Nice little park that has a walkway and some waterfalls. Many people come to walk their dogs at this park. There is a very sketchy rundown building with graffiti on it but its all boarded up and you are not allowed to enter. This park is probably nicer in the fall or spring when all the foliage colors come out.
Nice lil secret gem to launch a kayak if youre physical enough. If so, its a quick way to pollopel island( bannermans castle) but be aware of tides. The creek you launch out of is tidal and dennings bay gets shallow, but plenty of wildlife to see, including bald eagles.
I started going to Madam Brett Park back in 2010.I’m a photographer in this place was magical.I have so many pictures and fond memories of this park hidden away in the Beacon NY area.As usual nothing last forever and The contractors have descended on it like vultures and are changing it for high income housing. What a shame.

2022-06-18Such a cool place to visit. There is a beautiful walking trail with several little spots along the way to go fishing. There are no restrooms, but there is however 1 single portable toilet at the beginning where parking is available.

2022-05-29Great low key and laid back spot; plenty of parking if it is a busy day but the little trail off spots never get packed :)

2020-10-03Cool hidden easy but challenging short trail with beautiful medium size water waterfall as the prize. Fun for all ages and if you walk the other direction there is a cool bridge that is alongside the old hat factory.

2019-10-21Used the trail for an easy hike with some friends. It was perfect for all the people in our group. We liked the easy access to the beach along the Hudson. The changing leaves were a nice backdrop - even on an overcast (and slightly rainy day). From the parking lot, face the creek and walk to the left for access to the waterfall.

2018-12-19This is a beautiful little local park that has a lot to offer. Theres waterfalls, walking trails, fishing access, boardwalks, crumbling ruins of old factories, trains...the list could go on and on. If you want you can access Dennings Point, Long Dock and Riverfront Park via connector trails.

2022-04-17From the parking lot, a short walk to the left leads to a surprise - beautiful and wide Tioronda Falls.Walk to the right and you will cross a bridge overlooking the rushing Fishkill Creek - good place to drop a fishing line. There are serene creek and marsh views as you continue.Keep going and you eventually go up a walkway around the railroad tracks. This connects to more trails, including Dennings Point and the Klara Sauer Trail to Long Dock and Beacon Train Station.Leashed dogs and bikes OK.
