. Overall it was a good value for the price ($60). Id recommend splitting with another person if you visit SUNY Albany or need accomodations within easy driving time of the airport.
The hotel room was very spacious. It had a microwave and a mini fridge. The television was big enough and had plenty of cable channels from which to choose. This hotel was close to the University of Albany and close to the malls in the area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
As I stated in previous [age, old hotel in need of much work, room was musty, mildew and mold in the bathroom. had to run the bathroom fan to control the smile.Should have realized what I was in for when the price was $30.00 a night less expensive than the Quality Inn right next store. Stay at the Quality Inn next store, no problems room very clean
You get what u pay for. The rooms and the building were disgusting. the room stunk like it has not been cleaned in years. it was 90 degrees out the day we arrived the room had no air conditioning on. We got a non-smoking room thats smelled of cigarettes, the pillows were as flat as tissue paper the mattresses were one of the most uncomfortable night sleep that I ever had , and the safety latch on the door was broken 4 years because they painted over the broken part
The staff were excellent, room was very clean and the stay was very comfortable. They serve breakfast which in my opinion for the price I paid for this hotel was great. Convenient location close to Colonie center mall and alot of places to dine at very close by. I will definitely refer this hotel to my friends and anyone who wants to save money
I was a late night arrival. Checkin went fast. Room (a king) was large. Obviously aged, but clean enough. The shower/tub liner could use replacement, as that was really the oldest and grungiest looking thing in the room. I loved the extra plugs and USB plugs on the bedside table... In this day, Im surprised more Motels havent put them in! Bed was comfy enough.
Front elevation of hotel shown on internet does not reflect what you really receive when you arrive there. The bathroom was not clean, especially the toilet. Bed linen smells from the previous guest accommodation. The lack of good hygiene makes one feel creepy staying in the room.
This hotel looks a bit dumpy from the outside. The steps up to the second floor are dirty, but once you are in the room it is better than just ok. The bedding is new and the room is clean. There is a nice Thai restaurant across the street that gives a 20% discount to hotel guests.
As mentioned earlier, this is a typical very low budget hotel, not spotless, but not very dirty either. Linens clean each day, but things like really grimy light switch in bathroom created a negative impression. Also as mentioned earlier breakfast left a lot to be desired, all carbs no protein, no decaf & watery orange juice
I stay at this facility once a quarter when I am in this area for business. Staff is always friendly and helpful. this is an excellent hotel and the breakfast is better than most Econo Lodges. I will definitively stay here in the future. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
Room was cleaned, but had a smell, carpet was stained and furniture was stained. There was a big area of mold on bathroom wall above showerhead, I did not shower. Staffing was pleasant enough but my request to extend my stay was met with reluctance, so thankfully, I left.
My daughter goes to college nearby and I always stay here when I visit her. This hotel has everything I need. Free wifi that actually works, fridge and microwave, comfortable bed and a great shower. Very reasonable rates. A lot of gas stations and restaurants nearby which is very convenient.

2022-07-02Just because the rooms are reasonably priced that doesn’t mean they don’t keep the property clean.Amenities in the room are pretty decent for the price paid however the rooms are not clean. The room has a strong cigarette smoke smell, floors are not clean, dust everywhere around the room, bathroom very unhygienic.Only positive part of the hotel is the polite service and the great location that’s all!The person behind the desk was kind enough to switch us from a very dirty room to a little okayish room.I’d say If at all the hotel is taken care of better this place could be a decent one night’s stay.

2022-06-23Overall an okay experience. Pricing was reasonable, the rooms were well furnished and comfortable, but everything just seemed a little sketchy. Not the most cozy outside of the rooms, but it wasnt terrible or a deal breaker.Just as a warning, cars tear through the parking lot doing 30+ mph, so be careful with your children.

2022-05-15Called to reserve and said we would be in late. They promised to hold the room for us. We even called a second time to confirm. They LIED. We got there and were told there were no rooms available. The guy at the front desk who we spoke to had the nerve to lie straight to our faces and tell us that he did not promise to hold the room for us. We ended up stranded at 3 AM with nowhere to go. Every other hotel was full. Forced to sleep in our car because of this hotels dishonesty. Avoid at all costs.

2022-03-21Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. A large plexiglass separates the front desk and customers. The lobby had a fireplace with TV with 6 tables and an ATM.Rooms dated but clean. Ours was suppose to have a refrigerator but it didn’t. Exterior could use some cleaning and carpets replaced, especially on stairs.Breakfast was two types of cold cereal, 2% milk, coffee with powdered cream and sweeteners. Two types of bagels (which were fresh), with butter and jam, English muffins and toast. There was also a machine for OJ and apple juice. Was nice to see they use paper products instead of styrofoam.Overall, for the price and location, it was a nice stay. They do allow pets for extra deposit.

2022-05-01Conveniently located on RT5/Central Ave not far from RT87, downtown, the airport, and Crossgates Mall. Price was pretty fair. Rooms were mostly clean. Bed was so so comfortable for me. The room had damaged walls, damaged bathroom doors and damaged room door...they let us know about the damage before we went to the room, but it was just not a sight you want to see when you stay somewhere. Area was mostly quiet. There is a fire station across the street that has a fire whistle that is quite loud when it goes off, but thankfully it didnt go off overnight

2022-07-10Was kinda creepy. Bathroom was dirty and was across the street from a fire department that sets off a very loud sound that goes off very often and am lag sounds like a tornado alarm. Staff was very nice and helpful but rooms looked old and broken down but a great place to stay for a night.

2022-04-26Room was bad. Floor to bathroom the tile was lose and or broken. Toilet was a slow flush. Outlet by bed was open only half a faceplate on outlet. Bathroom was not what was shown in picture. Bathroom fan was extremely loud sounded like it was going to fall from roof. Light outside was a strobe light.

2022-02-16I have stayed at this location several times and the value for the money is OK but I did run into a problem with the stairs that I had to use to access the second floor. They are covered with carpeting that was peeling up and the front edging of the stair tread was very loose in several places making them a trip hazard

2022-06-22How do you report them the rooms are a health hazard, covers has stains on it, a/c unit is dirty, smells very bad, people at front wont help and the outside is dirty too. They have a person that is to old to clean. So one needs to investigate them and look at all the rooms and give people their money back.

2022-04-26The guy at the front desk was nice and friendly however the bathtub was dirty, there were some dark spots on the bed sheet turned out to be dust, the microwave handle had grease on it
