They helped me pretty quickly. But it could be because it was practically empty inside, due to covid. Overall though, Im glad I was just in and out.
Extremely slow. Got there an hour early and still left 2 hrs after my appointment time. They dont know how to pick up their phone either. They gave me a number for rescheduling an appointment and the number wasnt even in service, mind you im in college and cannot make that appointment. This place is purely unprofessional. Employees clearly dont even wanna be there. Everytime i have to come here, Im utterly disappointed. I wish i could give zero stars.
If I could give them zero stars I would! Lazy Workers that rather sit around and chat with one another even if it means to be ghetto and yell across the way from each other. The male workers will stare at your butt in front of you. They never do what they are suppose to do even when you bring in your documents in a timely manner. Make sure you get a reciept that you actually went there for your records because those boogers will have no recollection of you being there in their system. New York is the absolute unorganized and worse place to need public assistance. Thank God this is just temporary!!!
Too slow for no good reason. Frustrated Inept and or disgruntal staff (ghetto/hood). With aggressive, tyronic non diplomatic security/law enforcement. To top it off no wifi. Just a long dragging, nonprogressive process. Thanks to DE Blasio and Andrew Cuomo for your barbaric primative so called helping processe. (highly sarcastic tone). 🤔. And No I Am Not a client.
The city of New York should be ashamed of how they treat mothers and children in their government offices. In no way should a mother be attacked after waiting on the cold dirty floor for assistance with her child in her arms. Hire new security and and train staff to be more compassionate. And how about buy more chairs for your overcrowded facility.
If I could give zero stars I would - I called to ask a simple question and have never been spoken to so rudely before in my life and then the customer service agent hung up on me. Completely unacceptable behavior.
Clear the Voicemail no one can reach any attendant Ever . How are you all helping when u dont even wanna be reached then wonder why the office is so crowded cause most things could be done over the phone..yet thats impossible. MAKE IT AN ACTUALLY PHONE SYSTEM THAT HELPS!!! OR WHATS THE POINT. TO PRETEND!

This place needs to be investigated! The supervisor never calls back anyone regarding their issues.
They send me a letter for recertification I try calling them but no one answers, I read the comment and saw the office is close ima call again if I don’t get no answer they might wanna close my case for their doing this is not fair
I want to thank HRA office on Bergen and the city of New York in general. There are people there who really care(Ms. Frazier, Mr.Adepajou,Mr.Robinson and othera) Thank you very much. I feel grateful for the situation that we went through and all those people play a big part in it. Mr. Valerio from HRA office on Kings County Court on Livingston St as well. They are there to collect a pay check not to help. Their attention to detail is non-existent which causes you to end up going there repeatedly.
One of the worse snap offices, their attitudes are nasty. They lose paper work and dont care. They need a whole new set of workers.

2022-03-22Have a high tolerance for demeaning words if you call anyone from any of these locations. Without fail, Ive dealt with that every time. These people dont want to help you, they just think anyone that needs help is so much less than them.

2021-09-10They really need to get better security. I hate someone sitting at a desk asking me my business from across the room. If I wanted everyone to know Id wear a sign around. Do better security lady!

2021-11-04I had a very good experience. I needed help paying a cut off situation on a bill. I had to wait for my number, went up to the window and had the nicest person to help me. Very satisfied with my experience.

2018-08-20I dont understand why this office is not investigated for their lack of productivity and professionalism. Theyre purposely withholding benefits from people who really need it. This is wrong on so many levels. Show some compassion when dealing with the public. The staff are rude, blatantly lie to your face and will delay inputting your information into the system when youve submitted all your necessary paperwork. Clean up this place and hire more competent customer-service oriented staff.
