I bought a house with a pool installed by Galati Pools probably around 20 years ago. In the 12 years I’ve owned the house, they’ve been a great resource for maintaining the pool. For a short time (before Galati’s offered regular cleaning service during the season) I hired another pool service company to clean the pool, and ended up with green, murky water. After I fired that company and went to Galati’s for help, they set me up with an easy DIY maintenance program that has kept the pool crystal clear ever since. They’ve done repairs quickly when needed, including big jobs like liner replacement. They always show up as promised for appointments to open and close the pool. Their instructions for what needs to be done are always super-clear and easy to follow. And since they recently started offering regular cleaning service during the year, I had them take care of vacuuming last season and they were as reliable about that as about everything else. They truly are a pleasure to deal with.
I have been using Galati since 2001 and can not say enough about them. They are professional and responsive. Their service and ability to help me manage my pool water has already proven effective.I highly encourage you to use them.
Galati pools and spas is THE best pool store around. The staff is hardworking, knowledgeable, and friendly. i am very pleased to see the at the business is still family owned and operated.
Only pool place that answers phones, calls you back, gives prompt and pleasant service, and doesnt smell like a toxic chemical explosion if you go into the store. Love these guys. They do the right thing.

Helped me with a new hot tub and free water testing, what more could i have asked for... nothing it was great and everyone there was friendly and helpful.

2021-05-21I got my pool from Galati’s over 20 years ago. The staff has remained consistent, and they are extremely knowledgeable.I recently had trouble with my pool filter, and J.D helped us get it up and running by the advice he gave me in the store and on the phone.The young members of the staff at the desk were very polite and helpful, particularly Greg and Ashley.Thanks to all!

2021-05-28I dont typically give recommendations for specific businesses but when I do its for good reason. Longevity is a hallmark of quality service and Galati pools and spas has been around the area for probably longer than any other in the Newburgh area. For approximately 50 years they have satisfied customers with quality and professional services to so many. Do yourself a favor and go to the best because you deserve the best.

2020-08-26I been there a few times already since opening my pool 2 weeks ago. The people working there are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I never feel like they are trying to sell me anything that I dont need. I was going to another pool store closer to my home that I feel they were selling me chemicals I didnt need and were also keeping the levels low so I would have ro purchase more and more products there. Wasted so much money and time. My pool hasnt turned green once this summer like it has in the past because of the other pool store I was going to. I really appreciate the service at Galati pools and the products they sell. Will always be a customer there.

2019-11-11We are so pleased with the service from Galati, and JD has been great. We live in Woodstock and wanted to buy from a place that wouldn’t ignore us after the sale. It’s such a pleasure knowing I can reach out, anytime, and they always answer our questions and are professional and knowledgeable too. 2015-02-04Galati Pools has supported our hot tub for over 12 years. We bought our Tiger River Bengal tub from Galati pools in 2002 and they have kept our hot tub running perfectly every since. There was one time when they had to replace the heater relay and they did it promptly and professionally. They are always there to answer questions and give great advice. Highly recommend Galati pools for any hot tub or pool needs. A lot of our friends also use Galati and everyone likes them.

2018-02-16I purchased a Kauai Jacuzzi from Galati Pools and its beautiful – I absolutely love it. The jets are strong (2 horsepower for a 3 person jacuzzi) and even include shoulder jets. I am very happy with the price that J.D. gave me. The price that Galatis offered me for the Kauai, was much lower than the price offered by any other stores for the same jacuzzi. This company company was a pleasure to work with; they came when they said they would, clearly explained everything and were professional at all times. The installer, Keith, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If you are considering buying a jacuzzi, trust me – this is the best place to buy one from!

2016-12-30I needed a service call for my Hot Spring jacuzzi that I bought from Galati Pools and Spa back in 2001. t was snowing and asked for a service call. He said sure I will be there in 20 minutes. I thought my heater had failed. The technician arrived and after troubleshooting the electrical circuit discovered it was a blown relay on a power board which was much less costly than a 6kw heater. Great job. Wife is happy to have her jacuzzi back.
