Mega Seafoods food was a great experience. If you like seafood this place is for you. They have live lobster and crab. Also all types of fish, and shrimp, oysters, clams, and many more. They have it all out on display laying on the ice. You pick everything you want and put it in a bag. You season it yourself so if you are the type of person who doesnt like too much seasoning or just enough seasoning or a lot then you will be satisfied. Basically it fits every persons needs. The only thing that I was slightly unsatisfied about was the waiting time. At 4 oclock they didnt have a lot of people coming in and out. So I felt as if there was no reason for the wait to be that long. Other than that the place is an amazing spot to go to if youre really craving seafood. I would recommend everyone who is interested to go.
I have occasionally had a pretty good fish sandwich here. There arent fish and chip shops like they had years ago, so this is the only place I know that isnt too far from home, that isnt too bad, and once-in-awhile pretty good, esp. when Im craving one.
We went here earlier and their food was awesome! Its not pricey and on top of that, they serve large amounts too! They sell cooked meals and fresh raw seafood. They charge like 2 bucks if you wanna get the raw seafood fried or steamed. They dont have dining tables inside though, they only do takeout. Definitely recommending this seafood place to everyone! 😊
I like this fish market. Lots of fresh fish to choose from. Can can get your selected fish steamed with vegetables and season it yourself before they place it in the steamer.They Have Fish fish dishes to choose from also. With a choice if white or wheat bread.
I take my family to this nice place often! This is the best place to grab a bite. I go to this spot many times. The meals are excellent, the staff is welcoming and the payment is reasonable. I like eating in this spot over a nice lunch.
From the first moment you enter that restaurant the personel give you a nice feeling. Very hospitable team, it is a good restaurant to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. delicious cuisine, creative chef de cuisine, reasonable pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.
It was jammed packed then they wanted me tk wait after everyone who came after other then that the food is worth it u can season ur own food they way u want after i sat with my kids like a family and pigged out lol
Its a great place, prices arent crazy, but GO AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE IT GETS RIDICULOUSLY CROWDED!!!!! Whether you get your food fried, steamed or raw to cook later home its fresh and you can tell. One of my favorite places
This is one of the best fish markets in the area . They have lots of varieties of seafood and steam and fry . The ladies are very nice and its fast service makes up for the fact that it is always busy in there .
Good fish and shell fish selection.It is a bit rough and very crowded. There are unrefined and works and is best if you know Spanish. Price can be fair at times .... If you choose this place be very patient.
Great price point for a neighborhood fish market! You can buy fish to cook at home and they also have a fry and steam station if you prefer. Staff is courteous.

Not clean at all, I know its a fish market and its suppose to smell but the smell in here was really bad like they do not keep things fresh or they just dont clean at night. It looked nasty. Walked in and turned around an walk back out. In less than a 1min.

Unsuspecting location to buy and season your own fish and crustaceans. Great idea. I couldnt complain about the taste. Lol The fish was steamed to perfection.
Delicious the sandwiches are nice n healthy, the hot food is delicious not salty wit a nice flavor i really enjoy it, my sisters love it too.
Went in to buy a dozen of live crab and the guy behind the counter double the price to 28 dollars a dozen. I go here on the regular and I have never paid that price. Buyer beware.

2022-04-13First off if your buying food that is already made, you will get nothing, but attitude. Please DONOT BUY RAW FISH !!! 75% Of the time it is SPOILED AND SMELLS LIKE AMONNIA. I dont know whats going on. Go to Parkchester way better.

2018-09-28Fast fried food, steamed fish also fish market. Know what you want because there isnt a lot of help with that. I mean theyll answer question depending how busy they are. Dont be afraid to make your own menu item. Read the prices you can do a lot with like 20$

2021-05-09The food is excellent and the staff is patient. Due to them being so popular they stay crowded. So try to avoid going in the late afternoon and on paydays. You can season your own food and if anything go to there sister store on Webster Ave near Fordham

2020-10-21My second favorite seafood place aside from city island. Its a clean establishment and the workers are friendly. No dine in only take out. There is limited parking because of how busy they get and the areas businesses and the bus/train assisiblity/ transfer points. If you love seafood u will not be disappointed at all.
