Really enjoyed the Breyers Ice Cream served here. Many flavors not commonly found makes it fun. This place has a nice outdoor seating area too. Its a small service station but the outdoor tables make up for it. Good service, great toppings, and yummy ice cream.
Very friendly service and great variety of flavors. They let us sample a bunch of flavors w/o issue. $2.75 for one scoop - great value as its a big scoop. But what I love the most is the outdoor ambience - sitting in a cool outdoor patio, watching all of City Island come alive, while feeling like you are hundreds of miles away from Manhattan
Customer service is on point here, the people inside were very welcoming. They recommended sorbet since I do not do dairy and its vegan. They had Lemon, Pear, Peach and the COCONUT one, was the one!! Loved it and I strongly recommend!!Bring ya friends and family here they will definitely enjoy.
Wonderful and friendly ice cream shop that’s evocative of a small town. Perfect after a day at Orchard Beach. They’ll even warm up the brownie to go a la mode, and there’s a good amount of seating outside with hula hoops and chalk for kids to play.
I have visited this establishment for sometime. Even back to back days for the brownie sundae. I have not had a bad experience until . . . tonight The staff is usually friendly and upbeat.Tonight I brought my family for some ice cream, fresh air and simple ambience. We walked into an empty shop with two servers. My sister ordered first and was served by one of the staff. The other staffer came to me and asked if I needed to be helped, I requested a sample. She obliged and before I could request my order she walked away and began serving a woman and her child. No, Im going to help them while you decide, if you dont mind. Instead she says, Arent yall together? Shes going to take care of you. Referring to the other staff member.At that point I lost my taste for ice cream. I paid for 3 items and left. I have to really think about going there again. Simple manners and service will have me committed for life. Blowing me off for someone who looks like you and so unlike me has me pausing for thought. The store gives one an old time feeling of days long past. I had hoped that some of those old time feelings were stuck in the past. Maybe not?
Nice little ice cream shop. Good and inexpensive ice cream cones. They served mostly Perrys ice cream.
Cozy little creamery with nothing out of the ordinary. Good selection of flavors including house recipes. My scoop had some ice chunks in it which was unpleasant but they stopped appearing as I ate further in. Not much else to say about it
Two people at a time can enter the place and the ice cream is delicious. I ate two cups of cookie dough and chocolate ice-cream. The women working at the shop are friendly.
Great little local ice cream shop. Yummy ice cream and reasonable prices. The only complaint has nothing to do with the place but the customers who order, get there ice cream and stand inside the very tiny place blocking the counters for other customers trying to order.
I really like the variety of flavors for the ice cream they offer. You just need cash though. They do not take other form of payment. They have games for the little ones to play.

Lickety Split is City Islands local ice cream barn. Im a big fan of the shakes while my date orders the sundae. Outdoor seating isnt anything special but its perfect after dinner in the summer.
Love it, great tasting ice cream.. quite outside eating area. But just have to clean most of the chairs and table umbrellas, looks too dirty.
Will not accommodate celiac disease. The server attempted to help but, the woman in the back (possibly the manager) would not allow them to serve me fresh ice cream from the back that had not been contaminated with gluten.

2019-09-02The place is cute and very small. All of the employees were friendly and attentive. They dont have a long list of ice cream flavors but they do cover the basics. Outdoor seating is available. The waffle cone was very good.

2021-07-27Been coming to City Island from New Rochelle since I was a kid and still do as an adult. Was riding my bike with a friend the other day and decided to stop and get some ice cream here for the first time. And let me tell you Im glad I did it has a few tables so you can hang out and have conversation While you enjoy their delicious ice cream 🍦😋✌🇺🇸

2018-08-30The ice cream I got (Rum raisin and cookie dough) were very creamy and delicious. I do have to say they are ridiculously overpriced. I asked for a cone, $2 extra added to my already $4.75 ice cream. They do not have prices listed nowhere in the premises. It is a cute place, but they definitely have to do better on the prices!.
