This is great place to hang out and play guitar at night. Just watch out for the bugs sometimes...

2020-09-24You can take a nice walk across the bridge and back. Mill pond is on the right side of the bridge. Keep an eye out for the famous Bald eagle couple of Long Island! Their nest is in the area and they come to the pond to hunt. They are huge majestic birds. Heron park is at one end of the bridge, a small sit down park with a couple benches and a nice view of the pond.

2018-08-20Nice, short walk across bridge, also small area around cool 22 tall sculpture of a blue heron. Spill way under bridge, looks like good fishing for bass, crappie and a few others off bridge during high tide. Nice view. Parking on either side of the bridge. Didnt investigate the other side. Want a leisuely 1/2 hr stroll after dinner its nice. And free.

2021-11-27A little neighborhood pocket park. If you live in the area, you know it as a spot where eagle photography and fishing mix. It adds a little touch of class to a scenic area.

2021-06-09Beautiful area to stop by, either after having a sandwich at hometown bake shop or something from Sweetie Pies on main. Not a lot of parking, but you can easily walk from down the road if you want to sit for some quiet and to take in nature. Recommended.

2019-03-18The park is very small with only 3 benches and a very large pretty wire sculpture of a Heron. But a nice little village, with beautiful views of the pond, and lots of birds
