The back area is closed. They had sour beer and free popcorn. It was chill.
Visited last week with some friends from the area. The vibe was energetic and friendly, the music was generally 90s grunge with some old school hip hop mixed in, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We had a blast and I would recommend you stop by.
Best bar in Astoria. Staff is excellent, very fun vibe. Very happy that they have been able to survive thus far during the pandemic. Come check it out.

Nice bar on 30th Street. Extensive collection 9f beer for $5 in Happy Hours that make a lot of reasons to go during the week. Also, small outdoor space in the back but definitely the best spot is on the front bar checking out people walking by !
This is probably my favorite bar in the neighborhood. Its got great drinks with a very friendly crowd who take over the space on weekends.There is a nice garden too.Drinks are reasonably priced and the bar staff are always friendly
Best spot for a cheap happy hour.Garage bar style, no frills place. Always packed. Still manage quick service. Garage doors open in the front to the outside if its nice, and theres a patio out back, I think, too.They serve fresh popcorn for free and its salty and buttery...so, delicious.They have a touch screen machine that has Photo Hunt and many other games...and that is a really important thing for me at a bar with my friends, haha.We will miss J&P when we move!!!

Great place with a awesome staff of bartenders! A very good selection of craft beers that you will not find at other Astoria bars! Also a 4 hour happy hour, who else does that? You will definitely enjoy yourselves!
I tried this place once and it was ok. Mediocre drinks that are pricey. However, after seeing their lack of being COVID considerate, Im never going back. They let customers stand around in close proximity without requiring or enforcing masks. So loud, disrespectful, rude and has no concern for slowing the spread. Also, tell your customers to stop blocking the walkway outside!!! There are other INNOCENT pedestrians who need to pass and do not need to suffer COVID because of you.
We went with a bunch of friends late last Saturday night. My only issue was the bartenders were extremely picky with what areas of the bar they served. I understand it was a packed Saturday night however, having worked in bars before, I get frustrated when bartenders do not evenly serve all areas of the bar. Took us 15 minutes just to get a drink. The venue itself is great and the music was solid. I will try again when it is less busy.
Has a cool feeling to it. They have a large selection of beers and mixed drinks. There is also a bathtub filled with beer bottles behind the bartender. The bathrooms are unisex and there is a good amount of seating space but could get really busy.
A large bar with a solid draft menu right off of 30th ave offering Tuesday trivia at 8pm. It has an open arrangement and a outdoor area (for the warmer months) making it a perfect place for a spontaneous weeknight hangout if youre in the area.
Im a bit nonplussed about this place, staff are ok, drinks ok.
Happy hour 7 days a week until 8pm 5$ pints and we’ll drinks with beer and shot specials also. Backyard space, free popcorn, friendly bartenders, overall good neighborhood pub.

THE BEST BAR IN ASTORIA HANDS DOWN. The whole staff, especially Colin and Aaron, are so friendly, helpful, and fun. It feels like family in there.
Was there one time for a drink recently! Did notice a younger crowd there than me! Pleasant young lady bartender and didnt have to explain Grand Marnier just with or without ice!

2021-05-03Judy and punch is the perfect bar for a low key night with friends. Their happy hour is the best on 30th ave ($5 for select beers, wines, and well drinks) and the bartenders are friendly.I love going here to start the night or just to have a few rounds with friends.

Ive gone here a couple of times and the bartenders, namely Colin, are so friendly and will serve us quickly and strike up a great conversation. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean. Theres popcorn, too.
