Stopped at Genesis of Amherst on 9/18 to discuss a tire warranty issue. The tread on my tires appeared to show excessive wear and I wanted to know if their was some sort of tire wear warranty Genesis had. The information I had stated to refer to the tire warranty section which I did not seem to have. Regardless, stopped in and spoke to a gentleman asking about the tire warranty. He went to check with someone and after a few minutes, came back and stated that genesis did not have a warranty program. I explained to him that I was disappointed in hearing that as I have less than 18,000 miles on the care, I dont think having to purchase new tires each year was acceptable. The service man had nothing to say so I asked to speak to the service manager. Once again, the gentleman goes back to the offices and returns and says that the service manager suggests I call customer care. Now, number one, when a customer asks for a manager, wouldnt one think that the manager should come out to speak to that customer instead of sending the same guy out who has no information??? Number Two, the service guy tells me that I need to contact customer care to determine if Genesis would be willing to assist me. I asked the service guy at least 3 times if we could call together and he stated that it could be a lengthy process and that I needed to call. I asked if WE could call because I would have purchased the tires through the dealership. This guy just didnt want to put in the effort to help a customer. TERRIBLE customer service. Left very frustrated. While I love the car, if this is the kind of customer service I am going to receive fr5om the ONLY Genesis dealer in Buffalo, I may need to reconsider my next car purchase. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!
Just got a lease for 2020 sonata sel plus model. PAUL is the salesman that you have to go see. Hes the person who helps you out and tries to understand what kind of vehicle you want. So happy that I met him and he is willing to help out. Best customer service that I got from Northtown Hyundai!

2022-03-19Concierge service is a joke. Took 3 months to get an appointment. I bought a 2020 g70 sport with dark chrome trim. The window trim was getting very blotchy and after researching online I found that this was a common problem with the model. I brought this up for my appointment. I also had an oil change and inspection. The only call I got was to pay for the $21 inspection fee over the phone and no one talked to me about the window trim problem. They brought my car back this morning and the window trim is now bright silver. They polished all of the dark coating off the trim. I spoke to Jason and the service manager who both refused to correct the issue stating that is what Genesis told them to do for the work order. I ultimately had to contact Genesis customer care to file a formal complaint. Genesis acknowledged the error and wrote it up as a vehicle damage complaint and they are replacing the window trim. This is supposed to be a luxury dealer, they returned my car dirtier than when they took it and brought it back on empty. I will buy Genesis again but not from Northtown.

2022-05-02Be an informed buyer. The guys here have always given me a fair deal and treated me with the upmost respect. Ive purchased 6 vehicles from them. If they sold 18 wheelers id be driving one of those. Thanks again.

2021-07-17Buyer beware!!! I went on Genesis of Amherst website, used their trade value tool to get a value for my trade, entered VIN # and mileage had a fair offer. Once I drive 2 hours to get there, at seems they dont go by that figure, nor do they want to offer anything close!!! They have plenty of excuses, but cant seem make a deal unless you are willing to let them make $10k on your trade and still charge full MSRP!! Crazy. Drive elsewhere, there are dealers willing to deal, just not these guys!UPDATE : A week later they send the message below, they have my information, I used my real name, its pretty easy.

2021-10-22If I could give no stars I would. Like the other gentleman said, I bought a 2020 g70, and the salesman and sales manager couldn’t stop touting the concierge service. When I called for an oil change though, I’m told they are booking 9 weeks out. Completely useless, and all the sales manager Vlad and the service manager EJ Gonser do is point the finger at each other. I wish I had gone one block over and bought the Lexus.

2021-12-16Alex the sales manager was very helpful with the purcase of my fourth Genesis. I really like the Genesis product and havent been disappointed with my new G80. I would have given 5 stars but im waiting for a dedicated dealership like other luxury brands.

2021-04-24I bought a 2021 Genesis G80 3 months ago and was sold on the concierge service for appointments. I live an hour away from Buffalo. Tried to make an appointment for my first 6,000 mile service and am now told that service is only once a week and next available is a month from now. That’s absolute BS. And the guy on the phone who booked the appointment was rather matter of fact about the whole thing. Not the service I expected. Not even close.

2021-06-30The Genesis is a great car but this dealership has not been close to meeting expectations. My car is back at the dealer for the third time for the same problem. They need a dedicated Genesis dealer in Buffalo NY.
