I have a yearly plan through them. They setup 3 to 4 services a year to come spray and inspect property. But if you have any troubles in between the service calls, you simply call up and they have someone come out right away. I have had Corey as my exterminator for the last 3 years and he is excellent. I am the type of I see anything I’m on the phone. I only ever had to call them out once in between service calls the whole time I been with them. Cheektowaga Community page people are always talking about rats so I had Ehrlich place bait boxes all around my house and they fill the everything they come out too if needed.
Weve had Ehrlich Pest control since 2017 to help us with our rodent problem. Unfortunately they havent done anything to help or especially resolve our problem. They say with their 365 plan they come out quarterly and inspect for entry ways and such, never mentioning finding anything. They wouldnt go up in our attic due to no flooring. We hear scratching noises in walls/ceilings and have had them come remove several mice that have been caught, never seeking a solution though. They were supposed to have a supervisor come out, never heard back about that either(why it would take years of this non resolved problem to finally suggest a sup coming out is ridiculous as well) After not hearing back I cancelled their services, and requested to consider partial refund of all the money weve put into having them try to help us with no response except We cancelled your account per your request. Thanks for taking our hard earned money all these years and not helping us. We have now hired a new person to address our problems, one service call he came, inspected our place in the evening for 2+ hours and found several areas that need filling and will be taking care of that for us as soon as the weather breaks. Families should not continue to come too you after many encounters of sleepless nights from listening to mice scratching at their walls/ceilings while you do nothing about it except have your staff tell us they are sorry and they understand our frustrations. If you truly cared and understood what its like you would have done all you could to fix our problem, and not continue to charge us monthly for a problem youre not actively trying to solve.
Working with Ehrlich has been a great experience. When a rodent got into our crawl space we contacted them right away. A day or so later a specialist came out to the house and inspected inside and out.They made several suggestions on how to avoid any further rodents from getting in.Our specialist comes out once a month and examines the traps, refills the bait if needed.The he gives us an update of what he found or didn’t find. Our specialist is courteous and friendly.Ehrlich is accommodating to any needs that we may have with our schedules. Their web site is easy to navigate, and paying your bill online is quick and simple.I would recommend Ehrlich to anyone that may have any type of pest problem.
We have used Ehrlic off and on for maybe 5 years now. They always do a really nice job when they come out. They are helpful and knowledgeable as well. The past couple of times though we have felt like the technician is rushing through his visit. We have also felt like he is a little less interested in doing the whole job kind of like he is skimping on things. All in all we will continue to use them and call to address our feelings about our current tech.
They are a shady company. Check the BBB website, Im not alone here. Would not cancel my contract, would not stop calling me, it took me a year to get them off my back. Dont pay for the monthly service either. I had a birds nest I needed dealt with (called them over since I had a contract) Its about 11 off the ground, wide open. I just didnt have a ladder. They still wanted to charge me the full $280 for the service fee! For climbing a ladder and popping off a birds nest. After paying them for years there was no discount and the pricing alone is outrageous. Avoid them, find someone, ANYONE else.
Unprofessional technician that dont have a clue what they are doing. They just want your money!! Ba customer service, I was supposed to be issued a 50% REFUND for unsatisfactory services, that was over 2 months ago!! I still have not received my refund!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!NO ONE has reached out to me as of yet. I want the refund as promised! I have been calling non stop. Spoke to a supervisor named Cynthia promised to fix call back and never did!!
I have been with this company for several years with no real problems. I have tried relentlessly, for over a month, with phone calls, emails, etc. to schedule service. There has been no response by a technician or a valid attempt to schedule a service appointment by any management representative. I dont know what happened to this company but today I requested cancellation of my service. Hopefully another vendor may enjoy my uninterrupted business.
My technician was very thorough and efficient. However, communication with the office was lacking. I was never contacted about scheduling the first appointment and had to email the salesperson who set up my service. Although I was supposed to have received a message, I never did. And I received an invoice two weeks after I had paid by check at the time service was set up, so I had to call the office and verify that my payment was received.
Elrich is great. I originally got them because I had an issue with mice and once that got corrected I just ended up keeping them. In the Summertime my house is really bad with centipedes which I absolutely despise. Lol. Elrich takes care of that issue. I dont mind paying a few bucks a month to take care of issues like that. Its definitely a piece of mind.
We are extremely pleased be an Ehrlich Customer for many years. Last week, I spotted an infestation of Yellow Jackets in the eve of our roof. I had planned to call the following Monday to set up a service. That prior Saturday, our fantastic technician (named Michael C.) came to our home for a Fall Inspection. Michael spotted the Yellow Jackets and applied two treatments. He then called me personally, and told me what he encountered. He asked me to keep an eye on the activity, as Yellow Jackets are especially brutal this year.By the following Tuesday, the activity had diminished, but there was still signs of activity. I called Ehrlich Pest Control and placed a new service call. A new technician named (Cole G) reapplied additional dust. This second application was Key. Cole and I discussed this service, and what he encountered. One day later, there is NO Activity around the hive! Thank you Ehrlich for keeping my family safe.
Service is no longer coming from where I originally was receiving. Now they come from Buffalo NY, due to people have quit in Erie Pa. The problem I encountered was this person from Buffalo showed up, and I instantly picked up on the observation that this person was NOT interested in being here. I wont go into details, but his immediate lack of professional duty/performance on the job was not acceptable or appreciated. I am discontinuing my account with Ehrlich now.
The technicians are all knowledgeable, friendly and professional; they do seem to change frequently. The service is getting expensive and keeps increasing. Customer service has gone downhill the last couple of years- no one ever gets back to you despite assurances they will do so.
We have used Ehrlich for just under a year now. We have always had a friendly, knowledgeable, professional technician make sure all pests are being taken care of. Its comforting to know if there are issues in between scheduled visits, it just takes a phone call to have someone out within a day or two. I highly recommend Ehrlich.
Do NOT use Ehrlich for your pest removal. It was such a headache and communication disaster to get them to come for service. I called initially to have someone come for vole removal, and it took two weeks and 5 phone calls to actually get them to come to the house. Each person I spoke with recommended a different service, and they did not have any notes or records of services that other staff members had recommended. On the day they were finally scheduled, during a window of 8am-1pm, they came at 3:45 after we called again. Now that the service has been performed, I just received a bill for an additional $400 on top of what we were quoted!!! The business is a disorganized mess, and has been nothing but a hassle.
The phone system is long and complicated. After talking with two different people, I was able to make an appointment. They didn’t show up, however! When I called I was told they could see I had called but that no appointment was logged. I asked that someone come out as requested and was told the best she could do was sending an email to a supervisor.
I told the technician that I had seen wasps going behind the shutters on my home and the overhead garage door. Targeted pests indicated on my invoice were misc. insect, occasional invader, ants, miscellaneous ants, stinging insects, carpenter bee, bedbugs, stinging insects and yellow jackets. He performed a full exterior inspection and treated as as needed and I am appreciative of the job performed.
They came out to do an estimate for free which turned out to be enough information to help me finish. They didnt push sales or service I didnt need and they didnt seem upset that I had dragged them out there. I forget the service ladys name but she was super friendly and good at her work. She identified the pest and the source almost immediately and I felt pretty foolish. I called the experts because I was running out of ideas, and they were very professional and friendly.They did quote me some assistance for removal and it wasnt unreasonable either, I almost took it but decided to just remove the source and keep it clean to keep chemicals away from our pups.
We were having an issue in the office with meal moths and finally were able to find a company that could come in and take care of the problem. Had our initial meeting, was told all of the facts and what Ehrlich could do for us and we agreed. They came in and set out their traps, very non-invasive and happy to say we are on our way to being meal moth free. Staff were beyond pleasant and courteous and happy to recommend Ehrlich for their outstanding service. Thank you.
I am very pleased with the service I received today from Sarah, the service technician.She was professional and very knowledgeable, she displayed a caring attitude about my situation with the mouse problem I have.She did an excellent job to deter mice from entering my home.I give her a 5 star rating!Thank you Sarah
Still have bed bugs years later after service. Bed has been replaced twice but the bugs still remain. Have been battling the bugs since their last visit and am being told I’ll have to pay for the service again. It wasn’t done right the first time why the heck would I pay this company to do it again?
I highly recommend you use another provider. We have been a customer for multiple years when it was Buffalo Exterminating. We pay an annual fee for quarterly inspections and for elevated service calls. I have a bee problem and contacted them on 7/30 and multiple times since. Its 8/3 and still no-one calls back. I highly recommend you go with a local company.
Kenny came out and went right to work very professional. I thought I had a rodent problem and he quickly discovered we also had a wasp problem all around the house. He took necessary safety precautions to rid us of the wasps as well. Very impressive he could of just took care of the rodents and went on about his day. He really went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for having such a professional person on your staff. I’m very happy we chose your company to do the job properly.
Ehrlich Pest Control is so good! They are so accommodating and very thorough! I usually get the same guy every time that comes to the house and he has been great! Weve been doing a continuous treatment plan just to make sure we have no problems and so far its been great!
Every time we call for service Sara comes out within a day, sometimes even within hours! Shes polite, efficient and professional. She explains the process, completes the service and then provides information on what to expect (if anything). We are completely satisfied with Ehrlich!
Our friendly service person is very professional, always tells us what she did and why she did it, based on the season tells us what we might keep an eye open for, reminds us to call if we notice any problems. The products used must be very good because she got rid of our ground bee problem with one application.
BEWARE! The schedulers are wonderful and I believe the folks that come to your house are knowledgeable, however, the company will bill you for work not done! I have been reviving an invoice for the monthly service even though I cancelled it a month before the date on the invoice. The women in the billing office can see that my service was cancelled but can’t delete the invoice. I even have an email that one of the very nice ladies from the billing office sent to sales explaining the situation, and the sales rep replied that “they don’t cancel invoices”. After that email exchange I received another invoice!! Do not use this company. Or, if you do, do NOT sign up for the monthly service. They don’t call before they come to your house, don’t send emails after they come out for a quarterly for a service, and charge for services you didn’t have! If you currently use them, check your invoice and follow up with them to be sure you are getting services.UPDATE: Ehrlich did contact me after this review and deleted the invoice. As mentioned above, the schedulers are wonderful and I do think the service men are very knowledgeable, I appreciate someone reaching out to help me.
Were a veterans post and are not open during the day. Ive talked to the technician, called the local office and district office and told them to call my cell phone and give me 30 minutes and I would be there. But nobody calls, they show up per neighbors. The technician get out of his truck walks around the building then leaves. A week or so I get a bill for full service.
Technician Sara Frank just left our home. She was professional, knowledgeable and skillful in applying the insecticides as needed. She did a thorough inspection of our house, garage and utility shed and made recommendations for future maintenance service scheduling. We appreciate her professional, pleasant demeanor and thoroughness. Give the woman a raise to reinforce her valuable customer service skills!
My last service did not go well. The individual who came to our house sprayed chemicals on our eaves. These chemicals left stains on our windows that had just been professionally cleaned. In addition, the run-off damaged our grass and landscaping. My wife asked him to remove an old bee/wasp nest. He said he didnt have anything long enough to remove it. He said someone would return to remove it. They have not. I do not want this individual to return to our house anymore. I also dont want similar spraying to be done at my home until someone calls me in advance and I approve it. If these conditions are not met, I will cancel my relationship with your company.

I had a terrible experience with Ehrlichs. First, I had an issue with a rat and the tech decided that stomping on the rat was acceptable. Im thrilled to have paid $300 for what I could have asked some random dude off the street to do. I also was told numerous times over the phone that the tech would do a THOROUGH inspection of my house to see where the rat came from and I had to ask numerous times and he still insisted that it came from my couch (that I have had for 5 years). 2 days later I found a dead mouse! So much for a thorough check. Oh, and he found a space outside and told me I could fill it myself. I requested a different tech for the follow up, and they said well well send the same guy with someone else. Its been almost a month and I still havent heard back from them to schedule anything. VERY dissapointed in this service and will be cancelling my membership. I have absolutely zero confidence that my home is pest free and will be looking for a different company in the future.
We have used Ehrlich Pest Control for years, starting when we had a yellow jacket problem. Since then we are on the year round maintenance and love it! No problems, and if any, they come out and fix it right away. Professional and friendly, explain what the problem is and how to avoid in the future. Highly recommend.
Too bad we cant give this company a half star. This company came to our house 1 time a few months ago. However, we got a bill they demanded us to pay. They claimed that they went back 2 more times. I informed them that they didnt and we now have carpenter bees doing destruction on our newly resided and reroofed home. The carpenter bees made holes everywhere. But they disagreed and demanded payment. SO we made a final payment and cancelled our services with them. Because we knew that they did not come back again. That they were only here once.Anyway after the check cleared we called the local office only to find out that they only came here 1 time for exterminating yet they triple billed us. Please look elsewhere as this company likes to scam people. Pay 3 times for 1 service call. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from companies like this. They are other more reliable companies please do your due diligence before selecting this company. You can thank us later. We hate to write reviews like this. But this company deserves it. Image getting triple billed for 1 service call how absurd then to confirm you call the local office and only find out that you were correct. They were here only once and they admitted that.
I was very dissatisfied. I had seen a few black ants in my house. I waited for the service person. I finally called and I was told the service person rang the doorbell but then left when he got on answer. I asked if they could come back out (this was a Friday) since it was still within the timeframe when he was supposed to come. They said no, he was too busy. I was on vacation on Monday as well as asked if they could come back then and they said no. Well, I wasnt available for the rest of the following week and then I left town for a week. When I got home today the first thing I saw was a couple of ants in the kitchen. First all, if the person rang the doorbell and I didnt hear it or answer, he should have called the number on file for me before leaving. Secondly, if I gave them the entire day on Monday, they should have offered to send someone out. So hell no, I was not satisfied.
I have been extremely pleased with the services I have received from Ehrlich Pest Control. I was having a bee problem near my front door and entrance way and their very friendly pest control agent came out and checked the area where the bees were and took care of them very efficiently and quickly. He then went around the whole house to see if there were more areas where the bees could be a problem. Needless to say, they were fast to act on my call, concerned about my problem and made sure I was highly satisfied with the service they provide. Everything was explained to me full before any service was conducted. I highly recommend their service and very professional staff to solve any problems you may be having.
When we moved into our new home 5 years ago we discovered an ant infestation under our deck. Ehrlich came out and solved our issue. We decided to sign up for their 365 plan that allows us to call them with any person issues at no additional cost.Our home backs up to a farm field. We get a lot of visits from many critters. Ehrlich solves it everytime. Highly recommend!
I have used Ehrlich Pest Control for two seasons and I am very satisfied with their care. They killed and removed a yellow jacket nest that was in an open crawl space in my house. It had over 300 yellow jackets! They have come in for emergency calls as well as my quarterly care. I have always felt comfortable with the technicians, and usually get the same one. They are willing to climb in tough places for bug or rodent control. I am so glad I have them to keep my house pest free.
I am very pleased with the customer service and exterminators from Ehrlich. They came out and sprayed for yellow jackets and box elder beetles. When I called to let them know that we were still having a problem with the yellow jackets, they came out that day and took care of it. It turned out that we had more then one nest in our mulch area. Thank you very much, we are now yellow jacket free.
Anytime I have any service performed on my home, I expect to know ahead of time when theyre coming. I never know with this company, since I do not get a phone call. To me, it is just common courtesy, but also helpful for budgeting purposes. I do not always get a service report either. I have spoken with management repeatedly asking for receipts, service reports, and phone calls for service appointments. I was charged for a revisit, when it was supposed to be free. I am not sure if I will continue service with them.
We paid $400 under the impression that they would fix the rodent problem we were having. We had 3 different men tell us they would get it done. The first guy set the traps wrong, the traps were too big for the boxes they were put it rendering them useless. We were told we would get a free visit due to this. On the 3rd visit, my husband asked the technician how it was going and he told him he would let him know. He packed up all the equipment and left without any conversation. When we contacted Elrich, we were told he would call us and he never did. $400 for 3 visits, one of which was just them collecting their boxes. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!! You could save a fortune by setting your own .69 rat traps, which is essentially all they did.
Their billing department is an absolute scam. !!!DO NO SIGN up with these people.Be careful what you sign up for.They will extra-charge!We had a credit card on file with them, yet we still had to call every month to tell them to use it. After a year, we said, enough was enough.And then, we found out that we were being billed for an extra charge that was not part of our original contract.We haved filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and New York State Attorney General.Do your research. They are no longer Buffalo Exterminating.
Ehrlich Pest Control services are the best that I have encountered. I have rental properties and there was construction going on one block away. With one phone call and a clear understanding of what the needs were my concerns were addressed consistently. Thank you so very much for putting my mind at ease!
Just wanted you to know that I am very pleased & grateful for the great service the past couple of weeks in getting rid of the yellow jacket problem. Your employee, Jerry, was very efficient & determined to fix the problem. He explained everything he was going to do, and apologized if there was a mess left from the vent in the bathroom! Just glad to get rid of the bees. He also informed me that some of the plants growing on the house didnt help the situation! Besides all of that, he was very polite! I called three times to schedule a service and they had no record of my first two calls. The third time they were not able to get a service person on the phone. When you call, you are not speaking to anyone in the local office but an outside call center that takes down all of your information. I am very disappointed with Ehrlich Pest Control.
We have been paying monthly for our year round services. Funny how they neglected to appear here from last fall until August saying they couldn’t find our house???!!! Still they hit our credit card monthly and have never gotten back to us about some sort of reimbursement for not doing their job (we are still waiting). They showed up last month without calling a day prior as we requested. Horrible. We need to find someone else soon that is reliable.
After 4 no shows I was finally get a tech out here. This will be the last year I contract with them. They no longer can do second story due to OSHA regs I was informed. Bees have a tendency to go behind the shutters and also into the upper soffit regions so basically I am paying for 1/2 treatment.
Ehrlich is a very poor service. Weve tried several times scheduling appointments to have them come out. The girls on the phone (young women) do NOT get the story straight and they do a very poor job of scheduling. Ive had appointments scheduled and theyve canceled without notifying us; rescheduled ... without notifying us. Entries in their computer system are input incorrectly. If there was another service I would go there instead.

2022-07-28Angelo is our service professional and he is just wonderful. He is so courteous, so professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He has helped us tremendously with our new house in the country which has all sorts of bugs and mice around. He takes a lot of care to avoid areas like gardens or children’s toys. He has come out whenever we’ve needed him and he’s been more accommodative than what is expected. He’s a stellar employee with an incredible work ethic. We also had Corey come out one day too and he was also amazing- very professional and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about the service we’ve received.

2022-05-27We initially contracted Ehrlich back in the beginning of March for problems with carpenter ants, box elders, and stinkbugs. When we met one of their representatives at the Buffalo Home Show, he said they offer a free consultation. He came out to our house and then we got a bill for $250! For him to tell us where our bugs were supposedly getting in. Oh, and for putting out rodent traps that we did NOT ask for, which they gave us a hard time about coming to pick up. Going so far as to make fun of the fact that I did not want to kill the mice and voles in my garden who dont come into our house and cause no problems.We called a handyman to come fix the issues identified during our first visit, and we signed up for the monthly program to have Ehrlich spray our house to get rid of pests. We continued having problems and have had them here four times to get rid of the carpenter ants. Every time they schedule weeks out and only once has a technician actually done something more than put down a few glue traps. Meanwhile, our problem keeps getting worse.Today was the last straw though. They gave us a five hour arrival window for the technician to arrive and we had to call twenty minutes before the end of that window to find out where the heck the technician was. He arrived fifteen minutes before 5 PM.

2022-06-17I called them because I saw droppings in my garage. They never showed up at the time they were supposed to. No call no anything. Then they charged my card and I have been waiting for over a month for a refund. This is definitely a scam company and I would not recommend giving your card information.

2022-01-27Not only did they do an amazing job, the tech, I regrettably forgot his name, caught a truck hitting my friends car, took a picture of both the vehicle and the driver and now my friend wont have to fork over potentially a couple thousand dollars to get her jeep fixed. So not only do they hire quality technicians but also ethical ones!

2021-12-04I would have left a higher rating except for what happened today. This year Ive had a few different pest inspectors over for my various issues. I always ask if they could check the two rodent traps along with what they are doing. They always left before I got a chance to ask if there was any activity. Today I had a new inspector and this time of the season bugs arent an issue so he just had to checked the traps. Both were completely empty of poison. I know there wasnt that much activity since the last pest inspector visit so I asked if he could tell me the last time the bait stations were filled. He scanned the barcode in the station and it showed that nobody did anything in months. I cant prove that previous inspectors didnt check but its hard to believe mouse activity is that much higher than previous years AND they didnt do whatever they had to so the app showed they had checked.

We have a service contract with them and in addition to our quarterly inspections and sprays if we ever call with a concern they respond in a timely fashion and have even had someone out to our home the same day we have called. The technician we have is knowledgeable, courteous and very accommodating to our schedule. I would highly recommend Ehrlich Pest Control to anyone!
