I was in Buffalo with a sick loved one at ECMC and I was far from home. I didnt want 2 stay at a hotel but I needed somewhere to go. I was exhausted and anxious worrying about my loved one when I arrived. Not only did Josh give me the very best rate he could he was also sympathetic and friendly. He calmed me down a bit by simply being a good person. Thanks Josh. If Im ever in Buffalo again this is where Im staying.
We arrived after 10 hours on the road, we were welcomed warmly by the lady at the desk. After going to our room we went to the restaurant for drinks and dinner. Landon was very knowledgeable about the menu, and just a very attentive bar tender/server. Look forward to going back.
The hotel was clean, staff were very nice and helpful. And the hotel was quiet, almost soundproof because, though directly across from the airport, we never heard the planes taking off or landing. Issues were they did not stock Pepsi and for the price of the room, they did not offer free breakfast like most other hotels we patronize. Luckily there was a McDonalds right across the street.
Everything was wonderful until Ichecked out. There were 3 young ladies at check-out and as I asked for a receipt one of the girls asked me to place my key card into a bin so she did not hear my request. When I asked again I was rudely told by another that it makes it harder to give a receipt once checked out. I told her I had asked for it. She rudely again told me I had not asked for one and continued to argue.. In all my years of travel I have never meet someone in hospitality be so rude and mean. My one regret is that I did not get her name. I will be reaching out to management and corporate
The staff is very friendly & courteous. The breakfast was good and they made eggs by the order, great service, it was nice to have it back. The staff gave us a to go container and let us take back food for our son. Our room however is a bit outdated, the plugs need your block not just usb. The floor had food, like noticeable tail mix in front of the pull out couch. The toilet paper on one of the rolls was almost gone, just saying it could have been replaced. The remote had hardened goo on it that came off with a little elbow grease using the cleaning cloths provided. The rooms are quite even though near the parking lot and the airports across the street. Overall it was good.
If you choose to, or need to, stay near the airport, this is a wonderful choice. It did not have the feel of an airport hotel (utilitarian) and once inside, there was no reason to think you were a stones throw from an international airport. Wonderful, welcoming, helpful staff!
Highly recommended! Wonderful front desk staff, helpful and courteous. Beautiful pool area and inviting common areas. Very clean rooms, nicely appointed, but could have used a nice sized table and maybe a couple more chairs. Ate in the room quite a bit as meal service was very limited due to Covid.
Opened door to room and could smell ever odor that’s ever been in there. It was like they converted a smoking room to a non smoking room. I understand that hotel rooms don’t get much fresh air in them but you think they would change the rooms HVAC filter more often, there was visible dust on the intake vent cover. Don’t stay in room 102!
One of the better Hilton properties..great rooms..clean and comfortable. Great beds..staff is polite and attentive..but the shining star of this hotel is Heather in the restaurant..this young lady is not only a fantastic server but has great people skills. She can not only take your order but she can take her time and listen to a story or joke and make you feel like she actually cares..she is not just there to do her job..she enjoys what she does and makes you feel at home..I travel and stay in Hilton properties at least 2-3 times a week and I can say without a doubt she is the kind of person that makes a long day on the road come to a very nice end..Hilton needs more people like her..this young lady is a champ and I will continue to stay at this property based solely on her working here..you Hilton people have a keeper with her!!
(Night of 6/1/21, arrived 11:30 pm) As a person who travels 50 nights a year, I am quite used to and accepting that things are almost never perfect. I estimate that I have stayed in hotels 500 or more nights in the last decade. This will be my 2nd bad review in that time frame. I arrived on a late flight into Buffalo, took a taxi to the hotel, and the front doors were locked. No problem, buzzed the desk and said I had a reservation. Gave my name. The lady running the desk said I didn’t have a reservation. I checked my email and verified that I had the right address. Again, I was told I had no reservation, and was asked for a reservation number. I had booked through hotels.com, so I gave that reservation number and was then told (quite smugly) that that was a hotels.com number, and that she would need the one that the hotel provides to Hotels.com, which I of course had no access to. By this time, my battery is nearly dead and I’m standing in the dark trying to find an outlet. I was told I would have to call Hotels.com while staying outside and have them call the hotel. After finally getting through, Hotels.com called the hotel and I was finally let in. I was told there was a misspelling (more smugness) and that was blamed on Hotels.com. Again, 500 nights stayed with hotels.com, never happened before. In short, I was treated like a criminal and not given any help whatsoever to sort things out, just “screw you customer” and get back you to us when you figure it out. On top of that, my room keys didn’t work so I had to come back and get them reprogrammed. Once I was finally in my room and settled, I turned on the TV and guess what? Weak signal, wouldn’t work. I will never give this place my business again. To whomever monitors these reviews, don’t bother telling me to reach out to you, or providing one of your weak canned responses.
The hotel is definitely showing its age... mattresses are not at all up to standards... the pull out mattress in the sleeper sofa is absolutely unusable.The cleanliness of the room and room conditions sub par... stains on the bedding, furniture and holes in the walls ! In addition it is apparent that no one has bothered cleaning the HVAC filter as the vent cover was covered in dirt, one could only imagine what the filter looked like...Obviously if the above was what I found, their room guarantees for Covid cleaning are definitely questionable.. unfortunately all other hotels are booked or we would be out of here... went out bought my own cleaning supplies and an air mattress...As a long standing Hilton Honors member .. this particular hotel I would not recommend .
Positive: Pool was fun, staff was nice Negative: Room was gross. Stunk like cigarettes- apparently it used to be a smoking room and they did not properly clean it so that it was appropriate for a non-smoking room. Chair was very stained, carpets were sticky, bathtub liner was ripped, room was very humid
Accounting procedures was not acceptable, I had two charges placed on my credit card that the front desk could not account for. Then they pre-authorized my room at check-in, then did a second charge for the same amount when I checked out. So they charged my card twice for the same amount.
Loved staying here. Great people. Good sence of humor. Food was available even at 11 PM. Room was excellent & obviously clean. The mattress & pillows were PLUSH...super comfortable. Staff wants you to be comfortable & enjoy your stay. Prices are excellent! This is exactly where Ill be on all my Buffalo / Niagara visits.
Even though we were close to the airport you could not a sound in our room and we were facing the airport!!!!Staff was really nice at this location. I felt very welcomed. Breakfast was not included, no snacks unless cash value. However the hot tub , very large pool and really nice fitness center made up for that. Many restaurants were close by & shopping and attractions. We had so much fun. The beds are great too slept well.
My flight was cancelled so I was already in a sour mood. I booked a room last minute. A very friendly lady picked me up in the shuttle. She was so nice! EVERYONE was nice. I ordered room service and the food was really good. The room was clean. Just what I needed for an overnight stay. The shuttle driver that brought me back to the hotel was so nice as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay at such a frustrating time.
The rooms are very spacious! Pleasantly surprised that we had a living room for the pullout. Very clean and excellent service. They allowed our group to take over one of their patios in the evening and again in their lobby the next night. The front desk staff even helped us win Name That Tune!
My family and I needed two nights at this hotel but was unable to get a second night (sold out). The food and service was great at this location. **The only issue we had, was the huge stain under the mattress (stripping bed to make it easier for housekeeping). The front desk and room supervisor, immediately addressed issued. They apologized and refunded our money without asking. This hotel treated us very nice and we wished we could have stayed a second night. Thank you for the positive service.
It was a nice place. Clean & comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. The shower head was an unusual design, but there was no way to redirect the spray. Breakfast was good - reasonable selection on the budget along with made to order eggs & French toast. I was surprised it was very quiet - I expected to hear lots of noise from the airport takeoffs & landings. It was very clean & modern.
The morning breakfast could of been complimentary. But no I paid 21.95 for my daughter and I then shared it with mom. Great place besides that. Room is great Big & Clean, pool & hot tub awesome! Thats why they got 3 stars or else I would give it a 1 star. Luckily I had money left over for my daughter to have breakfast on here birthday. Staff is friendly and the cook is awesome.
What a lovely, friendly and inviting place. A big shout out to Joshua at the Front Desk and Richard in the Kitchen who both made my wife and I and our kids feel at home. Clean, exceptionally friendly and a great menu. Thanks to the Team! It was a perfect stay and the girls loved the pool!
This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful service. Weve experienced only one problem and that was quickly resolved. The room was exquisite and priced reasonably. We got a king suite with sofa-bed in the living area which served us well as a family of four. It was clean, smelled good, and everything was in great working order. Will definitely stay here again.
The front desk attendants were helpful and pleasant. We didnt have time to use the extra amenities, so I cant comment on them. The room was nice, but far from perfect. The armchair was stained, and the nightstand was falling apart. The cleanliness was acceptable, but far from perfect. The pillow cases had dark smudges on the back, and we found hairs on the bathroom floor. I dont regret staying here, but I might investigate a different hotel for next time.
Stayed here 2 nights last weekend and let me say they exceeded my expectations. The airport is a stone throw away from the front doors and yet you could not hear airplanes while inside the hotel. Rooms were clean as well as the hotels common areas. Front desk was super helpful with setting up the accommodations for my weekend away. I thank Grace (front desk) and Mike (maintenance) for going above and beyond setting everything up to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Cant wait to stay here again in the future.
Ok first off this hotel does not have queen sized beds. I asked for two queen sized beds on booking and they did not inform me of the fact they only have double beds. This was found out at an 11pm check in. To their credit they upgraded me to a 2 double suite which had a pull out coach double. Still it was an uncomfortable sleep. The amenities were good, fridge, coffee, the usual The breakfast was surprisingly good. Nice pool and hot tub and very nice exercise room All in all not bad and friendly staff Not sure I would return due to the beds
The staff were truly remarkably friendly and accommodating. My wife and I want to thank the front desk staff: Josh, Autum and Alex.We also want to thank Heather our server in the restaurant for her efforts to make dining enjoyable.We will definitely stay again for our next flight
Pleased with restaurant meal - steak, vegetables and green salad suited my diet perfectly, and was delicious. Server was very helpful as well. Room was comfortable and met my needs at a reasonable price considering parking included in my package. Only negative, when I arrived and opened the door to my room one of the maintenance staff was seated in the rooms lounge chair watching basketball on TV...bit of a shocker!!!
Exceptional front desk staff! I was delayed overnight. They got me a room immediatly.I was in my room and down for a late dinner within 10 minutes. Transport drivers both excellent. The young man making omelets this morning was delightful. Made me the best omelette ever! Cant say enough good things about your staff. Hilton properties are consistently excellent but your staff made my unexpected stay a pleasure. Thank you. Please let them know how much a weary guest appreciates them.
GleMediocre hotel. For the price and name I expected nicer. $5 water, AC that would shut off all bight in 80 weather so the room would get hot all night no matter how cold you set the temp so we were up all night hot. We came during COVID they forgot half our breakfast and gave us plain yogurt that was melted soup. I could have gone to a $50 hotel, saved money and gone to a nice breakfast. Disappointed, Hilton does better than this we know because we stay here all over.
Had to stay at this hotel last minute as our flight was cancelled. They were very helpful, sent the shuttle over quickly and got us checked in very fast. The hotel and room were clean and neat. Also appreciated that they helped us with some toiletry items we didnt have sense we hadnt planned on being there over night
Simply amazing staff was excellent ! My son left his very special stuffed animal in the hotel room we didn’t realize until we got to the gate for our flight they quickly drove it over in the shuttle bus and met my husband outside We were in town for a special promotion and had 5 large families with us they didn’t mind we all gathered in the lobby area and were truly amazing would stay here every take we visit
Room was clean, no weird hotel smells, and a great size (room 320). The staff is courteous but not over bearing. It had the standard amneties one would expect from a Hilton chain, water - coffee - restaurant in building. All in all, would stay here again as one of my preferences.
Great experience! As our family went to stay one night, before the November 14 Lake effect storm hit. We had to extend our stay due to the literally several feet of snow buffalo had causing many canceled flights. Paula the front desk manager made our stay great. Paula made adding nights to our stay very easy. She was very accomodating and allowed us to have a Pizza Party in the lobby for our children. This may not sound like a big deal, but to our children who wanted to be at Universal studios and couldnt, this small gesture was a BIG deal to us.Everyone who worked at the hotel had a great upbeat attitude and it felt like they really wanted to make our stay as comfortable as they could. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The hotel itself is Very Clean. I will be back. If you see Paula tell her she is Awesome!
Great location, the concierge was phenomenal and helped me get a better rate with 10 day parking included! Room was comfy and clean, there was some gunk in the caulking around the bathtub but thats pretty normal for budget hotels. Included WiFi is always appreciated. Overall pretty satisfied.

My flight was cancelled and I spent the night st this hotel, from the moment I walked in the staff did everything possible going above and beyond to make me comfortable and feel welcome. Room was great, staff was outstanding, I have not been treated that well since I went to Disney World. Thank you for the hospitality, you clearly focus on what you can do and not what you have to do. The hotel was booked because of the NHL draft. So checking in after midnight I ended up with an accessible room. It was rather large but the bed was so far away from the TV that the remote did not work. I called down to change rooms, but they were fully booked. I checked the next day, and was able to get a new room. Seems like a small thing, but it really made the difference. The rest of the hotel was nice bar, restaurant, Fitness and pool area. Front desk staff was very friendly.
Terrible . looks like a great place to stay but ended up finding roaches in my bed. Also found them on the counter near my food. The bed and sheets and the couch had stains on them I tried flipping the mattress but the stains were also on the other side. We ended up finding a total of 5 roaches I am so disgusted by this I’ve never felt so gross ever
Overall had a great experience. There were plenty of parking spaces available, the rooms were refreshing and air conditioned (as it was extremely hot out that day), and the staff were friendly and attentive as they brought us plenty of extra towels to the pool to accommodate our large group.
We were to have the breakfast included in our room rate. The electrical system went off while we were packing in the morning. Got downstairs and it came back on. This was at Hilton hotel only, all around town there were lights. We did not get a breakfast coupon for wifi code at check-in, called for wifi code, didnt know about needing the coupon for the breakfast. The front desk said that their system was down and they could not check it to see about it being included in our room rate, but we could pay the 13.95 each if we wanted. I guess I expected hospitality, we paid for the breakfast already, there is a buffet, really was their fault that they made the mistake about not giving us the coupon, or wifi code. This is not what I expect from a Hilton hotel.
Be aware! Not sure what the sound is but there is a mechanic sound coming from inside wall all night long, another sound is the air conditioning, its very loud when the compressor is on. Ventilation inside toilet doesnt seems working, it stinks. This hotel needs a refurbish.
Hilton Garden Inn should be renamed Jilting Garden Inn. I went there for a funeral breakfast. It was chilly out and I was glad to see a carafe of coffee. I asked the hostess for some hot water for tea for my friend as she did not drink coffee. The hostess stated the family didnt pay for any, only coffee She was about as friendly as a rattlesnake. My friend and I looked at each other in amazement. The place was nice looking and head very comfortable furniture but as for the service thumbs down definitely. They did eventually bring out the hot water after all by the way.
Great place!! What else is there to say?? If Im given the choice between all the places to stay near the Buffalo airport it would be the Hilton Garden Inn.. Im a diamond Hilton member. However without even mentioning the special benefit i was treated like a diamond member regardless. Everyone gets superior service at the Hilton Garden Inn. In addition to superior customer service they have a great bar and pizza shop there called The Landing that has speciality pizza like you have ever tasted. Its worth going. You will not be disappointed.

A special thank you to Vincena Redfern, Executive Housekeeper, I had forgot my cellphone charger and the hotel was sold-out. Vincena let me use her personal phone charger for the day until i could purchase one later after our event. Exceptional guest service Provided!
Indoor swimming pool was very clean, heated to 85, lots of towels available, my 10 year old swam every day and the hot tub was very relaxing, especially because it was an average temperature of 10 degrees the whole 10 days we were here, lobby was decorated for Chritmas, and looked very nice
If you get stuck in buffalo I definitely recommend staying here. Its close to Starbucks, they drive you anywhere you want to go within in 5 miles, the customer service was the best and the rooms are nice. I was surprised with how accommodating Amy was during our stay and the drivers were great. There are many dinner places within 5 miles and its nice they will drive and pick you up because Ubers were a tad expensive. We did have room service and it was actually really good. Definitely recommend this over the other hotels around.
Stayed for my wifes birthday this year and had a blast!Applebees is basicly across the street which was nice not to have to drive home from after a couple Perfect Margaritas.The staff was incredibly kind and pleasant. Premises were clean. They also put a nice spread out for breakfast as well!

They give a great park and stay package that makes life so much easier if you plan on flying from buffalo.Beats the traffic and long drive from GTA and rushing to the airport.You need to pay for parking at the airport anyway, why not spend the night at the hotel for a few dollars more?!!Best idea ever.Staff was super friendly and kind.They also offer airport shuttle pick up to and from airport.
Hilton Honors Diamond for Life member and I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and this hotel has everything going for. Perfect location, 5 min walk if that to the airport. Drop the rental off the night before and save a buck. Shuttle bus starting at 4am every half hour if you want to save the walk. McDonalds right next door if you need to feed the kiddos. Checking in was welcoming. Rooms are nice, upgrades HH members, restaurant has a large menu and some super nice waitresses that seem genuinely friendly, Christine in particular. Well managed, well staffed and well run, I’ll be back.
Awful. The furniture was stained with, well I dont want to know and neither do you. Pull out couch had sheets half on and looked like they were never changed from the last guest. The pull out was in terrible condition, had a big dip in it. When I think Hilton I think clean, updated high end. If thats what you want dont stay here!! Especially taking into consideration the prices.
My husband is a diamond Hilton Honors member. We stayed here before traveling out of Buffalo International airport and have to say that the staff has been amazing. They were accomdating to myself and our infant twins. When we asked at breakfast if we could use the high chairs to feed the babies their lunch despite the fact that we knew the restaurant was closed for lunch, they left them out for us to use! Thank you for providing such a great experience for us!! That is essential for us traveling with small children!!!!!
Turley incredible service. We arrived Feb 12 after our Toronto flight was diverted to Buffalo the staff that night was phenomenal!!! They drove us to a 24hr grocery store so we could buy baby Formula and supplies. In the morning they made my 4 year old chocolate chip pancakes Just for her ;-) which she still talks about. Thank you so much!!!!
Great accommodations, location and staff, Hiltons are a great chain and this is no exception. Very classy for Buffalo NY area, a great addition to the area. Right next to airport so for travelers this is a perfect location to stay. 20 minutes to downtown, 30 minutes or so to Niagara Falls. A minute to the highway, all perfect.
I am an Uber driver and I had to pick up some insulin that a customer had left in his room in his suitcase and drive it to Ellicottville. The front desk attendant was very kind and brought me ice to keep my drink cold along with the bag with the insulin in it so I could be on my way. Just wanted to say great job by her and I got the insulin home to the patient. So that was good and thank you for the ice
Hilton Garden Inns are my first choice always when I am traveling with family or for Business at any place. This property has great and amenities especially pool and spa. For breakfast included package its worth the cost if you book through Hilton Honors, love their breakfast buffet which has so many choices to select from. Was in the area was visiting Niagra falls with family. From this property, the drive is around 30 mins away from Niagra Falls, New York. Drove to Niagara for two days from this property. Its also opposite to airport which is an add-on. Their staff is really welcoming and courteous. I would recommend this property.
It was amazing rooms were perfect pool, and jacuzzi was perfect breakfast was OMG😍 the gym was excellent its also a good way to keep watch on the kids there is a huge see through screen where parents can keep watch on the pool area I loved it the kids loved it this was a good experience good way to spend time with your family....
Very nice Hilton hotel, directly across from the Buffalo-Niagara Falls International Airport. There is a restaurant on the first floor., and a large, open air lounge, with refreshments, Wi-Fi, and USB charging, and laptop plug in outlets in the furniture, which is on the mezzanine level.

2022-05-21No housekeeping services or refilling necessities like toilet paper or soap. If you’re staying for a night it’s fine but they don’t clean the rooms or refill anything you need. At least this is what we were told, however we noticed housekeeping cleaning other rooms. You’ll also be using the same towel during your stay. Our first night, the toilet clogged and we were told maintenance had left and there was nothing they can do. We had to insist we move rooms as we felt the bathroom was a vital part of our stay. Later we overheard staff In the lobby discussing prior plumbing issues in that room. The woman at the front desk did call to say there is a new policy where you have to call in the morning or the day before if you want housekeeping and any toiletries are to be picked up at the front desk. I’d say it’s an important thing to mention to guests upon arrival so they don’t find themselves in the predicament of being on the toilet and out of toilet paper.

2022-03-27Rude Staff at front desk.Me and my husband checked in and we were asked to select either points or $10 food credit. We selected food credit. But the supervisor who checked us in gave us points instead of credit.Next day when I went to have breakfast I was told that we don’t have any credits.Then I told the same thing to my husband and when he went to talk to the Rep she was talking to us Insanely bad. She was treating us like we don’t understand anything. We have been loyal customer with Hilton for more that 6 years and never had such experience.We are definitely not coming back to this place ever Again.Hilton : train your staff to be polite and listen to customers . And listen to what they asked for.We need our credit not the points!HuhhNow coming back to stay: our room had some kind of smell though we selected non smoky room.Carpet was filthy.

2022-05-29YES THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO STAY!!! I wish I could give them more stars, this place is amazing.I was traveling with my spouse and four teenagers, and last minute our flight was changed to a red eye, flying from the west...(not a fan of JetBlue but thats for another review)... So going on one hour of sleep after a long flight, we arrive at Buffalo in the morning. We called for the airport shuttle through the hotel and they gave us clear instructions on how to find it and called for a shuttle to me us. We had no checked bags, so we arrived at the stop within minutes, and found a shuttle there waiting!!Because our flight changed we arrived at the hotel at ten, but check in isnt until 3, they kindly checked to see if our room was available, but sadly it was not. Clearly we were in zombie mode from the red eye, and yet the front desk made us feel at home. She wisked our luggage away safely and invited us to use the lobby, pool, anything while we waited. She showed us to the restaurant inside, for which we were grateful and starving. Most hotels overcharge at their restaurants BUT NOT HERE! The prices were very reasonable, the food was good and the server was over the top kind.After we had breakfast we decided to go to the pool, our teens changed, and they gladly gave us a key card to enter the pool. Half of us swam, the other half fell asleep on the lounge chairs along the pool.I was so tired, I was sleeping, when the lady at the front desk quiet came to wake me to inform me that the room was ready, two hours earlier than expected!!!We crashed in our clean room. The beds were like heaven, and the darkened curtains were amazing!I have stayed at literally hundreds of hotels in my life. The kindness by the staff at this location was one of the best Ive ever experienced, and I would love to stay here again. Like I said, I wish I could give me stars.

2022-05-22The room was fine, the issue is we booked the hotel because we needed a shuttle to the Amtrak station after we dropped off a rental car at a weird hour. It was oked before our reservation, oked again when I arrived at check in and a third time when we checked out. Of course, when it comes time to get the shuttle, we dont service Amtrak well then tell that to all 3 staff members I spoke to

2022-04-26This hotel is what I would expect from my Hilton Garden Inn. Its the standard for the Hilton brand and I have nothing negative to say. Its conveniently located across the street from the Buffalo airport and parking was free however you cant really walk to the airport from here so youll have to park at the airport. Ill definitely stay here again in the future as it was a very good experience

2022-05-28The price was very reasonable, the hotel was very clean, and the staff was always helpful and friendly! It’s also only about half an hour from Niagara if you’re planning on going there.
