The Hamburg library is an amazing asset to this community. The facilities are well maintained and modern. The selection of books is great. There are plently of well lit spaces for getting your work done and the staff is extremely professional!
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location right in the Village with a nice outdoor space for releaxing and reading.
I cannot believe there is only one review of this place. It is a godsend and an unbelievable asset to this community. The staff is helpful and friendly, the family programs are fantastic, whatever title you need, if its not in the Hamburg library you order it and its there for you in a few days. The library is a great place, whatever your needs, and its just plain easy to use.

The only thing was there were kids screaming and playing with toys. I was annoyed and I think the workers should have told them to quiet down. I went there today.

2021-08-13This library was renovated in 2014. There is ample sitting and tables inside (the building also has AC). There is even a little area outside. The library has a broad amount of books to look through and read. The staff there are nice. The parking is in the back.

2022-02-13Very friendly staff. Love the large assortment of books to choose from. Many people were using the computers. Kids were having fun. Large assortment of DVD to choose from as well. It was busy on Saturdays. Love going to this library.

2021-03-14Wow! I haven’t been here in ages. I used to come when I was a kid and then I moved out of the area for many years. I stopped in to see if a book I wanted to read was available and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t realize there was a huge addition put onto the back of the building. Also the entrance is on union street and not at the front of the building anymore.The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer questions and help me find what I was looking for. This is a good sized library with all kinds of resources and programs for all members of the community. There were a lot of movies and music you could rent out as well as books. And I learned that you can return your books to any Erie County Library.The space feels fun and inviting. There was a huge tree made of books, decorations for St. Patrick’s day and cute book characters in the children’s area. When I was there it was quiet and would have been a great spot to get work done or read.Staff are all wearing masks and guests must do the same. It was very clean and the environment felt safe to be in.

2019-10-11Super cute library with an even cuter Café. They have a nice area with tables if youre going there to do schoolwork. Only downfall is Im pretty sure this is the loudest library Ive ever been in. Hard to concentrate on your work with kids yelling, workers conversing loudly, and patrons having loud conversations as if were in Tim Hortons. Ill be finding a new place to do my work from now on.

2020-02-15Super cute library that always has an event happening. For Valentines Day they did blind date with a book and it was the cutest thing. I ended up getting a book I really liked! The staff is always so friendly and the book selection is healthy. The cafe inside is delicious and has so many options for a library cafe. I love coming here!

2018-11-06This library is large, clean and really well laid out. Has tons of amenities - computers, a gas fireplace(!) with cute sitting areas. The children’s area is EXCEPTIONAL with a train set, puppet theatre and a children’s hour on mondays - the instructor for children’s hour is super high energy, lot of fun. AllThe employees are super nice and responsive. Huge clean new bathrooms.

2020-09-12The library is always clean. The librarians are polite and efficient. I was pleased to find out that the laptop we borrowed was to be sanitized after we returned it. It makes me feel good knowing they are taking covid19 seriously.

2017-08-07This library is huge!! It is super clean and bright. They have tons of events, and a big yard you can also use when its nice out. The kids section is huge. There are tons of computers and space for adults to work too. I met the director Jack Edson today who is quite a wonderful character, and was profiled in the buffalo news. He is a real gem!

2021-04-01The staff is always helpful & friendly. Me and my daughter love this library. They have a great kids section.
