This is one of the best La Quintas I have stayed in. I stayed in a deluxe room for three days and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a good size area to walk your dog and it was clean!! There are ample outlets and even USB ports in the outlet to charge tablets and phones. The staff was excellent, breakfast was good, and it was easy access to I87. This is my new hotel to stay in when travel to the Albany area.
OMG Dont get me wrong I have reviewed multiple different hotels and other types of businesses and let me tell you this place is definitely getting the rare occasion of a 5 star review the room we stayed in was the king suite with the accessibility and I had a living room area with a pull-out but the room was very up-to-date modern not your run of the mill cookie cutter 1990s style like some of these places still are doing LOL and the staff at the front desk this one girl was the only one that we had seen upon checking in and later that evening on our way to the hot tub but the customer service from her was wonderful she was very nice and try to make our stay the best it could be.. the only thing I did not care for is we went during winter break last weekend I think or last week sometime and the whole entire time from check in until the pool and hot tub are shut down for the night three families with very out of control young kids made it absolutely impossible to utilize the pool whatsoever and sadly to say the hot tub we only had about 5 6 minutes in and that was mainly because we walked right over when there was a couple with a little baby that couldnt be more than two years old which I dont think she should even be in those temps finally were getting ready to head out since the pool was going to be closing in 10 minutes
While the rooms and facility were clean, i found the lady i came to know as Paula to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL person in authority I have ever encountered and because of her conduct, i am certain my husband and I will neither frequent nor refer anyone to lodge at this hotel. More specifically, my friends and I overheard her discussing her staff in very inappropriate ways! It saddens me that people like her are managers and supervisors!! Clearly, she had that position because of WHO she knows and NOT because of what she knows!!! We, collectively, found her conduct to be egregious and at a minimum and therefore may reach out to the staff we overheard her discussing provide details about so that they can file an official complaint against her and use my friends and me as a witness in a lawsuit!!
Really great hotel.Fairly new and very upscale.Be warned that Google maps might take you through another entrance trying to get to the hotel from the back which is not accessible.Staff was very courteous, room was spotless and very nice.We got a good nights sleep before a long flight.I would definitely stay here again.
Positive: The hotel itself is great. Clean, well maintained and a nice breakfast. Staff were amazing and nice. Negative: We had extremely loud people on the 3rd floor on 7/3. They were drunk and loud until about 2 am. Thats not something the hotel can control but it made our stay somewhat unpleasant in that regard. It was hard because my child was kept awake until 12.
This was a really nice La Quinta. It was clean and saw no evidence of hair and the linens smelled fresh. My only complaint would be the backwards shower. Had to get in to turn the water on! The water pressure was weak but we were also on the 4th floor. I would stay here again if in the area.
Honestly, considering it is a 2 star Hotell, its better than 5 🌟 Hotels I have been in. The price for what you get is Beautiful. The rooms clean and neat, cozy yet big enough and the walls are well sound proof. The gym and pool were great. The staff are very present. I had a wonderful experience. God Bless!
We had to stay at La Quinta for two months to be exact, while waiting for a closing on our home purchase, I could not have asked for a more pleasurable and comfortable experience ! the staff goes beyond expectations, keeping the hotel clean, and guests happy, we had our dog with us, and she was so loved by the staff, got treated to cookies on a daily basis, Its important to us to have a place you can stay where you feel safe and comfortable, and that place is La Quinta in Clifton Park! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay..... to you ALL
Very nice hotel, only 2 1/2 years old. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a nice buffet. My only complaint; the bed was to hard and the pillows to soft. Great location, near everything.UPDATE: August 22, 2020. We had 2 very noisy rooms across from us on Saturday night, and called the front desk for help. The first call my wife spoke to someone but no action. She tried calling SIX more times with no answer.I finally got all DAD on these kids and told them to stop running in the hall and slamming the doors. They looked mortified as did the girl who came out to see what was going on and got them into their rooms for the rest of the night. The next morning I was told they were causing trouble the night before as well and had thankfully checked out.Pam on the front desk spoke to the general manager and we got a 50% discount on the night for the trouble. That is how to keep a customer.Next time Im bringing my own firm pillow, theirs are way to soft. This bed seemed softer than the last one. The shower was nice though the pressure was very low.UPDATE August 26, 2021: Because of the problems we had on the 2020 visit, GM Stella gave us a special rate, which she said she would do again in the future. The breakfast area is open with the normal eggs, sausage, fruit cups, orange and apples. They have the regular selection of English muffins, bread and packaged bagels. The coffee is very good, and the offer very good orange juice as well. If you want housekeeping services, you must request it. We will definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel with a fun purple accent wall in the room. Hotel staff was decently friendly, but gave the overall impression of being a fledgling crew. I was pretty upset that I was given EXTREMELY loud neighbors with a dog at 2am. With a hotel that empty I dont understand why they wouldnt at least skip every other room, especially with COVID.Unfortunately, my bathroom wasnt cleaned very well from the previous guest.
Our room was very neat & clean when we checked in on midnight on friday. The staff was very attentive to us, very friendly with our dog & overall it was a pleasant trip. i like how the breakfast was individually wrapped due to covid. Their market downstairs was always stocked, and for a place that allows dogs, they did a very good job at maintaining it nice and clean. thankyou for a pleasant stay there! i look forward to coming again
Our sheets, pillow cases and comforter had dog hair all over it when we got to our room! When I had told the front desk that gave me sheets and pillow cases to change them myself. When I changed them the mattress cover was filled with human hair and pet hair. They must have not changed that for awhile. It was absolutely disgusting! NEVER STAYING AT A LAQUINTA EVER AGAIN!
I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are modern, nicely appointed and extremely comfortable. Pillow top mattresses and nice soft pillows are important when I stay somewhere for two straight weeks. They put all the pet friendly rooms on the second floor which is a great idea. They have a nice pet area outside too. Lots of amenities for a hotel so moderately priced. Great coffee. Staff is very nice. Very quiet too! Ill definitely stay here again. I stayed at the Holiday Inn up the street before and this hotel is much better. Its been an amazing stay!
Outstanding quality. Theres little difference between this and a standard brand name hotel like Hilton or Sheraton. The only difference is location, lack of glasses (just plastic cups), and a price. They are terrific with their pet policy. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. Clean and comfortable.
The room and the hotel in general was spotless. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. My only slightly negtive comment is that there was no hot breakfast offered. I have stayed at other La Quintas recently where eggs, bacon and/or sausage were offered if the guest notified the staff prior to going to the breakfast area. The eggs, meat and a buscuit were individually wrapped and bagged for the guest... a nice touch and much appreciated.
A wonderful staff. Clean rooms and very good breakfast. I will be back. A couple of design misses. No light over the coffee bar area and the shower door should have been set for easy access to turn the water on without getting hit with cold water. Comfortable beds but pillows need some work. Flat flat flat. The staff was wonderful in getting me a foam one but really not that much better.
Room was comfortable & clean. The staff was very attentive and upbeat. The grounds were well maintained. Very dog friendly. There was a large outside area dedicated for dog use. The breakfast was ok. Well maintained and the area was clean, but the selection was slightly lacking. I would have liked to see some more things (ie- better selection of fresh fruit). Overall the hotel was very nice and we would 100% return.
We loved our 2-night stay at the La Quinta. We had 2 adults, 3 kids (ages 7, 5, 2), and 1 poodle and fit comfortably in our room. The layout of the room was great and the decor is beautiful. The entire hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. My husband had work in Albany so the kids and I spent all our time in the pool area, which was a huge hit. The pool is perfect for young children with the easy entry stairs. The breakfast was good, typical of what you would expect of a hotel. Coffee/tea and water infused w/fruit is available 24/7. This was our first hotel stay with our dog and they were very “pet friendly” and accommodating. We will definitely be back again soon!
My family stad there and I had money stolen from my room by a girl named Paula that is not what I call Hospitality I call that wrong And Ill never stay in one of your hotels again Definitely will not Anybody I know I will recommend not to stay there Especially if they want to keep their money Or personal belongings
The absolute BEST hotel that my husband and I have stayed at. I don’t even know where to begin! Upon entry, it smells sooo clean, and looks even cleaner. Everything looks new and inviting. The ladies at the front desk, Michelle and Stephanie, were THE NICEST women ever! They were SUPERRRRR sweet, kind, helpful, caring, passionate....I can keep going. They were so quick to help my husband and I when we came across an issue in our room, and even when we checked out and I left an item behind. The rooms themselves were updated, clean, and cozy...like a mini house away from home. After a 6 hour drive, this was the best thing that we could’ve asked for...stress free check in and the absolute best customer service. Thank you so much ladies and La Quinta, this will not be your last time seeing us 😁❤️.
Amazing place! Stayed here on the way home from an extended trip. They allowed us to park our vehicle in front of the main doors where it was in eyesight of the front desk because of the kayaks on the roof. Rooms were clean and staff was amazing. La quinta and Marriott hotels are the only ones I can truly recommend!
The accommodation were clean and inviting. Room was very large and bathroom was clean and had a tub. The pool was small but nice. There is a outside patio behind the pool, great for getting a little sun. Breakfast was plentiful with waffles, hotel eggs, cereals, pastries, juice and coffee (instant from a machine)The staff was super friendly and helpful. This is a pet friendly hotel, thats perfect for us.The only negative is the noise the doors make. They have extremely heavy duty loud push bars. They close (slam) loudly as well and our first night sleep was difficult due to people coming in and out of the building all night long.Of you get a room here just ask for one far from an outside entry and the noise wont be a problem. We would definitely use this hotel again.
I cant say enough about this hotel. The staff is amazing, Theresa, Brian, and a nice young girl who was pregnant (sorry didnt get her name) were a few I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay. Clean inside and out and youd never know it is pet friendly. My stay here was like I was at home and at that time its exactly what I needed. I could go on and on. Best place Ive been to hands down! Your wont be disappointed... Breakfast is great to!****To the staff and manger thank you for all you did for me and my family during a difficult time in our lives yous are truly angels in our eyes.
Beautiful modern-looking building with well maintained parking lot. Friendly reception staff. As you might expect, they had a sign in front of the reception counter to maintain social distance; there was a small desk in front of the reception counter with hand sanitizer, a container for used room keys, a spot for pens, and such. They still asked for your ID and CC, and asked for your vehicle information. Very clean surroundings. The deluxe King bed room itself was well-appointed with a sofa, laptop desk, flat screen TV in the wall. By the bed was a nice find: two USB ports the bedside clock. By the bathroom was a small refrigerator and a mini microwave. The bathroom was clean, well-lit, and we just have no complaints whatsoever.
Great hotel! Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is great! Room rates are fair. Breakfast is typical continental breakfast. Waffles are the best. I’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely stay here again. Close to many great restaurants , shopping, movie theater, and highway. Parking lot is lighted well and area seems to be safe. Keep up the 5 star service.
The manager, Stela Koeva, is terrific. She is professional, knowledgeable, effective communicator, pleasant, and resolves questions or concerns quickly & with ease. Stela is a hard worker, dedicated to excellence & strives daily to provide 100% satisfaction to all of the guests. Stela is a hands-on manager. She sets her goals high and requests her staff follow her lead. All employees at the front desk are very friendly & professional. The front desk manager, Pam, is excellent too. Pam assists guests willingly to rectify their numerous inquiries. Pam does great job communicating professionally to guests. Housekeeping is wonderful. Rooms are clean!! Plus this hotel is Pet Friendly. Our children enjoyed this hotel. Its close to restaurants, banks, shopping, etc. Free breakfast (currently limited due to Covid guidelines) free computer center, free wifi, inviting indoor pool & fitness gym are extra perks of this well managed hotel. Stela Koeva has very good work ethics which is why this hotel continually receives the highest rating of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The hotel was easy to find and the perfect location for my conference. The bed was perfect and the room looked new and clean, really it was spotless. As for the service... The breakfast attendant offered homemade waffle batter with apple chunks. AND she cleared our plates! I travel four times a year up and down the east coast and this was the best service Ive ever had.
Overall the hotel stay was good. Its a new hotel, so its clean and has decent amenities like USB ports throughout the room. The staff was nice as well. The breakfast options were standard and basic - cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, etc. No complaints really.
I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the Capital District. The location is great and great customer service!I visited several hotel properties in the Capital District to determine which one we wanted to use for our son’s wedding block. It was an easy decision once we met the staff and toured the hotel to see what they had to offer. The La Quinta Inn at Clifton Park is less than a year old and it is lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the area that is used for breakfast can be used as a gathering place for family and friends after breakfast time. The pool is a nice size and everything is very clean and neat.Peter, the GM and Teresa, Asst. GM, were so great to work with and took all our special requests in stride. Allowing us to have a dinner for out of town guests in their meeting room, early check in for one of the guests and all the staff were pleasant and helpful, which tells me the culture of this hotel is customer service oriented.
Modern hotel. very friendly front desk staff. I asked for some extra plates and utensils and she was more than happy to get them. basic gym equipment within a large fitness room is enough for basic workout and room/equipment for yoga. The single room was very large. Modern furnished and cozy with king size bed, mini fridge/freezer, microwave. Cleaned very well everyday (I work with concrete so this is huge). Would recommend this hotel day and night. Thats before the price being great as well.
My wife and I stayed here recently and it was a very nice experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. They have a nice breakfast that even has gluten free waffles (made on a separate waffle iron in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination) which really made my morning. If youre looking for a place near Albany or Saratoga thats affordable look no further.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are impeccably clean. Staff are beyond friendly and accommodating! This is a great hotel for families, professionals and someone just swinging through. The price is even better! The breakfast is far better than any other La Quinta Inn. Katie, at the front desk, is SUPER helpful, bright and cheerful and an amazing asset to your staff! We are very impressed with the hotel! We will definitely be booking at this establishment again!
Stayed here for s 12 days. This is the first hotel I ever stay in USA, so nothing to compare. However, room was clean, modern and cozy. Wifi was strong, free parking, pool and gym.Still two options I do not really liked:1. The same breakfast every morning. Maybe it is good if you are about to stay there for 1-3 days, but for 12.... I hated that eggs with sausages...2. Very noisy Air Conditioning. I was able to hear it from other room every night and day.
We stayed several days at the Quinta. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is beautiful and looks new but there seems to be a lack of maintenance. In our room, for example, there was hair under the sheets, a hole in the wall that was badly repaired or the curtain broken. We travel often and have visited several hotels. I think the hotel should make more of an environmental effort. At lunch, for example, each person tosses a cup used to make a waffle. Often in other hotels there is a washable and reusable container. The same goes for utensils which are often compostable, or ketchup which is in a bottle instead of throwing a sachet each time. Despite everything, we enjoyed our stay!
I stayed at this La Quinta property in November 2018 with my wife and our small dog during a cross-country car trip. This is a modern hotel that is well maintained and clean. The staff was accommodating and the hotel offers easy free parking, good wireless internet, and no pet fee. The area around the hotel feels safe, and there are restaurants and stores nearby. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Listed online as a 3 star hotel, should be 4 stars.Clean, spacious rooms and lobby. Good parking, safe. Very good hot tub and swimming pool, very clean and well maintained. Access for people with disabilities. Staff well trained and friendly. Breakfast included and reasonable and abundant (including good coffee which was a pleasant surprise). Highly recommend.
A newer La Quinta... the rooms are clean, but the hotel is pretty bare bones. Breakfast was the typical morning buffet, good selection and no problem with asking for more items when they ran out. Hot tub was closed and pool was filled with 20 kids, so wasnt able to enjoy. Traveled with a toddler and no problem providing a clean crib.
Recently had an extended stay, all the staff were friendly and courteous. Newer facility that is keep up inside and out. Sits off of US 9 tucked in a quiet wooded area, very peaceful. The staff met all of our request with a smile. Nicely appointed rooms that would rival some of the upscale chains. Location is centrally located which makes visiting Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady or any of the other surrounding citys easy. Extremely pet friend with a large convenient dog walk. Breakfast was good with many choices including some hot foods. Young lady that serves breakfast went out of her way to accommodate us and other guest. My only recommendation is better shower pressure and additional benches in the rear by the dog walk/smoking area. Also would recommend Primavera Pizza right across US 9 from the hotel. We ate there several times during our stay and were never disappointed, recommend the chicken parmigiana and the wings excellent.
The room was large and comfortable with two double beds, there was a large clean bathroom and shower, a tv with free cable, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, hair blow dryer, and toiletries. The only complaint we had was that we were woken early because there was a family with kids in the room above us. The children were running and jumping in the room and it caused a lot of noise on our ceiling. We mentioned this to the clerk at checkout and she was appreciative to learn this information. In the future she will try to put guests with children in rooms on the first floor.
There is a constant problem with the design of the cookie cutter La Quinta architecture. In the few that Ive been to you can always here other plumbing. Two out of three toilet seats rocked back and forth. The housekeeping slams doors or better yet keeps the doors ajar by the deadbolt and when it slams on that YIKES. The noise will wake you out ur sleep quickly. There was also alot of fingerprints on the stainless steel elevator, lobby bathroom and pool doors. Not cool during a pandemic.
Even though Covid-19 precautions are still in place, limiting some services, it was overall very good. However, because we are older and have some physical issues with pain, they need to have firmer mattresses available and make that part of what kind of room you want. Bed was too soft and made pain issues worse. That would be the only suggestion we had.
This is one of the new generation La Quinta Inns that started being built a few years ago. Those that are older are not as consistently good, so you may want to check the opening date of the specific hotel before booking. We stayed at one in Garden City, LI that wasnt as good.We have had a couple of staycations here, and what impresses me most is how they match the Courtyard/Hilton Garden/Hampton Inn/Hyatt Place grade of lodgings while costing 15–20% less. I havent done a price point comparison for a while so maybe the others have become more competitive when they have had to compete with La Quinta, but either way LQ is doing good!Like most of the newer hotels, this one has a workout room, pool, hot tub, art deco lobby, free coffee all day, and free breakfast in the morning. All the rooms have microwaves and fridges. The rooms themselves are comfortable and the premises are kept clean. They allow pets and there is a dog walking trail. Service was very good.UPDATE: After the managements response, and upon further consideration on my part, I am increasing my rating to a 5. My thinking had been that a hotel would have to be fancier to be considered a 5, but I give delicatessens 5 ratings because they are great delis. Likewise I would do the same for burger joints, fried chicken places, etc. if they did what they sought to do at the highest quality level. Why should lodgings be any different? So in the last few days I have upgraded one rating from a 2 to a 3, and now another from a 4 to a 5. Gosh golly, could I be any more deliberative and fair minded?
This La Quinta is the model for the future of the chain. It was perfect for every need. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, it was very clean and well maintained, and the convenience of items in the room were great! The pool and hot tub were great, and breakfast was fresh and plentiful to get the day off right. Would definitely recommend if staying a night or a week!
This was the best plase. They had a door on the back so it was easy to get the dogs out. They had a big area to walk the dogs. The room was very large and the queen beds were great. The breakfast was hot and had fresh scrambled eggs. They had a coffee pot in the room but wish it was a Keurig.
This property is beautiful. It is brand new, about a year old, and its in beautiful shape. We were greeted at the reception desk by a friendly, helpful woman. She had my reservation practically in hand. She checked us into a room that was more than expected in fact I had been upgraded. The room itself was clean, large, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Including the pillows. We took a drive into Saratoga Springs after arrival and the town was delightful. Vibrant, attractive and seemed to have everything anyone would need for a stay.
Less than a year old. Super clean and very nice looking! Our room for upgraded to a suite! The front desk girl (Angie) was so conscientious of a group of concert goers that she put us two floors away so we can avoid the possible late night noise! We will stay here again! Usually stay the Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites but this is less expensive and every bit as good!
Third time staying here. First two times my husband and I loved it. This time, they were rude. My husband likes to pay in cash. So I will use my credit card as a deposit, then we switch to cash when we check out. Never been a problem. This time we had to have a 150 cash deposit, plus my card and pay for the room up front. They claimed it was their new cash policy. We will not be back. Thats ashame because it was close to our work. Once a month we like to go to a hotel to unwind after a fourteen day straight shift.
Very Nice Hotel in Clifton Park.Having stayed at the Having Inn and Residence Inn, both in Clifton Park, La Quinta is certainly in part with those. It is very clean and the staff is friendly. The location is very good and head plenty of parking. Restaurants are less than 5 minutes by car and the convenience store sucked better than most.La Quinta is a much better value and their pet and cancellation policies are the best in the industry.
Breakfast ends at 9 am and when you are on the road sometimes you want a late breakfast. Other similar hotels breakfast until 10 am. Pool closes at 10 pm sharp and other hotels 11 pm or they even let you stay later if you are respectful. Felt like the staff were so engaged in enforcing rules as opposed to making the guests feel welcome and happy.
Excellent customer service (from Carlos at check-in, to Donnie in the evenings, and Lonnie at breakfast), nice lounge area to meet with friends, warm pool and bubbly hot-tub. Beds were comfy. Shopping and food nearby. Great Asian restaurant and hopping pizza joint within walking distance! Very clean and new hotel.
Reasonable prices, pretty good, close enough to Saratoga. Decent breakfast and coffee. Lots of dogs, ok with me, although I dont have one. I should have thrown a blanket over half the AC vent because it blew on me off and on all night. Too hot and too cold all night. Otherwise I might have given five stars.
EXCELLENT We needed to stop after traveling straight from NC. We had our small dog and were pleased to hear all pets stay free at LaQuintas. The price of 82 dollars was another treat! The building was new and beautifully decorated. To our pleasant surprise, The GM, Pete Smith, an old friend of my husband Paul, was on call that night. He was extremely helpful and helped with our luggage and other minor things. The morning desk girl was so friendly and cheerful! Thanks so much for a great stay.
For a supposedly new motel the lock on the door of the room was really hard to engage. Had to lift the door up to get the lock to work. The bath tub also didnt drain properly. I have stayed at laquintas before and this one has had the most problems and it was the newest site. The front desk people were very friendly.
Two managers quoted me two different prices for a room block and didn’t honor the cheaper price (even when the online price reflected the cheaper version). Peter beats around the bush when negotiating room rates and cost me numerous other hotel bookings in the area by making me wait 5 days for a response (only responded after multiple emails and phone calls where I had to be stern with the front desk staff). I won’t be conducting business here in the future and don’t recommend booking room blocks here unless you want to pay more than the price advertised online.
Front staff are not very friendly & hospitable when we checked in..They could barely smile and look at u fr the computer..They put our rm near the elevators above the lobby 2nd floor..noisy..We found loose pills on the carpet, left over dog toys from the previous guest. The carpet wasnt vacuumed good. Soap scum on the shower door, hair in the shower. Glad that we brought clorox wipes.no xtra blankets in the drawer. Pool area is small, and the hot tub is full of chlorine..Pool area out of towels, coffee area not stocked..Rm was above the lobby, sliding door in lobby made a banging noise, when anyone went in and out of the lobby..stayed fri night Sat morn we left at 11 a.m. returned at 4pm. ate dinner in, napped, watched movies. dogs didnt bark..went to pool 8:30pm, spoke casually to sec before & after.we were there 30 min.. no towels @ pool. went to coffee area. We fixed our coffee/tea and the sec guard asked us what room we were in, & we told him. He said your dogs have been barking, and he took off..we grabbed our coffee and got on the elevator. we got off the elevator, the dogs were hysterically barking at the door. What was going on? for them to be acting like that? Someone either entered our room, or messed w. the door? dogs very upset.. front desk agent Katrina and security running down the hallway, waving her arms, pointing finger in husb face, we tried to unlock the door & it would not unlock! We were LOCKED out of our room..Katrina said that everyone in this hallway was complaining about my dog barking. I said Im sorry once I get in the room, the dog will calm down. he usually is not like this She would not unlock door, we stood in the hallway in our wet bathing suits. I insisted that she unlock the door now! She said we need to LEAVE the hotel NOW! I said What? I just couldnt believe it..she was waving her pointed finger and being very abrupt and unprofessional. I said Its 9pm, holiday wkend we have no place to go & we live 200 m. from here She said Thats not my problem! I asked for a refund for tonight and tomorrow night and she said Absolutely not & You will leave now! I told her that it was illegal to keep the money. She said Fine, I will call the police and they will make you leave! I said, I will keep him quiet when I get in the room..Katrina said NO! locked us out of R rm..Kat refused to give us a refund when I asked for it. She was mean and nasty. Finally she unlocked the door. we went in the room, I was crying, and my husband & I started packing. We are in our 50s, and it was late. no hotels in the area available & we had to drive home 200 m. late at night, rural NY/VT Fog/Moose.. Kat. was rude, and very unprofessional. They put people without pets next to people with pets. A tour bus group was in house..Not a good idea to put them next to people w. dogs...Kids running up and down the hallway. We are very upset. ruined our holiday wkend. We have stayed at laquinta w. pets all over the eastern seaboard even tx..Never had any problems like this ever! This hotel is fairly new. NOT recommended them, they cant be trusted. Entering rms without permission. GM accused us of abandoning our dogs! They dont have a designated pet floor/section.GM:You have been mislead as to what exactly happened. Job security I guess..Staff was surprised to find out we were in the hotel the whole time! U R going by what your staff told u! dogs were NOT barking constantly because we were in the room! when we went to the pool at 830 they did bark Due to NOISE..Thin Walls. Noisy room w. banging sounds..we were reachable by phone. I only saw one missed call on my phone while we were at the pool for 30 min.security spoke to us 3x while we were down stairs & he never said a word! Your staff behavior was unacceptable & unprofessional. Nasty emails from GM...I did get a full refund once I contacted Corp! Only if I just got that in the beginning! Good luck GM..Go back to motel 8..
Service was great room was really nice, got upgraded for free to an executive suite, because of a mistake that were not their own. They have a pool,24hr coffee, great breakfast. The location is also a plus many restaurants, including dunkin donuts and many other shops. Definitely will be coming back.
Super property! Truly a boutique hotel feel in both in its decor and service. Brand new and very refined.. Truly a different kind of LaQuinta property. Was approached in parking lot as I was returning the luggage cart by a gentleman to tàke it from me saving me the trip back inside, and was surprised to find it was the owner of the hotel...Tony! Was genuinely intrested in our experience and was encouraged to come back! Great job guys! Great hotel!
Clean updated and Comfortable rooms. Our receptionist Betsy went well above and beyond in takeing care of us. Beware a company called snap chat. Got here and no reservation. They gave us a confirmation number that was apparently not real or at least not one used by LaQuinta hotels. Amenities were very good. Thank you Betsy and LaQuinta hotels.
Rything he put us through and even called us back to come get the last receipt after we left without getting it on accident. I dont know where we would have been without all of their help. They are truly LIFESAVERS that worked with us EVERY step of the way to make sure that we werent struggling too much financially or emotionally..... well be FOREVER GRATEFUL to this place!
First off I called and asked if they were dog friendly they said yes and no mention of a pet fee then I booked a room apon check in the lady at the counter asked about the dog and I said yes he will be with us later then she tried to charge extra ( which I denied and brought my pet home to sit alone for the day)😡 then without me giving my credit card she told me it was denied and Id have to pay cash for the room( witch I was going to pay cash anyway) and then informed me by paying cash I would have to put a 150$ deposit because my card that has over 10k on it was denied !!!! Then I had to ask for a receipt for deposit as she didnt know how to wright one so she asked a manager how to . long story short very unprofessional wont be staying here ever again or its sister hotels
No BS. All smiles and service.Whoever is doing the hiring has their game together.I tracked in small flecks of mud by mistake through the back lobby, the elevator, and half of the hallway of the 4th floor (tasteful pictures of Saratoga, etc)Without irony or clenched teeth, the staff made me feel like I had done them an outright favor.

2022-04-20This hotel has large, clean rooms. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Best continental breakfast I’ve ever had. Selection was awesome. It’s not just fruit and cereal. They have eggs, Belgian waffles, sausage and more. My only complaint is my room had a shower only so I couldn’t bathe my little ones. I would definitely stay again.

2022-05-24Hotel was as expected for the price point. Staff was very friendly and helpful given the fact that they were super busy! We had a great stay with a positive experience. Would stay here again! No complaints.

2022-03-15Fedex drivers across country and really really needed a break! Had our dogs with us, and dogs and us all felt very welcome! 😊 friendly staff who went above and beyond for us on March 14, 2022 rm 124... (and we truly appreciated your help). Also, breakfast was better than many hotels we have stayed in, and again.. ALL staff was awesome!! Friendly guests, nice chats, friendly pets...CLEAN HOTEL!!! YAY!!!Thank you!!!!

2022-02-28Stayed with my fiance. Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. Accomodations were above what we expected. Only part that sucked was the hot tub and heated pool were occupied by the same 2 families and kinda put our Romantic night away and traveled here for this amenity put a damper on our stay......

2022-06-21Positive: The staff was very helpful, and was able to answer all my questions/assist with anything I needed. Negative: Nothing in particular comes to mind; the visit was generally quite pleasant. (A petty issue, but it seems that food delivery services do not register the hotels location as a valid address. No big deal, though.)

2022-03-02Positive: Staff was friendly. We were greeted with welcome bags when arriving on christmas eve, a very nice touch. Facility was very nice. Negative: 2/4 machines in the gym were broken. The elliptical (what I wanted to use) made horrible grinding noises. The bikes seat would not adjust.

2022-03-22Very nice staff. Clean. Close to delicious pizza.🍕 pool and hot tub were nice too.Beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the comforters on the bed had a loud, plastic sound everytime someone moved will in bed.

2022-04-04I forgot to mention one thing in my review that Im sure health inspectors and other guests would like to know. I know the hotel is infested with red aunts. I bought it to the attention of the night staff when I was there the first night after dropping a crumb in the kitchen area. More than I could count started to come over to it. No solution was offered and Nothing was done because I noticed alot of them crawling in the lobby the last night I was there on 4/1/22.
