The worst place I’ve ever been. The doctor is strange and hardly provides options to fix problems outside his products. He mentions prices in nearly everything he states... the assistants hardly speak English. They continue to push their products and services and could hardly care about diagnosing accurately. Their systems are always down, and it’s just overall terrible service with rude staff.I would NEVER go here again, and I would not suggest anyone to.Also, do not buy their products!!! It’s a scam. You can buy them for 1/10th of the price online without any sketchy doctor behind it.
I love this place. Granted George Lopez is the reason I come back. He is super cool and honest and keeps trying till he figures out a solution to your issues . I trust him. Went for multiple reasons including laser and it helped. I keep recommending family and friends to only see him. Dont assume anything just by some review. Go check it out yourself.
Calling to make and appointment as emergency and they don’t have any available appointments in the next 2 weeks. They don’t care about the patients needs or health And I explained the situation. Then I called a new doctor as a new patient and they didn’t have anything available for the next 3 weeks but after I explained my situation they squeezed me fr the next day. It’s unbelievable never will go there no more.
I have not broke out since. The face wash and cream is a must have. Like I cant believe the difference in my face I went from bad acne to none. I had my doubts, but I trusted my doctor.
The staff is horrible especially sori the front desk the whole place they have no matters they are very ghetto. they need to take some classes on how to treat others and to be more professional. to top it off the office smells horrible. I will never ever recommend this place ever. they need to clean house there and hire new people
Very friendly staff, George Lopez is a great PA! Been to several dermatology clinic and this is the only one I loved. 👍🏼👍🏼
1. These people do not answer the phones it took me calling them 4 times to finally pick up. 2. They never sent my prescription to my pharmacy. 3. While I was there I waited over 2 in a half hours to get seen for 2 minutes..... smh GET IT TOGETHER
Only qualified Dermatology practice in the area. Doctors and staff were amazing! I’ve been for both medical reasons and cosmetic. Very happy with both!!!
I think its time to change my doctor.i had an appt today I get there 10 mins before the office is full and the receptionist tells me I have to wait outside with 2 babies i will be looking for another clinic.
Doctor ask me if I had insurance I didnt, look at my condition for 1 minutes, literally, walk away nurse came back with a prescription (that didnt work) no explanation no suggestions nothing Nada, I may be doing them a favor by saying this: if you paying out of pocket dont go to this place.
I keep calling to cancel my appointment and I get a busy tone. I left voice message yesterday about cancelling and no response yet.
Did a great job removing my small keloids. Very professional and welcoming.

The people that answer the phones are liars. First they called me to cancel appt saying the dr was in a accident so I requested the summary I was told only if a nurse is there med Asst can’t give it so I called another day to see if the dr is ok and to get my results the story changed he wasn’t in an accident he had a emergency so the girl said Saturday you can come get results hung up without giving a time so I call back a girl says hold on to give me a time she comes back reading my test result I THOUGHT MEDICAL ASSISTANT DON’T READ RESULTS???then she said oh if you still need to see a dr you can come see a different drI HUNG UP WITH ALL THE LIES AND UNLICENSED EMPLOYEES GIVING TEST RESULTS and you can’t get anyone to answer the phones you have to call several times
I had an appointment, everything was fine I liked it a lot at first they told me that they were going to send me the medicine to the pharmacy. 1) they did not send her to my pharmacy that I put in the registry. 2) I called to tell her what happened that they did not put the medicine and they told me that they did put it, but in another pharmacy without telling me. I had to make the call to find out about my medication. I called the pharmacy they put me in and they told me there was no medicine for me. I called a dermatologist again and they put me on hold and shut me down. I called again and they told me that the medicine was in the pharmacy and I told him that the pharmacy said no, because they called the pharmacy and they told me that it is ready that they called but then they told me, let me call for tell you the name of the person at the pharmacy and incredibly they closed my phone. If they are not going to give anything And they are not going to help then tell things as they are and not tell so many lies. Bad service.

2022-06-03Im a VERY long time client...well over 10 years on and off. Recently I had an appointment scheduled but when I arrived the office was closed. No missed calls from the office, no voice-mail, no text...nothing to warn me not waste my time or money.I later called to find out if they had automatically rescheduled me for the following Saturday... but...no. They didnt have the courtesy to schedule me like they should have. In fact I was told that I could get an appointment 3 weeks later!! THREE WEEKS!!The first girl hung up on me accidentally which was definitely NOT an accident. Then I was handed over to the office manager PAOLA who was not flexible or helpful AT ALL.I feel when Dr Savitz was more hands on in the office, the service was way better. These new staff are incredibly rude, dismissive, provide poor customer service and dont have the capability of providing a great experience.

2019-06-11I have been coming here for years. They recently changed staff and the experience was not what I expected. The new young Hispanic female receptionist is very short with patients. If you want to keep your clientele make sure people feel welcomed. The older staff must’ve moved on but they were much more pleasant. She made me consider choosing a new dermatologist after all these years. Today will be my last visit.

2019-06-08I’ve been coming to this place for nearly 2 years and all of the 1 star reviews here are true. The staff and providers are lazy, unfriendly, uncooperative and unprofessional. Let’s begin with the wait time. Whatever time your appointment is scheduled for add 2 hours because you will NEVER be seen at your actual appointment time. They’re always “short staffed” and work extremely slow. Expect to always have to call to chase down your prescriptions because Fordham dermatology never send their prescriptions promptly. And if there’s a pre-authorization needed or tour insurance doesn’t cover that prescription, you can forget about that prescription because Fordham dermatology will not try to get you a similar medication covered by your insurance or do any extra necessary work needed for a pre authorization, exactly what I mean by lazy! Lastly, I had an appointment for this Saturday and 12:15pm scheduled by SOLOMON and when I arrive to my CLOSED Fordham dermatology all of the lights are off and the gentleman at the front desk says the last appointment was at 10 and all the staff and providers have left for the day and there was no record of my appointment. Completely inconvenienced my day, This place and everyone that works there is a JOKE! They’ve lost another patient.

2019-07-08I went here to get some laser hair removal procedures done on me. Overall, the center was clean which should be as it’s a small place, also Dr. Lopez is very honest and made me feel right at home which is very much appreciated. I liked my experiences there, but there was one experience that left a PERMANENT mark on me literally. I went there one day to have the procedure done, and I remember that it wasn’t Dr. Lopez who was going to be doing it because he was busy with another patient. I was a little nervous that it wasn’t going to be him, but I was still optimistic. Unfortunately, the Medical Assistant who was assigned to me which was a young, light skin, short Hispanic woman seemed to not know what she was doing. She left the laser on one spot for too long that it caused a blister on my cheek. She gave me a cream and said it will go away but it actually left a scar on my face. The next time I go to Fordham Dermatology to have anything done on me I will only let Dr. Lopez attend me as he clearly has more experience than those fresh out of college assistants.

2019-10-30Unless you have all day to spare and are comfortable with mediocrity pass on this place. Ive gone several times and each time have spent more that 45 past my appointment time waiting to be seen. The staff socializes more than attends to patients and the woman at the front desk is clueless on most days. The dr gave me medication and I have a reaction that resultes in swelling in my face and called to talk to him about it and he NEVER called me back. This place is not worth it.

2016-11-04For a practice based in the Bronx, I was expecting it to be over crowded, noisy and not too clean, but I was pleasantly surprised. Had to wait a little over 30 minutes but the Dr was very apologetic about it and I found the staff to be polite too. I will definitely give them a call if you are looking for great dermatologists that will go above and beyond to find you the right treatment.

2014-09-16I read alot of bad reviews, but I checked out this place w/ my dad, and it was quite pleasant. The service was really fast. In essence I only had to wait about 10 minutes, and I received a quick diagnosis. The only thing I dont like are the co-pays, and the price of the medication. However, that is my insurances fault not theirs. Overall I really like this place. :D

2019-10-30•Nice environment, clean place and great customer service, however here in NYC or the United States in general, when you go to a clinic and you have good health insurance they want you to go back like 2000.000 times again instead of solving the issue in just a few visits.•My situation isnt something big or difficult (just a small keloid that is growing back 2 years after being removed) (every doctor in NYC want to see me every two weeks or monthly to treat the small keloid with injections: HOWEVER THE KELOID IS ALWAYS THE SAME!!!!! NOT FLAT, NOT BETTER, so I wonder why type of substance are these doctors using on my skin? Water???????????•I loved the experience at this place but Ill back with my old dermatologist near my house, she was doing the same exact thing with the mysterious injection and I was honestly expecting this place to be more efficient no just Insurance-$$-Tricky-Money-Hungry-$$-Tricky-Money-Hungry-$$

2016-04-01I did a Google search for Dermatologists near me and called a few. I spoke with Solomon when I contacted Fordham Dermatology. He was professional, patient and accommodating. He was able to get me an appointment for the same day. The check in process was quick and pleasant. The atmosphere was clean and modern. My son was seen by George Lopez. He was personable and made sure to explain everything in terms that my son would be able to understand. I was more than pleased with my visit. I highly recommend this establishment!
