Its a smaller goodwill but a nice selection of items. I believe there is also a senior discount on Tuesdays for anyone over the age of 55
Friendly staff. Refreshing it wasnt always like that.
Manager still likes to bad mouth customers and mock them. She was also bragging about how employees get first dibs on name brand items. Can’t shop at goodwill anymore.
The store should have alot more 2 offer and parking lot should get fixed the handicap parking isnt clear enough the selection of home goods is very poor. And cmothi g isnt sorted right. The store in n.bflo and incheektowaga are much better of a selection.
Ive always enjoyed shopping at the Goodwill, but to be honest, some of their merchandise is priced to high for things that were just donated to them, their getting to greedy to me, just my opinion.🤷
The store was well stocked. I was there near closing time and the sales staff was courteous and patient. As a result I spent 30 dollars and I plan to go back soon.
Tried to drop off stuff. Was told in a very rude way to go around the back of the building and ring the bell. Rang bell waited and nothing. Went back to the front to find someone who might help and a different person was very helpful. We found out that on the day we were there that the back was closed up. They helped us make the donation anyway.
Nice staff. Used furniture prices way too high. Why dont they store the summer clothes?

For a thrift store these prices are crazy lots of dollar store items for 3.49! Absolutely crazy will never come back !
The location on William St. in Buffalo is very clean, organized and bright. Some things are a bit high priced, so you just have to know what youre looking for.

Wonderfully run organization for the developmentally disabled. We really enjoyed visiting and learning at the annual Christmas party.

Went there for the forklift certification. Everyone was GREAT! It was 2 hrs each day for 2 days and it was fun.

The prices are very high for donations and for people in my class that we expect to find better deals. I do not know the other stores but in that the staff work well disorganized and not very well deal. The only Q day you can buy is Saturday Q the color of the week is only $ 1.
I love going to this store. The items are in excellent condition.

2022-03-23I left a 5 star review here about 9 months ago. I go into this store about once a week. A few weeks ago I saw a security guard and today. Perhaps something happened where a security guard is needed...Yet, today there was this woman with red hair (maybe a manger or supervisor)acting very strange. She gave off this weird vibe like she was watching me as if I was going to steal something. Goodwill, this not a good look, I dont think Ill be back there again!

2021-12-31I treasure the William Street Goodwill.....the mother ship of the WNY Goodwill fleet of stores.I find the William Street store to be spotlessly clean and well organized with a varied selection of new and vintage items. I always find very unusual ( and frequently high-end) items that are always in perfect condition and working order. The staff is helpful and always friendly and the prices are always fair.This is probanly the smallest of the WNY Goodwill stores, but it strikes me as being a truely special jewel, being in perfect order and with consistent quality merchandise. I compliment the stores management in their ability to maintain high standards of merchandise and an excellent staff.

2021-12-02The WNY goodwills are poorly run compared to Rochester. They’ve discontinued dollar day and mark up to almost retail on damaged goods. Stores are dirty and items are damaged and pricey. Feedback is dismissed and not taken seriously. Rather than commenting generically on reviews, implement change and show people you care

2020-09-20I got to shop here once right before the pandemic hit, and I loved it! Lots of selection for reasonable pricing. Its clean, staff are friendly. I cant wait until Im able to shop here again.👍

2019-10-20Love this Goodwill!!!! I have been coming for a long time now and I owe it all to my mother... She discovered thrifting a lot later in life but this was early on for me so I will always go to a thrift store to save a few bucks if need be. They have your normal color days so an even better discount on things. Overall, its usually clean, the staff are pretty friendly and theres enough room to walk around and see what is it. My favorite items to look for are cookware, electronics, records, furniture and normal household items like candles or something for the holiday/season. Thumbs up!!!

2021-01-27Goodwill Store on William St. Across from the main Post Office .I stop there because I frequently pass in front of it. You can find brand new stuff here if you look. Picked up brand new onesies 12 month 18 mos and 24 mos pack of 6 or7 for $5.49. Only 12 mos are onesies. Like everywhere since Covid prices have increased substantially. Like a pair of skechers (sneakers) $35.00 . Going to pay that much go and get new ones. They have colors of day that give you 50 percent off like porcelain dolls in box I picked up for wifes Birthday 5.49 each paid 2.75 each.. Seen new Xx large shirts for 5.99 but passed .You can tell the shirts are new even though theyre missing new tags. And yes that is not all the wife is getting for her Birthday. Flowers from Aldis is a good buy. New flowers arrive Thursdays. Thanks
