Fresh air clean area! very nice neighbors so far, Rob is very nice and always there for us and the community whenever we need anything! Appreciate him the most!
Great maintenance experience with Rob. He’s a very personable guy that works fast to address maintenance issues. We reported a leaky sink in the late morning and by early evening it was fixed.
I enjoyed my stay at mid island apartment. When you need anything fixed or need anything replace Rob the super come right away. The property manager Mark was very nice and easy to work with. He was always there when we needed him and always answered any questions right away. I would recommend Mid Island Apartments to anyone thats looking. Its very safe here and the rental rates are reasonable. Thank You for the wonderful stay. Ive been here almost 4 years and would have stayed if I wasnt moving out of state.THANK YOU AGAIN
I would like to personally say Thank You to Mark for making my transition from Mid Island smooth and seamless. Ive been a resident for 30 years, in the same apt. Any issues or concerns were promptly handled, reassuring me not to worry about anything. The maintenance supervisor Rob was very caring & knowledgeable throughout the process. I would highly recommend taking residency at Mid Island if youre looking for a decent reasonable place to live. Applying for an apartment is not easy but, thank God for Mr. Mark he made all things easy and he’s so informative and patient with me. I am looking forward to moving into Mid Island Apartments. The property owner Mark was so helpful. He was great to work with; was very clear on what needed to be done and kept on top of everything. It it was an excellent experience.Update: Living at Mid-Island Apartments was a great experience. The property manager, Mark, is courteous and readily accessible when needed. If any service is needed the maintenance staff is ready to help any way they can. I just finished my lease here and I cannot thank the property manager Mark enough for making the entire process of both finding this apartment and ending my lease a complete breeze. He was so knowledgeable and easily accessible for any questions; he certainly took the stress out of the entire process. This apartment complex is so well maintained, the care and coordination of the grounds is impeccable. Both Mark and Rob were able to be reached at anytime with a solution for any concerns. It was truly a great renting experience and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a place in the Bayshore area.
Mid Island apartments leasing manager Mark is very professional and kind person he has been patient with us tenants during this pandemic and trying times. While some of us are laid off or working from home Mark is running the place per usual! Always answers tenants calls always makes him self available to meet with us to resolve any issues and is essentially a very hard worker. He never takes a day off! Not only is this a clean and quiet place to live we have great management thanks to Mark!
When do they answer their phone if someone has a question about leasing? Where do you go for leasing information? I have called a number of times but not once has anyone answered the phone.
Mark, the Property Manager was an amazing help and promptly answered all of our questions. Upon our arrival, he was there to meet us and to show us around the facilities. The studio apartment was clean and ready for move in. We also met the apartment superintendent Rob who seemed very kind and helpful. The residents that we met at the complex were all friendly and welcoming. The complex is very close and convenient to many stores and restaurants.
I would like to thank Rob in maintenance for always being on time and getting things done, he friendly, knowledgeable and always explains what the problem is and makes sure it gets fixed... Ive been here over 11+ years and even with the changes , I must say maintenance has always been on point...P, S, missing Mark , he was another + to living here, he made sure things got done..

My husband and I recently took a unit at Mid Island, the apartment was exactly what we needed, Mark and Rob could not have been more helpful and informative. They made the entire process incredibly easy, Mark was very prompt at answering any questions we had and gave very clear instructions on what steps we needed to take to secure the apartment. We specifically looked at Mid Island because of the great reviews and our experience confirms everything we read!

Mark Kaspiev was fantastic in assisting us set up our lease. Any time we have a question or concern he responds almost immediately. We viewed several apartments and had trouble deciding which one we wanted but he was very patient and understanding with us. He was also very accommodating of our needs and concerns regarding pet policy! Very very satisfied and excited to move in with our Beagles :)
So Ive been here for just almost 4 months now and happy to report I made the right choice. Mark & his team provide a welcoming & safe environment. 1st, quality finishes inside (beautiful flooring, white granite countertops, stainless appliances). 2nd, quick responses to any concerns (thanks Rob!) and weather issues (pathways cleared & salted & lots plowed in a timely manner). 3rd, very friendly neighbors! A nice mix of families & professionals, and never a shortage of 4 legged friends. I would highly recommend these apartments!
We lived in mid Island for 3 years and we came back. Its a quiet place to raise a family. Marc is beautiful and so are Jesus and Rob who worked after hours to make sure all is well. All is clean. The grass is beautiful we have little parks for babies to play. I loved it. Thanks for making safety quiet and rapid response a reality for us 💝💝💝💝💝💝
My experience at Mid island was a good one Mark the leasing manager was very on point with details and lease signing. Mark is very responsive with any questions. Also very hands on with all tenants issues concerning parking, etc... We are very glad to have him around he gets the job done!
Mark, the property manager, was beyond helpful. He made sure to find me the exact apartment I was looking for, and went out of his way to have it cleaned and ready for my move in date. He threw everything together so quick and made the move as easy as possible for me . I am truly grateful.
The leasing agent Mark, was very helpful in assisting finding the right apartment for my mom after I specified certain accommodations she would require. In the processing timeframe, he was very efficient in responding back to me with any questions and concerns I had. Weeks later, my mom currently resides in the complex, had 1 issue, and contacted Mark, and the situation was taken care of IMMEDIATELY. Highly recommend this complex, as well as Mark is great to work with.

I lived there for 10 years. The grounds were always kept up. Maintenance were always prompt and courteous. The apartment had beautiful wood floors and unit dryer and washing machines. It was great. Mark was amazing and available at all times. Beautiful neighborhood near downtown Bay Shore. I enjoyed living there.

Choosing where you go to lay your head for rest, especially after a long days work, and where you raise your kids is definitely not a walk in the park.My son has reached school age and Ive searched the web extensively for an apartment in a good school district to raise him. My search ended immediately when I was contacted by the site manager, Mark Kaspiev. Mark was very professional, easy going and I could feel the genuiness in his words. I thought this was too good to be true, so I went immediately to the reviews. Everyone had all good things to say about Mark, and I honestly wondered if they were probably fake reviews. But then, the more I Interacted with Mark throughout the whole process, leading up to the lease signing, I realize this was all true. He made the application process such a breeze. Because he is so personable, I feel like Ive already been living there for years. The line of communication was also very quick and effective. The complex is very well kept, both outside and inside the apartment. The apartment I chose is brand new, Its as if Im the first person to ever live there. The apartment is exactly as Ive anticipated it to be, and since I have to be very honest for potential renters, as I would want others to be for me, I must say there was only 1 small feature that was missing and Mark took care of it promptly. It might have been overlooked, and Im happy I asked , because from my experience so far, its obvious that Mark and the other MidIsland workers care about the comfort of their residents. The neighborhood also seems very calm and peaceful.I was skeptical at first, based on the few bad reviews that I read, but Im glad I decided to apply regardless. First impressions are lasting and Im confident my experience living at MidIslands will be a good one.
As a first time renter I expected the process to be overwhelming. However, with the help of Mark everything went smoothly. Honestly, this is probably the best apartment my partner and I ever lived in. Whenever anything needed to be fixed Rob got right on it. On one occasion, I was upset about a piece of my blinds broke. it didnt bother my partner but it bothered me. Of course I complained (because I like things a certain way) lol and the day I told Mark, not even 15 minutes later rob came to take a look, replaced all the blinds in my apartment! Even made them longer. Now when I do overnights and sleep during the day- I can shut my blinds and its total darkness. IF I ever needed anything, Mark made sure it was handled. Anytime I see Mark or Rob on the property, they are both always so polite. Ill probably be here for a few years. Thank you Mark & Rob for all you do!

Both Marks was excellent in getting me signed up. A couple of repairs happened before I officially moved in but they where on it!! Very Attentive, caring, and polite!! They did not play and games on making sure I was satisfied. The property is very manicured, I feel safe walking to my door, and it’s a quite community. I would recommend this place without a doubt.

My experience so far with Mid Island has been great. The Regional Manager, Mark is very nice and responsive when you email him with any questions you may have. I had a concern and Mark resolved it quickly, which put me at ease. I couldn’t be happier.
At around 10:30 p.m. I locked myself out of the apartment. I texted mark and he said the super was unavailable but he would happily drive out here to help me out. What property manager goes out of his way like this? Highly recommended!

I’ve been searching for apartments in the islip/bay shore area and let me tell you, most places don’t want to answer or just leave you on hold. mark was super quick to get back with me and answer literally all of my questions (which were quite a few), and was beyond pleasant. not sure if this will be our final decision, but they’ve definitely made the top of our list!
I been living here 6 months and thought it was going to be a great place. Let me start by saying my next door neighbor threaten a bullet threw my window and I called everyone in complex of management and asked to be moved to a new apartment and was told NO. They won’t evict her and I have criminal charges against her. Criminal acts is consider a eviction action but nope. They will evict you if your late on rent. This person also has a dog that goes to the bathroom in the apartment and it smells that finally someone else complained and she cleaned up a little it stills smell like piss it’s nasty. I have contact lawyers and media and have to have a law suit started. People have bed bugs and we weren’t informed just see all the furniture sitting by dumpster for a week with bed bugs. They don’t care about you at all here and this is our home not There’s and they don’t care.
This place is very bad !!!! They got roaches and also their water comes out brown when you filled up your tub and they always have an excuse that they just put in a new filter , this happens frequently !!!!! MARK ON THE OTHER HAND HE IS A GREAT person, he is the landlord and is very understanding
They claimed to be interested in helping out first responders, and yet denied my application based on a repo that I had years ago. Completely disregarding my current income and my rental history within recent years. I’m supposed to start at a hospital on the 13th (they have me short notice) and I’m moving in from Texas to NY... and this is disheartening
Very disappointed in what happened this evening. We traveled 30 mins to come out to the Mid-Island Apartments in Bayshore for our confirmed tour guide at 6pm and door was locked and lights were off. It clearly states the office is open late on Wednesdays till 7pm and at exactly 6pm there was no one to be found. What happened?!?!? Extremely unprofessional of your facility and we will most definitely not look to lease from you in the future.Poor rating...thumbs down!-loss of business
Before signing an agreement here Dont be fooled by the manicured landscape thinking like me that this is a quality residence.Complaints are as follows, Do you take pride in your ride by wiping it clean in this parking lot, you better hope cheap residents arent watching you, the get annoyed, having a birthday party? Even if you notify neighbors and management, your downstairs neighbor will intentionally report you and management sends you a warning. Want you neighbor who is a drunk slamming his fist againstvyour door at 3 am? It will happen here, have a little transistor radio, your downstairs neighbor is going to report you, watch television, your downstairs neighbor is going to report you. See the construction of this complex is built cheaply and no insulation in the floors and walls for sound reduction. Management authorized illegal entry with a copy of my key and broke open my bedroom door which I had a door handle lock on, this is what I found, broken everything, how do I know maintenance did this? They locked the door on their way out, idiots. Complaint is with the 5th prescient.
The worst year if my life. If you want to feel like a social service recipient move here. The office personnel whom suppose to hand out brochures Brandon has delusional job descriptions in his head and will try to take advantage if you half a brain. Its a dumps dump. They allow children to play in the parking lot and maintainence instead of doing their job think they are date able when its a EWWWWWWWW to the tenth power instead of coming to your apartment after a days work to relax every day you have to put those rocket scientists back in their lanes. The best word to use for the complex is DUMP.
The apartments are great and clean. Everyone has been super helpful and responsive with every request we’ve had.

2022-02-17My husband and I are grateful to have chosen Mid Island Apartments when we lived there. We moved to a new home now but we just have to leave excellent reviews for Mark and Rob who has been so helpful, and considerate. If we have any issues with the apartment, they make sure to help us and address it as soon as they can.During our stay for 14 months they renovated the building, and the parking lot. We love the huge windows allowing a lot of sunlight indoors. For the kind of apartment we got, our monthly rent was reasonable. Very nice and convenient location plus near the beautiful Main St.of Bay Shore. Would definitely recommend!

He always has gone above and beyond for my family. Any little ask he helps us out! Always available around the clock maintenance help whenever we have reached out. Quick response and honest.

2022-06-03I have been living here almost 5 years, the rent was always reasonable and maintenance is always readily available immediately even during COVID, they were there 24 hrs later max even on weekends. Rob has always been most helpful fixing stuff to helping discard very large objects safely. Def always recommend quiet neighborhood, very close to ammenties.

2022-02-22We ended up not moving in. The apartment buildings smelled like a casino. The super, Rob, admitted to us that they know that people smoke cigarettes in their units and do absolutely nothing to stop them. Premises were dirty and not maintained well at all. Extremely disappointed in not only this, but how poorly the leasing manager was. It was nothing but stressful communicating back and forth with her, didn’t have any clear answers for anything, very unprofessional ( eating candy on the phone) and I felt I was doing half her job for her. We backed out of moving in last minute because of how disgusting our future apartment smelt. Knowing it was never going to get better, we made the decision not to move in. Very disappointed with this process.

2022-06-28Mid Island apartments would not be where it is right now if it weren’t for the handyman that work here, especially Robert. Robert has always been there since I moved in and has always helped as soon as possible when we needed something fixed. He manages his time perfectly and that is why I think that without handyman like Rob, these apartments would not be where they are at right now.

They get to all issues super efficiently and I never wait for more then 24hrs for a problem to be solved. Not only are they efficient but the professionalism is fantastic🙌🙌 thanks so much

2022-06-15At this point the maintenance department (5 ⭐️ Rob and his crew) has been excellent in keeping up with the maintenance and safety of property and surrounding areas. As well, the exterminator crew doing there best in keep this place free 🪳 🐜 of any uninvited visitors.
