A great place to get floral arrangements, plants, and beautiful planters for your house! The staff is super friendly, really informative on plant care and seasonal floral arrangements. They even have interesting homeware accessories and fun things to pick up.
Flora is a mini oasis tucked right along Main St. in Beacon NY. The smell of fresh cut flowers overtakes your senses as you enter the store. I love that all the flowers are locally grown too! The staff at Flora are always so helpful and kind. Plan on spending a good chunk of time here since there is such a huge variety of plants. Also the plants are so healthy and pest free through my experience of many visits and purchases. I really like that the shop will repot your new plant right on the spot too. The best part of all, Flora delivers!!
If youre anything like me, nothing brings you more enjoyment than bringing a new plant family member home. And Flora Good Times is a wonderful place to do that! There are varying sizes and varieties of plants, plus a flower bar for bouquets. Theres also lots of pots, and theyll drill a hole in a pot for you, which is great if you just cant be bothered to do it yourself ;) My favorite spot of the store is the propagation swap station. Check it out if you visit Beacon!
Every time I make a trip to Beacon, Flora is always a stop on my list. Cute, cozy shop that is not your typical city florist. Flowers, greenery, succulents decorate from floor to ceiling and it’s absolutely perfect. Flora carries unique plants and flowers, pots, small business home goods. I love everything about the shop down to the music they play.
Flora Good Times is a special place. Stepping through the front door is like being transported to a magical plant world popping with color and crazy forms.The flowers are both beautifully sourced and artfully arranged. Ive purchased over a dozen bouquets at Flora Good Times in the past year and each feels unique. Theyre all delightful in their own dynamic way.The staff is always warm and friendly.If youre visiting Beacon, its a cant miss. If youre a resident, you already know.
My top favorite plant shop!! Every plant I have purchased from this store has been happy, healthy and flourished. If the plant died, it was solemnly my fault. The best thing about this shop is there are ALWAYS new plants to choose from and plants you won’t just find at Lowe’s or Home Depot. So it gives you the chance to challenge your plant family and add new things! I have beautiful ferns from this shop. They have the best little stickers, plant animals, and keychains. I just love it. Beautiful space, wonderful owner. Highly recommend!
Flora Good Times is a gem on Main St in Beacon! The shop is charming & cozy with a diverse range of flowers and plants, but also planters, seeds, local prints and other cool finds. The owner is super friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable! Ask and youll likely leave with all the answers and all the things.Also a plus that FGT will deliver locally and prices are competitive. Wish I lived closer, Id be visiting weekly! By far the best floral shop Ive been to. In between visits, ordering from the website keeps me sane (lots of items can be shipped) :).
I am so lucky to have Flora Good Times as my local plant shop! Corinne and the staff are super knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging. They also have a great selection of plants, flowers, pottery, and now cuttings! And if you dont already, follow them on instagram. They regularly post plant tips and tricks, as well as sneak peeks of what will be in the shop soon.
My go to spot in town when I need plants, flowers, gifts or a serotonin boost. The shop is warm and inviting, and Corinne’s knowledge is endless. I appreciate she is committed to supporting local growers and sustainable practices whenever possible. Flora also regularly contributes to social justice efforts in our community. I am mindful that cheaper doesn’t mean better, and am happy to go out of my way to support this shop!
One of my favorite shops in Beacon! It is a gorgeous space to enter and smells amazing. Their flower arrangements are stunning and make the perfect gift. They also carry beautifully hand crafted pots for planting. It’s a must go to for sure!
I love this magical place so much. Corinne has poured all of her love into everything that is this beautiful universe of greenery! I’ve probably spent thousands here, and I mean that. I’m not even exaggerating. I just love every unique thing she has to offer from plants, handmade pots to gorgeous arrangements and books, this store is easily one of my favorite places to treat myself in beacon. The fact that its so close to me can be dangerous on a nice day and I’m ok with that. It really is always a good time. Everyone is so easy to talk to, and put so much attention and care into their work. I’m so glad to have this happy place in town!!! A must for all visitors.
Ive been in this store a handful of times to pick up wonderful treasures (plants, flowers, incense, home decor, etc) but I felt compelled to write this review from my last experience with Flora Good Times. During the pandemic, it has been difficult to stay connected with family and friends on the other side of the country. After purchasing several wreaths for family members, I can honestly say I am blown away by the unique designs, pricing, and quick delivery. Corinne- thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating so much joy and holiday spirit. Your work is truly positively impacting your customers small corner of the world.
I love everything about Flora Good Times, the variety of unique gifts that you cant find anywhere else are just wonderful! The knowledge, care, and genuine excitement I got form the owner made me excited, and that is why I chose to contact them for this holiday season. I love the rehab section of the store, that made my heart happy. I am not the only one that refuses to give up on a plant life even when the babies look really sad. I can not thank Corinne and Flora Good Times enough for their help and patients. I can not wait to get back to New York to visit this gem again!
I love this Florist. Flora Good Times is the definition of a local business. I ordered an arrangement for my wife for our anniversary. Not only was the arrangement beautiful, but Corinne included a handwritten note with my sentiments. Not only that (and this is where the hometown above and beyond feel comes in), when I wasn’t going to be home in time to pick up the arrangement, Corinne personally delivered it to my wife. And now I will never go to another florist.
Flora Good Times is an absolute treasure! You can find the most beautiful, unique plants and flowers here as well as well-made accessories. The employees are a wealth of knowledge about plants and the experience is just awesome! Definitely visit if you’re in Beacon.
This is hands down one of my favorite shops! I am willing to travel all the way from the city just to visit them and that’s how good they are. I was searching for Hoya Linearis for months and couldn’t find any affordable ones until I visited Flora. I also LOVE the planter collection there!! The owner went out of her way to source beautiful yet affordable pieces and I really appreciate that(if you’ve been to one of those boutique stores then you know how expensive a pretty planter can cost these days). Last but not least they carry beautiful flowers that are locally sourced. This place is everything I can ever dream of! Ok after writing this I think I’m gonna drive up to Beacon again this weekend now...🤣❤️
This is my absolute favorite store. the shop itself is so beautiful and cozy - filled with a million plants and other things i want to buy. i’ve purchased many plants from here and they’re always healthy and happy. corrine, the owner, is super kind, friendly, and full of knowledge about plant care. i highly recommend her workshops or booking a virtual plant consultation with her if you ever have a sad/sick plant at home and want advice. really can’t say enough good things about this place!
Though I have never stepped foot in Flora Good Times, Corinne and her staff were very accommodating when I needed to make changes to my online order. Corrine has shared her knowledge and expertise with me and has gone above and beyond in her customer support. I look forward to the day I can visit her shop that seems to be a plant and flower dream.
One of my favorite shops in the area. This shop has the best ceramics and plants to go with it. Ive gotten many healthy plants here. The home goods section is also amazing. The owner is always positive and very helpful. Couldnt recommend this shop more.
Corinne has done a wonderful job of maintaining the integrity of the previous owner, as well as expanding the products available. The cut flowers are all local and gorgeous, the plants are numerous in choices, and the pots and gift selections are unique and fun. Be prepared to stay for awhile to take it all in.
Beacon is so lucky to have such a beautiful and bright spot to source our plants from. Caroline is so sweet and super knowledgeable about everything in the shop. If youre looking for really unique plant pots, this is the place to go!
My plant adventure (obsession) all started during a global pandemic with the tragic death of my fish Bob. I wanted something to fill the space and decided on a plant. I emailed Corinne and she walked me through the best plant to get, how to take care of it, etc. Well the rest is history. A little more than a year later I have 30+ plants and basically a Flora shrine in my apartment. Thank you to Corinne and to Flora for helping me find solace during this pandemic.
The owner has amazing taste! She has cultivated a wonderful plant and floral shop. I go out of my way to get new plants, tools and other doodads to add to my home jungle at Flora Good Times. 100% worth the visit. Any questions you have, theyll answer for you, and you are guareenteed to have success with any of their plants from their advice!
This is my favorite place in Beacon! Corinne is SO knowledgeable when it comes to plants — shes always happy to answer any questions that I have when I come in. They also deliver within Beacon, which is amazing! The store is so beautiful and gives me instant peace and happiness when I walk in.
Corinne shares her knowledge and passion for everything green in the most awesome setting! I am mostly an outdoor gardener and have been so impressed with her bulbs, seeds and ability to source that special urn! My first three allium lead to another 50 bulbs this year...I can’t wait to see them bloom!
I’ve been a customer of FGT for a couple of years now! A beautiful shop that took great measures for COVID. They are very active on their Instagram as well if you ever have questions! All of my plants and pots I’ve gotten from here remain in great condition and are lovely. A perfect spot for a plant lover and gift cards make great gifts for friends and family! 🪴
This shop is a total gem. Filled with more plant possibilities than you’d ever dream of, I can’t help put pop in any time I pass by. The shop is well curated with plants for beginnings to experts, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and beyond plants, I always find something I love in their selection of pots & other goodies. It’s a Good Time for sure!

They only allow 5 people in the store so my friend opened the door and asked if any of us can go in. I went in, but my friend remained outside. Neither of us closed the door. I’m not from Beacon so I’m not used to these shops with doors you have to close yourself. I spent less than a minute inside when I heard the clerk say (very loudly): “She didn’t close the door? Ughhh.” I was mortified. I apologized and went to close the door but ended up leaving because she was so rude and made me feel uncomfortable.I was looking to buy some plants and planters so she really lost a customer. I will never step foot in that store. What an inhospitable environment. She could have politely asked me to close the door. To talk about me like i wasnt standing directly in front of her was humiliating.

The shop owner is stingy and unwilling to help customers, even simple advice on how to keep items sold at the shop alive is met with the request for double pay of the plant. Besides the terrible customer service the conditions within the store are dismal, Dried crispy plants past the point of revival and agave soaked to the point of being mushy; I would be surprised if the shop owner understood how to take care of a single item within the stores walls. Beyond that the rest of the store is filled with cheap flimsy tchotchkes and kitty crafts straight out of kindergarten, Unworthy of a glance but fawned over by airhead mommies with equal eye for design as a pile of the rotting leaves they admire.It is completely disgusting that a store owner would refuse to speak to a customer at length about some thing they sold to the customer without requesting more money. I never said you demanded but you also refuse to answer past a single question if I didnt pay; So its a less demand and more a disregard and lack of knowledge for the items you sell. Any plant grower would be happy to have any length of conversation to make sure that their crop is alive and well but Im sorry youre only in it for the money. Pay me for the plant and then pay me to tell you how to keep it living; pay for the cake and pay to eat it too.Last time I was at the store was November (And throughout the summer but season isnt an excuse decline in quality and obvious neglect) but if youre observant enough to understand Im from Instagram then you should understand that I can see the sh!t you stock on Instagram. Before you start listing more tchotchkes, improve how you treat ( or actually learn how to lOvE aND aPprECiAte)customers and maybe I will consider returning.I very clearly told you how to change my mind youre just simply incapable of sparing a second to speak to a customer. also, its a sad look when you have your friends and someone who SHARES YOUR LAST NAME rushing to correct your single tarnishing review because youre incapable of taking criticism and image obsessed. I didnt know we were allowed to ask family and friends to type reviews for us but since you think its okay...

My dad passed away today. I am on the west coast and was not being mindful of the time difference. The woman that answered the phone was beyond helpful and even made an exception to get the arrangement out to my mom today and right before closing. I am very grateful. While googling florists I am happy to shop local and support local business during this very stressful Covid 19 season.

Corrine was able to take our vision of bold, bright, and a lot of texture and turn it into something that was even better than we imagined. From the initial conversations to see if Flora Good Times was a good fit for us to the final presentation on the day of our wedding, the care, organization, personalization, and creativity that Corrine and her team brought were top notch. I highly recommend Flora Good Times to anyone planning an event. I wish I lived closer so I could visit the store and attend workshops on a regular basis.

2022-05-30One of the best plant stores I’ve been to! They have so many varieties of plants and unique pots and accessories. You can buy magnetic glasses for your plant leaves (see photo). The staff was very nice and helpful.

2020-12-10I went in for a cute instagram pic and left with new plants, clippings, and a some neat looking pots for them...But for real, its a fantastic little shop with knowledgeable and kind staff. A true highlight on my most recent visit to Beacon. And I dont have a green thumb, so that HAS to mean something.I went earlier this fall and it was amazing to see this little shop literally bursting with colorful flowers and lush plants and greenery. The shop feels very inviting and cozy and I easily spent 30 minutes looking around and admiring things. As mentioned, I dont have green thumb but the staff member working at the time took their time to explain to me how to care for my new clippings and plant friends which was greatly appreciated. They even told me about all the artists that they have featured in the store, which was dope.I cant recommend this shop enough. A must see for anyone visiting the area. Ive already sent a few of my buds and they all agree with me.

2021-04-10Flora Good Times is like walking through a garden. The shop is amazingly cozy and cuteThe energy is so positive. The selection is huge. I usually order my plants online and pick them up in store however I never walk out with my original order. Something always catches my eye. Corrine is so well versed in flower and plant language.Her knowledge is extensive.. Whether you go in the store for 5 minutes or a half hour, she always makes the experience a great one.
