The minute you arrive thru the gates, you can feel you are somewhere special. I have been there a few times and no matter how many cars and how booked up the weekend is, I never felt crowded, just a sense of peace. I have also stayed overnight with my daughter and daughter-in-law in a very quaint rental that was cozy and welcoming. It was a wonderful time especially the ghost walk that we did that night! I would advise anyone that is looking to experience something special to go to Lily Dale!!!
Adorable little historic town. My husband and I had a great time wandering around, taking photos and feeling the energy.
As life long local resident I, surprisingly, had never been on the grounds at Lily Dale.So when I saw the Sunday Event Tour the Grounds for an hour, @ $10 per person, I figured why not?Id never been and my wife, whos new to the area thought wed enjoy the day and check it out.We paid our $10 each online, printed our tickets and off we went for an adventure.But low and behold, when we made the gate into the community there was a $15 gate fee, per PERSON, to even enter the grounds that WASNT included, considered or even mentioned in the Tour the Grounds event description or on the tickets themselves.That would have been $50 for the 2 of us to simply enter Lily Dale and walk around for an hour.We cut our losses and flushed the $20 we had already paid down the proverbial toilet, turned around and drove home.Pretty shady business practices for a supossed Spiritual Retreat
Mediums seemed to be picking up off of more than one persons reading in free sessions so some messages were off. My gf got a personal reading for $200/hour, i listened to the tape and all he did was hit on her, talk about himself and NOT ONCE did he give her a message from spirit, he sounded like a therapist going through a mid life crises and it was thoroughly disappointing. The energy was off, too much fear, ego and confusion.
Love this place! Think could be So much better if everything wasnt so oriented towards an older crowd. Needs some young blood with some new ideas & things for a younger crowd to get into...Sad to say if they dont do something this place will die with whats left of the realLily dale mediums. No new blood means no future people...common sense!!
Its calm and peaceful great vibes but things that are supposed to happen do not happen or happen late and those who pay online are disappointed to show up to see the class they payed for is not happening. Very disappointing
I was disappointed about how comercialized Lily Dale has become. The entrance admission was costly. There were additional fees throughout the grounds. I used to live in Western NY and enjoyed many visits there, but not this time. I feel no need to return

The history of the buildings was amazing the people were super friendly even for it being off-season just gorgeous I cant wait to come back this summer

Probably because of the epidemic, it is very deserted, but it is also a very beautiful town with a nice little trail...The beef rolls in the restaurant in the center of the town are delicious

2021-07-14If you are looking for a relaxing interesting and spiritual day, visit Lily Dale and attend a few of their events. Simply wonderful.I particularly enjoy the little shops and coffee house.This is a must visit location if you are in the area.

2022-06-29Hi, Ive been going to Lily Dale since 1980. Paid to go to the opening ceremony with the Tibetan monks, Sunday night sacred music and dance and the releasing ceremony. The facilitators got in early and took the best front row seats at the first and last events. Yesterday as those who paid waited for the monks procession, one woman facilitator walked directly in front of the monks video taping them so no one else could see. Sunday we arrived 20 minutes early and were made to wait till 8pm to enter... To find about 100 people already had the best seats ? Im not sure whats going on ? But I dont feel any of this was in any way fare to people who pay to attend.

2021-05-13I like off the beaten path, quirky thngs so I forced my husband to stop here. The spiritualism the place embraces is really not my thing but Im definitely going to go back w some friends for a girls trip during the summer for one of their seminars.

2021-11-01I visit Lily Dale every year in the summer months. Whether anyone is there for a reading, whether anyone is a believer, whether anyone has an agenda, Lily Dale is a place like none other. It is simply peaceful, serene, tranquil, calm with an abundance of zen-like qualities in the landscaping, housing structures, gardens, forests, environment and close-knit community that has elevated levels of commonality, purpose, living and visitation arrangements. It is a wholesome, welcoming, love-embracing community that is unlike any other. The mediums and residents are so very talented, kind, thoughtful, gracious, caring, courteous, accommodating and attentive to everyone’s needs. A must visit for those seeking a metaphysical, physical, soul-searching, esoteric, spiritual, conscious and out-of-conscious experience.

2021-09-05I grew up at Lily Dale. I have been coming back home now for over 25 years, several times a year. Even after all this time, it has always felt like home. Not much has changed at Lily Dale over the years, which has been a great thing to come home to. Even though I dont live here anymore, it still feels like home to me.If this is your first time visiting Lily Dale, you absolutely must visit Inspiration Stump.

2021-06-29My wife and I were very skeptical but decided to give it a try. Mind-blowing! An absolutely enchanting environment to say the least. Peace and tranquility fills the air, the presence of spirit is especially powerful. We enjoyed our time spent very much, and definetley received the energies we sought. All of the shops, were very well maintained, and very reasonably priced. The coffee shop Lucys was fantastic, the baked goods were super fresh and delicious, the coffee and tea as well. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Lily Cafe has the best hamburgers! Seriously, the best. The gate fee and any other items were all well worth the value. We were very happy to support the community.There were some guests who were obviously not having a good time, they seemed to be looking for a theme park entertainment scenario, this is not that place. It is a religious organization and these grounds are their church and holy space, its not there to be mocked or disrespected. The warmth and love you feel walking the grounds make it evident that this is someplace magical. Definitely worth going to! Thank you to all who live and work there for making it possible. We will be returning and hope many more will make the journey to the Dale!

2021-09-15My favorite place ..so peaceful .go spend the weekend and spend time with yourself.. Sit with yourself in the beauty of lily dale. Id go here every week if i could .. Mediums are there if you want a reading . they offer free message services all through the day .

2019-07-01One of the coolest most tranquil places ive ever been. I would recomend anyone looking to conenct more with themselves and nature come to this place. It liberates the soul truely. It redefined my perspective of reality and brought me closer to god. I would love to move here. Its a must visit on anyones list you can truely feel the positve energy and it lifts your spirit.
