Moody vibes. Like youve snuck into your grandfathers whiskey club in 1920s elite society. Doesnt hurt that the drinks are expertly crafted and served in gorgeous thick, star emblem glasses. The scallops were light and buttery and the grilled Cesar was the perfect mix of charred and tangy. Service exceeded expectations. Tuck yourself in a corner and soak up the ambiance!!
Very very nice dinner. Got the fillet with mash potatoes and it was super tasty and perfectly cooked! Atmosphere is magic but i think we got there in the wrong night, a party was on and too many drunk ppl yelling and shouting 😂 😂 but I will definitely go back as dinner was amazingly tasty
Enjoyed dinner tonight. We had the vegetarian cheese steak, shrimp cocktail, and broccolini My husband also liked his Old Fashioned, and the chocolate mousse was good, but on the small side. The only thing that wasnt as good was the Brussels sprouts because they were not cooked enough, and were too hard to enjoy.
We tried this restaurant because of its convenient location to our hotel and we were not disappointed. We werent able to make a reservation, but sitting at the bar was worth the experience. The bar tender was super talented and that was just the beginning. My husband had their smash burger special and I had the roasted chicken. Both meals were phenomenal. The chicken was cooked so perfectly I could barely stop from drooling after every bite. Glad we stumbled into this place!
The best part of this place is the dollar oysters at the bar from 3-6 everyday. That’s right- not just Mon-Fri but Sat and Sun, too! The bar is incredibly stoked from floor to ceiling, and I adore the wooden ladder on wheels, that glides across it for easy access to the top shelves. The bar staff is dressed in adorable vests, and while that shouldn’t be a draw in an of itself, it is. The decor is dark and moody- perfect for a wintertime meal or a few smooth drinks. I place a lot of stock in the decor, and was thrilled that they had leather couches in the front bar section to sit in, and nice touches like a large bison head, bold printed wallpapers, and thick wooden beams. I went recently for my birthday, and they were able to accomodate a large group of 12, and were incredibly nice and thoughtful during service. We didn’t feel rushed, and they let us linger for hours at our table. They also let us bring our own cake! I had such a lovely time, I cannot recommend it enough. The vibe was great, and we got to hear a live band from the upper floor. Also, the drinks are STRONG!
Best whiskey selection around, including a fairly good japanese collection. I like the fact that they set the bottle in front of you at the bar so you can examine and read the bottle, nice touch. Got the burger and mac n cheese, pretty large portions and tasted good. Great service and good conversation with the bartenders, reasonable prices
Wow this is the perfect example of a great whiskey bar. Huge selection. Knowledgeable and competent bartenders. Exquisite design. Quality food menu. This place had a wonderful historic feel to it, and you can tell every detail had been thoroughly thought out, from the elegant and timely lighting fixtures, the dark wood, the classy seating, and even down to the brass tacks. The super old refrigerators are cool. The level of detail is impeccable. Highly, highly recommend. Best treasure in Buffalo.
Best. Whiskey Bar. Ever. I was blown away by the selection here and the bartenders are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Their old fashioneds are out of this world and its the best place to try a new pour before buying a bottle. We were in town for a week for work and ended up back here twice. I cant wait to go back.
The salads are always great here. Ive had the caesar which is highly authentic as well as the house which is a very full mix of greens and some pickled onions on top.The roasted chicken and elk were also both really good although I think I liked the chicken more. They have an extensive selection of beers and whiskey; the real draw to this place. Not open on Sundays or Mondays from what I remember. Worth going for the ambiance and music. Highly recommended.
Great selection of whiskeys, especially bourbons, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I will be returning to try the food as Ive heard the burgers are very good. I went to hear an acoustic folk/rock duo and the only problem was the awkward set up/location for the musicians.
The wife and I were looking for a place to go before a concert at Key Bank Arena. We decided to checkout places a little further from the arena but close to the subway. Lucky Day was perfect. Its a 1 minute walk to the train. We almost didnt go because of all the bad reviews on the food, but Im a whiskey fanatic, and heard their selection was incredible. Im so glad we ended up going. The food was incredible! I ordered the Rainbow Trout, and my wife ordered the Steak Burger. Her burger was perfectly medium rare and juicy. The fries were fresh cut potatoes seasoned perfectly. My fish had an awesome mushroom sauce and was perfectly flaky as a fish should be presented with again, great seasoning. The staff was very attentative. My only gripe is the bar is elevated about 3 feet, and the tables are against the drop off, so the volume of the bar chatter funnels through the lower dining section. I have a decibel meter app on my phone that was rating 82.6db. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation. Food, drinks, bartenders, staff, vibe, etc incredible!!! We cant wait to go back. Bar volume? Theres probably nothing they can do about it short of a sound buffer, but it was loud.
Me and my wife Lydia come in from Ohio every year to get some Dino BBQ and golf at that one place thats also a dog park. Usually we leave the same day, but this time Lydia says to me, she says Oh Bob, why dont we take some friends with us this year and get a B&B or something and stay the night. We havent had a vacation in years! I think that sounds great, so thats what we did. We had a slot open on Saturday night to eat something other than Dino, so we decided to try Lucky Day.Boy am I glad we did! Im not very good with these computers these days, but I definitely had to write about this place, since if anyone is ever wondering if theyre real good, theyre real good! Isabel was our server and my buddy was making fun of me for getting a lemon wedge with my Bourbon, so she brings out some Splenda to go with it :) The place is packed, but they got these little nooks so you feel like its just you in there. My steak was so good I ended up getting another one for dessert, and since technically it was my birthday she ended up putting a candle in my mashed potatoes! We finished with a shot of some kind of whiskey that they play music to while its aging. Never heard of that before, didnt taste any different than regular whiskey, but well definitely remember it, thats for sure!Anyway, every minute of our time there was great, the food was great, the drinks were great, and Isabel probably gave us the best dining experience weve had in the last 5 years at least. Great job all around!
Food was good, but wasnt notified they will not serve you if you cant provide proof of vaccination when I made the reservation. Half of our group wanted to leave, including me, but we decided to stay. Wont be going back to spend money at a restaurant trying to be the vaccine police. Food was good enough to earn 2 stars despite how disappointed we were in their ignorant requirement. I recommend everyone think twice about spending money here until their lift their discriminatory mandate. Scary times when establishments require people to show their papers to enter.
This tavern was a pleasant surprise. Good atmosphere with better food. I had the filet mignon, well done, but like most places, it came to me medium well. It was still great, cooked to perfection. The grilled broccoli was charred perfectly, giving it a great flavor. This place had the best sprouts I’ve had in my life, no exaggeration. Get them. The lobster tail I had added to it was overpriced, and the mashed potatoes were good but not stellar. Even so, it was the best meal I’ve had in Buffalo to date.
Great spot to end the evening. Very good whiskey & bourbon selection along with many other imbibements that might fit anyones appetite. Had a really good chicken po boy as well. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I will definitely visit again. When I do I really hope they have love music again. That really made the night.
Dined at Lucky Day with about three chefs and five other bartenders so, needless to say, our standards were already high going into this place. We were greeted at the door by a lovely young woman named Leah who was such an amazing hostess it might have added an extra star to the food with this app permitted it.Between all of us, we might have ordered every cocktail, every appetizer and every fish in the menu and it was all amazing. I particularly loved the scallops.Lucky Day does not miss a best with their suggestions on pairing because, as you might imagine, they pretty much had every whiskey you could imagine. Our waitress was amazing, the cocktails were perfectly crafted, the host was inviting and the food was to die for. As a Buffalo resident, I plan to be back to Lucky Day Whiskey Bar monthly.
Upscale dinner and drinks for classy adults!I have been here a few times for drinks and have always enjoyed myself. The whiskey, wine and cocktail selection is always superb. The ambiance is a little old world, dark, dim lighting and kind of romantic. Real furniture and heavy glassware round out an upscale adult evening.I came recently for a friends birthday dinner. I had not heard much about the food but we were in for a treat. To start we had the lucky day bacon, Shishito peppers and crab croquettes. All cooked to perfection, seasoned well and delicious. For my main I had the scallops which were cooked wonderfully with the perfect sear. The sweet corn and saffron risotto were a delicate touch to the sweetness of the scallop. My significant other had the shrimp pesto linguine. There were a few large shrimp, cooked and seasoned well. The pistachio was a nice twist on the pesto. The service was also top notch. Not over the top but attentive and always there when you needed something. We were treated to some lovely jazz music during dinner. The absolute perfect evening.
We were blown away by our meal. We switched up the wedge salad and had ranch dressing on it instead which was amazing. My friend had the bourbon chicken and mashed potatoes, I had a special that was brisket and ricotta cheese ravioli. Despite being stuffed we couldn’t stop eating. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Wonderful little place. The whiskey flight was totally worth it. The happy hour drinks were tasty and a great deal. I got the lucky day bacon and it was delicious. Both bartenders were very friendly gentleman who knew a lot about the products. They do more that whiskey! My friend got a white russian, she was very pleased with it. Excellent drinks. Reasonable prices, although bear in mind its a high end whiskey bar so there are some pricey options available.
Best Whisky bar in Buffalo. They have everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you could ever want to try. Yes, they get a fair market price for a pour but they have it, and its priced competitively for the market.Their food is great too and they have some great bands. Its one of my favorite hang outs in the city for sure!
Visited before Blue Jays game during happy hour. The $6 Old Fashioneds and Manhattans are good deals, as was the happy hour fried chicken sandwich. But the best thing we had was the scallops and risotto which was excellent. Bar has a great vibe and selection of whiskey/ bourbon.
Super cute building and delicious drinks. One of the best old fashioned drinks Ive ever had. Not super food choices though, so more of an after-dinner spot. Also took a really long time for drinks to be made, so Id suggest ordering that first and ordering before you finish the first if youre going to have more.
The atmosphere and food at lucky day whiskey bar deserve 5 stars. The cocktail list is sophisticated and well rounded, but poorly executed. All of our drinks tasted extremely watered down. The whisky sour was also disappointing having the incorrect mouth feel and a translucent quality that is certainly not the standard of a place of this caliber. Maybe just the wrong mixologists were working that evening, but, left a lot to be desired in a cocktail bar.
Ive popped in here a couple times now. I spent some time at the bar which was very lively. The prices very wildly depending on what you order, but overall tends to be pretty expensive. The first cocktail I ordered I enjoyed. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it a second time, but the second time it came it was prepared differently and was noticeably worse. Almost as if an ingredient had been forgotten. When Im paying so much for a single cocktail I expect it to be perfect every single time. The food is pretty good. Its basically upscale pub food. The atmosphere is definitely what would keep me coming back. It has a very cool old buffalo feel. Almost a factory turned speakeasy in the night feel.
This place is very cool. Awesome trendy restaurant that obviously takes the time to offer quality food and drinks. The whiskey menu is extensive and the food prices are very fair. We sat in a private booth with curtains on a busy night. We walked in with no reservations and were seated right away. They had a blues band that was pretty good. The whole experience felt unique and authentic. Although it felt like I should have waxed my mustache before walking in the crowd and wait staff were all really cool and friendly. I have been to other places with similar menus where the crowd and staff carry a pretentious attitude. This was not the case in my experience so I gave a 5 star review. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to return if Im in the area again.
Stopped in for dinner. Service was good but it was hard to hear our server because the music was pretty loud. Overall, the drinks were fantastic, chicken and waffles appetizer was amazing. Entrees (steak/lobster and bourbon glazed chicken) were good but nothing to write home about. Whiskey selection was expansive and the menu was broken down nicely by type and region.
I keep finding myself at this place, and bringing more and more friends back each time. Best Old Fashioned in the area hands down. Bartenders are all extremely knowledgeable on their whiskeys. Definitely try the hand pies. The portions are huge! Good live music on Wednesday nights and the weekend oyster specials are not to be missed!
It was a good bar, but definitely not a cocktail experience, as pretentious as that sounds. We waited about 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday evening and had a great time once we were seated. Our waiter was professional and spry.Small bar area compared to the dining room. Great atmosphere and aesthetic.
Every once in a while, one encounters a restaurant that does such a good job, they deserve a second positive review. The Lucky Day is one such place. Its a very attractive barroom that one feels immediately comfortable in. The whisky selection is amazingly broad and deep. During happy hour 6.00 will buy you an old fashioned or a Manhattan, plus there are freshly shucked oysters for a dollar a piece. A very solid menu rounds out the food side. Service at the bar was 5 star. I would not pass through Buffalo and miss an opportunity to visit the Lucky Day. Well done for sure.
Super cool Whiskey Bar with an Irish/German style menu and decor. I ordered hand pies and a pickle plate and would highly recommend both. Reasonably priced and menu online and can even make reservations on there too for convenience if youre like me and want to look before you show up!
One of the best whiskey selections in Buffalo, and their mixed drinks are top notch. Love the paintings and wallpapers used through the place. Intimate dining atmosphere and overall great bar. Staff is always friendly and willing to give a suggestion when looking to try something new.
The young lady at the front desk of the Hyatt hotel across the street recommended this for a cocktail .... its a 15 second walk away. This place has a phenomenal whiskey selection and a terrific cocktail menu. I went with a Sazerac and was perfectly satisfied!! Certainly not the cheapest cocktail around but wonderful bar tenders along with the selection make this a great cocktail choice.
An absolutely amazing place to end up or even start and stay with. The late night menu is absolutely delicious, their fries are crispy, and the vegan mac and cheese is to die for. The pickle plate is both interesting and delicious! The wait staff checked in with us, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. I will absolutely come here again, and with friends too!
Love this bar. If they have the squash blossoms on the menu get them, they are fantastic! I much prefer sitting at the bar than at a table though, it tends to get really warm down in the restaurant area. But the food and drinks are always great, and the live music is always nice.
Excellent food, great atmosphere. We had the salmon which came with greens, a version of carmelized onions and two delicious sauces one a scallop cream. We also loved the sirloin tips and fries, there was an excellent sauce with this dish also. The coffee was really good, a little smoky and their eclair was split open and covered with fresh fruit.... Almost a healthy dessert. A really excellent meal. We plan to go back some time when we can try what looked like 300 choices of whiskey.
Best cocktails in Western New York. More whiskey selections than you can even dream. Plus, the staff is filled with knowledge and super friendly. Just go, you wont be disappointed. Its in the heart of downtown and walking distance from multiple hotels, always a good thing.
Of course a great selection of whiskey and other spirits. Hard to choose but the bartenders can make recommendations. Food was good and large portions if youre hungry! Menu shows gluten free options if you need them (though theres only a couple and I didnt see any main entrees).
This place was great! We had a large party and had reservations. We did family style and loved everything we had! The duck wings appetizer was delicious, but super spicy!! The squash and brussel sprouts were amazing!! We had red wine, so I cant say much about the whiskey drinks.
Come for the whiskey--stay for the food, and the atmosphere, and the live music, and the warmth. The shepherds pie and the bone-in pork chop are two of the best dishes Ive had in Buffalo. Highly suggest this location for anyone looking to impress their visiting friends/family.
An amazing whisky selection and a phenomenal Atmosphere. My only complaint was that it felt a bit understaffed to handle the Friday evening rush. Otherwise the food was phenomenal and the wiskey was supurb. I wish they had eye droppers to help dilute the whiskey otherwise great atmosphere, great bar, be sure to catch happy hour.
Expansive whiskey menu (duh) and fantastic bartending staff. Cool atmosphere and live music. I had a Sazerac which was delicious. Highly recommend checking this place put at least once even if youre not a whiskey fan and let them staff suggest something new for you to try.
Amazing selection of whiskey and scotch. Was pleasantly surprised when I came in this place. Bartenders were nice, well informed, and more then happy to help me pick a whiskey. Food was also great. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone who likes whiskey or scotch.
In downtown Buffalo, the place is right across the old Genesee Building, which is now the Hyatt Hotel. They have an amazing assortment of whiskeys and bourbons. The day I went there they had a live jazz band. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. They have other liquor there as well, but why else would you go to a whiskey bar?
A popular bar in the City of Buffalo. It doesnt look like much from the outside but the inside is very inviting with a warm and friendly atmosphere. With a huge bar area. The drinks and food are delicious. I was drinking Manhattans with Sweet Vermouth. I would reccomend making a reservation if you plan on eating dinner there, you dont need one, but it does fill up fast. I would definitely go back again.
Whiskeys youve never heard of? Check. A warm atmosphere? Check. Loud but not so loud you cant hear the person next to you talking music? Check. Oysters sourced from nova Scotia? I dunno about always but the night I went....check. Everythings on the pricey side but thats about par for downtown buffalo and the plus to it all is the burger knows what its doing and its doing it well (not too big, and the chef picks the toppings, which in my particular case made for a fun experience; the chef nailed it with a slice of thick bacon and mushrooms). I will definitely be going back and while the color palette is your typical hipster/yuppie brown, and I mean brown...the bar the lights the walls etc...warm but ubiquitous broooown, the ambiance and sophisticated flavors more than make up for it. Easily recommend it.
Hands down one of if not the best whiskey bars on the east coast, and certainly the best in Buffalo. Super knowledgeable staff that are super accommodating, great food to complement delicious drinks, and a whiskey selection that will make your head spin. Hands on ownership that is usually there making sure your time is amazing, this is the kind of place youll tell your grandkids you had the pleasure of enjoying. A true whiskey drinkers destination if you live in NY or the surrounding areas of Buffalo.
Great selection of whiskey/scotch but CHASE the bartender has no clue about anything scotch. I consider myself a food and fine drink specialist at its worst. I asked this gentleman quite a fee questions and he couldnt answer one of them without running to his screen of knowledge. Told him smokey wasnt a option and yet smokey is all he could offer. Dont blow smoke hood sir when you know little. Your service has gone smokey.EDIT: A friend I was with ended up saying something to Frank, the other tender. He completely saved the day.. well educated! Returned with a sample of perfections. Revised original review fro. m 1 to 3 stars from original. Will return to edit/add.
My girlfriend and I just went for a little while and we happened to hit their happy hour which they apparently run everyday from 4 - 6 and you can get either $6 Manhattans or old fashioneds along with either $6 fried chicken sandwiches or burgers, all of which were great!
Once inside, the place is very dim, but small alcoves of booths and tables are more brightly lit. Walls are exposed brick and beautiful woodwork separates each area of the place into a nice bar space, and more intimate seating. A large Buffalo head watches over the place from the front, and knowledgeable bartenders will whip up any drink on the menu, or even their own creation with bourbon or whiskey.
Liberty Hound was my 2019 Restaurant Week pick of the week. It is tradition for me to always make sure I get to at least one restaurant though I happily visit more if I am able. I had a decent level of expectation knowing how popular this place is, especially with it being right in the heart of Canalside. It is always overflowing with happy commotion on summer nights with patio dining on the water and live music sometimes either hosted here or nearby.
Didnt expect Buffalo to be so cool. Lots of bars downtown and it was packed on a Saturday night. This is just across from the Hyatt Regency and was our last stop... for over two hours! Fantastic old bar back with a ladder and 500 plus bottles of rare liquor. And great bartenders who can suggest what to try. Lots of class from the good old days.
Lucky day is a very comfortable upscale place. Not unlike Buffalo proper, or like Vera back in its hayday. But somehow its a little more comfortable. Even with being packed in like sardines on a Saturday night and having a long wait for drinks, the atmosphere and live music made up for it. And the drinks of course. Such care put into them and a very extensive selection. Whiskey lovers can really get lost in what they have.
Have a shellfish allergy be and while making me drink the bartender decided to stop and clean up oysters from another person (super unprofessional). The bartender then comes back to making our drinks and doesnt wash his hands! I politely told him about this and he gave serious attitude and then decided to make jokes about it! Ive been to this bar many other times and have had great experiences but wont be back again. This bartender was as unprofessional as they come!
Serving any kind of whiskey you could ever ask for, Lucky Day also provided great service and had old school booths with privacy curtains for a more private experience if wanted. All drinks were made to perfection and the atmosphere is just what you want for a more sophisticated night out. I highly recommend!
If all you care about is whiskey selection this is the place for it. A bit overcrowded. With all the drunk bartenders hanging half off of ladders with no fall support this place is begging for an OSHA visit. The menu is extensive and there wasnt a whiskey I wanted that they didnt have. I wont go out of my way for this spot but Id hit it up if I were in the area.
Very disappointed with the staff here. I originally gave this place an outstanding review, but it has definitely changed. I was out for my birthday and my party of 17 stopped here for some drinks.I ordered a round to say thanks to my party and the bar made a drink that was not so great. My guest wanted to return their drink in exchange for a glass of wine. I asked for a glass of Chardonnay. The bartender did not disclose how much this glass of wine was. There is a glass of Chardonnay on the menu for $8, which I was expecting. The bartender poured a glass of their $28 a glass version without warning. I got the bill and disputed the charge regarding this. The bartender apologized, but did not correct his mistake. He still charged me for both drinks.Im upset with this staff because they did not fix their mistake and they should warn their customers that instead of the $8 dollar glass, the $28 glass is what they are pouring. I would have totally changed my selection before the pour.I hope they improve their customer relations soon because I did like coming to their location. I often show up there with parties of 15 or larger. Poor customer service.
Lively whisky bar with amazing selection and awesome music playlist at a perfect volume to still be able to have a chat. Food is cooked well, but much was underseasoned and kind of boring. Would come back for drinks!*Update: In the past couple months (March, April 2018) several friends have said that I need to go again, as the food is very good now. I went and was amazed at the improvement compared to last year when we went. There are many places to get great food in Buffalo, and LD has gone from something I wouldnt have bothered coming back to eat to a restaurant that I will prioritize coming to, now.
Stopped in to this establishment for a cocktail Fri night around 10 pm 01/03/2020. Bar area was very crowded restaurant area was very quite so after getting a drink from the bar I took a seat at a table to watch the band that was playing and was approached buy a rude hostess who told me i could not sit at the table when i asked why she got an attitude with me so i told her i wanted to talk to the manager. The woman mng on that night came up to me and told me and asked what the problem way i said there was no problem we were just having some drinks and watching the band she went on to tell me that we could not sit at the table they were for dinner guests only!!! I said there is 30 empty tables and 3 TABLES eating she didnt care just flat out RUDE. So if planning to visiting this place make sure you understand what area you allowed in and which you are not I would have stayed for a few more drinks if they would have just let me sit in the EMPTY dinning area but apparently that a BIG no I will not return to this place ever again
Decent place with knowledgeable bar staff!!! thats huge, especially for someone like me who loves a good old fashioned just dont know much about it.... my only disapotment was the smell.... maybe they need to improve circulation or get some candles, something smelled weird the whole time I was there with my boss.
A revamp of what used to be Century Grill. Although they still kept the two tired seating structure and the general aesthetic of the rest of the place, the vibe feels classic and new at the same time. The cocktails were on point and they had an oyster special when I stopped in. Any place that makes a perfect sazarac is awesome in my books.
Cant say Ive ever eaten or drunk there, and never will, but I will say I turned down two jobs waiting to get a spot as a barback at this place and wasnt even given the time of day when I kept calling to inquire about my Hiring packet. At the end of the day, I wouldnt eat at a place where the owners are too lazy to pick up a phone and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Thanks for the job losses guys.
Couldn’t find a reason not to give it any less than 5 stars. First time here but the service food atmosphere and drink were all great, and what is a restaurant but those four things? Looking forward to coming back for round two, bringing some friends, and seeing if my first impressions ring true again

2022-06-08This was a great find while visiting Buffalo. The bourbon selection is top notch! I had the daily special (halibut), but my wife ordered the bourbon chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Appetizers were very good as well.

2022-07-01Best service. I had the dry age rib-eye steak for $70. Supposedly the steak is dried out with a rub for 20 days. It tested ok, nothing like Gordons steak. I tried the orange bourbon whip and it was good and had a kick to it. It is open until 10 so good for late night dinner and across from the Hyatt regency hotel. Quick walk.

2021-12-23Whiskey selection was great and even more surprising was the excellent food. Bourbon chicken was delicious. Whiskey pickles that came with the super tender bacon app (tasted like pork candy) were a hit.

2021-10-09This was a suggestion from our bartender at The Curtiss, and what a gem! Really cool inside, tons of bourbon and such. Seated immediately (recommend reservations on the weekend) service was excellent, food was outstanding, will definitely be back!

2021-09-12Went for dinner. There was live music which was good. The Manhattan I had was really good. The service was good. Disappointed with the food. I ordered the strip. Steak was over cooked. Way way way too much salt on everything. Was expecting better for the prices

2022-06-09This is a classy bar. Food was delicious (Bourbon chicken is to die for) and dont leave without having a tart glass of their strawberry lemonade. Loved the atmosphere! Fair warning... it was ridiculous loud but still loved the restaurant none the less.

2022-04-28If youre in Buffalo, this is a must! We will plan a trip from TX to NY JUST to eat here again. If you are from Texas, you know that speaks volumes! 🤣 We both had the seafood linguine (if only seconds werean option!), cheesecake, chocolate mousse and some amazing whiskey and rye drinks. Our waiter was the bar manager, so we had choice options for some tasty drinks! Thank you for a splendid last night in Buffalo!

2022-01-05Food was flavorless. The Sprite had plenty of flavor though. Went with a party of 4 and we all agreed. The food has a high price point, which makes eating here a troubling experience. The drinks were good. Service was great. Decor is very nice, nice use of space. I saw another review that their steak was over salted. I find that hard to believe as there was no indication of seasoning visually or on the tongue. This tells me whoever is cooking makes a huge difference. The dishes were all handsome works of art. The execution of technique was perfect. They just really dropped the ball on flavor. I can tell it was an artist back there; but for whatever reason - whether it be damaged taste buds, feud with an owner, or volatile policy on how to serve their customers, they didnt produce a good dish out of the 8 that we ordered. With the high price point, we certainly will not be back.
