Awesome establishment.Under normal circumstances, they have quite a few menu items to choose from if you are hungry, like pulled pork sandwiches and side salads such as macaroni, potato, etc. They also have ice cream, which they are currently serving. There is also a market that sells fresh produce of every kind, meats, cheeses, pickling spices, homemade jams- the list goes on.Its a favorite spot for me to stop while motorcycle riding in that area.
Only stopped by in winter, so cant say much about what changes seasonally. Overall, awesome Farm Market! Tons of delicious Fitzpatrick labeled and packaged candies and sweets. Great baking supply section. Ice cream and other food also available to order. Also good selection of meats and produce. Stop by for any groceries you need.
Fantastic place. They have great food. Theres a big farm market. The prices are very reasonable. They have deli meat and cheese for basically half the price of the big grocery stores. They have ice cream year round. Definitely check this place out if you havent already.
Today we purchased our first dog! To celebrate we met friends at this excellent establishment to grab a burger sit outside and walk him around the parking lot. Staff was friendly and burgers are easily the best in the area. No skimp on bacon burgers, best youll ever have!
Not only do they have wide variety of produce and cold cuts and flowers Etc. They have excellent fries and a wide variety of cooked to order breakfast and lunch options. They have a unique assortment of condiments and candies that you do not see elsewhere. The employees know the place inside and out and you can ask any of them a question and they know the answer. They dont have to go find someone who works in that department!
Always liked this stop when it was Jenkins farm market. Hoped in the sale to Fitzpatricks it wouldnt change. It has..... Now even better! So glad the right folks are carrying on a great place to shop. The food, both take home and eat here are just super. Ice cream continues to be AWESOME! Keep up the good work!
Old fashioned rural roadside side farm markets al/eateries are a dying breed. Loved it when it was Jenkins and Fitzpatrick’s has kept the tradition alive and well. The plants are strong, healthy...The produce is fresh & as local as possible including their cheeses. Great selection spices, baking supplies, preserves. Fresh baked biskits for shortcake are tender, not loaded with sugar. The seasonal fruits like strawberries are sweeter than anything in the grocery. Deli meats were also fresh, something that has been an increasingly concern in small establishments. It’s one of the cleanest markets I’ve been to! The short order restaurant and ice cream make it a great stop and I actually love not being hit with a touristy gift shop. Best of all, a friendly staff is available to help without wandering around looking for them. Well worth the extra miles past the grocery for wholesome food & nice folks.
Bought a 50 lbs bag of potatoes in preparation for some casseroles on Friday evening and drove straight home where our neighbor unloaded the potatoes into the kitchen. 10 minute drive home within a car well heated from a 90 minute round trip ride just before stopping @ FitzPatrick farm market. Sunday evening we could smell something foul coming from the pantry. We slid the bag of potatoes out and the bag was soaked on the bottom with wet spots as high as 10 below the stitched top seem. Had to wait till the were open on Monday morning to call. My wife called and explained that she didnt want to put the potatoes into the new car they wreaked so badly. The lady she spoke to said she had to see them.Monday was even colder with the wind chills and she took them to the store and the lady told her theyd been frozen and my wife explained that was impossible for our short drive. And the lady acted as if Cathy was dishonest and that it was all our fault that the potatoes were frozen. Cathy explained that if that was the case the potatoes should be frozen from the return trip because the car wasnt warmed up and it was even colder than the day we bought them. The lady handed Cathys money back and as Cathy asked if they had any other white potatoes the lady told her they were all out and walked away. Cathy was still shopping for other deals until this happened.1. I dont know how difficult it is to keep produce safe from them temps we endured last week. I imagine it is very costly and requires constant monitoring. I can understand that. What I cant understand is how easily it was for this lady to treat my wife like the greatest potato scam artist in NY. What would it profit us to go out of our way to spend $20.00, store them for around 60 hours to bring them back at our inconvenience to be treated in such a way. There is no gain on our part.We will not be shopping at this establishment unless it is our last resort for an item only they have.In fairness to this lady, she may be going through some kind of tragedy or suffering in some way.Just sharing our honest experience with them. Hopefully it will be taken as an opportunity to train people better. And maybe give the customer the benefit of the doubt
Disappointing really because of the take out food. First problem came when after eating my peach sundae, I got board of waiting around and went to the window and found my order sitting on the counter after not hearing them call my name. The checkout girl did not know if anyone called me or not. The shredded BBQ chicken sandwich was made with all white meat, so it was very dry and to top that it barely had any sauce on it. The brisket BBQ sandwich was okay, but oven cooked, not BBQed or smoked and then refried on the griddle. The worst part was the Buffalo chicken finger salad, which was drenched in hot sauce and blue cheese dressing, so much so, it was a gloppy mess with wilted vegetables. It was unrecognizable as a salad. The only veggie that crunched was the green peppers. Good for fruits and vegetables, bulk goods and soft ice cream. Their hard ice cream is Hersheys and I dont buy Hersheys. I would guess that the burgers and fried food would be the best option for food, and several other customers had bought them while I waited. You cant go wrong with the soft serve ice cream though, as it is Upstate Farms mix, which is one of the best.
Cannot speak about deli other than it seems to be very popular. Very friendly employees that are more than willing to assist you. For example, I went there to buy a 50 pound bag of potatoes found a rotten potato in the bottom of the bag. They took the potatoes and replenished the ones that were bad. They have a good selection of onions at decent prices. They have a multitude of different things there. Neat place to visit just to even have a ice cream.
One of their employees was very unfair in refunding my money for returnedpre-packaged food, and wouldnt believe me when I told them that it did not taste good. However, another one of their employees overheard our conversation and told me a few minutes later that she also thought her co-worker was being very rude, and she herself gave me 1/2 of the total refund plus a discount on other purchased items that day. Today an old man (owner?) and cashier was rather gruff when instructing me to handle their produce a different way when I was purchasing something. Maybe the owners or employees were just having bad days the 2 separate times I was there, just to give them the benefit of the doubt.
First time visit to Jenkins Farm Market and Deli and Ill be back. As the name implies, this business offers farm produce and other locally produced agricultural food items. We picked up strawberries, asparagus, bread, a big head of romaine lettuce and a few other items. Also attached to the business is a deli - home style food, food stand. We decided to have dinner there and werent disappointed. They also offer ice cream. The place appears to do a steady pace of business and appears very popular.
Service was good but the food was not. The fries were burned and the steak sub tasted like a bottle of pepper was spilled on it. Very disappointed. Ive been getting steak dubs there for years. This is the first time that the food really wasnt enjoyable at all and when my husband called he was told they dont use pepper on the subs and it was to bad about the fries.
This farmers market has the country charm and friendly staff that you would expect from someplace like this. Lots of items like fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Locally made items like honey and when in season...Pure Maple Syrup. They also have a lot of baking goods to help decorate many types of goods. If your interested in snacks...they have lots of candy anf healthy snacks for most everyone. Worth the drive to Arkport...just north of the village on 36.
I had the pleasure of working with CJ for our wedding catering needs, and with Shane for our fall decor as well. Any time I had a question or concern CJ was literally only a text or phone call away. Our food was amazing, we had guests coming up to us all night complimenting the food! The pumpkins and mums that Shane had set aside for us were perfect as well, they made our fall wedding beautiful. I have always loved coming to this farm market even as a little girl and Im glad to say we can add them into our wonderful memories now too. Thank you!!

2021-10-31The haunted house was fantastic !! The only bad and dangerous thing was the mud you had to slog through was slippery and at times so deep you actually had a hard time getting your foot out . Almost lost my shoes! But I guess it just added fun to the whole haunted house! Really a great job. All of the characters were spot on! I admire the cast and crew for the amount of time it took to get this all together!!

2020-09-29This was my first time going here and the fruit is amazing. I bought some nectarines and they were so juicy and delicious. I ended up going back two days later and getting all of the ones that were on the shelf. I also bought a beautiful cutting board. I would definitely recommend everyone to go here. The people there were very friendly and helpful. I know I will be going back, when I get back in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
