OMG Michelle is the best hair color master ever! She’s been coloring my hair for years and I will follow her anywhere because she is simply THE BEST! Every time I get my hair done I feel like a million bucks. And I love when people around town tell me how much they love my hair color and ask me where I got it done. Jamillah has done my hair and I was so happy with how she understood what I wanted and made sure she was doing it right during the whole process. She also gave me some recommendations of products for my hair that I ended up getting at the salon. She also gave me some samples I could use and that was a perfect compliment to the service. Not just that but she invited my afterwords to events they had at the salon. I heard about many friends having good experiences at Gemini and that’s how I ended up going and trusting that any hairdresser would do a good job. Great place and experience.
I love it here! I can’t recommend them enough. Everyone that works here is so informative and friendly. Everyone from the receptionist to the shampoo person is always smiling. It’s such a great place. I have been coming here since they have opened and it’s always been an amazing experience. I see Kristina and she is absolutely phenomenal. I have naturally dark and thick hair and she works wonders with it and all of my crazy ideas. I love the fact that everyone is highly educated in this profession and that they all stay on top of that by taking classes to stay on top of their skills. From mens cuts, haircuts, highlights to crazy colors, braids and extensions and more they do it all here. I always leave here extremely happy and you will too.
Finally found my salon! Jamillah is truly the best stylist I’ve been to! My hair is perfect every time! I followed her to Gemini and I’m so glad I did. Nicest people and really a very talented group of stylists (I’ve been to a few there). Highly recommend!

Loved my first visit at this salon. Everyone is super friendly and professional. Michelle has been doing myColor for years, her number one priority is the integrity of your hair. I’ve had some unrealistic hair goals and she provided me a great consultation to go in a direction that I Was happy with and always leave feeling beautiful. She is a master at her craft . Victoria was absolutely amazing!! I’m always very afraid to let anyone cut my hair but she was amazing! So communicative during my cut and knew exactly what fit me and my hair type! She was amazing I will 100% be coming back I loved her and her work!
I have been a customer for a long time with Michellle as my hair colorist. I am amazed each time on how professional she is,the amazing knowledge she has with color, the depth of knowledge on how to make you look from ok to WOW look at my hair now ! I get more compliments on my hair color. I always look so natural and my hair always feels alive not dried out and damaged. If I ever had to recommend anyone that needs a pick me up or I need my hair fixed from a disaster it’s Michelle . Courtney hickey is a master colorist! Wouldn’t trust anybody else with my hair. I have had dark hair for years and was nervous when she suggested I lightened up my face. I trusted her, so she put in a few peekaboo caramel highlights, to make sure I liked it. I am in love with my new hair and cannot wait to come back for more!! Over all Gemini salon is exceptional. All of the workers are pleasant and professional and the salon is immaculate! I absolutely love Gemini salon!

I couldnt be more happy with the color service I get from Courtney. I have been with her for 4 years and she just seems to get better and better. Today was my first time at Gemini Salon and Garden and I got a balayage done with CarolAnn. I usually dont leave reviews but after my amazing service today I felt I had to let the world know how incredible she and this salon is. I drove over 40 minutes to see CarolAnn and it was well worth the drive! She was so honest with me, took her time to explain everything she was doing and I ended up learning so much from her today. She is truly amazing and I love the vibe of the salon!
I started going to this salon after coming across a referral. I was searching for a salon that not only provided top notch services, but had palpable respect for clients (which isnt easy to find). The owner is always working on-site and makes personal calls himself to clients. I use Victoria and Jenna whove given me nothing but personalized attention since I started going. Now I bring my kids to them as well.

This was my first time going to this salon, I just moved to the area and didnt want to drive back out to nassau to get my haircut. I absolutely loved the experience that I had here! I got a haircut from Carol Ann and she was amazing and so sweet! I have hair down to my butt (which is a pretty big job to cut) and I wanted to keep my length. She cut off the perfect amount to make it healthy yet still maintain my length. Probably the best haircut Ive had in a really really long time. I def recommend coming here and this will be the only salon I will go to from now on!
I began visiting Victoria bc my hair was flat and dead.. After one visit, it was decided she is my forever hairstylist. She knows how to add volume while also perfectly sculpting, leaving you with a ton of shape + texture! Shes truly talented!Also, the HairStory products sold at Gemini are a must have!!😍

Wow! How do I even start!! The first time I’ve been to a salon and don’t automatically feel uncomfortable, since I never know what I want. I booked an appointment with CarolAnn. Right when I walked in the doors I was greeted with smiles from everyone. Carolann came up to me, I showed her some examples of what I wanted done to my hair. She said it was called a balayage. Once completed I could not believe my eyes!! I went from boxed dark hair to beautiful silky looking hair. I attached pictures to my review. I am so amazed by CarolAnn will definitely be back to go lighter for the summer.

I never write these reviews, but the kindness of these stylists has truly touched my heart. I called for a last minute appointment for a full highlight and a blowout, and they were able to squeeze me in. I was a little nervous to tell my stylist, Jenna, that I have been battling a lot of medical issues that would make it harder for her to do my hair. She was sweet, more than willing to accommodate me, and even told her assistant, Emily, and the stylist who blew out my hair, Francesca, about my condition. They were incredibly kind, gentle, and made something that I dread doing (but SO needed for a pick-me-up) an experience that really meant a lot to me. Thank you, ladies, for being WONDERFUL.

I went to Gemini for the first time because I was not satisfied with my previous salon. My hair was looking terrible and I did not know what to do with it. Thin hair and oily. I made an appointment with Serena and that was the best thing Ive ever done. After coloring and cutting my hair she actually took the time to show me how I should style it myself every morning. Now it only takes 15 minutes in the morning and it looks great.

They truly are so grateful for their success, they work as a family and they really appreciate you being there. When you leave there you feel like a new beautiful soul as their positive energy leaves with you as well. I call it getting Jonnified because Johnny Kelly along with his team are amazing professionals that continuously enhance their skills with constant education of all the latest in products and services. I love this salon, as well as my hair stylist Lace! Every time I come in I feel she truly impresses me by making my hair look even better than what I had originally pictured. She has a gift for coloring hair and my hair cuts always come out beautifully! I never leave Gemini Salon without feeling flawless.
I went to this salon recently and I was very dissatisfied. I got my hair colored and the stylist did not put far enough foils in and I left with my hair looking exactly the same after paying for a full service. I asked for a balayage and she just put in a few highlights which looked very streaky. The back of my head had a huge spot that was suppose to have color and it looked like someone did it blindly. I called them explaining that I wanted more color and foils and they rescheduled me to come back in a week later. When I explained what I wanted she said well I dont have time to do that and Ill just do this instead. I felt that I did not get what I paid for, especially because it was a pricey salon. She simply added in a few more foils just to say she did more to my hair when I was charged for a full head of service. After coloring it she told me she did not have time to blow out my hair and so I left the salon with a wet head. You would think that after the first time she would have put more work and effort into my appointment, but no. This salon has no customer service or does not care about their customers satisfaction. I should have been treated way better, considering the first time I went I did not get what I wanted. I felt they were so unprofessional in so many ways and I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I also never write reviews but this salon made me so frustrated and disappointed that I had to post something.
This Salon is fabulous. Excellent customer service took their time to evaluate my hair and what should be done with it from the way it should be cut, products i should use, to what color would look best on me. Very knowledgeable and made my curls very happy. They listened to what have done in the past with my hair and what products I use. Great experience all the way around. Had a lot fun too!!

This salon is the best! The creativity on the color side is fantastic! They can do it all. From wild to sophisticated. I went to Johnny who fixed previous color from another stylist. Lighten my too dark hair, put some delicate highlights in. I was so thrilled I didn’t have to grow out the old style chunky white highlights. Yay! This is my new salon forever!

I had my hair colored . The first time I was so happy when I left. He had oxidize in four weeks. I went back and asked her to do the same color with more little light in it. She added a very dark color and ash. She did give me a good cut I did like my haircut. She was very sweet. I called up told her I wasn’t happy with the color she told me to come in she added a couple pieces of blonde to it a glaze . They charged me I’m still not happy. $500 later in one month I cannot believe it I am so unhappy and miserable.
Extremely disappointed with the hair coloring service that I received. I thought the color after all was said and done was horrific for my color skin. I guess the colorist really doesnt know her work or else she would have steered me in another direction. Not a fan at all and will definitely not be returning nor recommending them to others. Sorry

I walked into Gemini Salon and Garden with a complete mess on my head. I tried to use box color and turned my hair completely orange. I looked like carrot head honestly. Sirena was able to not just fix my mistakes but completely transform me into a gorgeous mushroom blonde. She is a goddess and I highly recommend her to ANYONE.

2022-02-24Where do I begin?!!! I searched for the person who can perfect my beautiful red hair color and guess what? She did it!! I have never been happier with my hair color, then when Michelle started coloring my hair! She is truly so talented and gifted at what she does. Like an artist/chemist! Her compassion and love for what she does just makes her even more talented. The way she transforms a persons hair is amazing. I will never let anyone touch my hair but Michelle! 2022-02-01Michelle is a highly experienced and trained Hair Color and Extension Specialist. I have been her client for 15+ years and shes the best of the best. Meticulous, thorough, and honest. If you want something that just doesnt work with your hair, she will be forthcoming, provide alternatives, or build a path to get you there. Shes also built plans for the drastic color changes Ive wanted over the years and corrective coloring for my daughters experiment with Sun In. On top of it all, she is a warm, engaging, and forms deep relationships with her clients and genuinely cares for them. I give Michelle my highest recommendation and wouldnt use anyone else!

2022-02-10I hadn’t been to a salon in almost 10 years due to having inexperienced stylists ruin my hair and making me feel uncomfortable.I finally decided to get my hair professionally done again and found Courtney, master colorist! She does such an amazing job and has taught me how to take better care of my hair!I love giving her creative freedoms with my hair and I can’t wait until my next appointment!

2022-01-31Michelle has been doing my color for years. She listens to what you want and explains what she thinks is best and why. She also makes sure you understand each other completely before she does anything. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always educating herself to keep up with the latest trends and products. I wouldn’t let anyone else do my color. My two teenage daughters now have their color done by Michelle. Michelle never disappoints!
