I have been in N.Y. for what seems like forever finishing Yankee Stadium. I have stayed in 8 or 10 different hotels. This hotel is my favorite for the money. Clean, friendly, and close to work. The comments about the neighborhood are only true for people from small town america. If you want to see bad... Try the HoJo on Boston Rd... That makes this hotel look like the Ritz. Seriously though. This is a great place. Keep in mind...

This place is a dump! How it earned 3 stars is beyond me. I am not a prude or a tourist ,I am a die hard new Yorker and actually stayed in this hotel when it first opened about ten years ago and at that time I relished in the hideaway location ,convenient onsite parking and clean rooms. But this stay was a disaster. I expected some wear and tear but honestly what I encountered was disturbing. Upon entering the lobby, I was acosted by the VERY pungent odor of marijuana. ( i am here with my family, a.k.a young kids ) next ,I met with the receptionist ,whos attitude was luke- warm at best! I suppose she is exhausted from answering the same questions NO, there is no elevator, YES, you Have to stop by the lobby EVERYDAY of your stay to reprogram your door keys , and Look right there for the wifi code Ugggghhhhh! So then we enter the room and are shocked by its condition. Mystery stains on the discolered ,peeling wallpaper a wardrobe the rocked Back and forth on a slanting floor, a toilet cover propped on the toilet, not attached to anything and enough dirt and grime to warrant complaints from ever member of the familySeriously , the colors and locations of these stains made me pause ,pull out my Lysol spray and spray EVERTHING! I believe wholeheartedly that if anyone ran a blue light over this place it would light up like a Christmas tree.Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! The parking and tucked away location have lost cannot make up for the absolute garbage can that is this hotel !!!!!!!I did however notice after leaving my disgusting room and passing in the hallway past the open door of an adjacent room that at first glance it didbt look as bad as the one I was in. Too bad for me it was on the last day of my stay so I didnt request a room change .

Switched room THREE different times before finding a new place to sleep. All the rooms I saw were very dirty and had the worst odor. All the carpets had gum and other things embedded within. Bedsheets were obviously not cleaned due to the hair and dirt underneath the comforter. If youre looking for a one night place, it would be better to sleep in your car then in one of their beds.

It is a good hotel, it was clean and safe (right next to a police station ) the price was good too. Close to Hwy exit and just 6 miles from the Yankee Stadium. We had a good time.

Good service. Friendly people. Right next to the police station!
My visit was quite pleasant, I arrived at the hotel surrounded by amenities, they made me feel at home from the first moment, the food was quite good and my room comfortable and with good air conditioning. The location makes everything close
