Wanted to share about my experience….I ran into an issue and the customer service to help and resolve my problem was outstanding, efficient and prompt!The offerings on this site are above and beyond fantastic and fun!Take time to take a look and do some shopping
The owners are excellent. They asked me straightaway what I needed when I entered the store and got a staff to assist me. Very extensive selection of polycarbonate molds. The store is huge so they have a wide array of other baking/candy making equipment and tools. The staff helped pick out the molds on my list (you can check on their online store) and when I was done they allowed me to deliver to an address plus use an online promo code. What great service!
I love Kerekes! I love supporting you all the way from California. Its cheaper for me to buy from you and pay expedited shipping than using Amazon (when i have a rush order and cant take advantage of the free shipping)! Great selection, great prices and great service! Thank you so much!

Huge store full of baking equipment and ingredients located in Brooklyn, NY. There is a huge selection to chose from that i literally feel like a kid in a candy store. Just need to be careful about hecsherim because some of the product have bad hechsheirim or no hechsher at all.
What a breath of fresh air. I recently found Kerekes/Bakedeco on the Internet & purchased a number of Kosher Cook items from them. Id previously enquired about Kosher Cook Stockists in Brooklyn from Ner Mitzah (Kosher Cooks parent company) & received no reply whatsoever. Kerekes have a great real time enquiry service & Sara was amazing, she helped me put together my International Order to Australia. Kerekes customer service makes you feel like youre a member of their family ..... more than just a customer. Ner Mitzah should take note: this is how people want to be treated by people who were buying from & not treated with contempt ! I will most certainly be doing business with Kerekes in the future.
High quality items, it might be more expensive but you can definitely find unique items and some good prices for some items. Personal and professional customer service. Highly recommended
I visited the shop for the first time a week ago. I am a private chef and baker and was blown away with my experience. Not only does the store carry an excellent selection of products the customer service was 5 star. Everyone I came into contact with was very professional, friendly and able to assist. I have recommended the store to several colleagues and will continue to do so.
Today was my 1st visit there. Miri was so sweet and patient with all my questions. She made excellent suggestions as well. So glad I found them as my former supplier has disappointed one too many times. Isaac behind the register was also as nice as can be. Their mail order is also quite speedy. Ill be a regular. Great experience here. Prices are amazing, everything a baker could wish for. As I walked around I became more and more impressed with what they had. So much variety of colors and everything you’d need. However, staff let multiple customers in the store without a mask, and I’m saying no mask at all, not even in hand. There were also staff with no masks, but a sign outside that said they were required. Walked out spending well over $200 and will be going back. I just wish they would be more cautious during these times and take things more seriously.
The prices are great for items, but be absolutely 100% sure you have ordered the correct item. If you need to return an item, it is a difficult process. After I returned an item, I was told I could not get my money returned because the item had been used. It had not. I returned the item because it did not fit on my food processor; wrong model. I was told “for a fee” I could get the already paid for item shipped back to me. Never again. It is not worth the pennies saved.

If I could give BakeDeco more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Im a chocolatier from Costa Rica and buying from overseas is always a bit nerve-wracking since you never know how well the items are gonna be packed or if all things will come to you, yet with BakeDeco Ive never had a problem before. Their customer service is superior and they are always super helpful, its almost unbelievable hahaha! Out of all other providers, BakeDeco is by faaaar the best one. I mean, I just received 133 molds perfectly packaged and will continue doing business with them for sure. Keep the awesome work!!!

I made a mistake with my order and they responded quickly and were so helpful in sorting it out for me.
Their prices and variety of products are good. Shipping is quick. But twice, on one order, they sent me a shipment which, according to the packing list, included items from my order that werent actually included. So if youre looking for a lottery type experience on whether or not you will actually receive what you ordered, this is the place!
The staff on the floor were super helpful and kind. The store is beautifully well stocked. Parking available right across the street. I wish theyd limit the number of customers in the shop at a time. It was way too crowded and staff behind the counter were not wearing masks.
They sent an open and defective item, I was promised a full refund but they refunded a partial amount without notifying me. When I tried to contact the said it was a restocking fee which was not explained when the return authorization was given. I sent few emails and they dont even bothered to replay. This is the worst customer service I experienced in my life. Be careful to spend your money here. I DO NOT RECOMMAND TO PURCHASE EXPENSIVE ITEMS HERE. I lost $450 !!!
Not a bad company. but they do not support any equipment warranties. they will require you to contact company who made the equipment in order to receive a refund on malfunctioning equipment. be careful what you buy.
Visited Kerekes after googling an alternative to NY CAKE in the city since it’s closed for renovation. I’m so happy I found this place, such a different experience from the terrible service at NY CAKE. Customer service was awesome and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The place is huge, clean and organized. Fully stocked with all essentials for catering and baking. I was pleasantly surprised. NY Cake can learn a lot from this place. Customer service matters.My only concern is I work in the city, so the store hours are inconvenient, closes at 6pm and closed on weekends. This means I will have to leave work early when I need supplies since it’s a bit far out and that may be difficult to do. Either way I can appreciate good business, and this is one of them.
I live in Alaska and finding products that ship within the same year for less than a months salary can be a challenge!Thankfully, through a simple google search, I finally found a sleeve assembly for my wifes food processor here but had little hope it was going to be affordable, when shipping was calculated.When all was said and done, I paid a very reasonable price for the product, and although it didnt ship for free, it only cost me 3.99! AND, yes theres a little more, it has already been shipped, the day after I ordered it!!!Couldnt be happier with my first experience! This will now be my first stop if I am in need of any kitchen supplies in the future!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Being a chef, I like the wide line of products, prices and particularly the customer service.Lately has not been easy to find companies that you can contact with nice and professional people which makes easier to make decisions and choose products.
UPDATE #2: It is coming up on 4 months and I still do not have my Americolor food colors, cake boards and pan that I purchased and PAID for. I have just ask for a refund for those products. I will see what happens. I purchased my Americolor straight from Americolor and received them in 3 days. Hence, no supply shortage for being out of stock for 4 months. This company has used my money for 4 months without restocking their supplies. FYI...I am not one to write reviews, this may be the first one I have ever written. I am typically a very patient person, but my patience for this company has run dry.UPDATE: I finally received my cake boards about 2 weeks ago. However, I still have not received several bottles of Americolor food coloring. Still unacceptable!!! Once again, I have had to order from another supplier while Bake Deco has charged my credit card and used my money for almost 3 months.I ordered online on Feb 11 and it is Mar 12 and have yet to receive my whole order. I just inquired about when the rest of my order will ship and was told the cake boards, which I need, will not be in until the end of the month and the Americolor food coloring has no ETA. If you are ordering and NEED your order in a reasonable time frame, do not order from here....it takes forever to get your order. Now I am forced to buy cake boards from another supplier while I wait on the ones that have already been applied to my credit card and I have already paid for. I will be looking into an new supplier.
Horrible customer service. Was in dire need of our equipment which we expressed and they didn’t do much to push it through. Bad communication, no follow up, no tracking info provided when we were told there would be, etc. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This has to be one of the rudest companies I dealt with in a long time I called to ask a question about a wholesale order and the lady on the phone was extremely rude extremely short and very snappy she quickly blurted out her response and hung up the phone on me when I did as they said and sent an email to the sales department nobody responded for 4 days finally I had to call them back and was able to get a response through email but even through the email they were extremely rude to me I dont know why they think its OK to treat people with disrespect and talk down to them but they do and its not ok with out your customers you are nothing and this business needs to start treating people with respect

The kitchenware is dirty from being stored without covering and very dusty. The staff is rude and mean even from Brooklyn standards. The place is filthy. I saw numerous roaches there so wash equipment throughly if you buy here. This company thinks it has a lock on this industry so they treat their customers like garbage and the owners treat their staff like garbage too. For your equipment needs try one of the other boroughs or even New Jersey. Show them what you think of stores that take people for granted.

Im not the type of person that orders things on line. I like seeing and feeling the products I will purchase so that I know I am getting quality, professional grade products. The staff are kind and helpful. The gentleman that helped me let me use their wifi so I can access the products I saw on their website ( I made a list on their website. I was going to order online but changed my mind beccause I wanted to see what other products they carried)Great customer service. I felt like they had all professional cookware needs. I went in there looking for Baba rum silicone molds. I walked out of there with other items as well. Their prices are awesome compared to a restaurant supply store thats closer to me. They have their own little parking space lot, but limited to about I think 6-8 passenger vehicles. Get there early, and youll be able to get a spot.
How did I ever miss this store? This place has just about everything/anything you need for your kitchen. From kitchen supplies, cooking supplies, baking, food storage, knives, baking pan, pizza trays, this places has just about everything you need. Prices are nearly at wholesale prices. MUCH cheaper than amazon for the same items. Store is very organized and clean. Staff very helpful with questions!

I ordered a set of knives almost a month ago. My payment was processed weeks ago, but I haven’t received the knives. I see a lot of people reporting the same thing and having difficulty getting refunded, so I’m going to file a fraud chargeback with my bank and let them get the money back for me. Just wanted to add another warning to the list. Hopefully people read the Google reviews sorted low to high before getting scammed by this site.
They took my money on May 11th, 2020, but still havent seen any part of my order. Was told at the time some of it was backordered, but the rest would ship. *I* finally emailed them after hearing nothing from them and there is still no tracking info. Seems like they were just going to steal my money if I didnt reach out and try to get it sorted. Disappointing experience and still no tools after two weeks.
So glad I found this site! Needed a non-stick mini cheescake pan next day and they delivered! They have products I cant find anywhere locally anymore! Online Customer service was great! Will be ordering from them again!

Placed first and last order from this company. The image and description indicate its a 3 piece set. I did not receive the confirmation email for my purchase, so I went back to the website to double check it had processed. The description was different and indicated just one container. I contacted the company and they showed me an image of a completely different page. I explained that was not the page Id seen nor followed when I completed my order. The representative say it could be really confusing, but that was the extent of his assistance (other than posting another image of the page I did not use). So if you visit this website, make very certain what you think youre ordering is what your actually going to get.
I have to write a review for Kerekes since I wrote a negative review for one of its competitors. I LOVE going here even though it is literally in the middle of no where. I am a home baker who went to pastry school at one of the top Culinary Arts schools and my instructors also teach here, so I gave this place a try and from the first time I stepped in, I was amazed at the selection. The workers there are knowledgeable; they know their stuff and if they dont there is someone who works there that can help you...as much as they can. They are very honest and allow returns, unlike their competitor in Manhattan, which is also overpriced. Kerekes prices are reasonable, and their workers will come up to you and ask if you need help. Keep in mind, this is a Jewish owned company and although I was disappointed in their hours at first, I have grown to understand that I actually like it, because I feel like the Jewish community may actually be the one community that value their family time, which includes their Jewish lifestyle. These days people are so caught up in making money, they dont make time for family and spending time together. A majority of their staff are Mexican/Hispanic and it allows for these men who work there to spend time with their family....I mean, I hope thats the case at least...anyway, If you want quality customer service, go to Kerekes.
Absolutely amazing. One could spend hours here. Friendly staff, great products and proceed very well. Had exactly what I needed (and more). Complimentary parking lot across the street is a major bonus.

Stay Away!!! Crooked Seller. I ordered a $10.00 gear and paid $19.41 extra for day one delivery. I bought and paid for it immediately. I have left many shipping emails, Chat Calls, etc..........and cannot get a response or my money returned. I am going to file a formal complaint with the Chamber of Commerce. Totally Unreliable and Poor Selling and Poor Customer Seller. I hope they enjoy my money$$$ as everything that goes around comes back around. You cheat me, then you will be cheated.

I bake bread in SC and my husbands family lives in NY. On our family vacation this year we made it a point to visit a bread supply shop so that I could go in and see and touch things for myself. Ordering online is not the same as buying in real life. I have never seen anything like this store- even in SC! I was greeted as soon as I walked in by several employees, I was actually set up with an employee that walked me around to help me locate the things I needed and answered any questions that I had. If that employee couldnt answer my question or locate a product- he asked another employee or handed me off to another employee. I bought a professional mixer cheaper than I could get it anywhere else, I got the products that I needed and got some extras from the used section. I was blown away with the customer service and the product selection. I left the store a satisfied customer and I will now feel secure ordering from them online!

I absolutely adore Kerekes it’s a decorators delight. They have pretty much everything including a used section where you can find awesome cake pans used at cake shops.
Sell a lot of shiny metal, polished wood, plenty of help to direct you to the proper aisle, cook with technology and comfort. Dream about food, look for hardware, buy quality goods. Why not?
They have everything here. Its actually a bit overwhelming because you dont know where to start. My first time here I went for just a few things. Planned on spending not more than $40 left after spending almost $100. Staff is super friendly and helpful

2022-06-07I placed an order for cake decorating tools a little over a week ago. I ordered, hoping the items would arrive before a July cake order. I am in Canada, ordering from New York. 2022-02-24This is the only place Ill be shopping for cake and pastry equipment from here on out. Two days ago, I ordered a lot of pans and tools for a wedding cake, and it qualified for free shipping. The box showed up today, beautifully and efficiently packaged! The amazing shipping speed gives me more time to plan!Before ordering, I also had to ask them specific questions about which food colorings would be compatible with which icing types. I received a prompt email with clear guidance, so I was able to order ingredients that would produce the results I need.

Packaging is amazing and one of my favorite - they have online chat available if you have some questions, real time help.. 2022-03-21I had spent many hours through out several days in search of cake boxes and it wasnt unitil I got in touch with Kerekes Bakery that I was able to order and have someone with excellent A+ customer service skills, that took care of me from beginning to end, step by step from quoting to payment. 2022-07-18Ive shopped here for years and never had any problems at all with my orders, but on my most recent order, I had a slight problem. These things happen, what matters to me is how a company responds when there is a problem, and Kerekes/BakeDeco responded perfectly! Sara was incredibly helpful and patient in figuring out what had happened with my order, and really went above and beyond to get it resolved. Youre in good hands when you order from Kerekes/BakeDeco!

2022-04-11I ordered several sprinkles for my boys Easter cookies and the Spring Green sprinkles came to me yellowish. I sent a chat on Sunday and by Monday, Sara Menes chatted me back to ask for me to send the picture and invoice number. I did and it looks like their inventory may have yellowish product for their Spring Green sprinkles so she immediately credited my account. Now that is great customer service and instant responses to concerns. I will be doing more shopping with this company going forward:). Happy Customer!!!

2022-07-14In the old days, I lived in Brooklyn, and was pastry chef at pretentious NYC restaurants. I bought stuff at Kerekes. They had good stuff at reasonable prices. In 1980, I moved to California, and with a little care some of the stuff I bought at Kerekes lasted being a partner in restaurants, a hotel, a motel, and 30 years of cooking for my wife. Circa 1980, we were using cranked metal rollers to “hand roll” pasta at a “good” steak house. It was as good as the commercial fresh pasta. Along the way, I learned that egg pasta rolled on a wooden board with a wooden rolling pin was much better, (and about as fast). I would make nice sheets, roll them up, and slice them with a knife. I saw Kerekes advertisements for wooden grooved rolling pins that would cut (fettuccine). I remembered that the Italians developed tremendous wood turning skills related to making equipment for textiles. The grooved rolling pins were inexpensive, so I ordered one from Kerekes. There was a bit of a hiccup in the order, but Kerekes delivered excellent customer service on a very low-cost item. Two things I learned from this experience are 1) Kerekes is still a place to go when you need good customer service and nobody else seems to have the inventory, 2) Pasta rolled on a wooden board with a wooden rolling pin, and cut with grooved “rolling pin” is the best pasta I know how to make. My wife is famous for her Bolognaise sauce, and she says it is the best pasta she has ever eaten.Good tools make a difference.

2020-01-06A professional chefs and home cooks place for cooking and restaurant equipment of all sorts for purchase. The staff are friendly, and willing to help and assist. Extra kudos for an available restroom for public use. While far away from the city, the store of fortunately close to the subway station. A wonderland full of great gems!
