Rob has been great!! My car troubles began two weeks ago and I was in desperate need of a rental. I couldn’t get to the location until after the 6pm closing time, he offered to stay until I got there to pick up the vehicle. I needed to extend my rental, that was done without any hassles. My experience has been great!!
I have used this site and team a number of times, will continue to do so, and with good reason. They are professional, helpful, they fit my needs every time, and very accommodating and flexible. They have a friendly staff, they work well together, and Rob does a great job making sure the client is ALWAYS #1. Thank you for the great service. They are the reason I dont even look anywhere else for my car rental needs. Id give 10 stars if I could.Fast forward a short year. Covid hit, staff was let go, and HORRIBLE replacements came in. Manager is average at best; his help is lazy, self-centered, and it is an effort for them to even move. I was ready to leave Entrerprise completely. I reconsidered, but will NEVER go back to the Beacon office
I made a reservation to move to Ohio and planned a significant moment in my life around a one way rental car through Enterprise. I was then told by a customer service associate that the location I had booked through (Beacon) had overbooked and did not, in fact, have a car for me. All locations in the area were also out of inventory and there was nothing that could be done.When I inquired why they had overbooked the customer service associate told me It happens sometimes. They have a lot of things going on.Thus, I can no longer move to Ohio next week. The reason is either ineptitude/inventory mismanagement or a more troubling practice of overbooking inventory to make sure Enterprise earns a buck if people cancel.This was one of the most egregiously terrible experiences I have had with a service provider in any industry and the last time I - or anyone I have the opportunity to share my experience with - will ever consider renting through Enterprise.
Took a $200 deposit and only returned $59 claiming I dropped the car off 5 days later then the actual day I did. When I call they say they will talk to the auto place and call me back and do not do so. This has been in going all week. Now I need to wait till May 1st for their “manager” to return to get MY money back so they say...Do not use this company, no one should have to deal with this back and forth nonsense. They are thieves in my eyes...
I’ve rented from this location on a regular basis for the past 18 months and have had nothing but positive experiences. Rob, Ryan and Karina are extremely attentive to my needs and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They get me into a car quickly and do their best to accommodate me with an upgrade when available. I would highly recommend renting from this location based on the customer service, price and quality of the cars.
I rent a car for 15 days. I left the debit card to hold but not to charge. because I was having an issue with my credit card. When I dropped off the car. 15 days later. I gave them a credit card to charge the rental. Nothing was charged at this time. they used my debit card instead. I dont understand why something so simple was not done incorrectly. I went in and asked for them to correct the the situation. They told me they would and then call me when its all taken care of. This has been more than 3 weeks and nothing has changed. I dont understand why. People be aware when you leave a card just to be held. make sure thats the credit card you want to be charged.
Had to rent a car while my car was being fixed after a rear end accident. The rental was set up before I got there and I was in and out so fast. Everything was ready for me to get into a car and go. I returned the car 10 days later and got the same great service. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to rent a car.
Ive recently rented a car twice in the past 2 months from Enterprise/Beacon for a road trip with my kids. Jason, Winthrop and Jon went out of their way to accommodate my needs to ensure each trip would be as comfortable as possible. They were knowledgeable and friendly, always in an upbeat mood. The pricing was very reasonable with excellent service. This is now my go-to car rental agency. Thanks guys!
My rental experience here was outstanding in that I booked a reservation, they did not have a vehicle for my reservation type but they made no issue for me. They simply upgraded my rental type so that I could be on my way. Moreover, they could not drop me off to my home because of my distance from their location thus I had to bring the vehicle back an hour late and they were quite accommodating, not charging me the extra hour due to circumstance. Only negative was that the fuel was a little low in the vehicle that I received but again, it was a free upgrade! And the customer service there was ABSOLUTELY exceptional. No drama what so ever. Couldnt be happier with the people and service.
Rob, Adamo, and Kelly are (and have always been) an absolute pleasure to work with every month when I rent a car for work. Their team is professional and friendly every time I rent from them. Even the couple of times theyve been short-staffed hasnt affected the service they provide to their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Beacon/Fishkill area looking to rent a car.
The initial visit was not what I read on reviews short staffed and I ran late for my appointment, the car brakes was scaring me making a grating noise, and no gas in the car. Had to bring the car back and the guy gave me a newer model car with a full tank. Great customer service. And service recovery.
I’ve purchased a vehicle as well as my guided my sister into buying 2 vehicles from Enterprise. I rent for weeks and sometimes months at a time. Enterprise is just above exceptional they go beyond to make sure they do what’s needed to keep your experience wonderful. The Beacon, Wappingers in NY have been my 2 go-2’s. Rating it a 2 star for two reasons. One because of their ridiculously high deposit. Second the guy behind the counter who helped me with the rented vehicle.Enterprise is a great rental company and their services is ok but can be better.I rented a vehicle for 1 day. Pick up morning drop off night and I was charged $290 which $39 of it was the actual rental with tax & other fees so that means $250 & change was the deposit they needed which seems ridiculously high and unfair for a rental of o more then $40. That is insane and this needs to be changed.Secondly the guy who helped me with my rental insisted I use their service to fill the gas tank. I said no politely. He kept insisting & went on to say their price is unbeatable & less then current gas station now, their price $2.99 per gal. I again said no, he kept asking “are you sure”This made me feel truly uncomfortable. I said NO.Needless to say when I drove down the street to put gas in the car, the gas price was $2.89 per gal. with CC.Then he went on to say to use their insurance. He became too direct and made this process really uncomfortable. I told him no to everything. He went on to ask about my deductible & if something happens to the glass window I would have to pay my deductible instead of $25 if I chose to use my own insurance and not theirs.I get the process but this was uneccessary. If a customer says no and you went over the regulation etc then why continue to insist? This process was very uneasy and made me feel some type of way. I vacation a lot and rent many cars. I know the process and procedures and this was unacceptable.
The staff at Beacon Enterprise is great.Rob is awesome. Sure do miss Parker. Anyway, the low score is because the weekend special has gone up from 12.99 a day to 21.99! That is a ridiculous increase. Not a great way to maintain loyalty...could have done the increase incrementally. I remember when it 8.99 a day then 12.99. Wow!
I personally dealt with Mike, Rob, and Parker. I have been to other enterprises before and I must admit that this location was the best one in regards to customer service, friendliness, and accommodating all of my needs without a hassle. If you are considering between this location and Wappinger Falls, I would definitely choose Beacon Enterprise. Once you deal with them, it will be obvious why.
The folks at this location are simply the best and I live in Louisiana where we are known for our warmth...Kelly was amazing and her manager (oops can’t remember his name) was amazing as well. They really exemplified great customer service and my team greatly appreciated it...
Stay away! First time renting a car and these crooks are trying to accuse me of damaging their vehicle. During the walk around one of the workers say were looking for golf ball size dents or bigger, ok alls good, I drop the truck off on a wednesday and on that friday they send me an email stating they have contacted my insurance and filed a claim for damages I did to the truck! I call, what damages, oh you wouldnt have noticed it your not in the industry! Straight in insurance FRAUD! The more people I tell what they are trying to do the more people tell me they are known for this when you dont take their extended insurance. Dishonest, unprofessional, illegal I will rent from rent a wreck before I ever consider these liars again!
I was very disappointed this past weekend. The service was great but I dont know how you can rent a real disgusting car. I had to cover the drivers seat with something to cover the huge stain, that sickened me.The front rugs were dirty, the column under the steering wheel was splashed with something. It was totally uncommon for Enterprise to rent such a horrible, dirty car. It was a bright blue FIAT, but gross inside. They said it cleaned but I highly doubt it. They insisted the salt from the road made the carpets dirty! A am thoroughly disgusted and a long time customer.
From out of state, car broke down traveling through. Would not rent me a car because all I had was a debit card(MasterCard logo) with over 2,000$ in bank. This place is a damn joke steer clear, company policy here blows. I tried to get him to do a 2,000$ deposit for car to get home to Maine. They refused stating company policy, the guy at counter was genuinely sorry and apologetic but that doesnt get me home.
Beacon is my home base for upstate rentals and the team there is always so helpful supportive friendly and will do their best to get me the best value. Last time I rented they went above and beyond, Rob, the manager, saw I was sweating it with reaching my train in time, and had Parker, the new rockstar hire, drive me to the train and finish up paper work later, I literally was hopping up the stairs when my train came. If I missed it, I wouldve missed a vital doctors appt that takes months to get, thats what going the extra mile looks like in my book. They embody customer service where people are treated with value, and not as a commodity.I travel for work as well as pleasure, and do my best to use only Enterprise.Thanks Team Beacon.Lois Barth
When I arrived they didnt have any cars. They said that I didnt provide a number to be contacted but one was provided through hot wire. I eventually got a upgraded vehicle but was annoyed that I had to wait forever for something. I just realized that they charged me for insurance which I paid in advance through hot wire and still have to return.
Overcharged for a rental through Priceline. Reserved car was not available, and the Enterprise agent replaced it with another available car (a Pathfinder that was larger and less fuel efficient than my original reservation). No mention was made of an upgrade or extra charges. Then a surprise bill. Dishonest business practice.
Renting from the Enterprise Beacon location is the perfect option for our trips to the Hudson Valley. The staff is friendly and courteous. We are picked up promptly from the Beacon train station upon arrival and returned back to the station when we return. A much better alternative to renting a car from a NYC airport location.
I was recently in Beacon for a family funeral. I booked a Rental Car with Enterprise because they were simply the closest and most convenient. However, Graeme Mceneany and Conor Heraty went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service. I will always use Enterprise when I visit NY. Thank you for the fine service.

2021-11-28I am very impressed with the service I received at this location. This was my first time at Beacon Enterprise. Chris called me the day before my rental, to confirm the type of car and the reservation, which I appreciated. Chris volunteered to do an oil change that day, seeing that the travel will be a long one, and he did - the car was at 100% oil level when I came to pick it up the next day. Kelly greeted me; she was helpful, professional, and friendly, while assisting me with my rental. It was a nice touch to receive a personal e-mail from Kelly a few days later, thanking me for renting with them and inquiring how the rental was going. The car was clean and performed beautifully throughout the long drive. Very impressive. Thank you, Kelly and Chris.

2021-07-10I rented a car from Beacon Enterprise because my personal vehicle was involved in an accident. Very nice staff, they were very accommodating as i explained to them my nervousness about the situation. She made me feel at ease n explained everything to me as she went thru it all. 2019-05-17We had to rent a car in an emergency and the online reservation is so easy. Chris ( so nice) picked us up with no problems in 10 minutes he was here, we drove away with our car and all was better. When we returned the car, we met John and he has the best customer service philosophy. They were awesome and we highly recommend to all. 5 STARS !!! Thank you Aim & Donna

2020-08-13The rental and service were both very positive and efficient as has always been the case with my Enterprise car rentals. The one thing that could have been better this time however was the drop off system when returning the car early. Due to extenuating circumstances - power outage in the area and a need to shorten a vacation - I dropped the car off on a Sunday when the office was closed. Since the car was dropped off before noon (pick up and drop off time) I believe my bill should have reflected that drop off time instead of the following morning when the office opened.
