The food is okay, and served quickly. The place needs an overhaul. The tables are wobbly and beat, the seating is not comfortable. There is literally NO AMBIANCEI ordered a burger with an egg on top and a salad. My girlfriend ordered a goat cheese wonton salad and a wrap. The food was palatable, but nothing remarkable Id love to see them spruce the place up a bit (the bathroom too!) and make it feel like a garden by the river as the name suggested
Great food in a casual atmosphere with friendly staff. This traditional French bistro even had some options on the menu for this vegan. We started out with drinks outside on the beautiful patio in the sunny breeze, but moved inside and enjoyed our meal in a cozy corner booth when the clouds came. We would love to return for another meal.
The best... cannot thank the owners and staff enough for this wonderful place to eat. Relaxed outside in summer and cozy inside when you want it to be. Food is always to an exceptional standard for a light bistro type place. Many dished on the menu are there year round but find I can eat them over and over again and still get that first wow this is incredibly good feeling when I try one again. Always fun to go to and where you often see friends and acquaintances. BTW - wonderful place for a good weekday early business breakfast locally.
The best restaurant by far in the area. Everyone is always happy and enjoying themselves without being too loud. Friendly, warm, upbeat, and endearing staff & owner. Staff is professional, polished, attentive, and shows good discretion. Very very clean indoor & seating areas and restrooms. Environment is casual and charming without a jacket or tie within miles. Wide range of food types on a carefully selected menu that changes daily. Food is based on casual French but a large portion of the menu is American, etc. Best burgers, onion soup, salads, mussels marinara, and croque madame & monsieur in the area. Excellent healthy choices! Something for everyone. Universal high quality of food is very impressive given the ridiculously long hours of the restaurant (opens early for breakfast and closes late for dinner; breakfast is more French-themed than lunch or dinner). Kid friendly without having too many kids. Local favorite of regular folk and celebs for casual dining, dates, celebrations, meeting friends, and dining with the boss or clients. Note that Googles Street View does not show the actual restaurant. And remember: 5 stars for a French bistro is not the same as 5 stars for a pizza joint , diner, or deli.
Never again. Food was good. Service was good. We asked if all of the wines on Tuesday were half price and we were told yes. We even asked specifically about the bottle of wine we ordered and again we were told yes. When the bill came out it was full price. In fine letters it said that this wine was already a special price and therefore not subject to half price.
From the moment I walked in I should of known the experience was going to be bad the manager/host was irrated that we didnt have a reservation. In fact when I replied no to having a reservation his response was awesome. After fidgeting for a few minutes he placed us at one of the 5 open tables he had at the moment. Prices were insane $16 for a 10 ounce bowl of chilli that was the same quality as canned chilli. My wifes $28 dollar chicken dish was dry like really dry. If it had been a living item it would have just moaned water, please water, I need water. Still confused how you can charge $28 for chicken then make jerky. My margarita was $15 and literally tasted like sour mix. Barely worth $6. Given the prices the food quality was sub par. With this food quality you should have bar prices not fine dinning. Believe me I manage a fine dining restaurant and there was no fine dining quality in the food quality. No manager ever visited the table to ask how the experience was, which amazes me since they have only 15 tables. For a friday night to have such poor quality is unacceptable.
I live in Tampa FL and asked for a special favor to accommodate a very special friend in Chappaqua. The staff and manager here were super gracious and willing to work with me to ensure a very positive experience. These are great people and I am sure their continued success is a result of how they treat people! Thanks so much
I have been a long time customer of Le Jardin and it never fails to disappoint. The service is incredible, the staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The ever changing specials are inventive and fresh, making it easy to dine there frequently. I have also used Le Jardin to cater parties and they have always exceeded my expectations. Worth a trip to Chappaqua and in the Spring/Summer the outdoor garden is heaven on earth!
Its perfect!! Nice to eat a hamburguer :DThe fries are exclusive In this place!!The coffee its really good,i love capuccino hahahahaajhaGood and fresh vegetales,or fruitsAll have lot of flavourThe waiters work hard AND THE COOCKS MORE!!The cooks are the best and with Rudy Beltran like the chef!! Wow rudys the best!!I recommend you to come here people :D
I went to Le Jardin for the first time tonight. As a vegetarian l found the choices on the menu very limited. I did not particularly enjoy the food in comparison to French restaurants in the city. (French fries were horrible). The tables were close together resulting in a very high noise level. It was not conducive to conversation. Was disappointed, will not return.
Tasty food, mostly. Id recommend. However, when twice told that the breast of the Demi-Poulet et sa Sauce Diable (half chicken marinated in mustard, pan roasted with breadcrumbs, served with fries and diablo sauce) was very dry (it was terrible), no action was taken by either the manager or waiter to make up for the error. It was very disappointing, especially since everything else was very satisfying. They need to rework that dish so that the all of the meat is flavorful and moist. It has potential.

2022-05-02Lunch with ❤️RK❤️ She had the tuna, I had the salmon. We both loved our dishes. The desserts were awesome. We had crème brûlée and bread pudding. The manager is super nice, very warm and friendly. You could tell a lot of the lunch crowd was regulars, which speaks for the place. Nice and cozy on the corner of King. It’s a rainy, chilly day but they have a nice outdoor space as well. Will def go back soon!

2021-08-22Best carbonara Ive ever had (should have taken the pic before I ate it all). Trout was perfect. Atmosphere is inviting and the service was spectacular!! We ate inside because it was humid but most people were eating outside where its just gorgeous.

2019-01-18It wasnt bad, but I expected something better from an expensive french restaurant. I mean, chicken wings and tacos shouldnt be on the menu here. Chocolate mousse was too sweet. It was also a little cramped inside. Servers were friendly.

2021-12-20The wait staff is professional and personable. The food is superbly seasoned and presented. The fried chicken sandwich, the burgers and the fish tacos are well prepared and garnishescan include cole slaw, tomato and crispy lettuce, and red onion and crispy fries. You may also request American fare as the dinner menu suggests.

2021-06-01They always do a great job here. All the staff are super friendly. The best escargot in the area. The menu is a bit eclectic, but is mostly rooted in casual French cuisine. Its a great place to go for a weekend lunch.
