Positive: Customer Service! Very friendly staff. Both at the front desk and at the breakfast buffet. Especially Staff was extremely friendly and very nice. I am all about customer service and that¿s what I got. A GOOD WELCOME ANS A GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF. Th Negative: Everything was perfect about this hotel !!
Showed up at 430 pm to check in and our room wasn’t ready. Said it would be around an hour. At 630 our room still wasn’t ready. I asked if we could get a discount and that something needed to be done as we had 4 small children and had to stay in the lobby . and the front desk lady said,” we don’t give discounts, I can cancel your reservation and you can go somewhere else.” We were with a group so that wasn’t an option for us . When we made this reservation we booked two adjoined rooms because he had 4 young children with us. They tried putting us in two room on two different floors . Again not an option for us . So we had to wait longer again. Once we got to our room after 630 there was a strong smell of marijuana in our room, maintenance decided to spray fabreeze in the hall way. The shower would not drain , and our room keys stopped working multiple times . Overall was a terrible experience and willNot be going back .
Exceptional service, comfortable bed, the facility was clean inside and outside. Hot breakfast was a surprise and good. I would definitely stay at this Hampton hotel again!I returned and must provide a update flawless check-in process as honor member although the hotel is busy with multiple check-ins the staff was welcoming and my room was exceptionally clean with the scent of freshness 🙂
King suite is spacious. Huge desk which is great. Lots of space. Shower pressure not the best. Bed is NOT like any other Hampton Inn I have been to (and I have been to MANY in the past few months) so I can testify that the beds at this location are NOT remotely similar to the soft plush Hampton bed I have experienced at the other locations - in other locations they have a selection of various types of pillows to satisfy different people (feather, firm, and a variety) NOT here, they are all firm and not feather at all. This location, the mattress is a very firm coil bed (no memory foam feeling like in other Hamptons) and as stated the 4 pillows are all the same, not soft butmore bulky. Not what you will expect if you are looking for a standard Hampton Inn room. I think they need to update their beds quite frankly. They also have ultra slow wifi - unless you pay $4.99 a day. You can see photos for the speed of the free one vs. paid.Breakfast has a very good rotating selection. Warm breakfast changes daily which is good especially for those staying more than one night. Those turning on the tv in the breakfast area - turn off the news channels - you will annoy most people who dont want to hear all the b.s. - put something neutral like the Weather Channel on your massive tv in the breakfast area.Front desk staff NOT friendly or genuine, I am speaking of: Tiffany, Jennifer, Ruth (where do they get these people?) sorry but not only NOT friendly, but outright rude. I will spare the details here, but I never ever have had staff act this way, unacceptable. The people who WERE nice at this establishment were: Phonecia in housekeeping, Amber the executive housekeeper, and the man who works breakfast. So annoyed housekeeping staff rude af. Hispanic girl playing loud rap music (no headphones) so the entire hall had to listen to it - while she’s cleaning. I was in the middle of a virtual business meeting while all of this was happening. This same girl banged on my door (while I had a do NOT disturb sign on my door) screaming ‘Housekeeping’ I screamed back I am not checking out! She argued (as I opened the door) and said, well I have you on the list to be checking out - I said, that’s NOT the case I am checking out tomorrow. I additionally added that she is NOT to disturb a guest when they specifically have a DO NOT DISTURB sign on their door!! She said, ‘It don’t matter you are on the list so I am going to knock’ I reiterated that No you do not disturb guests. As I was closing the door, she said, ‘Ye Bi*ch.’ I had other incidents here seeing a man and woman down the hall screaming at the top of their lungs at each other - with poor toddlers who had to witness this and were crying hysterically, it was unnerving to say the least and staff was slow to respond. The staff they hire at this hotel are I cannot say in this post because they will delete it - just connect the dots and you will figure it out - for this reason ALONE I would look elsewhere. I give one star for the staff and the way they treat guests. A two star for the room, and 3 star for breakfast.
The same lady who picked us up at the airport was also the one to check us in to the hotel. They were extremely short staffed because of so many staff members being out due to Covid. The lady monitoring the complimentary breakfast made a point to announce that the breakfast would be closing shortly and asked if everyone had enough to eat. Ive never heard that announced before. Usually, the breakfast is just suddenly closed. My husband and I cant say enough positive things about this staff. They were very committed to making our stay pleasant and to ensure that we had everything we needed. They made the most out of a bad situation and we felt extremely well taken care of.
Extremely unprofessional and rude desk staff. They don’t answer the phone. They are short and snippy. We were locked out of our room several times because the key system is terrible. Leaks from the ceiling around the pool area. Bed was made but sheet not changed from last people staying in room (hair and dirt in the bed still). Do not stay here unless you want to be dirty and frustrated.
Its a very nice hotel conveniently located across the street from the airport. Tub and shower is very outdated. They are understaffed and the front desk is a bit abrupt and overwhelmed but they do a pretty good job. I wish these rooms had microwave ovens in each room. Its a bit unsanitary and very inconvenient for all guests to have to use the microwave oven in the lobby that is rarely cleaned out.
Positive: Hotel shuttle to airport was convenient. Pool area was clean and useable. Breakfast was pretty good. Negative: Staff was not friendly or professional. Hotel was dated. Bathrooms weren¿t super clean. No one told us upon check-in that you had to ask for your room to be cleaned- there¿s just a tiny little sticker on the bathroom mirror that mentions it.
Absolutely above and beyond customer service everytime I have been to this location. I have both stayed here, as well as parked my car for days / weeks / months at a time and the staff goes out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. The rooms are clean, the staff is kind, the service is great. Thank you to Sarah, Jennifer and Rosie for again making sure that your customers are taken care of and for excellent service.
Stayed Nov 30- Dec 1st. The room was not very clean.....dusty, pink mildew growing in the shower and actual fingerprints on the bedside light switch. No microwave which I didnt find out until 4:30 am and went to mic my breakfast before a very early flight out. Container that held the coffee supplies was filthy. I did tell the front desk when I checked out. Stayed at a Hampton Inn at Sarasota airport Dec 5th and the place was spotless. Room door was sealed shut showing it had been cleaned. Not so good n Buffalo. I used to work at the airlines in Buffalo and often referred people to the Hilton properties as that is where I prefer to stay. I would be horrified to have recommended this one. And after seeing the Hampton in SRQ, it seemed that much worse!!!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful, even though we arrived and left late at night / very early morning due to our flights. They ordered us a taxi to the airport when their shuttle wasnt running (due to the early hour) and the front desk clerk even picked us up at the airport herself, at 2 AM, to get us to our room after our returning flight. Great service that we really appreciated!!Our room was very clean and the breakfast the next morning was well maintained.
Typical hotel breakfast was ok. Not great, but OK.My daughter got a shower, only to discover that there were no towels. I went to the desk for towels. “We don’t have any clean ones right now. It will be about an hour.” Fortunately, the front desk person gave me some pool towels. Also asked for a roll away bed, as there are 5 in my family. Arrived at about 1 AM, no roll away in the room. Had traveled all day and just wanted to sleep, but had to wait for a bed. As if that weren’t enough, the roll away “bed” is actually just box springs, no mattress. I slept on it so no one else would have to. Terrible. Like sleeping on a pallet. The door to the breakfast room is held open (pocket door) by jamming a napkin between it and the frame. The shower was decent, but no wash cloths! Kinda difficult to get clean with no wash cloth.“We want your stay to be as undisturbed as possible” means “we aren’t going to make the beds, tidy the room, or empty the garbage unless you specifically ask us to”. Other hotels of different franchises are doing the same. Poor service in a service industry.Overall, not up to the standard I have come to expect from Hampton Inn. I am quite disappointed, not well rested, and not coming away with a good feeling.
Very clean hotel with extremely friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable. The fitness room was great. The breakfast was very limiting and there was no decaf coffee offered. The biggest problem I encountered is that their shuttle is not a 24-hour shuttle, despite the fact it is an airport hotel that promotes its airport shuttle on just about every page of the website. But if you come in later in the evening there is no shuttle.
Our room smelled horribly and we were told formerly, it had been a smoking room. We had no tissues and when we asked for some they brought toilet paper because they were out of tissues. The book that gave information about the hotels amenities was dirty and sticky, and written all over by previous customers. When we asked for a new one, we were brought card with television channels. We would not recommend it...
I love Hampton Inn. I love it so much that I decided not to book a hotel anyplace else BUT this place is a little dirty. I may rethink what hotels I book or maybe it is the location of this one by the airport in Buffalo. I dont know but I hope that the brand isnt slipping. The breakfast was full and very good though, and they cleaned the tables as we left.
This hotel is ok for one night stays, if you are staying any longer, go somewhere else. The staff is very friendly and working very hard, but you can tell very easily that the owner is very cheap and doesn’t want to hire enough staff for this size hotel. For example, they don’t do a daily service for the rooms, you have to request it in person. If you want fresh towels, you have to ask for them, they might have one or two available. My bath tub wasn’t draining, I had to call twice to get it fixed. I originally planned on staying 5 days in this hotel, I cut it down to 3 days and moved to a different hotel for the rest of my stay in area. By the way, for $150/night I expected a lot better service.
The room was very nice and the staff are helpful but they need to expand their breakfast menu to accommodate individuals who dont eat pork... I spoke to 3 kitchen staffers for the 2 days I was present for breakfast and all 3 of them informed me they personally dont eat pork either and that they have mentioned in the past that other options should be made available as well. This is very basic in 2021!
This hotel has great management, I left my wallet in the room and left, realized it 30 min later, she went to the room and retrieved the wallet. Thank God. I got back and was given my wallet minus the 400 dollars the maid took out. The watched the camera footage, saw she was the only person to enter the room. Confronted her, of course the spineless thief denied it. Waited 2 hours for the police to show up to do a report. Im sure nothing will come of it I only hope the management, who was awesome in trying to help me, fired problem girl. Dumb as she was.
The lady at the front desk by the name of Jennifer was so rude and it looks like she hated her job so much so that we felt so unwelcome. We are a diamond member yet she didn’t let us have any of the benefits that we are eligible for even as simple as premium internet. She even made me go down to the lobby to get an extra shampoo and conditioner ( because there was only one in the room ) instead of sending housekeeping to us. Because of her, our stay was horrible! She is destroying the good image of this establishment. A person like her is not supposed to work much more so at the front desk!!!
Hotel was nice staff was friendly.. however the bathroom in my first room was not clean. I was offered a new room that was on another floor . Unfortunately the guest were very loud children running in and out of rooms knocking on doors. Not the hotels fault .. Location great across from airport. Hotel offered some breakfast items.
The bedsheets did not appear to have been changed since the last guest. Flat sheet was not in the right place and was not tucked in. The top cover appeared to have Ben just flipped back in place, it was not even close to being even, side to side. Shampoo bottle was half empty. Refrigerator squealed all night. At the front desk this morning, someone asked if the flight display board was today or yesterday. The desk person just replied “I have no idea”. The only entrance that was open was the main entrance. Other doors were locked tight. Can they do that and still meet fire code? My last stay at this location.
Positive: Location Negative: Still NO hot breakfast. Some Hilton Honors perks not offered. No fresh baked cookies in the evening. Only one blend of coffee available and not available 24 hours a day. The pool wasnt open. Exercise room was locked. No coffee break goodie bags.
The pool wasnt open and the complementary breakfast was just bagels cereal breakfast bars things like that nothing Grand like you would expect waffles eggs things that actually make a breakfast. The only downside I have is for some reason we got charged an extra $200 which were trying to investigate on why we understand the two individual room charges but why there was an extra $100 per room charge separately we dont know were trying to figure that part out so check your bills.
It started with a free ride from the airport. The shuttle was on time and the driver was extremely nice. Once at the hotel my room was ready and beautiful. I did not use the pool or fitness center, but they looked very pleasant. Breakfast was a traditional Hampton Inn breakfast. Hotel looks very clean and recently remodeled. I would definitely stay here again.
We had an excellent stay. To top things off, the customer service from Michelle and house keeping helped our family find an item we had left behind. Our daughter left her teddy bear that she had since birth. House keeping could have easily tossed it. When we had called the next day the staff went above and beyond to help us create a plan to get it back. We are so grateful for the professionalism and kindness of the staff.
Great hotel. Had our family reunion here. The rooms were awesome and the staff was great. Even the breakfast was good. But housekeeping was a bit pushy. I told them at 8am I would be leaving the room this afternoon. They knocked on my door 3 mir times between them and noon. Then called and told me I was the last room the person had. If I didnt have it done now it couldnt be done because she was going home.
Close to airport, shuttle is 24hours. The staff were excellent. I checked in very late. They accommodated my need for a lower floor. They helped me with my luggage. They were really great. The room was very clean. The bed was perfect firmness. Very quiet. Couldnt ask for a better place to stay
Okay so pulling up its a great location right across from the airport. Walking through the lobby and up the elevator I was impressed on how the place looked. Upon entering the room the setup was interesting and room seemed fine for what we needed. Wife did not like that the sink and mirror were right in the middle of the room and everybody could potentially see her getting ready. Then came the issues. First, the remote for the TV didnt work. Called down to the desk and was initially asked to bring the remote down.... umm no lol, then she offered to bring new batteries up. OK cool! Then we discovered that the sink was clogged and wouldnt drain right. Then the room behind us had yelling kids and a night club party going on but wasnt an issue all night. Then in the morning we tried using the shower and the doors wouldnt shut and were basically falling apart. We called and requested a new room. Got moved from the 4th floor to the 2nd. This room the shower doors werent broken and the TV remote worked right away! However, the first night we were in this room we had someone stomping above us from 0500-0700. And I mean STOMPING like an elephant. Then the next night we had a person snoring in the room next to us that sounded like a warthog. Like I kid you not. They need to soundproof their rooms man!
Susan and I dated long distance in the late 70s between Buffalo and Cincinnati, and we like going back to visit friends in Buffalo. Susan picks the Hampton by the airport for the memory of flying in and out of Buffalo. Rooms are AKWAYS clean, friendly staff, and the price is right!!👍👍
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and updated. The room was a good size and the bed linen was clean. The pool is a salt water heated pool, and was clean. Breakfast had a lot of choice and staff were constantly cleaning up tables. Location was ten minutes away from the Walden Galleria Mall, and easy to find. Great stay, and great service!
Arriving we hours of the morning with young son in tow. Their complimentary shuttle was there waiting for us and with it being so cold out that was so appreciated. Online check in along with room key app worked seamless. To end our very short stay the boys had a swim in their crystal clear salt swimming pool like at home. No horrible chemical smells even tough it is an indoors pool and the pool water was nice and warm. We will be back soon!! Loved!!
Amazing service, Miguel in particular was fantastic. They were all very helpful in recommending places to eat and visit, as well as potential neighborhoods I should consider if I end up coming out here for a job. Rooms were also well insulated to the sounds of the airport. Im a light sleeper and didnt have any problems.
Its about 30-40m across the border. Its a good location but its a bit of a drive for food. We got the king suite which was surprisingly spacious. It had a large desk in the middle with an HDTV mounted on a bracket and a mildly comfortable couch bed. When they cleaned our room the garbage/recycling wasnt removed from the room but we got new sheets and towels. The breakfast was solid, there were eggs, sausage, fruits, coffee orange juice, bagels ect.
Its a nice place but if you are a light sleeper and need noise to sleep, like myself then good luck. While looking at the reviews people werent joking about the walls being too thin. If you arent on the top floor, you can hear the people above you and its bloody annoying...didnt get a restful sleep while being here. Other than that, its a decent place.
Friendly staff and one of the better free breakfasts. The salt water pool was nice and the pool opened at 7am to allow the kids to get a ton of swimming. Lost one star because oddly there was no hot tub. We were on the fourth floor facing the airport so the 3 kids could watch planes take off all day. I would stay again.
First off, the rooms and the breakfast was great. My experience at the front desk as I was checking in, is another story. I was told my online booking may have been overbooked, then had to wait 10 minutes at the desk while the attendant searched for an available room. Inconvenient, at the end though, she supposedly found the exact same room I booked a day earlier, weird.
Hotel needs to be rated with higher stars. The salt water heated pool is AMAZING! Lets not forget the complementary breakfast. I cant comment on that enough, youll have to try it yourself. The rooms are large, not to mention my wife was more than happy to have access to an extremely large bathroom and a spacious closet (Its a woman thing I guess). The service was very personable, we were checked in right away. The staff, especially Joannah, was very kind and prompt attending to our needs and concerns. We Definitely recommend this place. My wife and I are here on a business trip. The past week weve stayed at the Marriott which was a lot more expensive and didnt offer nearly the same kind of service or amenities as this place does. We ended up booking this hotel due last minute changes in our schedule. We will stay here from now on anytime we come to Niagara Falls, or buffalo.Anyone wanting something cozy but rich, book this hotel. You will get more for your money and time.
Staff was great, room was ok but wasnt clean when given to me,there was no paper in our bathroom. Had a incident with the pool where my 4yr old get a allergic reaction to the chlorine because the machine was pumping to much the smell of chlorine was so strong it was burning my eyes. My son came out itchy and with multiple blisters all over his body including his private part and the fact that hes autistic made it worst I had to sit under the water with him to get the chlorine off his body. The breakfast was horrible felt like chewing on rubber and the kids ended up with upset stomach after. Theyre were other kids running all over the hotel and just destroying everything, they took over the fitness room just in there fooling around they took over computer room and kept putting wet towels on the door that goes to the pool to keep it open no parent around supervising them. Other than that manager was great and handled the problem with the pool pretty well and my situation as well so much appreciated to management for the way they handled it. Hopefully my next stay we get to enjoy the pool much better :)
Clean and close to the airport but the Hampton has fallen short with the rooms. The walls are so thin we were not able to sleep. The people walking upstairs sounded like they were in our room. Go elsewhere if you want to have a good nights sleep.I mentioned my concerns to management and nothing was done...no compensation was even offered. There are a lot of options for other hotels in the area so I certainly will never stays at the Hampton Inn again.
Was here for a night and wanted to stay closer to the airport. Was greeted by the most amazing lady at the front desk. She was super welcoming and asked about my trip and was knowledgeable about the area and surroundings. She remembered my name and room number even after 4 hours and sent my Uber delivery right to my door.
Only stayed 1 night but I wished I could have stayed longer because the suite was so amazing!!! CLEAN, MODERN, SPACIOUS, GREAT BED, GREAT FRONT DESK SERVICE, GOOD FREE BREAKFAST - I can not complain about 1 thing. The airplane noise was virtually non existence and maybe thats because we were on the ground floor. If I could say 1 that would be there is hall way noise - lots of inconsiderate patrons who do not know how to close a door quietly but what can you do? I would still definitely return here and ask for the same awesome room :))
Stayed here about 1 month ago- Reserved a queen double bed room. When I got there they told me they overbooked and gave me a one bed room w/ a cot. She said, as a courtesy, she would not charge me for the cot, I was livid. Room had someones used teabag on beside table so they didnt clean it very well either. Would not stay here, this over booking has to stop, she said I was downgraded because I booked thru a 3rd party, didnt have that issue with the other 3 places I stayed during this trip.
Convenient location and huge updated rooms are great. Free WiFi is good enough for basic browsing and the like. Walls seem thin as I was able to hear my neighbor coughing at night and their alarm in the morning. Breakfast was mediocre: potatoes were edible, sausage was rubbery. There are other options nearby Ill try the next time Im in town.
Thanks to the folks at the front desk my stay was terrific! Andrea helped me with some toiletries and other staff directed me to which restaurants could deliver dinner when I needed it. The shuttle guy was more than helpful, taking me over to the galleria mall when I needed to get there for an appointment. Thanks for all the help you give us weary travelers!!
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Buffalo Airport at the beginning and end of our recent trip to Canada. It was conveniently located and reasonably priced. We initially picked this Hampton Inn because it was located right next to the airport and we were getting into Buffalo late, so we didnt want to drive the rental car very far. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. It was nicely decorated with little touches of flair that make a huge difference in differentiating the decor from many other hotels weve stayed at. The details really made a remarkable difference. The continental breakfast was great, like really great compared to some Ive been to. It had a lot of options. The only thing I can think of that wasnt so great was the colorfully haired woman who greeted us at the breakfast. She was a little too enthusiastic (*loud / intrusive) so early in the morning. We stayed here again on our way out of Buffalo Airport. This time we had to drop the rental car off and then leave the next morning very early. The kids loved the pool and we loved the coffee. The best part of this stay was our shuttle driver Steve C. who picked me up after I dropped off the rental car and also took us to the airport the next morning. He was nice and pleasant to talk to about Buffalo as hed lived there his whole life. This guy is top notch and Im sure hes a big part of why this particular Hampton Inn gets such great comments on its shuttle. If youre flying into Buffalo and need a nice place to stay, this is the place. Very flexible and accommodating with a great staff and good coffee and breakfast. Really much more than you could ask for. Thanks!!!
The hospitality aspect of this hotel gleams with excellence! I always stay here the night before a 6:00 a.m. flight to Haiti and the night of my 11:00 p.m. return. They send me off and welcome me home with warmth, professionalism, care, and concern. This most recent trip in January was an occasion for me to be inspired by Miguels exquisite kindness and sensitivity, and by Jerrys loyalty and conscientiousness. Most impressively, the management appears to be invested in, and proud of, their team. My son treats me with the overnight on both ends of my trip and I would never want the treat to be in any other place!Deb
This hotel has no insulation between floors. All night we heard people stomping above us. We called the front desk multiple times and nothing was changed. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and none as bad as the loud banging this one had all night long! I will never stay at this hotel again.
Stayed only a night. Searched through Expedia and decided to stay there as it seemed to be the closest hotel to the airport (was not! Hilton Garden Inn was closer by walking) and had good review scores. Had a late check-in (around 11 PM) and because of that I mailed the hotel a day before to be sure that everything is ok (nobody turned me back, but the room was reserved). There was no shuttle to the hotel from airport. Needed to walk in the middle of the night (walking distance, but it was hard to get there with luggages, so take a taxi! or may better to call them that you arrived and you need a shuttle ). Room was clean, had free internet, and breakfast. Manager was kind and arranged me a shuttle to the airport. It was only an eight hour stay but my overall impression was good.
Fantastic service and amenities while waiting for our flight to Orlando. Carlos was especially amazing bringing the family a basket of treats with a Harry Potter theme!! Also drove me to the local store to get some needed supplies. Breakfast was great and the family will definitely be coming back here next time we fly out of Buffalo!
Definitely not recommended. We stayed the night here before flying out of the Buffalo Airport, and had a very bad experience. The first thing we noticed was a Guest of the Day parking spot, which seemed strange. We booked using Chase miles, and were put in a room with the view blocked by the roof and the wall right against the elevators. We heard the elevators going very loudly all throughout the night, and had a hard time sleeping. We called once and asked to move rooms, and were told by the front desk agent that we cant be moved, but heard a girl in the background say (without wanting us to hear) we never give good rooms to people who book with miles! We then went down to the front desk, and this same girl said it has nothing to do with how we booked, so were not sure which to believe. We did not have a good stay at all and would never stay here again.
Great place to stay. The only challenge is the location. Walking from BUF was a quest. Met it, made it! The cold, no shuttle Because of Covid.... 2020s excuse 2 B Lazy and not put 100% into anything....NO More! Get back to work and quit using a Trojan Horse as an excuse to charge more, provide less and a sense of entitlement to Citizens hard earned money!
The family in room above us wet very noisy, sound and felt like they were running and jumping off bed. Check in around 4 30. Noise did not stop until after midnight. Was offered a different room but opted out due to a terrible headache. Finally fell asleep at 3 am. Other than this it was ok
The staff here was very friendly and very helpful when our flight was cancelled. They immediately got us booked and recommended nice restaurants. The shuttle driver, Chris Thornes, was extremely helpful and on time. He was very polite and informative about what I needed to do at the airport. Thanks!
Eager to spend our first night away with our twin babies, I phoned the hotel multiple times to see about getting 2 pack n plays in my room (they told me we needed a wheelchair accessible room) and was reassured. Also, my parents were coming as well, to help with the babies so I asked for adjoining rooms. I was told they can only put a request in and that there was no guarantee. When we arrived to the hotel, I was ridely told that they were unable to put both pack n plays in one room because of fire safety and that they were fully booked so the two rooms were two floors apart. I understand that they cannot accommodate all requests but I phoned a week before and a day before and they reassured me (particularly about the pack n play). Did they expect me to split my twins up? What if my parents hadnt been there? The manager on duty gave no ounce of empathy and did not even apologize. I would have been appeased with ar least an apology for someone giving me the wrong information. Iwas very unimpressed. If it werent for the other staff, the whole experience would have been negative.
This property is conveniently located adjacent to the airport and downtown Buffalo. However, the property is poorly managed. Front desk staff kept us waiting at checkin with no acknowledgement that we were standing there. Calls to housekeeping and maintenance were ignored. There are likely better options in the area adjacent to the airport.
I am unimpressed with this Hampton Inn. The location is convenient but make sure you get a room on the South side away from the airstrip. The desk staff did not make eye contact or greet us when we walked in. In our room, lotion was missing from the common amenities and our shower handle was barely functional. Although, the self check in and iPhone locks are cool, there are probably better options for your money
My family and I were supposed to fly out from Buffalo airport early Monday morning at 6AM on Christmas Day. However United Airlines unexpectedly changed our flights last minute to later that morning so we were stranded with no hotel to stayed at for the night. We ended up parking at the Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport and the manager on duty, Abdalla Attia, kindly took in the four of us and offered to let us stay in the cafe area to rest up before our flight. He also offered us water, Christmas treats, pillows and even blankets as we were scrambling to get out of the snowy weather. We were so grateful for all his assistance to helping us settling in until it was time for us to take the shuttle to the airport. Although we didn’t end up staying at the inn for the night, we are so impressed everything Abdalla did for us and we will definitely make sure we stay here when we visit Buffalo next time! Thank you so much Abdalla for your hospitality and wishing you a very merry Christmas from your friends from Toronto!

2022-04-19We had a great stay - Ruth did a fantastic job of welcoming us after a really long day of travel. She got us set up in quiet, comfortable rooms with an upgrade because were members and travel frequently. Beds are very comfortable, clean room and the grab-n-go food downstairs saved us from having to go out for food. The next morning, the airport shuttle driver was great! I think his last name was McGuire? Mc something! Only thing minor weird thing was the coffee pods didnt fit in the coffee maker so I had to hold it in place to make coffee. Otherwise it was a perfect 10.

2022-01-16It was very pleasant stay..Id love to stay again whenever I travel by Buffalo. Beds are very comfortable. Room was spot less clean. Only thing i missed microwave but not a big deal. I checked in around early 3:00am..staff members are very professional and helpful. Check in and check out process was very smooth..best part free hot buffet starts from 6 to 10am.

2022-04-04I would definitely stay here again, especially because the breakfast was really good, but the location was terrible. I didnt even put two and two together that it was right next to the airport so there would be low flying airplanes all night long. If youre a light sleeper like me, dont expect to get a lot of sleep. Plus we heard people in the room above us at night and early in the morning. But the service was great, everyone was super nice, especially the gentleman running the breakfast. And speaking of breakfast I enjoyed it both mornings and Im a big fan of breakfast

2022-05-19Nice Hampton Inn. Nice room. Good fitness center. Excellent location near the airport. Cookies and soup every evening in the breakfast area. Very difficult to get housekeeping service. I asked everyday of my stay for service. I got it only the last day of my stay. I would stay there again when visiting the area.

2022-04-28The first room given to us was substandard. The mattress was hard, the closest doors were off track and hard to open/close, and the bathroom was also missing the over head light fixture. When I called the front desk the person I spoke to was rude. She told me all the mattresses are the same. I spoke to the manager on duty and she gave me another room. The second rooms mattress was softer but the shower was missing the sliding glass doors. When I reserve a room, the least I expect is a clean, complete room and everything in good working order, any less is unacceptable. My wife and I have stayed in the Hampton hotels throughout the country and have enjoyed our stays. Weve never had this experience before. Our stay was not enjoyable this time.

2022-03-20Rooms were clean, but small. Nice pool and breakfast. Park and fly with shuttle worked out well (it’s a van, not a bus, so prepare to strap in car seats). Front desk staff were rude and didn’t follow through on what they said they would do. I’ll stay somewhere else next time. Lots of other hotels to choose from with better customer service.

2022-02-27The hotel is clean and pleasant enough but it is when things go wrong you can tell how good is a hotel. They cleaned and took away my possessions after my first night because the cleaner thought I checked out leaving all my clothes and toiletries. They brought my clothes back but I have no idea where they have been. Later on I realized I lost my contact lenses. No offer of free laundry or compensation. Gave me a replacement shaving blade and cream but no offer on my hair product. There were other things but I felt they are very understaffed and lack communications among the stuffs. Day staff had no idea what happened to me, etc.Overall, it was one of my worst hotel stays and I have been to plenty of hotels.

2022-02-25I booked 2 rooms through park, sleep, and fly. A few days later, I called to confirm the rooms with the Hampton Inn. They only had 1 room booked and were super rude. They ended up finding our original reservation and changed it to 2 rooms. I was so glad that I followed up on the reservation. When we were checking into the hotel, the ladies at the front desk could not guarantee that we had a parking spot to stay the night, let alone to leave our car for the week. They made us go find a spot before we even checked in. Thankfully, we found one. The walls in the hotel are so thin, it sounded like people were in the room. We had a super early flight. They said to come to the lobby and it would be no problem. At 3:45 am, no one was around. We yelled into the back offices for about 15-20 min. Someone finally came out. We went to get on the shuttle and no one had kept it clean from the snow and ice. The shuttle door was frozen shut and they couldnt open it. Another guest, who was stressed about their flight, went out and finally freed the door. By this time, there were about 12 guests that had to get to the airport. In the end we made it ok and our car was there, but I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! Do not book it.

2022-05-27Theo General Manager Cancelled my two night stay with no notice, and then the desk girls tried to offer me my same room for $90 more pre night. Ya no thank you! What a scam. Couldn’t talk to the manager, either. Went to Sleep Inn and Suites 1/2 the price and the employees are wonderful! They said it’s not the first time they’ve heard that happening to people. I was traveling with 3 small children and didn’t have much options. Thankfully I didn’t have to give them my money.
