Had my irrigation system installed in April of 2020 and was so happy with the sale and installation. The gentleman who sold us the system came to the house sold us on the system by saying it is a 5 yr wty and they make there own product and they stand behind it. this April they open my system and do not check anyof the zones for functionality just if they worked. long and behold a month later I run the sprinklers and two of the heads dont work so I called for a service call and they charged me $160 to replace one head and I didnt even bother with the 2nd head. I am all about keeping the local companies going during these times but this is terrible customer service and will never call them or recommend them again. they were $600 more then any other company but we went with them because of the wty and looked like great equipment. 1 yr old system two bad heads and they charge u...stay away...buyer beware.....Owner called and rectified any issues I had....A simple miscommunication
I can not say enough good things about Hi-Tech Irrigation. We used them at the end of last season and stayed with them for this season. Thank goodness we did ! They updated out automatic sprinkler system at the start of the season, and, as a result of some issues with some landscape work done by someone else Hi-Tech had to come back twice this season to repair issues caused by the other contractor. They were prompt, efficient and priced fair. I will definitely stay with them for my sprinkler service. The office staff is exceptional from appointment set up to follow up. Superb company all around!
I would like to compliment Nikki in the office and TJ and Phil out in the field for their excellent service and caring to get things done. Nikki for accommodating my requests and especially for TJ and Phil for repairing my irrigation system with care. In extreme heat and humidity they worked tirelessly to get the job done right the first time! Thank you all!
Absolutely phenomenal. I had three other companies come before and none could figure out my system. Shawn came and knew exactly what he was doing. He was knowledgeable and respectful. He did all the work for a very reasonable price. Highest of recommendations for this company.
These guys are golden! Theyre a great company to deal with, everyone there is extremely courteous and professional. The entire team of workers are professional and cleaned up thoroughly after the installation. My lawn looks beautiful and I couldnt be happier. I have and will continue to recommend and use them.
I’m not one to write reviews but this experience defiantly warrants one. I recently purchased a new home in Islip. Unfortunately it did not come with a sprinkler system. My new Neighbor highly recommended High Tech Irrigation. Me being from queens and not knowing much about lawn care took his word on it and gave them a shot. When I called, I spoke to a wonderful lady named Alexxis. She was very knowledgeable and explained to me in detail the process and what it intailed. I was sold. So she schuleded me an appointment for someone to come and give me an estimate. A few days later Mike came to my house and he to was abosolulty phenomenal. He gave me the perfect layout for my property and was very patient with 100 questions that I had for him. Within a few days I was up and running. To top it off, about a week later I recieved a call from Karen the owner not only to see how I was doing because she must of heard that I was recovering from a bad accident, but to see if I was satisfied with there work. I couldn’t be happier. That really means a lot when your whole team is on the same page from the start of a project and they see it all the way through. I highly recommend High TECH Irrigation to anyone. 10 STARS..
Do yourself a favor and find another company! I don’t make many reviews, but feel this is necessary. I thought they were doing a good job. The tech stayed at my house for hours (delaying my plans for the day) because her supposedly was rewiring my system. I asked myself “How could the wires need changing if there was no problem last year when they serviced my house, but let it go.” He charged me hundreds of dollars that I paid.The next year, a friend had gotten into the business and offered to help open my system. When we did, we found that the box that the Hi-Tech person was rewiring for hours only had 2 wires in it!!! When I called Hi-Tech to inform management because in having over 20 years management experience myself, I can understand how someone can be taking advantage of the system, customers and their employer and all Hi-Tech was interested in was collecting their money and couldn’t care less about my experience and being ripped off. The “Manager” laughed on the phone saying “It’s only seventy dollars.” He also asked “Why did it take a year for you to look at the system?” My point is “Who looks at every part of their system on more than a yearly basis?” That’s what I pay them for!!! How would I know until the next opening? NEXT YEAR!I hope everyone finds this helpful. There are a lot of honest good hard working people that deserve business. Hire one of them.
Very Pleased with Hi tech this is my second time using themJohn and his crew did a really nice job making sure that all the spots on my lawn will be covered. they took the time to show me how to use the app and set up the times. Will absolutely recommend them for anyone needing a sprinkler system or winterizing
How this company has such high reviews is beyond me. The problem is not only the fact that they were unavailable to carry out a service that I had already paid for but how demeaning and unprofessional their staff was. I hardly ever rate any business poorly as it’s not my character to do so but this was deserving.
Great company and staff, from Lex setting up the appointment and her fantastic customer service, to Mike in sales walking us through the process and explaining the layout. The quick and efficient job done by John and his crew and a special thank you to the owner, Bobbyfor making sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

I had a number of estimates from a number of irrigation companies come to my house for estimates. Bobby the owner himself came out to my house and went over in detail what I should do. Was extreamly respectful to my wife and house. I was so impressed I hired them. All the guys came to my house on the scheduled day on the exact time they said they would be there. Everyone was respectful, they needed to come inside to have access to the water and immediately took off shoes and made sure they didnt track any dirt inside my house. The job was done professionally, not one issue. Best thing I did for my yard to get sprinklers.
Hi-Tech Irrigations technicians arrived on time and were cordial and professional during the entire visit. They were thorough and spent time to diagnose and repair a stuck valve and broken solenoid in system. The company obviously cares about making the customers happy, since someone else told me i needed all new valves. I highly recommendHi-Tech irrigation. Dan -Huntington, Ny.
Anyone that says bad things about this company obviously just has a Chip on there shoulder and is blaming Hi-Tech. My whole family uses them and my brother actually did lawn sprinklers for 20 years almost and I asked him to check up on the work they did for me after reading some reviews and he told me it was all legitimate and put in perfectly were his exact words. Id say just try using them yourself and make the decision Im sure you will see how professional they are.
I would like to thank Hi-Tech Irrigation and my neighbor. I was always interested in a lawn sprinkler system. To my surprise I look out and see one being installed next door. From start to finish I watched a team of professionals at work. I never realized how quick, neat and clean a sprinkler system can be installed. Now my lawn looks better than it ever has!! I emailed hi-tech- owner came gave me a great price. i had the sprinklers installed in 5 days. other companies never even showed for estimate and never called to cancel.
Had the best experience with Hi-Tech today .. I was at work and had decided to fix an age old irrigation system... They fixed it got it up and running left not one thing out of place and even filled in a few holes they didnt dig!! The owner is absolutely awesome !! Thank you so much to the staff and Crew at hi-tech irrigation!! I got home today and was so pleased to see everything fully operational and all my beds and lawn being covered!!
Bobby, I cant thank you enough for the holiday lighting for our Christmas in July Swet 16. It rained but it didn’t poor. The yard looked incredible and everyone was amazed. I told my husband the minute I met you that I trusted you with my daughter’s Sweet 16. You’re genuine and you were the only one who was so enthused about making our precious daughter’s day spectacular. The confetti machine was perfect and Vance was a pleasure to have at the party. It’s a day we’ll never forget and I owe it all to you, your creative mind and your teams hard work!
These guys are good. They analyzed my system and explained to me carefully where all the inefficiencies were. They changed the placement of many heads, removed some, and gave me different heads to keep the streams on the plants and grass and not my house and fence. Love these guys!
Had a system installed . What a mess they made. System did not work correctly from day one and they send technicians that don’t know what they are doing. Better yet even with the system under warranty they try to charge me every time they come. Stay away!!!!! NOTHING HIGH TECH WITH THIS COMPANY maybe they should change their name . Wish I could leave 0 stars.

I received an unsolicited call from a company using this business name and the individual claimed to have done work for my neighbors. The number was tied to an individual in West Sayville but it was disconnected like one of those calling schemes . Regardless of whether the call was legitimate or not, businesses need to be aware this is happening and must contact legislators and other local politicians to put a stop to this. Thank you for responding to my concern.

2022-06-15I really had high expectations because the sales rep that set up my contract was incredibly nice. Some of the workers actually have a work ethic and care about the issues and correcting, while some were absolutely lazy. I know this because I’ve had to have them come back multiple time to fix issues, if still there is an issue and I am giving up. I’ve called 2 time’s within the last week to add Rey the issue of what’s most likely a double charge and the Customer service said they would pull invoice and call back which they still have not. I’m done with this company and absolutely disappointed.

2022-05-151-I HAD A SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLED IN OCTOBER. THEY CUT MY CABLE LINE AND MY NEIGHBORS, ALSO. THEIR ANSWER - WE HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH CABLE. YOULL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT.2-WHEN THEY WINTERIZED THE SYSTEM, THEY USED THE WRONG FAUCET TO DRAIN IT. SO, IN THE FREEZING WINTER, THE PIPE IN CEILING OF THE GARAGE BURST AND RAINED DOWN ON EVERYTHING STORED THERE INCLUDING MY SONS BELONGINGS STORED THERE. I GOT AN EMERGENCY PLUMBER WHO REPLACED A 12 PIECE OF PIPE. THE NEXT DAY ANOTHER SECTION BURST AND I CALLED HI TECH AND THEY REPLACED IT AND REALIZED THAT THE SHUT-OFF VALVE WAS NOT COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AND THEY FINALLY BLEW OUT THE WATER IN THE SYSTEM.3-THE NEW INSULATION IN MY ATTIC WAS DRENCHED AND LEFT WATER MARKS ON 1/2 OF MY BEDROOM CEILING4--WHEN IT WAS TIME TO TURN ON SYSTEM, I INSISTED THEY SEND A PLUMBER AND SURE ENOUGH THE PIPE BURST, SOAKED THE GARAGE AGAIN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. I WAS TOLD THAT MIKE, THE SUPERVISOR WOULD BE OVER AND WHEN HE WASNT THERE WITH THE PLUMBER, I WAS TOLD HE WOULD BE THERE LATER. I WAITED UNTIL 3PM AND HE NEVER SHOWED AND NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE.THE FINAL MESS IS WITH MY OTHER NEXT STORE NEIGHBOR. AS I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW THE OTHER DAY, I SAW THAT THE SPRINKLER ON THE SIDE WAS HITTING 1/2 WAY UP THE SIDE OF HIS HOUSE LEAVING MARKS BY HIS NEW WINDOW. I CALLED AND ASKED FOR MIKE. 2021-06-04I never write reviews, but in this case I had to share. In a day where integrity & comfortable business transactions are scarce, Hi tech is a breath of fresh air. I had 3 estimates prior, and not one was I comfortable they even knew what to they were doing. When Mike came by it was a sigh of relief. Not only that, but for the system he provided it was actually the best price. They come with a crew who are knowledgeable, respectful, an absolute pleasure. They treat the job as if they’re working on their own home. They’re all smiling & happy throughout the entire process. Then they will not leave until they answer every question & are sure you understand everything about the system & how to run it. Today I had them back to install my final zone. They experience was as wonderful as the first. When they were done I didn’t know they were here. In a back yard full of rocks, they evened leveled them out so even it looked better than before they got here. From the second you meet Mike, you’ll know this is the company you want installing or maintaining your system. Only problem is don’t expect the job to be scheduled in a week. But I assure you it’s well worth any wait!! If more companies conducted their business like Hi Tech, getting work done in your home would be a far less difficult process.

2019-08-17What a pleasure dealing with Hi-Tech. The rep was polite over the phone setting up the appointment and was able to send the guys over within the time frame I was looking for.. As a new homeowner I couldnt have been happier with the service I received from these guys. They were very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease from the consultation to the finished product.

2021-09-23Hi Tech has installed a new system for me in my very large backyard at my home, completely redesigned my existing sprinkler system in the front of my house, made a number of small repairs and adjustments in addition to my opening and closing for the last few years. Mike, Bobby and all of their crew are very professional and very knowledgeable. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. Tis company is extremely competent and fair. I highly recommend Hi Tech irrigation and would give them 10 stars if I could do it. I own an HVAC company and understand how difficult it is to provide exceptional service. Bravo!!!

2020-06-24Hi Tech was recommended to me through a family friend that owns a landscaping business. I myself also work in agriculture and horticulture so I know basics about irrigation systems. That being said, I am very impressed with the work that Hi Tech has done for me. They serviced a previously existing system I had at my house, made repairs, and installed a new line as well as drip and misters.They were on time, they worked quickly and efficiently. They were polite and friendly. After they were done, they cleaned up after themselves so well you would have no idea they had been burying lines.After everything was done, they took the time to walk me through the property as they switched each zone on to show me that it was all working correctly.As far as cost is concerned, I would say they are extremely fair; actually, they are a bargain considering the quality of the work done.They stayed within range of the estimate they provided; I appreciate that there were no last minute invoice increases, which other service providers have done to me in the past. I also like that the invoice they gave me was itemized- this is always a sign of an honest and reliable business that knows their stuff.They used nice quality/brand materials too, not some cheap junk that breaks after a season.For either commercial or residential irrigation, I would highly recommend this company. I am very happy with their service today.

2019-07-11Im not one who usually writes reviews, but Hi-Tech Irrigation did an amazing job. I received prices from 3 different companies & Hi-Tech was the most competitive. I met John before the install to go over a few things, especially where to install the control panel & he was very knowledgeable & accommodating. He was truly superb. Once they finished I could barely even notice any work was done other then a few spots where the heads were installed. I highly recommend Hi-Tech Irrigation.

2021-07-24I couldnt be more pleased with my landscape lighting and design. The ambiance is wonderful and it gives a sense of security as well. I look forward to adding lights to my backyard soon.. Highly recommended for their service and professionalism!

2021-03-29Guys that came (turn system off in late fall/on in early spring) were always respectful and knew what they were doing. Work was good quality. My biggest complaint is the pricing. Very high in my opinion to replace sprinkler heads.
