We had Julia Valler provide bartenders for our firms Holiday Party. Geneva and Dewight were fantastic. They were attentive, accommodating and helped ensure a fun night for all. They even gave some fantastic advice for planning our next party! Ill definitely be using them for future events!
I called Julia Valler Events last minute on a weekend and actually got someone on the phone… immediately. How often can you actually reach a live person anymore?!!From the first phone call to the final invoice everyone I spoke to, and worked with, we’re incredibly professional and courtesy. Julia Valler staffing was tremendous.Very responsive, flexible and able to help with furniture rental for a party from a third party vendor in addition to staffing needs. Our party was small and we only needed 1 server for 5 hours and they were able to make it all work.

It was an absolute pleasure working with JV and their staff. The captain and the team were awesome. The captain reached out to let me know hed like to do a walkthrough in advance of the staff call time, showed up early to get the lay of the land, and went above and beyond in terms of preparation.The staff helped us with finishing touches on the event (getting the coat rack put together, figuring out trays and cutting supplies, the like), and felt incredibly well-directed by the captain throughout set up and the entire event, including tear-down and pack up. By the time I checked in on the kitchen (where they were stationed), they were nearly done tidying and returning it to how it was before.They also proactively took care of our trash/recycling, and were all around incredibly respectful and easy going. The guests even made comments about how lovely they were! Also, the owner of the company the event was for made note that she has rarely hosted anything where there are zero empty glasses in her line of sight, and that the JV team was constantly proactive about clearing things out of the gallery /event space.
Sena, the direct POC is absolutely lovely and wonderful to work with from start to finish. Her care and professionalism is astoundingly impressive. The staff, on event day was professional, autonomous, efficient and the guests loved them. Wed love to work with Julia Valler Event Staffing again in the future!
I am a former employee for this company. Terrible place of business. There is an excessive amount of corruption that happens behind the scenes. Julia Valler often staffs workers at the 1 Hotel - Brooklyn Bridge. Clients would often have their weddings, bat mitzvahs, etc, here and servers like myself would not be given any tips from the client that is having their special occasions there. That is because Julia Valler would lie to their employees about clients not giving them any tips for their workers. This is outrageous and extremely false as all clients would give tips for event workers and this is coming from someone who has been in the catering industry for well over nine years. Julia Valler would in essence embezzle their employees tips through this way. This is grounds for immediate legal actions to eventuate. They blatantly show that they discriminate in the individuals they staff at events. The majority of the individuals they hire are people of Brazilian or Russian descent. The other individuals like myself who are not of these two types of descent do not get enough working opportunity since they have their favorites to staff events. I will not go into names for the sake of anonymity, but a male worker got fired after he complained a woman worker, who had more authority than him (being a team leader rather than just a server like the male worker) had harassed him. This is wrongful termination. If you are a client and are fine with these type of toxic ways that occur, then by all means have Julia Valler staff your event. Otherwise, Id recommend finding another staffing agency that does not prioritize certain races/descent over others.

I turned to Julia Valler Staffing when I needed professional staff for an important event. I cannot be more satisfied with the service provided from start to finish. From first contact, our account manager, Nanci, was very attentive, detail oriented and helpful. She made the whole process of booking staff seamless, fast and easy and made sure to answer any questions I had. Henry, our bartender, was a joy to work with. Very professional and experienced, friendly and active during the whole event. He took measures to make sure all the guests had everything they need and went above and beyond all expectations. Our guests were all delighted with the service, I felt relaxed and at ease and everyone had a wonderful time. All in all, the whole experience of working with Julia Valler and her team has been a pleasure. I know I will turn to them the next time I need staffing and would recommend to all.

Julia Valler is the only staffing agency we could ever need! Their rates are reasonable, their servers/bartenders are fantastic and their customer service CANNOT BE BEAT! Charmaine, our account manager, is an absolute rock star (literally, I emailed at 11pm on the Saturday before Easter, needing a server for Sunday afternoon with a very specific skillset! She came through immediately!) Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this staffing agency for any event. I utilized their services for a private event in a nyc home requiring a bartender and servers walking food. Julia Valler provided our team with 3 bartenders and 1 coat check attendant for our annual holiday party of 250 guests. All four women were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were able to learn their way around our office quickly, manage supplies, keep a neat bar and coat area, and interact with our guests in a friendly manner. Julia Valler agency provided us with 15 male models for my exhibition performance. The agency offered us a great selection of male models. All the models arrived on time, dressed in black like we requested. They were very professional and friendly all the day. I was very happy with their service and will use them for future projects.

I own an event planning company. We always have trepidation hiring staff from a third party. Julia Valler Staffing sent wonderful, clean cut, dependable and experienced staff. No one would have ever known they were from a staffing company. We will use them again for certain. We recommend them without reservation.
Requested 2 Bartenders and 2 Bussers for a last minute (under 24 hours) house party and I must say that I was absolutely blown away by the level of professionalism, integrity and genuine eagerness each staff member had to help and make sure everything was a success. Super attentive staff, from the account exec who initially contacted me, Charmaine to the staff that provided the services for our event. They were absolutely great and very professional. I will definitely use them in the future. They are higher end, so $$$ higher than others but worth it.

2022-06-22This staffing company could not have done any better. We had a business party of 300-400 people on a Saturday night and have never used a staffing company for a party before. Every single employee was attentive, kind, intelligent, and on the ball! It put our entire company at ease and it was so wonderful to kick back at our own party & enjoy. We will be hiring them every party forever now. Special shout out to Alejandro, the staff captain, for jumping ahead and helping me navigate all sudden decisions that needed to be made for the party. Another great part was coming back to work Monday morning and everything we rented being in a neat stack and clean. I really appreciated them all going above and beyond in all the ways. 2022-08-23We recently hired an event captain via Julia Valler this past Saturday and our event went extremely well!Charles (the event captain) was an absolute star, he really went above and beyond and he dazzled both myself and my husband and all of our guests. 2022-03-14I contacted Julia Valler to arrange for staff to help with my wifes surprise 40th birthday.From the very onset, the team at Julia Valler were absolutely on it. Communication was very easy and the manager, Victoria, who was my dedicated point of contact from start to finish was simply spot on. She was incredibly responsive and made me feel completely at ease not doing this type of thing often. Victoria went to great lengths to understand my needs and helped organize glasswear from a third party supplier and co-ordinated all pick ups and arrivals.The event staff themselves, Fabian and Pedro were simply fantastic. I had so many compliments throughout the evening as to how attentive and professional they were. Even though the event ran 30 minutes past its booked time, Pedro and Fabian were more than happy to stay on to support.I cannot endorse the whole team at Julia Valler enough. They were absolute rockstars and I would use them again without a second thought.A humble thank you!!
