Recognize the greatness,I love pizza and there is only two joints in town that have good zaa. Ficarellas and Unmentioned. This is a Ficarella review. I have seen the reviews here and I am astonished at what some people have said. Your subs are giant, deals are good and not to mention, best boneless wings in town. so you had a pizza underdone.... what if there was a new worker? Perhaps next time go to the store for you issues instead of the internet. Good job to all that make it possible.
Been ordering from Fics for almost 20 yrs. Have they ever screwed up an order..yes, but overall they are excellent. Best in Batavia!
Ordered the party deal on Sunday and everything was cooked to perfection. Pizza was very tasty and the dough was perfect. Wings were cooked perfect and the amount of sauce was just right...they werent swimming in sauce and they werent dry. Best pizza place in Batavia hands down. I dont think Ive ever had a bad meal here and ive been coming here for over 15 years.
I love the food bit next time make the door hours match your website! We sat outside your business for an hour waiting for you to open at 11am on a Tuesday to find out on your website you changed to 3pm. Were not from area. Thanks!
My partner and I moved here from the Buffalo area earlier this year, and we finally found a pizza and wings place that tastes pretty darn good. We have high standards, so we were nervous, but once I ate my entire pizza in one sitting, those nerves disappeared. The only reason I didnt give 5/5 stars is because I prefer thin crust.

There are a lot of pizza places in upstate New York, and this one has been my and my wifes absolute favorite! Their sauce tastes great, and the crust is just the right amount of crunchy and chewy. Wed eat it every day if we could.
My first time trying Ficarellas pizza and it was amazing!I went with their Monday coupon meal deal. A large pizza with one topping, Buffalo Wings and a two liter bottle of soda.Couldnt beat the value for the price and my hats off to the pizza guys in the back.I would definitely recommend Ficarellas Pizza to everyone, and will be look forward to my next pizza and wings there. 👍👍👍
I ordered a sub from here tonight because they were only place still open. This is my second sub Ive had here and both were horrendous! If you want a sub with 3x the amount of bread than meat and veggies then I guess this is your place. Their sub rolls are literally French bread cut in half. They got it wrong forgot tomatoes and the bacon is paper thin and scarce. Never again Id rather have spaghettios for dinner next time.
Ordered the Party Deal on the website and that went smoothly except for timing the pickup and paying online. I called to specify the time and the associate was courteous and cheerful and quickly made my order right.The order was fresh and ready for pickup at my specified time and even though they were busy I was out in minutes.I ordered thin crust and hot flat wings. The amount of sauce, cheese and toppings was proportional to a thin crust. I thought it was just a tad chewy but my wife raved about it. I am critical of pizza in Batavia in general but I liked this a lot. And it was good cold this afternoon. Sausage n pepperoni, btw.The wings were all flats, the only true form of chicken wing. They were crispy and still moist. And they were hot; not mild nor HOT. What I think of as traditional wings. We really enjoyed them.The celery and blue cheese was packaged separately. Outfits that put those accessories in the box with the wings to warm up or go limp .....And the 2-liter Diet Pepsi was to die for.
All the food here is outstanding and I am always greeted with polite and extremely friendly staff whether ordering by phone or in person. By far best Pizzeria experience in Batavia ny. Would highly recommend!
Everything here is delicious. All fresh meats. Good pasta, great fryer foods. White pizza best in town. Ive had almost everything off the menu. And if anything is ever wrong, they will make it right. I also want to point out to please tip the drivers, I know thats everyones own choice but remeber, it can be pouring rain, snow or very humid and they go out of their way to be quick as possible.
Grew up in the niagara falls and buffalo area eating pizza and wings. In my opinion 7 out of 10 but very consistent and the pizza is very filling and flavorful. Great dough for the style they make. Honestly not even my favorite style if pizza but its super addicting and its growing on me! Great place! The wings are pretty good as well. Not killer but not bad by any means. I WOULDNT THINK TWICE ABOUT ORDERING HERE ON A NIGHT I DIDNT WANNA COOK! AND THEY DO GLUTEN FREE PIZZA AS WELL.

Ordered a capacola sub clearly on the cold sub menu, they delivered a nearly burnt hot sub that my husband couldnt eat as the roll was too hard & crusty! The person who took the order did not ask if it was to be toasted, the worst delivery!!
The food use to be good. Asked for extra cheese on a sheet pizza with extra mushrooms on half and extra pepperoni on the other half. but instead I got a sh!t pizza with normal toppings and bland raw wings when I asked for mild well done. I payed 70$ never again. I payed for 2” of dough and toppings just thrown on top..... so disappointed
Pizza flavor is good, but their dough is always tougher than shoe leather. Otherwise all of the other food is pretty good.
The best pizza in Genesee county. The sauce is not sweet, so much flavor - just like Nanas. The crust is thick and oh so delicious. The subs, the fingers and the fish fry are all amazing. My family and I are loyal customers and they truly care about their people. They get the orders right, its fast and the prices are great! We never order from anywhere else.
Worst g plate I’ve ever had! Called and ordered two identical plates. Cheeseburger, homies, Mac fully loaded. My coworkers was perfect, they even added a scoop of baked beans(not all places do) mine was a bowl of mustard and franks red hot soup. No beans no meat sauce no ketchup. Three out of the other four orders that were with that were wrong too.
We were visiting family and they ordered a pizza for us. I have to say it was so good. It was a thicker dough pizza, no complaints, I will definitely go back.
2021We recently were back in town and ordered the Family Deal. The wings were still fantastic but the pizza just didnt seem the same. Getting a bit expensive too.2018We lived right around the corner from them for over 27 years. We loved their pizza and wings. No visit back to Batavia is complete until weve had a slice at Ficarellas!!
First time ordering from here. Was not disappointed. Delivery was fast and they delivered right to my semi and had no problems with her trying to find me. The apple pie desert egg roll things were awesome with warm Carmel dip. Just had large pepperoni and saw some people complaining in reviews about the size but mine was big. The pieces were cut in squares which I don’t mind but maybe that confuses some people that don’t understand shapes. I don’t come here to Batavia very often except to pick up from a factory few times a year here but now when I do come here I know I’m ordering from here every time. My fiancé loved it as well. To me the price seemed very fair for a quality pizza with plenty of cheese toppings and sauce which I saw people were having issues with that but then again I’m used to paying 15$ for a burger and fries at a truck stop or 18$ for a frozen pizza to be warmed up at a truck stop. So to me the prices are not bad at all from a ma an pa type pizza joint. Much rather support smaller places and get much better quality pizza for a couple dollars more than get the run of the mill mega company pizza corporation pizzas. Almost makes me wish I lived out here so I could eat this more often. I doubt they deliver pizza to Iowa lol.
Poor customer service, messed up order that was clearly written on the receipt. No refund or discount for having to drive back bring them the order they couldnt he t correct and get the correct order. Not worth your time or money spend the extra few dollars and go to main st. Pizza or anywhere for that matter, and get a far better experience/product. And no you didnt try to make up for anything you threw part of a messed up order in a box and thought it to be satisfactory.....the fact that you would reply placing blame on the customer for your mistake exemplifies my case and point....buyer beware. Spend your money somewhere where the business and owner has pride in what they do and even the slightest amount of respect for its customers.....read the reviews alot allot of unhappy unsatisfied customers. spend more time working on your orders and more time working on customer relations as opposed to getting butt hurt over a Google review from an unsatisfactory product you apparently serve many customers.
Ordered a pizza today and couldnt even eat it. Tough as leather and burnt to a crisp!!! Im not a satified customer and will probably call for manager.The wings were good....

I called to order a veal sub, but the person that answered the phone seemed quite clueless on how to take an order. I specifically asked for it to have pizza sauce on it instead of pasta sauce on it as the pasta sauce is horrible. I received my sub, but it had only about 2 tablespoons of sauce on the large sub, very small amount of cheese, and the sauce was wrong. I called back to complain and I was told that I didnt know what I was talking about. They refused to fix my order. I would leave a 0 star review, but the site wouldnt give me that option. Ill order elsewhere from now on.
Normally it is good but I just received a salad and the lettuce smells like sunblock, pesticide, and grass clippings. I found this out after I took a bite. My mouth is burning. I would say I dont think they washed the lettuce but this is like they marinated it in toxic stuff. My dog wouldnt even eat the chicken on top and he eats the sprayed grass in the yard. Went to look on receipt for price of salad, they just billed everything by one total. I am going to call poison control now. I am not kidding. Maybe Fics is what gave me that terrible food poisoning that sent me to the hospital four days ago. I think I will call for a refund. I couldnt eat a bite.

Placed order box said our address for the wrong thing it was pizza rather than the calzone Soni called and I heard the girl on the phone tell this lady said she got a pizza instead of her calzone. So then they said they would remake it fine got the remake and the calzone consisted of pepperoni and mushrooms and Moz cheese no ricota that is why I ordered a.calzone instead of pizza. The last few other times we ordered pizza crust has been burnt on the bottom to the point my husband and I are the toppings and not the crust. Just moved out this way and first time was excellent wonder whats upAntipasto salad is excellent really enjoyed it it was huge
I used to work in a pizzeria that made everything from scratch and this taste like they make it all in house.Their dough is the best and pizza is mostly dough!! I can taste that pre-fab dough that other places use the minute I bite into a slice...yuck. They are the best in town!!! I do agree that their customer service is not the best :( but I would rather have poor customer service and good pizza then good customer service and mediocre pizza.
My family and I were staying at a hotel in Batavia. We wanted pizza. We waited over an hour and a half for pizza and and wings. When I called the lady on the phone was so rude and said what would you like to do we have other orders also. Not a way you run a business.
First time ordering from this place. Im not very happy with this place at all. The pizza had no flavor wings were not very tasty at all. Prices are very high and you wait double the time with alot of the people waiting complaining. 70 dollars for wing and a pizza.
Their pizza is amazing!! I worked in a pizzeria where we made our own dough and it tastes like they make theres as well! Sauce is great too!! Taking a star away because sometime the staff that works the evenings can be rude on the phone
Ficarellas has amazing customer service. Their food is made/delivered in a reasonable time and their prices cant be beat! We have loved everything we have ordered so far from subs to pizza to chicken fingers.

Piss poor service. We work in a factory and decided pizza and wings would be a nice.Delivery person didnt listen to directions, called me and told her where to drop of the delivery and she had a fit. I told her she had to go back to the door I told her to drop off at and she sped off. I called the shop and was informed I called her a fn c--t. Which Im not above swearing but that is not something that I would say to someone delivering our food. My coworkers even heard the conversation. And the manager was rude to me when I called.
This is the second time in a row I ordered chicken wings, and both times I asked for crispy and saucy, they were undercooked and dry. Worst chicken wings ever!!!! I will never order again and would never recommend ficarellas ever!!I went back to get a refund and they declined me my money back!😠😠😠😠
I would personally like to talk to the owner. I order from you all the time. I have never had such bad service in my life. I ordered the chicken finger ranch salad. I asked for no ranch but honey mustard on the side. I got a Cesar salad. I also ordered a tuna sub toasted with lettuce tomato and onion with a little mayo. What i got was tuna sub toasted with lettuce tomato and onion with a lot of mayo with cheese and it tasted like it was drowned in pickle juice. I dont think you serve pickles but i could be wrong. I understand people make mistakes but the entire order. Then our conversation 1st phone call my salad is wrong ok ill remake it. Ok second phone my sub is wrong also. Could i please talk to the manger. The manager is busy can i help you. Yes my entire order is wrong i want a refund not remade. I dont wanna come back on another visit. Well there is no manager on. You will have to call back tomorrow. No i want you to call the manger and get it fixed or please have them call me. I cant do that. Ok so whos the manager on tomorrow. I dont know. Wow so who is in charge is my question along with how do you not know who the manager is where you work. You dont even deserve the one star rating.
My brother and his family came from Georgia and his son has been craving Ficarella´s pizza. So we ordered the pizza and not even in 5 minutes, he ate 5 pieces of pepperoni pizza. We hardly have any left! For sure something to order for the family or even for yourself.
Best white pizza in Batavia! I love their crust as well. Not too doughy, nice crunchiness and consistency. Fics is the only place I will order pizza from in town.I like to customize my white pizza, a cross between traditional white and Greek. So I usually order the Greek, but switch up some toppings to make it more white, as it can get expensive with lots of toppings.
I just had there food for the 1st time. Wings were ordered extra crispy, but they are far from that. The pizza taste well but the dough is like cardboard, I will never go back.
Poor customer service here. I was calling in an order for one of their specials thats on the menu and the guy on the phone made a bug fuss about the order. He wanted me to give him a couple hours or a day in advance for a sheet pizza and wings order. Thats the last time Im ordering from here. Ill go somewhere that wants business instead.
I arrived about 1:30pm. Service was prompt and friendly. My sub was to go but many people were enjoying their lunch in the booths. I took my sub hone and enjoyed t very much.
I used to go here allot about right years ago daily. Now a days the pit stops Ive taken there have become disappointing. The pride in hiring looks like it has been neglected as does the food. The slices I received were cold. The grease that came threw the plate onto the table was so much my plate could slide right along the table.
Normally, they make a great pie, and their food is excellent, i was very disappointed with their described deep dish pan pizza, Its is NOT deep dish and its flavor was poor, not their best work. not sure how normally great food could go so wrong....
I order all the time from here and the last 2 times I got a meatball sub were all ice cold get one tonight the manager said she would personally make my sub to make it right and its not even toasted again for the 3rd time in a row guess I will take my business elsewhere from now on
Let me tell you a sad story. So I ordered the best chicken wang pizza EVER and 5 blue cheese (the pizza comes with three so we paid for two extra). The total came up to $25.49. It took two hours for the pizza to get there and when it did, we gave Pizza Dude a $5.00 tip. Very generous, right? HOWEVER, there was no blue cheese. This wouldnt be a problem if we ordered any other pizza except the chicken wang one. It was SPICY dude.Anyways, we called and complained and they said theyd send someone over right away with our blue cheese. Cool, awesome, great.We waited an hour for the blue cheese. So now our pizza is cold and we are sad and hungry because one does not simply eat chicken wang pizza without blue cheese. So we called again.During this call, we spoke to a manager. He was REALLY RUDE and had an ATTITUDE. Wish I remembered his name.Their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE but their PIZZA IS DELICIOUS. I dont know. My friends and I will probably never order from this place ever again. Needless to say that they will be losing MANY valued and wonderful customers whO JUST WANTED SOME GODDANG BLUE CHEESE AND GOT A HANDFUL OF ATTITUDE IN RETURN.
For food quality, this place is full of good surprises! If they happen to run out of a certain selection, they always have a backup plan that makes up for my original choice! Delivery is usually AHEAD of schedule!!! I think Ive even had the BOSS deliver on a few occasions. Ive found it to be One of Batavias Best kept secrets since I moved here in 92.
The food is good but this lady working the night shift was so rude that I had to give this a 1 Star. There was no need for giving me rude facial expressions, and rude service. Worst experience I’ve ever had at any place. I was honestly shocked and disappointed that someone can show up to work and decide to treat a customer so rudely for no apparent reason.I also did not appreciate my sub being rudely thrown on the counter. Hopefully I can have a better experience next time!
The food is always cold, they can never get your order right. On top of that the owner is rude as well as everyone else there, they dont want to credit or make anything right! The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. DO NOT go there.
Ordered for delivery & the customer service was horrible; the person over the phone had a terrible attitude. Plus they also charge an extra $3.50 on top of the $2.00 delivery charge for College Village. They should just make the fee a flat rate of $3.50. I wont be ordering from here again.
The boneless wings were very dry, the BBQ sauce on them was horrible. The XL pizza was soggy and the crust was like rubber. What a waste of $50 worth of food.

The giant single slices were only about 10 long. The slices of cheese pizza they had were sitting in display case what looked like for a while. It tasted like hockey rink pizza. We ordered two slices because we were pressed for time. They didnt heat the slices and person up front had the worst attitude. Ill never go there again.

A local pizzeria. For all intents and purposes, corporate pizzerias like Dominos have better pizza than any local shop. Unfortunately Dominos has no seats. This has the best seats in a Batavia pizzeria.
Not sure whats been going on but lately the service has been horrible and the food is not hot when received. I was also double charged on my card for an order and had to call. This use to be a great place not sure what happened.
Best wings in Batavia and they Makemy wings the way I want them , trust me I tried them all and the other joints won’t even give me all flats .. I’m paying for them so I should get what i want !

Subs r terrible the bread is so hard u can barely bite into it without a blood transfusion from it scraping ur mouth apart. Thx for takin my 20 bucks so i could give it to my dog..but he wouldnt eat it either...i threw it in the garbage..totally inedible..i will NOT b ordering again

Ficarellas is the best pizza joint in Batavia for Calzones. Service is fast and polite, and Ive never had a bad meal here.

The food is good. The pizza dough isnt my favorite in town but the other offerings more than make up for that.
We had to wait for our food, for 10 to 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. The counter person had to ask 3 times where our order was.

Fics has no business making subs, not just one bad experience with subs, so this means it doesnt matter when you order subs the bread is stale, steak subs lack flavor

2022-02-05I went for lunch as i wanted pizza. They didnt have any pizza by the slice that didnt have pepperoni. So I settled on the chicken fingers. I ordered the large which came with 10 chicken fingers and fries. Way too much to eat for lunch. Wait was about 15 minutes but food came out hot and fresh.

2022-06-07Used to be the best pizza in town. Not sure what happened, maybe the supply chain or inflation. Ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza, hardly any pepperoni at all. Definitely not the way they used to make it.

2021-07-11Absolutely hands down the most genuine restaurant I have ever been to. As out of towners we showed up at 9:55PM, not realizing they close at 10PM. They invited us to dine in with the full open menu, smiles on their faces, the most personable employees. Their food was excellent! Just an overall great atmosphere! 2022-06-07Updated:Walked in for just a slice in the middle of the afternoon; the only person up front sitting (no cars) at the drive up window which sits right next to the front cash register never turned around to look at counter. After waiting for a while I said hello and the person just sighed and walked into the back.. so left without pizza and time wasted. Unfortunately the rating is just based on the service; dont know about the food but wont be back to try it.

2019-10-15Reminisce the way pizza is supposed to taste. Portion sizes for land locked giants and hungry patrons. Staff were very friendly and even referred other restaurants in the area for other cuisine options. I was immediately taken back to memory lane for northeast pizzerias that bring you in from the cold and warm you up with cheesy and freshly baked crust. Pepperonis were real and sausage was super flavorful. I will visit again and bring the wife as she loves Italian cuisine 👍

2022-03-02Been here a lot and the food and service was always great, however, I had a bad experience and the manager was terribly mean when I wanted to exchange an item that was cold, and rancid. Tried to explain that it tasted terrible and like it was spoiled and she said that there was nothing they could do and was very mean about it. Never getting food here again!

2021-09-03After just moving out to Batavia we decided to try Ficarella’s after getting their flier in the mail (and being able to order online). Pizza and wings were piping hot when they arrived at my door. Ordered right in the middle of peak dinner time (5:45p)on a Thursday and it showed up in an hour. Driver was friendly and polite. Fresh dough, good sauce(flavor & amount), good amount of cheese and pepperoni, bottom crust had a little more chew than expected but not bad, could just be the hearth oven or b/c they were busy? Wings were good, mild sauce was tangy and not too much heat. Will definitely order from again!
