The food was phenomenal, traditional home style Italian food.
Great italian restaurant. Cheap, all home cooking, delicious. Two orders of lasagna, an order of roasted peppers, a mixed drink, and a beer. Less than $29! Lasagna was huge and so good!
Went in to see if back room would suit an outing for our employees. 90% of the patrons were old friends, too many of whom bought me beer! Great local in the English or Irish sense of the word.
It was really tight inside but for a old family ranbar/restaurant, it was good. Ppl was nice and talkative
Ive been going to Joes for as long as I can remember. The best way to describe it, its like being in your grandmas kitchen. New owners, but theyve worked there for a while and have really tried to keep things the same. We love Joes!

Joes is one of the best restaurants in Utica. The vodka rigatoni is excellent and it has to be the best sauce i ever tasted. I would definitely recommend Joes to anyone who wants to eat Italian cuisine.

I recently attended a social get together at Joes Restaurant. The food and service was excellent. At present they serve food on Tuesdays and Saturdays and plan to expand their menu. Thank you!!
Very long hot wait for table as first day re-opening. One more waitress and a busboy would REALLY help. Food delish as always. And enough for tomorrows lunch. Will be back there Tuesday !
This is a nostalgic place that goes together with the name of, Utica. The food is good and the prices are better. Its a quick look on what the east Utica Italians feed off of for years. One thing, dont ask for butter.
Small italian menu but what they serve is extraordinary. Sauce is terrific. Great food.
They have great food and cheap prices. Its not going to win awards for interior designer, ambiance or cleanliness but weve been going for years and years. Theres just something about the place.
Excellent really old school Italian neighborhood bar/restaurant with very pocket friendly prices on food and drinks a very unique place& a must try currently only doing food on Tuesday& Saturday but change is coming soon

Place is great Saturdays packed get there early food is amazing Utica greens very watery not my style other than that its a must see staff is very friendly id definitely recommend it
Waited 20 minutes, wasnt acknowledged. Just wanted take-out, so I walked out. Maybe Ill try this place someday when I retire since there is no way for someone who works to come here during their lunch hour.

2021-10-05I got Spaghetti with Meatballs takeout. All I can say is WOW! Its so good! 100% that I will return! Just a heads up, they dont take credit cards, but they do have an ATM you can use.

2021-08-18What a great place. A true neighborhood restaurant. The food is outstanding. We ordered the Sinatra Chicken and lasagna. Also had the Joes greens ang stuffed hot cherry peppers. Everything was absolutely delicious with huge portions. Love this place.
